Everyone is looking to grab of piece of the vintage jeans
craze. Not only are we attracted to the comfort and unique style
of these denim classics, but the thrill of the hunt makes
finding them even more special. But before you run off to search
for your next favorite pair of jeans, you should first
understand the time periods of vintage denim. Each era has
unique features that should be matched accordingly with your
modern tastes.

Late 70's and 80's Jeans

We can look back a catch a giggle from some of the outrageous
styles of this time period, but there are also some great retro
looks that can still be incorporated into today's fashion.
Colored and tapered jeans can be used to make extravagant
statements in the club scene, and the high waist look has also
been spotted on some celebrities. For the more extreme fashion
boundaries, acid wash has been making a small comeback in the
punk rock and heavy metal circuits. All of these styles were in
high demand in the early eighties, and their fashion
resurrection has people scrambling through the old clothes in
their closets.

Mid 60's to Late 70's Jeans

For those who are looking for a more natural or "hippie" look,
this era in jeans is the perfect match. The sixties and
seventies produced some of the hippest and most unique fashion
statements of all time. While these trends were eventually
overrun by the new wave scene, their styles have always been
considered timeless and every generation clings on to the core
concepts of this era in some subtle way. Searching for vintage
jeans from the sixties and seventies is significantly more
competitive than searching for more modern fashions. True
vintage pieces in this category are not easy to find, but a
successful acquisition can bring a lifetime of smiles.

Pre 60's Jeans

Prior to the hippie movement, the style and fit of jeans did
not change nearly as much as the way people wore their jeans.
From rolling up the pant legs, to buying off-fitting sizes, the
most creative fashion statements were the unique manipulations
by the owner. In fact, these impressions that each generation
made on jean fashion stimulated the demand for different styles.
People wanted to have more designs to choose from, instead of
more features. Thus, as the fifties progressed into the sixties,
the world of jeans began to see a major overhaul. You can still
find classic denim from the fifties and before, but the fashion
statement is not as effective as other modern eras.

Understanding the type of look you are trying to achieve is
important when shopping for vintage jeans. Each era brings with
its own unique style and story. The key is trying to capture
these elements in a way that suits the modern aspects of your
wardrobe without calling too much attention to the jeans.
Remember that the best outfits define your body and accentuate
your positives. This is where vintage jeans can help by defining
your legs and bottom in a classic style that will grab the
attention of your suitors.

Modern technology makes music more accessible than ever, with a
huge percentage of people now downloading music from the
internet onto their MP3 player. Many people use file sharing
sites to obtain their MP3 player files, but these sites do not
have copyright ownership. This alters the stability and quality
of the product, and can also lead to legal proceedings being
brought against the user. Therefore, the best way to download
music to your audio player is to find a legitimate site.

Online MP3 player downloads from a legitimate site have the
benefit of being licensed by either the record company or the
artist. This means that there is no infringement of copyright
laws and so enables many benefits for the user. Approximately
35% of all MP3 player owners now use this method to download
music files. Of course, licensed MP3 file downloads come with a
price tag but this is minimal when compared with the cost of CDs
and minidisks.

There are two ways of paying for MP3 player downloads. The
first is one off fee or monthly payment that acts as a
subscription. This method enables subscribers to download
unlimited music files to their audio devices, and is cost
effective for any consumer who requires regular use of the
services. The second method of payment entails a pay per
download or burn scenario. This is more cost effective for those
who will use file downloads less frequently. Either payment
method will enable the user to reap the benefits of legitimate
MP3 file downloads.

The main benefits of using a legitimate MP3 player download
site is that the sound quality is the best possible as state of
the art digital recording equipment is used. The download speed
is also excellent, and many download sites have great additional
extras such as MP3 ripping and MP3 tagging services. Licensed
MP3 player files will not corrupt part of the way through, and
so you can be confident in the service received. The licensing
means that the download site will not be closed due to copyright
infringement, which is common amongst file sharing sites. One of
the main benefits of using a legitimate site is that there is
little risk of encountering and picking up a virus. Licensed MP3
player download sites have advanced security measures which are
updated frequently to ensure the best possible product is
received by customers. There is also better privacy guaranteed,
with spyware detected and removed, keeping customers safe from
risk.

