================== ARTICLE START ==================
Lets be honest, everyone feels depressed at some time during
their lives. Circumstances and life events can sometimes propel
us into this state as if we have little or no control over being
there. Here's the thing, there are times when feeling depressed
is appropriate, when you should feel glum or grumpy or angry,
sometimes it is completely right that you should be there. It
begins to become a problem when you spend too much time there-
either because you can't shake it off and spend prolonged
periods feeling bad, or because you are going there easily and
regularly- too regularly, even when your circumstances are
generally good.

When someone is feeling very depressed you can hear it and see
it in them, you might even get a vibe from them that something
just isn't quite right. There are a number of ways of spotting
it- The tone of their voice coupled with the language that they
are using, typically will be very negative, plus their bodies
will look un enthused, tired and sickly (and they will also
probably feel that way.)The danger with being in this state is
that like anything in life, the more you practice it, the better
you get at it, so every time you revisit that emotional state
(if you are going there a lot) you can get into it quicker and
experience the feeling to a greater intensity. What is happening
is that the neural networks within the nervous system that
relate to the state of depression, become stronger. If you think
of a motorway as an example, the roads are well traveled and
strong, so the traffic can move at speed. If the neural network
is the motorway and the cars are the information that tell you
to feel depressed, you can see how this becomes greatly enforced
and fast. If the happy feelings are like an overgrown country
lane, you'll understand that it's less easy for the traffic to
travel down that road, but the more and more the traffic does
travel on that path instead, the easier that road becomes to be
on. The less frequently you use your depression "motorways" the
more overgrown and out of use they become. So this is how you
begin to do it:

Firstly, use the wheel of life on the "try it you might like
it" page of the People Building Website. Use this to identify
which areas of your life are giving you the most trouble. It's
always a good idea to think of your wheel of life as a bicycle
wheel- so if it's not looking very well rounded you can expect
to get a bit of a bumpy ride! Then it is time to find yourself a
good coach, and preferably someone who can offer you some
therapeutic help for the areas of your life that challenge you
and to help keep you in a peak state. NLP in St Albans can be
particularly effective for providing you with empowerment, but
beware, a good NLP practitioner in St Albans will not let you
blame others for the way you are feeling. The point of feeling
empowered is that you start to think about controlling your
emotions, instead of having them controlling you. Putting
outside influences in charge of the way that you feel doesn't
help you to feel empowered and in control. That's not to say
that they will not listen or be sympathetic, but their job is to
help you create some positive changes and help you stay in a
better state, not to keep going over all the reasons why you
should be feeling bad.

Here are 3 major things to consider when eliminating depression

1) The mind

Where's you head at? What do you spend most of your time
thinking about? day dreaming about? Remembering about? Quality
stuff that makes you feel good or bad stuff that- guess what-
makes you feel bad.

2) The body

Are you drinking enough water? Are you eating healthy food? Do
you get enough sleep? Remember that your body is a lab filled up
with chemicals but it doesn't run on its own, you are
responsible for maintaining it's equilibrium by eating and
drinking the right stuff. Your emotions are created by hormones,
hormones are chemicals. It makes sense that you should provide
the right chemical intake to keep your lab well stocked with
good quality chemical.

3) The spirit

Do you do what makes you feel alive? I meet so many depressed
people who I ask "Do you love your job?" and most of them reply
"No." You have to do things in your life that make you feel
happy in order to be happy. Most of us spend more time at work
than we do with the people we love, so it's really got to be a
great job. Think about what hobbies make you feel good and just
as importantly, take an evaluation of the people you spend your
time with. We become like the people we spend most of our time
with, so if you're around people who are pessimistic or
negative, you can expect to have some of that starting to show
up in your own personality.

A brief description of fibromyalgia is widespread pain
throughout the body lasting for several months or years. The
pain due to fibromyalgia is due to stiffness of muscles and
bones. Fibromyalgia causes a non-bearable pain in the body. The
cause of is still unknown. Its can be due to physical or
emotional fact which develops a syndrome. A research suggests
that frequent sleep disturbance causes fibromyalgia in most of
the patients and it can be classified as a major cause. Women
are more likely to suffer from fibromyalgia at a ratio of 4 to
1. The reason is still a mystery. But that does indicate that
men are safe from the deadly pain of fibromyalgia. There was a
belief that children cannot be a prey to it, but a research
reported that 6.2 percent of children suffer from fibromyalgia
in Israel. The age of these children is between 9 and 15.

If you are affected from fibromyalgia and you want get rid of
than you treatments which are natural, medical but most
significant and effective treatment is of hypnosis when
fibromyalgia is the problem. A study by Office of Alternative
Medicine, NIH of US, stated that fibromyalgia treatment by
hypnosis is more effective and has 80 percent of good result as
outcome. The figure itself must have given you some relief from
fibromyalgia pain. Hypnosis is more efficient in throwing out
the fibromyalgia pain from your body and comforts you. The
simple reason for it being the best is that it does not use any
medical procedure or there is any requirement of drugs to be
injected in your body. With hypnosis you can overcome the pain
as it empowers your subconscious mind to overcome from
fibromyalgia. Your body is already suffering from a bundle of
painful bones, muscles, ligaments and a number of nights without
sleep.

Fibromyalgia treatment is possible with a little help from your
own side. You can have the power to cure yourself from
fibromyalgia and relax yourself with no pain. You can learn the
techniques of hypnosis and control your subconscious mind and
have a powerful tool for fibromyalgia treatment. Hypnosis will
surely help you in giving independence from the pain, but it
will also help you to overcome depression caused due to the
pain.

You must be praying everyday to God while going to bed that the
next day when you wake up you want to be free of fibromyalgia
pain. Well God has just listened to your prayers and sent a tool
of hypnosis for you. By hypnosis you can direct your brain that
you would not feel the pain. You will be normal, working, happy
and relieved from fibromyalgia pain. For the best fibromyalgia
treatment you need not visit any doctor or pay heavy medical
bills. Treatment for fibromyalgia is available on the internet
in the form of mp3 or video, maybe a book. Going through
hypnosis for fibromyalgia treatment you will be bringing
yourself back to a life which you always dream of. Go ahead if
hypnosis help 80 percent of pain than its worth going for it.
Live life as you plan not as the pain.

With the pressures of climbing the corporate ladder and just
keeping up with the Jones's, there are many things that are
pushing us in life to succeed and achieve greater goals year on
year. While really wanting to succeed and attain our goals we
can stumble on some obstacles that may be barriers that keep up
from making a success in life and reaching our goals. One
example of this is a fear of public speaking; also known as
public speaking anxiety. In a recent survey this phobia was put
at number one as being the most severe fear that you could
suffer from. Just to show you how bad it can be, the fear of
death on the same survey came it at number seven!

As a `recovered' sufferer of public speaking anxiety myself, I
can empathize with people that are sufferers at the moment. The
phobia itself is `all in the mind' however it really does have a
physical part to play too, allowing us to sweat, shake and get
palpitations – sometimes even just thinking about it! I even
remember reading a case history once of a young man in his
twenties suffering a heart attack due to the stress and pressure
that he was under with his public speaking anxiety. It really
can cause a massive effect on the person that it is hounding.

Most sufferers will unfortunately just come to terms with it
and allow it to limit them in future life choices such as
getting a promotion at work or just giving an after dinner or
best mans speech. If you do suffer from this condition you can
think back now on just how many opportunities that you have
missed out on due to this irrational fear. Some of you may have
just tried facing it, only to make the phobia stronger after a
failed attempt! Wherever you are at the moment – with the
correct approach you can get the success that you both desire
and deserve.

I help all of my clients that come to me for help with public
speaking anxiety with hypnosis and self hypnosis. In fact in my
clinic and with my downloads and my book I have helped thousands
to overcome this fear with great success. Simply put – hypnosis
reprograms the part of the brain that houses all of the
behaviours and beliefs that make this phobia. This part of the
brain is called the sub-conscious mind. Hypnosis works on every
aspect of the phobia giving the client the results that they
want and need.

Dogs like to play. Giving them their own things to play with is
a great way to let them use some of their energy, and also keep
away from your things that they should not be chewing on. But
there is a bit of an art to selecting the right dog toys.

Just like kids, all dogs don't like the same dog toys. Some
dogs like to play a little rough others have a softer side.

The first thing to consider, when choosing dog toys, is to make
sure the toys are the right size. The toys you give your dog
should always be large enough they could not get stuck in your
dog's throat. Dogs will chew on toys. That's how they play. You
just need to make sure what they will chew on will be safe. One
mistake many dog owners make is to give their dogs golf balls to
play with. While this may seem fun at first, once the dog is
able to break through the outer skin of the golf ball, they may
well start to swallow the insides, and that could soon mean a
trip to the vet's office.

Next you need to decide what style of toys will best suit your
dog. This could take a little bit of trial and error when you
first get your pet.

You may have to buy a few different styles of toys and then
watch to see which kind he seems to be the most interested in.
All dogs develop their own playing style and by watching what
they like to play with, and what they don't, you will be able to
more easily select toys they will like in the future.

For a rough and tumble dog, you want to get pull dog toys, and
things that are a little hardier and created for a rip-roaring
playtime. If tug of war is a game you like to play with your
dog, you need to make sure you get tugging toys that are fun,
but also safe. While you will be pulling with your hands, your
dog will be pulling with his teeth. That means there could be
damage done of the toy he is pulling on is too hard. You should
look for rubber or rope pull items so they will be a little
softer on the inside of his mouth.

If you have a dog that likes to shred things it may be best to
choose tug of war toys that are not made of rope, as this rope
could well be the next thing that is shredded in your home.

Some dogs like softer toys, and things that are not as rough on
their teeth. For these pets there are plenty of stuffed dog toys
to choose from. Many of them are stuffed animals that have
rattles or squeakers inside, so as your dog plays with them,
they will make noise and encourage him to play even more.

One important note on giving your dog stuffed animals. If you
have children, teach your dog which toys are his and which are
your child's. You may have to monitor this for a while to make
sure your pet doesn't attack the kid's toys.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
An ingrown toenail is a condition that if you have ever had
one, you will never forget it!

An ingrown toenail is a very painful condition of the toe and
affects men, women, boys and girls.

The agony of an ingrown toenail is something that can wake you
during the night, disrupt you during an important business
meeting, and seemingly drive you out of your mind.

An ingrown toenail is a rather common condition suffered by
many.

An ingrown toenail occurs when the side or corner of one of
your toenails grows in to the soft and delicate flesh of that
toe.

It happens because as the sharp corner of the toenail begins to
grow it begins to dig into the skin at the corner of or at the
side off the toe.

Redness, pain, and inflammation at the very spot where the nail
curls into the skin, is the very first symptom of an ingrown
toenail that you will see.

If the ingrown toenail is bad enough you may also have an
infection in the area. An ingrown toenail typically affects the
great toe, also known as the big toe, most often.

If you leave an ingrown toenail untreated, it can progress to a
horrific infection or even an abscess that requires surgical
intervention.

Quite often you can take care of your ingrown toenails all by
yourself. However, if the pain from the toenail is severe or
spreading, then you should see your physician for her help to
relieve the pain of the ingrown toenail.

It is important to remember that if you have diabetes or any
other health condition that causes poor circulation to your feet
or one that puts you at a higher risk for any type of infection,
then you should not try to treat an ingrown toenail on your own.
You must see your health care provider for assistance.

An ingrown toenail is an inconvenience and irritation that must
be dealt with.

Whether you address the issue on your own or you get the
assistance of your health care provider, it really doesn't
matter. The bottom line is, you should not allow an ingrown
toenail to simply persist.

Get the treatment that you need.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
When you start to think about school, you start to think about
all the stress that's involved when it comes to classes, making
friends, getting homework on time, finances, and list can go on.
When it comes to reducing stress, most students will do just
about anything to do this. What a lot of college students don't
realize is that you're able to make your finances a lot more
manageable with credit cards.

I'm sure by now you've heard a million bad things about credit
cards. It's like the old saying "There's always one bad apple in
the batch." The same goes with society. There's always people
out there ruining the image for the rest of us. What students
don't realize is that there are a lot of people out there that
don't know how to manage their credit cards and finances
therefore putting them in that awful debt black hole.

Credit cards are a great way to keep track of your finances and
benefit off perks at the same time. If you're currently using
cash, you're not getting anything for that money. If you set
that cash aside and use a credit card, you're now going to get
some sort of a reward. When your bill comes in the mail, you can
simply send the cash/check off to the credit card companies.

When it comes to college finances, you may find that it's hard
to earn cash and I understand that. What you need to realize is
that when you don't have cash, you shouldn't be using your
credit cards. If you do have the cash, it's important that you
start a budget. With a budget you're able to benefit with the
maximum perks of a credit card. Let's show how they can benefit
you below.

- Get rewards for every dollar you spend.
- Know exactly what you're spending each month.
- Track your spending month to month all on one bill.
- Build your credit history.
- Great to have for emergencies.

These are some great focal points that you should look into
when you start to apply or currently have a credit card. So many
people want to knock down the credit card market but they don't
want to point out the positive effects of a credit card. I'll
not this again, a credit card can be deadly, it all depends on
the user. What you need to remember is that a credit card can't
be treated like play cash. You need to be able to pay off your
bill every month, no exceptions.

If you think you're a responsible college student and you want
to keep track of your expenses easier, it's probably the best
thing that you look into a credit card. Even though you hear a
lot of negative side effects, like anything, you should look
into the positive effects as well. If you think the positive
will help you out in college, then you have nothing to lose. If
you think once you get it, you'll abuse it, then you can simply
cancel it and go back to your financial ways you used before.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Raleigh Schools leaders and teachers may be divided on the
effectiveness of nationally mandated requirements. But they're
obligated to adhere to them. On January 8, 2002, the No Child
Left Behind Act was signed into law. Built on four principles,

1.accountability for results,
2.more choices for parents,
3.greater local control and flexibility,
4.and using teaching methods based on scientific research,

the act was intended to unite schools and school systems across
the nation with one common goal; educate our children to the
best of our ability.

In 2007, a new NCLB Act was set before the legislature,
intending to reauthorize the guidelines set forth in the
original law. Adhering to this "new" law, Raleigh Schools are
doing all they can to ensure that no child gets left behind. In
a statement made in July of 2006, Education Secretary Margaret
Spellings had this to say:

"The NCLB Act of 2007 strikes a strong balance between
preserving the fundamental accountability that is helping
students improve, and responding to legitimate concerns raised
by parents and educators."

Able to see that even laws must at least be flexible to our
changing world, the reauthorization affected by the government
attempts to address these concerns.

Since the beginning the NCLB Act has shown sweeping effects on
Raleigh Schools students, teachers, parents, and school systems
themselves. The fifty-five counties in West Virginia (of which
Raleigh Schools are apart of) are constantly and consistently
evaluating how they are educating their students. To follow the
law, Raleigh Schools teachers and administrators must look even
more carefully at the types of learners they are working with
and use teaching methods that will reach them all.

Serving 12,000 students, Raleigh Schools are working to create
a unified, standards-based curriculum that serves as a map for
educating these children. Raleigh Schools teachers have been
involved in the organization and prioritization of the
curriculum. This has provided an opportunity for a thorough
examination of the content standards they teach. Knowing what to
teach is a first step. Knowing how to teach the students of
Raleigh Schools effectively is the next and crucial step that
teachers must learn and implement in order to give their
students the best education they possibly can.

To this end, teachers working in Raleigh Schools have received,
and will continue to receive professional development (commonly
known as in-service training) with NCLB funding. Participating
in quality professional development has provided the Raleigh
Schools teachers with the research-based educational practices
necessary to meet the requirements of the No Child Left Behind
legislation. Raleigh Schools teachers, probably the most
enthusiastic of all learners, are constantly on the lookout to
improve their skills and knowledge; the NCLB gives them the
funding needed to continue this vital continuing education.

Currently there are 14 public Raleigh Schools and two private
Raleigh Schools receiving Title I funding. Eligibility for
funding is based the school's free and reduced lunch count as
compared to county's average.

If you are selling your home in San Diego, or looking to buy,
finding the right San Diego real estate agent can make a big
difference in whether or not you get a good deal. But how do
you find the San Diego real estate agent who is right for you?
Here are a few points to consider when choosing a San Diego real
estate agent:

Go for Experience

You may have heard it said that the three most important
aspects of selling your home is location, location, location.
Well, when choosing a San Diego real estate agent, probably the
most important quality to look for is experience, experience,
experience. The real estate profession is one with a high rate
of turnover, and many San Diego real estate agents you come
across will be newcomers. When buying or selling such a large
investment as real estate, it just makes sense to use a real
estate agent with several years of experience. Don't even
consider using a San Diego real estate agent without at least
two years of experience, preferably more. An experienced real
estate agent should have an established track record of buying
and selling homes in the San Diego area. This professional
expertise will definitely benefit you as you buy or sell your
San Diego real estate.

Consider Personality

One thing that many people overlook in choosing a San Diego
real estate agent is personality. Make sure to work with a San
Diego real estate agent who has a compatible personality—meaning
they understand your goals, are willing to be patient, and are
good at maintaining communication with you about your real
estate. If all they seem to care about is selling the first
house they take you to, or tell you that your asking price is
too high just to make a quick sale, then you know that the San
Diego real estate agent you are working with is not really
serving your needs. Look for a San Diego real estate agent who
listens to your wants and responds by showing you houses that
actually fit your criteria. Make sure they are comfortable with
being patient until you find the real estate agent that
satisfies you. Doing so will make the buying or selling of your
real estate a much more successful experience.

Finding the Right Agent

You may be wondering how to find a San Diego real estate agent
who has the characteristics mentioned above. The most effective
way to do this is by word of mouth. Talk to other people you
know in the area who have recently bought or sold real estate
and find out who they would recommend. You can also use online
websites, such as, to find a local realtor with the background
and experience you desire. Once you do come across a San Diego
real estate agent you think you would work well with, make sure
to set up an interview. Try to interview at least three
different realtors before deciding on which one would work best
with you. Following these recommendations should make it much
easier for you to find a San Diego real estate agent who will
work diligently for you, and will help to make the buying or
selling of your home go as smoothly as possible.

Great'

================== ARTICLE START ==================
This article revolves around a single yet very powerful
question I have to ask you:

Do you want your life to be `good'…or do you want it to be
`great'?

Simple enough question. And yet, how you answer will dictate
the kind of experiences you have in the very near future.