Of course there are some disadvantages to be had. Licensed MP3
player download sites have a much smaller selection of music
available than the file sharing sites. There are also very few
licensed mp3 download sites available, so there is little choice
in terms of which service provider you can use. However, the
quality of the sites available is very good, so this should not
be a problem. The cost involved with licensed MP3 player sites
is off putting to many, but overall the advantages of
subscribing outweigh the disadvantages. The licensed site
guarantees a quality product for your audio player, which is
safe for your computer and which follows laws and regulations.
It is fast, accessible and cost effective.

Many MP3 player download sites offer free trials of its product
and services so that you can test the site thoroughly before
committing to any purchase. This involves being able to download
a specified number of MP3 files or being able to use the
services for a set length of time before a payment is required.
To be more informed, read reviews of the sites before trialling
their product as this will save you time.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
The last server edition is Windows or Windows Server 2003,
although Microsoft issued Windows Server 2003 R2 during that
period, it, after all, is not an independent new edition.
Therefore, this incoming issue, Windows Server 2008, sets great
store by Microsoft, and the characteristics related with Windows
Server 2008 are repeatedly reported by the medium. Thereinto,
many characteristics are familiar to most IT experts, but
Windows Server 2008 still has some unbeknown characteristics or
its characteristics are ignored by the majority.

The first thing that I like is Auditpol, Auditpol is a detailed
login tool, which allows users to configure, create, backup and
restore audit strategies in any computer in the company.
Especially in these regulatory compliance years, audit is much
more important than anytime in the past; thereby, Auditpol
probably ends audit application requirement of the third-party,
which includes a greatly patulous list of audit accounts and not
just the simple auditing tools displayed in Windows Server 2003;
moreover, Auditpol even contains hundreds of different
categories. Accordingly, just like what Ralston has said,
Auditpol allow users to "create detailed track of what happens
in the operating system."

The second thing is WinRS, Windows Remote Shell, In order to
connect to the command-line interface of remote computers in
Windows Server 2003, the administrators must use Terminal
Services. The Terminal Services are said to be fine, but the
expansibility is not very good, which should connect to the
control panel of a remote computer. WinRS could create security
connect to any remote computer in necessary moment, and only
needs carry this operation from single control panel. This
brings significant decrease of time cost for administrators.

The third thing is AD RMS, Active Directory Rights Management
Services, In Windows Server 2003, the corresponding function of
AD RMS is Windows Rights Management Services, only as a plug-in
product in Windows Server 2003, which needs additional purchase.
In Windows Server 2008, AD RMS becomes a build-in function,
including some upgrade functions. AD RMS assists to create
access-protected documents, intercept access-protected
information, and ensure that appropriate users have suitable
permission to visit the access-protected data. To Windows Server
2008, some improvements of AD RMS include the capability of AD
RMS management by MMC.

Another is New Password Policy, In the Active Directory (AD),
domain is a security boundary. As an early edition of Windows
Server 2008, the security boundary of Windows Server 2003 is
confined to every domain in possession of one password policy.
This is a comparatively limited measure, so it has been
cancelled in Windows Server 2008. Now the administrators needn't
create a new domain to obtain a new password policy, and they
only set password policy for specific groups or users. If CEO or
CIO of the company wants to strict password policy, it could be
easily realized in Windows Server 2008.

The last thing that I like, it is maybe the most important for
many users, that is Potential Upgrade of Network Speed, Network
carries the responsibility of transferring more and more data.
Since 1995, the size of network data packet sending in one
packet all keeps 64KB, its data transmission flow is 5MB
approximately. Network stack almost rewritten in Windows Server
2008 including a few bran-new technologies, such as: it allows
bigger data packets into network, etc. At the same time, it
could instantaneously change the size of data packets in network
transmission, which makes it more efficient in transmission. The
upper limit of data packet's size has been modified to 512KB;
therefore, it could be transformed into probably 40MB
throughput. In other words, if the network has been correctly
configured and tuning, its speed is eight times of the previous
operation. This is really an exciting improvement.

5 Tips On How To Avoid The Holiday Weight Gain
Uh oh, the holidays are approaching. It wouldn't be so bad
if it weren't for all that good food that's so bad, right?

During the holidays you are thinking about parties, fun and
food, but in the back of your mind you are also thinking
about that dreadful weight gain.

When the holiday season approaches some people just stop
their healthy program and throw in the towel until after
New Years and others starve themselves until they binge.

Life doesn't have to be so demanding. You can enjoy
yourself and still keep your figure. Thanksgiving and
Christmas doesn't have to have a negative impact. The trick
is to keep a balance.

Eat sensibly and exercise. This will prevent excess weight
from creeping up and make your weight-loss resolution that
much easier come January 1st.

Below are some simple steps on how to avoid that 5 to 10
pound holiday weight gain between Thanksgiving and New
Years.

Start before Thanksgiving, not after New Years. Tossing
everything aside and waiting for January is a cop-out.
Accept responsibility, take charge, and make a difference.

Tip 1 - Devise a daily menu and exercise plan. Put it in
writing and hang it where you will see it the most. Also,
hang a copy on your refrigerator. Continue to eat your
regularly scheduled healthy meals, and eat party treats in
moderation. Have protein bars and MRP's handy.

Tip 2 - Eat normally, even if there is an event later. This
will keep your blood sugar stable and prevent overeating
and binging. This does not mean you can't indulge; it just
keeps you in control. If you starve yourself for the party,
you will binge for sure, feel sick, then regret it all
night, making you spiral down the next days.

Tip 3 - When you attend parties or events, start off with
healthy choices and snacks. Such as fruit, veggies, salads,
and meat. You won't be inclined to indulge in the sugar
goodies as fast. Notice I didn't say you can't have the
sweet treats, they are perfectly fine during this time, if
they are kept in moderation and eaten last.

Tip 4 - Drink water or diet sodas at gatherings and limit
the alcohol. A drink or two is fine, but if you want to
remain fit, it's best to limit them. Red wine would be the
best choice for an alcoholic beverage.

Tip 5 - Exercise every day, even if you can only get 10
minutes in. However, don't opt for just a mere 10 minutes
if you have time to get a full 20 to 30 minutes in. The
point is that some exercise is far better than no exercise.

The above are basic guidelines to help keep you on track
during the toughest months in the year. Good luck and Happy
Holidays!

Covered-up Weight-Loss Lies
I'm tired of the lies in the health and fitness industry.

Over half the population is on a diet or actively
exercising, yet over three quarters of the population is
overweight.

Why has being overweight accelerated into obesity? Why is
obesity now a disease? Why is it that the more people
diet and exercise the fatter and more unhealthy they become?

What is going on? What is missing from the equation that
you are NOT being told?

What diet, nutrition, and exercise advice are you
following? Is it effective?

Did your last "fitness program":

Drain your energy

Starve you Stress you out

Depress you

Cause binges

Cause a loss of strength

Create weight gain when you completed it

If you answered "yes" to any of the above...

Surprise! You're not alone!

You see, it's not what you are doing wrong it's what you
are not being told about how to lose fat and how to keep
fat off.

Sure, there are external factors that affect our weight
such as:

In activity

Long work hours

Eating out frequently

Consuming larger portions

But these are the easy dilemmas to correct.

What I like to uncover are the issues that are NOT being
told.

What are some hidden factors that contribute to accelerated
fat gain?

Would it surprise you to know that those beautifully packed
meals in boxes labeled "healthy," or "low-fat," or
"carb-free," etc. actually contribute to weight gain?

Would you find it shocking that cutting and/or eliminating
fat from your diet will increase weight gain?

Would you be stunned that elements you may not even be
aware of cause weight gain, and further more those elements
are not even being mentioned to you?

I'm telling you right now you don't have to be a victim of
weight loss any more.

You can have the truth about weight loss and how to
permanently keep it off without starving yourself, without
cutting the fat out your food so it's like eating wood,
without cutting the carbs and feeling light-headed, without
eating popular weight-loss clinic's boxed foods, etc.

You can have that freedom you always wanted.

You can have your control back.

You can eat real food, carbs, and fat and still lose weight!

What I can teach you is what foods to eat, when to eat
them, and how to group them so you can have that fat-loss
advantage.

Remember, it's all about going back to the basics and
feeding your body in a fashion that it's allowed to burn
fat. When you give your body the fat-loss permission,
it'll burn fat like a furnace.

Before you start any major project, it's important to have all
the proper tools and materials that you will need. Along with
having the right tools, you also need to understand their
purpose and the basics of how to use them safely. In this
article, we'll cover some standard tools you will need for most
kitchen remodeling projects along with a few critical safety
tips.