Let me explain. For the past week, I've been listening to Jim
Collins' book, "Good To Great" on 6 CDs. I've already listened
to the first half of the book twice and I'll probably play it
another 4 times before I'm done with it (when you want to learn
something new, use the power of repetition to saturate your
consciousness with that new information).

There's too much `good' and not enough `great' in our lives
today.

But that's ok, because I'm about to reveal to you one of the
main reasons why many of our lives tend to play out as mediocre
and what you can do to change this fairly quickly.

Now, `Good To Great' focuses on identifying the differences
between good companies and great ones. The question Jim Collins
continuously asked himself was, "How do you take a `good'
company and make it `Great'?"

With all the time you've put into reading personal development
books and listening to CDs, I'm sure you know by now that
success principles recognized in one area of our life (ie,
business development) can be easily applied to another.

I want you to ask yourself right now:

How do I take the `good' or `ok' parts of my life and make them
`Great'?

How can I make my relationships with my wife, husband,
children, family, friends and coworkers stronger….make them
`Great'?

How can I turn my `good' salary and financial situation into
something `Great'?

Asking these questions can set the forces of life into motion
and new circumstances, situations, opportunities will begin to
almost miraculously appear for you.

One of the secrets to turning your life from `ok or good' to
`Great', is through recognizing and demonstrating (living) the
following very important success principle:

"If you see the separateness of life…then life will be
separate.

If you see the interconnectedness of life…then life will be
connected."

How To Quickly and Easily Go From Good To Great

We sometimes get these `aha!' moments where something clicks
inside us and our understanding of life and of ourselves
deepens. I remember one time this happened during a small debate
I was having with several coworkers. I was in the marketing
dept. of a company at the time and these guys were from the
sales dept. The debate was over which was more important:
marketing or sales?

Now, ask someone from marketing and usually they'll say
`marketing.'

Ask someone from the sales dept.? Chances are they'll say
'sales.'

What's more important? Marketing or Sales? How can you tell?

What's the real answer? Marketing SUPPORTS sales!

Just as a husband and wife SUPPORT each other.

And a supervisor and employee SUPPORT each other.

Until you understand this in both your heart and your mind,
you'll continue dividing life into separate parts and that's
just what you'll continue to experience in your life:
separateness from your own greatness.

That's all for now. Practice asking yourself, "how can I go
from "good' to "Great' in ______________. Remember: the key to
rapid success is learning to embrace life. Practicing this can
bring you richer, more powerful, and more fulfilling experiences
in your relationships, in your career, and even in your health!

Have a powerful day. I appreciate you!

Welcome to paradise for that is what the word 'Hawaii' means;
and with a warm, sub-tropical climate, friendly outgoing people,
some of the world's most wondrous scenery and those famous
beautiful beaches, who are we to argue? The islands of Hawaii
each have their own unique characteristics and the four main
islands offer a world of contrasts. There are black lava desert
plains, waterfalls, rainforest, the world's most active volcano,
endless beaches and even snow-capped mountains.

The Hawaiian Islands are known for their breathtaking scenery
and the hospitality of their people, as well their abundant
marine life. Surfing and diving are popular pursuits, but you
can kayak or bicycle tour the islands as well. With most
high-density tourism activity located around Honolulu, on the
island of Oahu (also home to the famed Waikiki beach resort),
visitors looking for a more laid-back holiday usually head for
one of the other islands.

The long awaited Superferry service has now started operation,
so access to the outer islands is better than ever and cheaper.
This high-speed, 866-passenger catamaran carries both people and
vehicles between Oahu and Maui, and should begin services to
Kauai in the near future.

You can drive aboard the Hawaii Superferry in your own car,
relax in the lounges, watch TV and enjoy refreshments during the
three-hour ocean voyage. Adult, advance purchase, midweek fares
start at $44 one way (plus a fuel surcharge), while peak fares
(Friday–Monday) start at $54. You can take your car for an extra
$59.

The introduction of the Superferry has dramatically altered the
fare structures for traveling within the Hawaiian Islands,
forcing airlines, which have long dominated inter-island
transportation, to slash their fares to meet their new
competitors head to head. Of course airfares change regularly,
but in recent months Hawaiian and Aloha airlines have been
offering inter-island sale fares of $19 one way. These airlines
also offer tour packages that allow you to see as many of the
major islands in Hawaii that you have the time and resources to
visit.

Cruise ships also run services to Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii
(often called the big island to avoid confusion with the state
of Hawaii), giving you a taste of the best each island has to
offer.

A trip from Honolulu to Maui by Superferry takes about three
hours, compared to about 40 minutes by plane. To secure cheap
air and ferry fares, be sure to make your reservation early – at
least two to three weeks in advance, or at least as soon as you
know your travel dates. Also, flying on a weekday usually costs
less than flying on Saturday or Sunday, and flights departing on
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday generally offer the lowest
fares.

If you visit during the low season (January–May,
September–November) you can save up to 20 per cent on fares. So
whenever you travel to Hawaii, keep in mind the different
options for inter-island travel and check the transportation
companies well in advance for new services and special rates.
Welcome to paradise!

But local independent and national record stores want to be
counted and included in the vinyl sales figures because it is at
these smaller record stores where vinyl records are selling the
best.

So to help bring attention to this dilemma and to help
celebrate the record store culture, hundreds of independently
owned music stores across the country will celebrate the first
annual "Record Store Day" on April 19th.

I spoke with Eric Levin, who owns Criminal Records
(www.criminal.com) a independent record store in Atlanta about
the concept and celebratory plans of Record Store Day
(www.recordstoreday.com).

"We came up with the concept at the annual Noise in the
Basement convention in Baltimore, a gathering of independent
record stores hosted by the Music Monitor Network
(www.monitorthis.com). It is similar to "Free Comic Book Day
(www.freecomicbookday.com), in that we decided to help bring
attention to our stores by saying- we are out here, enjoy what
we have to offer," said Eric. "So on this day, all of the
stores that choose to participate will simultaneously link
together and act as one with the purpose of celebrating the
culture and unique place that they occupy both in their local
communities and nationally."

"We have over 200 independent record stores that have signed up
for the event, with more signing on each day. Each store will
be doing something different to celebrate Record Store Day.
Some stores may opt to have an `in store' performance, special
sale events, demonstrations, dances, swap meets or `an afternoon
at a record store' promotion as well as provide a `goodie bag'
that promotes new formats, new releases and exciting information
about music, theatrical and gaming releases. Everything that
makes an indie store unique should be on display," related Eric.

Music stores have been part of our culture for decades and it
is important to note that, while there may not be as many of
them as there used to be, there are still those unique music
shops that continue to thrive and are still part of our local
and national music culture.

In fact, many music related entities have signed on to be part
of Record Store Day as Eric explains:

"We have many groups involved including the Coalition of
Independent Music Stores (www.cimsmusic.com), the Alliance of
Independent Media Stores (www.thealliancerocks.com), Newbury
Comics (www.newburycomics.com) & The Music Monitor Network
(www.monitorthis.com), where one can find links to some of the
best indie record shops around the country; with many more
organizations signing up each day."

"In fact, all indie record stores are invited to participate by
making April 19th, 2008 a day of celebration at their place of
business. Some music labels are getting involved as well by
releasing special editions marking the day and the celebration
of the music and the record store," said Eric.

Moreover, many famous musicians are chiming in and doing their
best to, not only promote Record Store Day, but the culture that
encompasses it. Here are a few quotes:

Paul McCartney - "There's nothing as glamorous to me as a
record store. When I recently played Amoeba in LA, I realised
what fantastic memories such a collection of music brings back
when you see it all in one place. This is why I'm more than
happy to support Record Store Day and I hope that these kinds of
stores will be there for us all for many years to come. Cheers!"

Norah Jones - "It's important to keep indie record stores alive
because their unique environments introduce music lovers to
things in a very personal way."

John Doe - "The physical act of picking up a recording (CD,
vinyl, cassette), checking it out, finding something
unavailable, etc.; is an experience you will NEVER get online.
And now it's becoming common knowledge that CDs have more
digital information than most files, so they sound better. A
great or even good record store is like no other."

Chuck Berry - "Music is an important part of our culture and
record stores play a vital part in keeping the power of music
alive."

Joan Jett - "The indie record stores are the backbone of the
recorded music culture. It's where we go to network, browse
around, and find new songs to love. The stores whose owners and
staff live for music have spread the word about exciting new
things faster and with more essence than either radio or the
press. Any artist that doesn't support the wonderful ma and pa
record stores across America is contributing to our own
extinction."

Ziggy Marley - "Record stores keep the human social contact
alive it brings people together. Without the independent record
stores the community breaks down with everyone sitting in front
of their computers"

Ben Watt (Everything But The Girl) - "It is hard to
underestimate the role of independent retail in the music
industry. As the world continues to try and cram every purchase
they make onto their computer, turning music into binary digits
and artwork into pixelated packshots, we can only sit and wait
for them to wake up from their dream and realize that ultimately
human interaction in shops, with informed good people, handling
cherishable artefacts is good for the soul. In the meantime we
need to support the people who keep this world alive for the
moment we all realize we need it again."

Sam Phillips (A&R/producer for Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl
Perkins, and many others) - "There would be no Elvis. There
would be no Johnny Cash. There'd be no B.B King. There'd be no
Roscoe Gordon. There'd be no Carl Perkins. There would be no
Jerry Lee Lewis. There would be no Roy Orbison. I can just tell
you. We owe all of that to the independents and the independent
people that work so hard for us to have something that could be
accepted through their efforts, hard work, and desire to keep a
personal feeling in every record.."

Dean Wareham (Luna) - "We are drowning in a sea of Myspace,
blather, and too much information. Music is everywhere and
nowhere. The independent record store is the solution, a place
staffed by friendly (or not) people who are actually paid to
weed through this crap and help you find the good stuff."

G. Love- "Independent record stores are where kids like me
learned about the music that made them the musicians they are
today. Independent record stores are about the love of records
not the love of money!"

So as you have just read, the passion that these musicians have
for the independent record shops is immeasurable. These are the
professionals who know a little something about the music
industry and embrace the concepts, culture and meaning of Record
Store Day. Let's make Record Store Day a national celebration
of the independent record store, the musicians who love them and
the historical culture that each individual store brings to each
and every one of us.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Change is inevitable; as an economy matures, ages, and
ultimately evolves into something new, adjustments must be made
to our business development, marketing and branding. Failure to
adapt to new realities results in potentially unwanted dramatic
consequences.

We are all aware of how modern economies have grown from
agricultural, to industrial, and on to the information-based,
but where do we stand now? Is the information economy dead and
if so what's replaced it?

We need look no further than Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs to see
parallels between personal and economic growth in a
sophisticated modern economy. The agrarian economy satisfied the
first level of Maslow's hierarchy by fulfilling basic physical
needs like food, while the industrial age provided the goods
necessary to satisfy a variety of concerns ranging from safety
to social acceptance and status; the information economy
provided answers to our cognitive needs, the desire for
knowledge, but things have changed. The Web has disrupted
business as usual: the effects on the music, film, television,
newspaper, book publishing, and software industries, just to
mention a few, has been not just dramatic, but traumatic. The
adage, 'adapt or die,' has never been truer for business. So
where are we now on the personal and economic pyramid?

Be All You Can Be

At the top of this pyramid is 'self-actualization' the desire
to make the most of our existence and as the US Army's slogan
states to 'Be All You Can Be.' This is the central defining
issue of the new economic reality, the Experience Economy.

Authors B. Joseph Pine and James H. Gilmore state the issue of
what business needs to focus on in this new economic era: "While
commodities are fungible, goods are tangible, services are
intangible, experiences are memorable and transformations are
effectual. All other economic offerings have no lasting
consequence beyond their consumption." - 'The Experience
Economy: Work is Theatre & Every Business a Stage.'

Experiences are memorable and transformations effectual, this
should be your new marketing mantra, your marching orders to
fulfill what the market demands: to be all you can be.

Experiences Are Memorable, Transformations Effectual

What then does this mean: experiences are memorable and
transformations effectual. In order to effect change: to turn
website audiences into customers, marketers must deliver
something more than commodities that are replaceable for a
price, goods that are made irrelevant by technology, and
services that are mere conveniences. The businesses that will
succeed in this new experience economy are the businesses that
will provide an experience and not just goods and services.

We are surrounded by examples of the experience economy both
online and off. The growth of coffee giant, Starbucks, was not a
result of great coffee but of the experience it provided to
patrons, while online, iTunes satisfied the ignored needs of
music buyers and Amazon did the same for book lovers. The
Macintosh is finally gaining market share because the experience
consumers have had with iPods has been so satisfying that they
are now ready to bring that same satisfying experience to their
desktops. The key to business survival is not a new feature or
even a lower price, but rather an experience that satisfies the
soul.

Experiences Satisfy The Soul

Traditional business thinking has lagged far behind the
sophisticated psychological desires of the experience-economy
consumer. Business schools have produced a cadre of bean
counters and statistical idiot savants whose grasp of this new
experience-driven economic reality has been outpaced by
Web-savvy mavericks bent on delivering the essential emotional
need of consumers to gain some measure of satisfaction in a
hectic, demanding, frustrating world.

The Web is not without its own version of mindless number
crunchers, selling the search engine optimization snake oil of
Web-traffic nirvana. These new age carpetbaggers play on the
conventional wisdom and comfort food of spreadsheet statistics.
Like Texas Hold'em poker, you can play the math or you can play
the man, and it's the latter that generally walks away the
winner.

The Six-Step Web-Branding Blueprint

The Goal: Transformation Through Self-Actualization

The end result of our efforts is to transform website visitors
into customers but in order to do that we must take a step back.
The experience economy demands a new way of thinking about your
audience and exactly what it is you're selling. Every marketing
decision you make from now on should relate back to one simple
priority: what element of self-actualization do you deliver?
Find that element and build your marketing campaign around it.
Forget price, quality and service; they are all discounted in
the minds of a highly cynical marketplace bugged more than
enlightened by heavy-handed old-school marketing presentations
and methodologies.

Step one: understand your marketing goal is to transform your
audience from unsatisfied cynical viewers into satisfied
contented clients.

The Prerequisite: Expectation

Successful marketing is about creating a set of realistic,
believable expectations that can be fulfilled by the offering.
Almost daily we are bombarded by over-hyped, silly direct
marketing Web-advertising that is structured to take advantage
of consumers' weaknesses, their desire to improve, to be the
best they can be, and to gain some measure of satisfaction and
relevance in their lives. Creating false expectations may lead
to a onetime sale but not a long-term client.

Step two: create appropriate, believable expectations that you
can actually fulfill.

The Product: Audience

One way of wrapping your head around this new approach is to
think of your audience as if they were your product; you are
transforming them from unsatisfied browsers to satisfied
evangelists - that's your job. You just don't want to make a
sale you want to make coverts, an army of satisfied consumers
telling everyone they know how great you are. Getting people
onto your emailing list is not good enough; turn them into
believers and proselytizers.

Step three: the product of your marketing is your audience,
turn your website audience into true believers spreading the
gospel of your ability to satisfy.

The Methodology: Experience

Experiences are passed-on and reinforced by the strength of the
story you tell. The Springwise newsletter has a perfect example
of the strength of having a unique and interesting story. Emil
and Magnus Gerbola of Denmark import Italian wine and sell it to
wine bars, restaurants, corporate clients and consumers. But the
experience of buying a bottle of Gerbola Vin is different from
your usual trip to the liquor store. These two brothers, the
sons of an itinerant Italian circus clown have set up shop in an
underground candle-lit bunker built in 1942. What could be
better than sitting with your friends enjoying a bottle of
imported wine and entertaining them with the story of the circus
clown's wine merchant sons operating out of a World War II
bunker.

Step four: enhance your offering with a differentiating story
forming the basis of the unique satisfying experience you offer.

The Stage: The Web

Believe it or not there are still businesses that can't quite
grasp the necessity of using the Web as their marketing
centerpiece. And then there are those that just don't recognize
that the Web is a multimedia platform, and not just a reservoir
of digital brochures and catalogs.

The Web has multiplied the Paradox of Choice, the principle
that the more choices you have, the harder it is to make a
decision. As a consequence, websites must deliver well-crafted
differentiating marketing messages using experience-generating
multimedia Web-techniques.

Step five: the Web is no longer just a dumping ground of random
information; it is a highly sophisticated stage for creating
experiences through the delivery of entertaining, informative,
compelling, and memorable stories.

The Vehicle: Video

There is just no better way to cut through the remoteness and
isolation of the Web than video. And when we talk of video we
are not talking about slide shows of still photos and bulleted
points. Just because it moves doesn't mean it's effective. The
way to tell your story and deliver your message is with a real
person that can express emotion, emphasis, charm, personality
and impact.

Step six: Deliver your marketing message, your unique
differentiating story, your identity and brand through the
clever and sophisticated employment of memorable Web-video.

A Final Thought

If you run a business you're busy and that leads to a
satisficing tendency to over-simplify, to reduce things down to
an elevator pitch, to create meaningless mission statements and
lists of bulleted points delivered by a boring PowerPoint slide
show; unfortunately clients are complicated and business is
complex, but Pine and Gilmore say it clearly in the title of
their book, 'The Experience Economy: Work is Theatre & Every
Business a Stage' or if you prefer just remember what old Will
Shakespeare had to say, "All the world's a stage, And all the
men and women merely players." If you want to be a 'player,' you
have to learn how to effectively communicate with your audience
through the power and impact of experience marketing.

Your annual percentage rate is referenced as your APR. And
lowering your credit APR means more money saved.

Since the rule of thumb is, `A penny saved is a penny earned'
...it is hence necessary to find out the best ways to get your
APR as low as possible. So here are some tips that will help you
with this task...:

* Good credit record – the easiest way for lowering credit APR
is by maintaining a good credit record generally and with the
respective credit card. Have your payments done on time and be
consistent with this particular aspect. The longer you are with
the credit card company and have a great payment record the
better are your chances for lowering credit APR on your card.

* Be relentless – it is vital that you come across as a person
who is both polite and firm with the request. Many credit card
company representatives are conditioned to react to such
requests by postponing your demand for lowering credit APR for
as long as possible. Remember while you will be getting major
savings by the lowering credit APR, the credit card company
would loose that much money.

* Be ready to shift – while most companies would give in, there
are some which do not have the policy to reduce their APR,
though this would be rare. Therefore, you would need to be ready
to move your business if you fail in your negotiations for
lowering credit APR. Do your research well so that you would
shift to a credit card company that genuinely offers lower APR
and does not have any hidden fees or other payment that would
pull extra payment away.

* Develop good negotiating skills – it is important here that
you do not demand the lowering credit APR for your card. Be
persuasive and polite and request for the same. Learn how to
lower APR by negotiation, i.e. by explaining to them that you
are happy to be with them and would hate to leave them – yet,
you are constrained by the better options offered to you by the
other company (ies).

Usually, a credit card company (and any other company as a
matter of fact) would not like to have their clients leave for
their competition and hence, do their best to match the offer.

* Look for competition – today there is a lot of competition in
the market. This will provide you with the best opportunity and
means for lowering credit APR. For people who do not have the
patience to stick with a credit card company for long enough to
create a great impression with them this is how to lower APR
fast.

Check out on the Internet for the best rates that exist in the
market and then pick up the phone and renegotiate the terms with
your credit card provider. If they agree to lowering credit APR
on your card – great. If not, take our business elsewhere.

If you follow the tips and learn how to lower APR, lowering
credit APR can be farily easy. Just hand in there and do your
research and hard work to get the best rates you can!

================== ARTICLE START ==================
I enjoy reading biographies. By learning about the lives of
leaders I am better able to understand the challenges I face
today. History is full of stories about great leaders. What I
have found to be most appealing about leaders that I have
studied is that they believed in a cause and saw all obstacles
as mere inconveniences that would eventually be overcome. While
in the business world these people are today called CEO's, in
the past, these were the people who put their lives on the line
for a cause they believed in. Some of the most obvious of these
leaders were the leaders in the American Civil War.

In the past great leaders believed in the cause.

They did not fight because they had nothing better to do. As a
matter of fact many of the men who took up arms had families at
home, and great jobs bringing in a lot of money, but the cause
was more important than anything else. They walked away from
everything because the reason was good enough; it was worth
laying their life down for. While you may not need to put your
life on the line for your job, you do need this kind of
dedication in order to be a great leader.

The leaders stood in front of the fire. Instead of standing at
the back of formations and sending the soldiers out to fight,
American Civil War leaders were the ones who went out in front
of the soldiers. They were often the first one to take a bullet.
Today things are different, when something goes wrong, usually
someone further down the line loses their job when the leader
blames them for the problem.

With success there is often failure.

The key is to stand up and admit losses. During the Civil War,
General Lee accepted responsibilities for losses throughout the
fight. Today's leaders, however, like to push failures off on
other people instead of standing up tall and accepting their
responsibility.

Show strength in the battlefield.

In the Civil War, General Lee was outnumbered. That did not
cause him instant defeat. Instead he was aggressive and cunning
and was able to often win battles against the Union forces.
These traits are just as important in today's business world. To
be able to survive the competition between companies is
paramount.

Be able to adjust when necessary.

While generally everything that is done in today's business
world has a plan, that plan may change, and you need to be able
to change with it. The same thing happened in the Civil War.
Sure they had battle plans, but when the enemy did something
unexpected, it was important that the leaders quickly adjusted
their tactics to regain the advantage in battle. You must be
able to do the same thing in business. See a problem coming at
you across the field and quickly alter your strategies to be
able to handle what is approaching.

Taking a few cues from the leaders in the American Civil War
will be a boon to anyone who wants to become a better leader.
They had all the skills necessary, taking responsibility,
aggressiveness, improvisation, vision and honesty. While these
are not always the easiest traits to show they are the signs of
a great leader.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Standing between the Eastern and Western tradition, Turkey is
today one of the hotspots of Europe. The Turkish Riviera, also
known as "The Turquoise Coast", encompasses thousands of
kilometers of shoreline, crystal clear waters, and it is
literally strewn with ancient cities, harbors, memorial tombs,
beaches, little coves, lush forests and streams.

Purchasing properties located somewhere along the Turkish
Riviera is becoming an increasingly profitable business with
more and more home owners and real estate investors coming from
around the globe. The combination of a favorable climate, warm
sea, the hospitality of Turkish People, and abundant natural and
archeological points of interest makes this stretch of Turkey's
coastline a popular destination.

One of the most important cities of the Turkish Riviera,
Marmaris, which is on track to becoming one of the top
performing European real estate markets. Marmaris real estate
offices are selling all kinds of property, including villas,
apartments and houses, in addition to commercial properties and
extensive land areas. The sea and sun, nature and history, along
with several top level marinas make Marmaris property appealing
to jet-to-let investors, tourists, and sailing lovers.

But still, what makes Marmaris real estate market such a
potential money spinning investment? The short answer contains
several keywords: price and liberal legal framework on top and
above the setting, beauty, and climate.

The town of Marmaris is located at the meeting place of the
Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea , a harbour surrounded by
pine-clad hills. It is Turkey's most sophisticated and
multi-faceted holiday resort (see
http://www.elpasotravel.net/mar/mares.htm for more information).
This makes Marmaris real estate an inviting world of hotels and
apartments for leisure and business visitors. Marmaris has its
own charm and an exceptional natural beauty, even though its
traditional architecture has been less vividly preserved when
compared to other coastal towns. In addition, Marmaris is a very
popular wintering location for hundreds of cruising boaters and
tourists, also providing regular blue cruise tours, yacht
charters combined with the Greek islands, diving tours and daily
tours to archeological sites. In addition to all travel services
there are also ferry services from Marmaris to the Greek island
of Rhodes.

Considering the natural beauty of the city location, it goes
without saying that yachting and the tourism industry is the
main source of income for Marmaris. In short, we can say that
Marmaris has become "the Sailing Holiday Center of Turkey".

As is usually the case, tourism goes hand in hand with a
flourishing real estate industry, and Marmaris real estate
market is no exception. There are all sorts of Marmaris
properties available, either for sale or for rent, from gorgeous
villas, stone cottages to city central complexes of sunny duplex
apartments. Investors are keen to get the opportunity to
purchase prime development land overlooking beautiful
picturesque areas, such as Orhaniye Bay, where even the famous
Roman Abramovic recently decided to invest.

After starting talks with the EU, Turkey experienced economic
growth, which particularly kick-started a boom in Marmaris
property prices. Even so, the Marmaris real estate market is
comparatively much cheaper than housing markets in Spain,
France, the US and Italy, all of which were formerly much
preferred by jet-to-let investors.

The option to "live and let" is certainly alluring to a lot of
people, thanks to the binary possibility offered: use the
property for some of the year yourself and let it out for the
rest. That makes Marmaris property such a good investment.

The foreign purchase of Marmaris real estate is widely
supported by the Turkish government. The principles governing
the purchase of property by non-Turkish individuals or
companies, established back in 1934 through the Property Law,
were last amended in January 2006, bringing notable changes
especially with regard to size limitations. Essentially, the
Property Law is predicated on a reciprocity clause, allowing
foreigners to buy properties only within municipality and no
more than 25,000 sqm of land, constructed or not. For bigger
land surfaces, the special consent of the Turkish Council of
Ministers is required, which authorised to increase the limit up
to 300,000 sqm per person provided that the foreign national
ownership of real estate does not exceed 5/1000 of land in any
designated province.

Therefore, with such an investor-friendly governmental policy,
it is easy to see why more and more foreign investors have
entered the Marmaris real estate market.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Lucid dream induction is the art of making yourself dream
lucidly. In other words, it's how to consciously start dreaming
or how to "break into" a dream you realize you're having and
take control.

One of the common techniques for inducing lucid dreams is
called MILD, which stands for mnemonic induction of lucid
dreams.

Don't worry, it's easier done than said!

In essence, this is like putting an alarm note in your cell
phone. You're setting yourself a mental note to do something in
the future.

Specifically, whilst you are in a dream state in the future.

Decide that you are going to briefly wake up the next time you
notice you're dreaming. As soon as you wake, recall as much of
the dream as possible. If you're regularly using a journal
already, this should be a reasonably simple thing to do.

Then allow yourself to drift back off into sleep. Dr LaBerge,
who invented this technique, claimed this is the best time to
set your intention for your dream.

As you start to drift, tell yourself something along the lines
of "Next time I'm dreaming, I will actually remember that I am
dreaming". The exact wording you use is a lot less important
than just remembering to tell yourself this, over and over again
as you drift back into a sleeping state.

As you repeat that phrase or mantra, see yourself back in the
dream you've just been having. Or, if nothing is particularly
clear about that dream, another one that you've had recently. If
that doesn't work, visualize yourself as though you're watching
a movie of yourself dreaming.

Don't concentrate too hard, otherwise you'll stop yourself from
going into a dream state and will find yourself wide awake
through too much concentrating. It's far better to fall asleep
during this process than keep yourself awake with it.

Ideally, do the next step whilst you're still in the process of
falling asleep.

See yourself in the dream and notice something that clearly
indicates it is a dream. Anything will do for this: a dragon
wagging its tail whilst cooking a unicorn with its breath would
be exceptionally clear. But its your dream, not mine, so notice
anything that gives you a clear signal that you are in a dream
state.

Say confidently to yourself "I'm dreaming". But continue with
this twilight zone experience and allow yourself to drift
further into the land of slumber.

You can use this process to set the intention of your dream at
the same time if you want to. It's not essential to do this, but
it can help point your dreams in the direction you want them to
follow.

Keep repeating the process of setting your intention of
remembering to notice when you are dreaming and to tell yourself
that you've actually recognized it's a dream when you do notice.
With a little practice, you'll start to become accomplished at
spotting when it's a dream, not reality. You should then be able
to enter a lucid dreaming state almost at will.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
In this day and age there is a lot that people can do to help
keep themselves as healthy as humanly possible. Few people out
there would ever be able to claim that they are in the dark
about what it takes to keep their body running in tip-top shape
and looking great at the same time. Between exercises, a good
diet, health supplements and an overall healthy lifestyle there
are just too many ways to go about taking control of one's own
health for so many people to be considered chronically
overweight and unhealthy.

The Role of Health Supplements

Health supplements should never be used as a replacement for a
good, balanced diet but they are great ways to supplement the
things that you are already doing for your health. These
supplements usually come in the form of a pill although they
have been known to come in other forms as well such as powders
and oils. They can be purchased off of the World Wide Web and
any health foods or health supplements store in your local
neighborhood mall.

These supplements are usually compacted forms of essential
vitamins and minerals that our bodies are in need of every day.
They work just as they would were they part of our meals, but
there is no substitute for a good healthy meal—no matter how
effective a set of health supplements are said to be.

Can Health Supplements Help You?

For centuries, natural ingredients have been used for medicinal
purposes in countries like India, to bring about a healthier,
happier lifestyle. Nowadays, the whole world has awakened to the
advantages of these natural herbs, vitamins, and natural
supplements, which are becoming increasingly popular.

If you have certain problems with your body or areas in which
you would like to improve, health supplements may be able to
help with that. Don't make the mistake of lining up a whole
bunch of bottles of pills and calling yourself healthy because
of it, because that is not the case. On the other hand, if you
have issues with joint health or with memory or you are noticing
that your skin needs help or your hair is starting to
thin—things like these are things that can be made better
(hopefully) with the help of health supplements.

Health supplements will never replace a healthy diet and
lifestyle but there are many supplements out there that can help
to make up for what your lifestyle lacks. If you absolutely hate
fruits or vegetables, then you might be able to benefit from a
Vitamin C supplement. If you stay indoors a lot more than you go
out, a Vitamin E supplement may be something for you to look
into.

Health supplements can help make you a better, healthier you.
If you aren't sure whether or not you should supplement your
diet with these vitamins talk to your doctor or the people at
your local health foods store and get a professional opinion on
what may work the best for you.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
It may fee as though you have no option other than to surrender
your property when facing home repossession. This is not true,
however, as there are options to consider which can help to stop
repossession of you home and save you from eviction.

Repossession is one of the most devastating things that can
happen to a home owner. The very thought of losing your family
home to a lender as a result of a failure to keep up with
mortgage repayments is unpleasant and uncomfortable.
Unfortunately this unfortunate even happens to thousand a people
each year forcing entire families to evict their homes and begin
their lives again.

Once the repossession process is complete the pain of the
experience does not immediately stop. The effects of losing your
home and destroying your credit rating can last for many years
making it difficult to build a new life. While it may seem like
there is no way to stop this terrible experience from occurring
once a possession order has been made, there are options
available.

Firstly, it is important to remember that lenders do not
actually want to repossess properties. It is an expensive and
drawn out process. Lenders are in the business of lending money,
not repossessing properties, and they are usually receptive to
any alternative solutions that can be reasonably offered by the
borrower.

Therefore, your first act in attempting to stop repossession is
to contact your mortgage lender and try to reach an agreement
for paying off your debts while being allowed to keep your home.

A second solution to stop repossession of your home is to
refinance your mortgage and any other debts you may have. Many
finance companies specialize in refinancing loans for applicants
whose properties are at risk.

Another alternative, which is proving popular in modern times,
is to sell your property for cash to any number of companies
that specialize in solutions for stopping repossession.

The sale proceeds can be used to clear up mortgage arrears and
pay off the balance of the mortgage. Such a solution can ensure
that the potential repossession victim is not made homeless and
will have every opportunity to make a fresh start.

Such a solution should also help to ensure that their personal
credit rating is not plundered. This should help ensure that the
recovery process is as quick and painless as possible.

A recent trend that has emerged in the current credit crisis is
for people facing repossession to simply abandon their homes.
Home owners who cannot keep up with their mortgage repayments
are simply handing over the keys to their lenders and
surrendering their property.

This is not an advisable solution as the lender will be forced
to carry out the repossession process as normal and the
borrower's credit rating and personal finances will suffer. All
other alternatives should be exhausted before allowing your home
to be repossessed and sold.

It is possible to stop repossession of your home. The methods
outlines above may prove effective and should be carefully
considered before giving up. Also, this article may not provide
an exhaustive list of alternative solutions. Therefore, if you
are facing the prospect of having your home repossessed you
should conduct extensive research to try and uncover as many
potential solutions as possible. The key to success is to act
fast and do all you can to help salvage the situation.

What was the last email that you forwarded? Viral marketing has
become an unstoppable marketing force for businesses. It is a
technique that uses pre-existing networks as a way to promote
brand awareness, an idea, a product or a service. The term viral
was coined as this marketing technique is something that spreads
rapidly among people by passing something along. It can also be
described as the latest "buzz". When implemented effectively,
viral marketing can rapidly expand a business online.

These are the Top 5 viral marketing characteristics and
techniques:

1. Give away something of value away for free

"Free" is one of the most powerful marketing terms. When
utilizing this concept for you business, consider what you would
be able to give away for "Free". Some of the most common ideas
are free research reports, e-books, e-zines, pages of a book,
free samples, or an email autoresponder course. Each of these
items can be offered for "free" through a variety of means.
Place opt in tools on every page of your website for one or all
of the above. Placement is key- make sure that the opt in
opportunities are easy to locate and easy to fill in. If
possible, use an autoresponder to deliver the "free" material so
that the consumer has it in their hands immediately. If they
like it, the viral potential is that they may forward it through
email to someone else.

Opt in functions should also be placed in your current e-zines,
in your article or blog signature file, in your email signature
file and cross referenced with each marketing tool. For example,
you may offer a "Free" research report within the e-zine that a
customer opted in for on your website. The more links that you
can create between marketing tools and your potential customer
means more opportunities to convert those leads into paying
customers.

2. Provide a way to easily transfer an idea, image or concept
to others

Viruses only spread when they are easy to transmit; otherwise
they stay within their host subject. It is crucial to create a
marketing technique that is easy to forward. HTML emails,
attachments, website links and podcasts are several strategies
that are easy to forward from recipient to recipient. Internet
users will also forward website links of forum posts, articles
and blogs that they find interesting to others.

3. Make it scalable

Your business and website need to have the capability of
handling a large influx of interest if you plan to utilize viral
marketing. For example, if your receive a large interest in a
"free" piece of material that you are advertising, do you have
the technology currently installed to quickly deliver on the
requests? If not, do you know where to search or of a provider
that you could quickly install to fulfill the requests?
Understand this marketing technique before you launch a
campaign, and become familiar with the supportive technology
that you will need to implement the plan as you receive
increased site flow.

4. Exploit the natural instinct and motivation of others

Permission email lists and opt ins are examples of marketing
techniques that exploit people's natural instinct of wanting
things for free. Affiliate programs exploit businesses by
creating a high volume of links from people looking to place
high quality ads on their websites.

5. Utilize current and existing communication methods

When you launch a viral marketing campaign, be sure to leverage
the most up to date internet marketing tools and trends.
Currently instant messenger, blogs, article writing, nanocasts,
podcasts and email autoresponders are the most commonly used
marketing and communication tools on the internet. As a business
owner you will need to become familiar with each of these
techniques and any new techniques that emerge in order to create
the potential for viral marketing.

While viral marketing was launched among traditional
businesses, the launch of the internet created a new medium for
viral marketers and an easier method of material transmission.
By leveraging the above tips, your business will be in a prime
position to create mini and even large scale viral effects when
you produce quality materials for your business.

Have you noticed that it seems that every second person these
days is proudly showing their tattoos. You have the traditional
older guys who have been wearing tattoos for ages as well as
young women and men who have just started on their `tattoo
collection'. The trend seems to be growing so rapidly that new
Tattoo Parlours are opening up almost on a daily basis. It would
be fair to say that today tattoos are more popular than during
the Second World War years when tattoos became the fashion
amongst the armed services.

While it is just great seeing so many people wearing tattoos,
particularly the young tattoo devotees, it is important that the
potential wearer gives the subject some serious thought. It is
imperative that if you are considering getting a tattoo that you
take your time and put some serious thought into which tattoo
design you are going to choose and, importantly, where you
intend to put the tattoo.

A tattoo will become a permanent feature on your body so you
must make absolutely sure that you choose tattoo designs that
are going to look good and suit your own particular lifestyle
and beliefs. You are going to have to be satisfied with your
design and not get bored with it in the future.

Where Do You Source Tattoo Ideas?

There are simply so many different tattoo design options
available that it would be impossible to catalog every one. You
can either choose to go with one that has already been created,
or you can literally start from scratch and design your very own
tattoo. The majority of tattoo studios even allow you to work
one-on-one with the tattoo artist so that together you can
create the perfect design for you.

In my opinion creating your own individual design is the best
option because what you end up having etched on your body will
be personalized with a particular significance and meaning to
you. You will also be less likely to tire of it in the future
compared to a tattoo that has no particular significance other
than you thought it was `cool' when you had the tattoo done.

If, however, you are more interested in finding a design that
has already been created, then you have unlimited options as
there are literally tens of thousands of fantastic websites that
you can visit and browse through their galleries until you find
a tattoo design that you fall in love with.

One top website devoted to creative tattoo designs is Tattoo
Johnny. Their gallery feature some of the world's most popular
and inspiring designs. One of the best features of Tattoo
Johnny's website is it allows you to pay for your chosen designs
and print them off in full size. You can then head off to your
local tattoo studio where they can use that exact print to
produce your tattoo. This means that you will be getting exactly
what you want and know what it is going to look like before you
even venture into the tattoo studio.

Another brilliant online tattoo shop is the Bullseye Tattoo
Company. They are universally regarded as having an incredibly
large and varied selection of tattoo designs available for
purchase and download. Again you can visit their website where
you can browse through literally thousands of original tattoo
designs from a compilation of different well known and creative
artists and then buy and print off the ones that you like best.

So if you are looking to get a tattoo please think long and
hard about the tattoo design you want and a word of warning,
never get a tattoo unless you are one hundred percent sure that
you will love your chosen one forever.

Article Title: Grammar Made Easy And The 80/20 Principle: Less
Stressful And Much More Effective Than The Traditional Approach

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Easy grammar and the 80/20 principle? Is there really a
connection? Not only is it for real, but it's pretty amazing
that it hasn't caught on yet. It's high time that it does
because it can save many people a lot of headaches.

Just in case you don't already know the 80/20 principle from
sales, here's a quick explanation: 20% of most salespeople's
clients account for 80% of their sales. Which means, of course,
that the other 80% percent of their clients aren't paying their
way. The logical consequence: It pays to focus mostly on taking
very good care of the 20% that do. Maybe those customers will
buy even more. And if not, at least the salespeople will have a
bit more free time...

The 80/20 principle doesn't just work for sales, though. When I
learned English (which is my second language), for example, my
favorite word-building book was based on the very same
principle. It had three sections:

1) About 150 words made up at least 10% of all the words in any
average document. They included the basics, such as articles,
conjunctions, most prepositions, and numbers.

2) Another 1,000 or so words, together with the really basic
150 words, covered well over 90% of the words in any average
text.

3) Several thousand more words were divided into subject areas,
so I could study just what I needed. When I wanted to talk about
the weather, I'd look up weather words. When my hypochondria got
the better of me, I studied the medical section. I've been
getting by very nicely ever since.

English has tens of thousands of additional words, of course,
but that's what big dictionaries are for. And how often do you
ever need those?

The same is true for grammar, where the 80/20 principle works
much the same way. With just 20% of the "rules," you can cover
almost all of the territory you'd ever need, at least if you
pick the right 20%.

That seems hard to believe if you look at those grammar books
filled with thousands of obscure little rules, all of them
designed to intimidate. Many of you probably met all those rules
in high school. How many do you remember? Not many, probably.

The traditional approach to grammar is really a factoid-based
trivial pursuit-type approach. It's not very efficient. Compare
how the 80/20 approach covers that territory:

1) There are the basic ingredients and a system to put them
together into sentences.

2) There are a few rules that help you avoid the major
problems, such as agreement errors, weird tense sequences, and
dangling modifiers.

3) There are some nifty techniques to make your sentences more
effective and your prose flow better. Those three make up the
20%.

Beyond that, for the other 80%, you have two options: You could
look up what you need in some big grammar book. Or, and here's
your secret weapon, you could rewrite the sentence. It's your
sentence, after all, and you get to write it any way you want
to. Just pick a way you know how to handle.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
With its incredible diversity, India is a feast for the senses
for people around the world, with its colour, character,
philosophy and organised chaos. All my life I have revelled in
this and considered myself very fortunate to be a part of it.
However, it has made my search for such diversity and vibrancy
elsewhere much harder.

Having planned some time off to travel last year, my wife,
Sophia, and I narrowed the list of places we wanted to visit to
South America or Indonesia; and when a good friend related
fascinating stories from Indonesia, it seemed like a sleeping
giant that the world knew little about so we decided to go and
see it for ourselves.

Consider some of these facts: The largest archipelago in the
world with about 18,000 islands, Indonesia stretches along the
equator for more than 5,000 km. Almost 60% of Indonesia's land
is forested and it has more than 500 volcanoes – 12% of which
are still active! The fourth most heavily populated country in
the world after China, India and the United States with close to
250 million people, comprising some 300 ethnic groups who speak
an estimated 600 languages and dialects.

Part 1 Bali – the island of the Gods!

As a first time visitor to Indonesia, I was excited as well as
a little nervous. It's a massive country, spread over thousands
of kilometres. So like India, yet so unlike India, with its
endless islands forming a chain along the equator.

Indonesia to me was a slightly incomprehensible mix of a
remarkably beautiful tropical paradise and danger; with communal
troubles and civil disturbances, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis,
and earthquakes. During our trip we hoped to find a fascinating
reality that lay between those two opposing themes.

The excitement stemmed also from the fact that we had a month
to spend there exploring these marvellous islands; home to
active volcanoes, spectacular beaches and unique wildlife, like
the Komodo dragon.

We started our trip in the relative comfort of the well
developed tourism infrastructure on the island of Bali. In fact
only thing that was difficult was trying to get a reasonably
priced flight from New Delhi, as we had left it so late!
Everything worked out finally and an uneventful Malaysian
airlines flight later through Kuala Lumpur, we landed in Bali at
Denpasar airport. The landing was spectacular as the plane comes
down close to the white sandy Jimbaran beach; as you fly in, all
you can see is the sea coming closer and closer until a few
seconds before touch down the runway is suddenly visible.

As Indonesia has recently relaxed its visa regime for Indians,
it was possible to get a visa on arrival – as an Indian passport
holder, it is still a novel experience to travel to countries
and get a visa on arrival! Laos, Thailand, Hong Kong
(interestingly enough one needs a visa for China though),
Cambodia and Maldives are a few of the others.

It was a hassle free experience and one can straight away see
the advantages it brings to tourism and business travel. This is
even more important in light of the Indian Tourism Board's
efforts to push a similar proposal through for visitors to
India.

Having pre-arranged some budget accommodation in the nearby
beach town of Sanur, we hired a taxi to get us there. Bali's
excellent tourism infrastructure made it an easy and painless
process, we didn't even need the Indonesian we had been
learning, a language much easier to learn than many.

Bali, appropriately called `the island of the gods' is an
excellent example of the religious and cultural diversity which
exists in Indonesia, and consists predominantly of Hindu
communities. By contrast the island of Java, where the capital
Jakarta is located, is predominantly Muslim and the island of
Flores (where we headed to later in our trip) is mostly
Christian.

The widely spread islands with their mix of peoples, cultures
and religions means that Indonesia has faced a similar problem
to India in terms of language. Bahasa Indonesia is the national
language but interestingly has faced similar challenges in many
parts of the country to that with the adoption of Hindi as the
national language in India. Indeed in Bali, Balinese is widely
spoken.

The Balinese worship the various gods of Hindu mythology and
are all as familiar with the Mahabharatha and the Ramayana as
many Indians are. Each house is in fact considered a minor
temple, adding further to the astounding statistic of some
20,000 temples on this small island of no more than two million
people.

Offerings are made twice daily to the gods of the house and to
the gods honoured in small shrines everywhere. As you drive
around Bali, the sight of women carrying rice-and-flower
offerings on banana leaves is common. Indeed, the word Bali,
dating from the 9th century, means "offering."

Sanur – rather unfairly nicknamed `snore' by us - was a very
sleepy town, that had begun to lose its charm through its
efforts to pander to all kinds of tourists. Our sense of
discovery, lead us to search for the real Bali and we headed to
a small island, Nusa Lembongan, about two hours away by boat.

Nusa Lembongan is one of 3 islands that sit across the Badung
Strait on the Southeast coast of Bali along with Nusa Ceningan &
Nusa Penida. These 3 islands are somewhat impoverished, relying
on seaweed farming, cattle and other low-return activities, with
tourism the brightest light on the horizon. The boat ride across
the Badung Strait was smooth to begin with, but as we had been
warned, the straits are extremely deep and there is always a
large swell in the middle –finely illustrated by the teenage
girl sitting behind us unable to keep her breakfast away from
the fish!

Although we had to get off at the main jetty, we had made up
our minds to make our way to Mushroom Bay, an amazing white sand
beach which we had spotted from the boat. Getting there meant
either taking a small, but expensive, motor boat taxi, or hiking
with our heavy back packs up and downhill for a couple of hours.

Of course, having decided on the water taxi option, we couldn't
find one until a booming Australian drawl asked if he could
help. Indeed he was the owner of the water taxi company who had
been living on Nusa Lembongan for years. Mushroom Bay was every
bit as pretty close up and we booked ourselves into some
Balinese style lodging for a few nights.

Breakfast by the beach is a luxury for anyone and we certainly
indulged at the rather aptly named but predictable Bali Café.
There was a sense of exclusivity to Mushroom Bay which was only
disturbed at about mid-day for a few hours by day trippers from
mainland Bali. We spent that time exploring the island and the
first time around decided to do a walking tour. Incredibly
greenery, and some stunning beaches, were our reward although
after a while the humidity made the walk more of an effort than
we would have liked. And, of course, temples and offerings were
everywhere.

The next day we decided to explore a bit further by hiring a
motor cycle, with my wife bravely (according to her!) agreeing
to ride pillion. The roads were not great and extremely steep in
places, but off we set off. It is hard to lose one's way around
the island and we made it to the other side of the island,
stopping off to admire the views and when stopped by friendly
inquisitive children.

Our plan was to visit the other two neighbouring islands, if
possible, and were told we could drive our bike across a narrow
bridge. The bridge was indeed narrow but what worried us even
more was the approach ramp – a small miscalculation of a few
inches and the probability was that we would miss the bridge and
land in the sea. As not-so-brave adventurers, we decided that I
try it alone without my passenger. Success!

Driving through Nusa Ceningan, it was apparent that the island
was much poorer than Nusa Lembongnan; the difference was
tourism. Residents of Nusa Ceningan survived mostly through sea
weed farming and when the trade wasn't going well they had a
difficult life.

We stopped at a site where there were clearly plans to build a
resort. Most of the structure and layout were in place, but now
had been left to rot. As we were enjoying the views and
thinking, how wonderful it would be to resurrect the resort, and
would it ever be feasible, a man appeared from behind the
buildings and came over. Suddenly worried that we were
trespassing and that there was no other soul in sight, we tried
to apologise and move away. But he was very friendly and told us
about the plans for this place and how it had all gone wrong
when his foreign business partner decided to pull out when
tourism in Bali went into a tailspin after the bomb attacks
several years ago. At last our few phrases of Bahasa Indonesia
had come in useful! That, with English and body language had
helped us communicate.

Having had a relatively quiet and relaxed introduction to
Indonesia we were ready to make our way back to mainland Bali
and get intrepid in pursuit of the Komodo dragon and to see
whales in the remote village of Lamalera, in one of the eastern
most parts of the archipelago.

To be continued…..

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Accountability means being held to account, scrutinized, and
being required to give an account or explanation of your actions
and decisions.

Somewhere in the last half century or so, society as a whole
seemed to forget that there was such a thing as personal
responsibility or personal accountability. Whether
accountability and responsibility disappeared in the rush to
claim the almighty dollar as the most important thing in life or
whether they disappeared along with morality in favour of "the
right of an individual to do whatever they want" is unknown.
What is known, however, is that when individuals no longer felt
that they were responsible for their own actions, society began
to crumble.

Today, when someone does something that they should not do,
instead of being made to face the consequences blame is shifted
to their parents, the environment or the location where they
were raised, their schooling or lack thereof, alcohol, drugs,
the government or some other thing. The individual is never held
accountable. That is pure crap. If the person is not mentally
deficient, then they know the difference between right and
wrong. If they know the difference then they also know if they
do something that they will have to pay the consequences.

It is time that parents, teachers, religious leaders and the
courts start teaching children from an early age that they must
take responsibility for their actions and that they are
accountable for everything that they do. It may be too late to
get adults to realize this, but we can turn things around by
ensuring that future generations understand this basic
requirement for members of a civilized society.

As a former police officer, I find it strangely ironic that
members of the public want to make politicians, public servants
and corporate leaders accountable, but they do not want to have
to be accountable themselves. They want everything these people
do made reportable and examined in every aspect while at the
same time they do not want any of their own actions or
information to be released to anyone under any circumstances.

Well, that just will not work. The only way that accountability
works is when everyone is accountable. And, when everyone is
accountable, then accountability becomes very powerful. People
working for a company will be accountable to ensure that they do
the best job that they can and the company will be accountable
to the government for the taxes and licences they must have, to
their employees to ensure that they provide a good working
environment and good wages and to their share holders for the
money that was invested to create the company in the first
place.

I for one, would be thrilled to know that when I buy stock in a
company that every individual in that company from the CEO down
to the janitor is accountable for doing everything in their
power to make sure that the company performs at peak efficiency.
And, if I was running a business, I would expect that anyone I
hired as an employee would be accountable to me to put all of
their skills, talents, education and effort into the duties they
performed for me every day they were at work. In return, I would
be accountable to my employees to be certain that I provided a
safe workplace, adequate pay and benefits, proper training and
that I would run the company responsibly and in a way that would
ensure that it would be sustainable. That is the power of
accountability, everyone being answerable to everyone else.

Politicians passing laws making business people accountable
while they themselves refuse to be accountable to anyone will
not let the power of accountability work like it should. For
accountability to work, everyone has to be accountable to
someone else.

When I was a child, children were accountable to their parents.
Parents were accountable to their children to ensure that they
had a place to live, clothes to wear and food to eat, The
parents were also accountable to their employer to make sure
that they gave 100 percent or more effort to their duties in
exchange for a pay cheque. Not only did the power of
accountability work well, but it resulted in respect. Employees
respected their employers and the employers respected the
workers. Children respected their parents, their teachers and
authority figures. Most people
respected the law and everyone knew that if they broke the law
that they would be punished for it.

Recently there have been some high profile cases where company
executives have been held accountable for their actions with
respect to illegal things they did in relation to running their
companies. Some have been jailed and others are awaiting their
"day in court." Unfortunately these attempts to make people
accountable have been sporadic at best.

Accountability is powerful because those who acknowledge the
reality of living in a civilized society are able to find
solutions, suitable to everyone, that shape their destiny and
the destiny of society as a whole. Accountability means more
than just doing your job. Accountability must become a component
of the basic skill set of everyone involved in the competitive
enterprise of the future. Accountability cannot and will not
become a part of the skill set of future businesses and their
employees unless and until they are using records management
systems that enable them to conduct their business efficiently
and effectively while at the same time fully and accurately
documenting each and everything they do.

Also, young people we bring into our organizations must be
taught about accountability because most of the time they have
not developed that level of maturity when they first enter the
workforce. To develop accountability in personnel, you must
foster accountability by believing in its power and through your
own actions demonstrate that you yourself are accountable. As
even the greenest of project managers know, without individual
accountability and responsibility, projects will tend to
flounder. And, when projects flounder, the company is in
trouble.

The crisis in accountability becomes particularly acute when it
comes to disclosure of information that is not financial. At a
time when many companies crank out reams of quality data,
customer satisfaction data, employee satisfaction data,
turnaround time data, environmental management data, equal
employment data, charitable giving data, employee treatment data
and other miscellaneous data, they spend too little time
examining how they can use the data for gaining advantages
through both internal and external reporting and public
accountability. All this information sits in storage somewhere
and only comes to light when the company is trying to deflect
criticism. The rest of the time it just sits there gathering
dust. If you have this information, use it. If you do not have
it, why not? People need to see that you are accountable and
proud of it.

One of the root causes of the accountability crisis is that
many company boards of directors do the bidding of the chief
executive, as opposed to having a chief executive who does the
bidding of the board of directors. If the CEO is not
accountable, and the board of directors has abrogated its
responsibility by failing to hold the CEO accountable, then the
company is, for all intents and purposes, out of control.

As members of a civilized society, each of us has a
responsibility to ensure that companies that we work for or hold
shares in do not get out of control. The way we can do this is
by ensuring that we are accountable for everything that we do
and that we hold others accountable for what they should do. In
this way, we can get the power of accountability working for all
of us and the world will be a much better place because of it.

Are you one of those that is still frantically searching to buy
your Wii? The phenomenal growth of Nintendo's Wii has seen a
surge in gamer interaction play like at no other time. But, many
people have found how difficult it was to find one for sale,
especially around Christmas time. There are still reports that
the Wii is still in very short supply.

So the question is,"Where can I find Wii Sales that are in
stock?"

First, let me give you a little insight about the Wii that not
many people are aware of. Where did the name "Wii" come from?
Well, Nintendo decided to market the home game console outside
of Japan without the company name featured in its trademark. The
name Nintendo does not appear on the console. The "W" in Wii
stands for Worldwide and the "ii" characters is meant to
resemble two people standing side by side, representing players
gathering together as well as to represent the console's
controllers. So, Nintendo chose the name Wii because it sounds
like "We" which emphasizes that the game console is for everyone
and is easy to remember.

Okay, now where to find the best Wii Sales?

As we have talked about in the above, the Wii is still in short
supply. Finding one in stock at any brick and mortar store is
still a pretty difficult challenge. There are many places online
that you can find Wii's on sale. Many of these however are used
and when people realized how much in demand they are and the
short supply, they have taken their Wii, played with it awhile
and then put them up for sale because Wii still demands a
premium on the market. In other words, they can use it for a
while and then sell it for a much higher price that they payed
for it and make a profit.

We have found source where one can find Wii sales that offer
brand new, bundled with many extras and full manufacturer
warranties. Some of these Wii systems are bundled with up to 15
extra games, controllers, safety jackets and more. And they are
selling through a very well respected source on the net. So
finding Wii sales is not that difficult. You just have to do
some research and I am sure you can find what you need. We have
searched on the net for our Wii game console. Viewing the Wii
sales at Walmart, Amazon, Yahoo stores, Google and such.

We have found that most stores have Wii consoles on back order.
People are still waiting to purchase their Wii Gaming Systems.
That is how short the supply is and the demand is still huge!
There are other sources where there are literally hundreds of
Wii sales. They are going for very competitive prices and some
can be had for a slight discount. But, keep in mind. Due to the
demand, the Wii Gaming Systems are still commanding a premium
price at almost every location. So good luck in your hunt for
that ever elusive Wii on sale.