Tile-Cutter/Tile Saw

A tile cutter or tile saw is basically a tool that allows you
to safely cut tiling. Whether you are putting in a new
backsplash or redoing the floors, this is an invaluable tool
that will be essential to your project.

A tile saw uses a water-cooled diamond blade to make extremely
precise cuts through thick tiles. Be careful when using this
power tool and always wear safety glasses to protect your eyes
against flying pieces of tile.

Jigsaw

A jigsaw is an extremely versatile hand-saw that's great for
jobs like cutting out sink holes on laminate counter tops. Most
home renovators opt for the flexibility and mobility that a
cordless version offers, but you can save money and get more
power with corded options. Look for a jigsaw with a variable
speed option that will allow you to adjust the speed of the
blade depending on your project.

Safety Gear

No job site is complete without safety gear. You should always
have full eye protection, ear covers for noisy environments,
ventilation masks, a hard hat to protect your head, work boots,
gloves for both sharp and hazardous materials and a first aid
kit. Many people take safety for granted when doing home
renovations, feeling a false sense of security since the work is
at home and not a large construction site. That, though, is
where the danger lies. So it is not enough to simply have safety
gear on hand - it is also critical to use them!

Router

A router is one of the most versatile tools you'll ever use and
it comes in handy when you're working with cabinetry or
countertops. A router is simply a cutting device attached to a
vertical motor. It lets you work with complex joinery like dowel
joints or dovetails; it can shave off that extra ¾ of an inch of
countertop and it is strong enough to cut plastic, laminate, MDF
and lots more.

Wrench Set

A good wrench set is going to get you through most of your
plumbing needs. Look for one that feels comfortable in your
hands but still gives you a feeling of weight and power.

Finally, you're going to need a lot more tools to complete a
kitchen remodeling project – band saws, drills and sanders could
all be needed along with hand items like putty knives, trowels
and a tape measure. But, these are the basics. To save money,
you can rent most power tools from your local hardware store.
With programs that allow you to rent tools by the hour or the
month, this can be a great option for home renovators looking to
save some money.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Motion sickness, including being airsick, is a feeling of
nausea brought on by the movement of something in which you are
situated, whether it is a plane, a car, a boat, or even riding
on a horse. Airsickness is fairly common, especially for people
who infrequently fly. When you are in an airplane, you can feel
the "bumps" and up and down motion of the air turbulence which
some people simply can't handle well.

There are other symptoms of airsickness in addition to the most
obvious, vomiting. For instance, you may feel a loss of appetite
or upset stomach first, followed by vertigo, which is a sense of
dizziness. You also may also start burping a lot or have
increased salivation and need for swallowing. Finally, your
palms and forehead start to become flushed and sweaty, and
experience a warmth throughout your body. Eventually if you
can't overcome the airsickness you may start to vomit, after
which (surprisingly) you will likely feel better for a while.

Airsickness isn't a medical condition that some people have and
others don't. Rather, it is just a normal response to motion
that negatively affects some people more than others. (We all
know those people who can climb onto a carnival ride that spins
multiple directions while weaving the cart in and out, and
hanging you upside down - all the while having the time of their
lives. You, on the other hand, feel queasy simply watching
someone else on that same ride.)

Airsickness is a matter of not seeing what you feel, so to
speak. Usually, your five senses are all in sync. But not so in
the case of motion sickness. For example, if you are reading on
a plane, your eyes are still. Then you go over a bump, and while
your eyes stay on the book, the rest of your body moves, which
causes a "conflict" in the senses. That is the sensation that
causes airsickness.

There are simple means of avoiding airsickness. If you already
know you are prone to motion sickness in a car or on a boat, you
should follow these recommendations when planning to fly.

First, try to avoid stress or anxiety. The more anxiety you
internalize, the more prone to becoming airsick. You should also
try to eat only light meals before you fly. That includes
snacking on crackers, a small sandwich, or anything that
normally helps to settle your stomach. While you are on the
aircraft at any altitude after takeoff, avoid walking around
until the airplane is stabilized. If while you are standing the
flight becomes rocky, sit down in your seat as quickly as you
can; the pilot will request that of all passengers anyway.

Finally, technological advances have produced patches and pills
you can take beforehand to help avoid becoming airsick. The
patches are placed right behind your ear to keep your senses
synchronized, and the medication can be prescribed by your
doctor for relaxation. It is all a matter of adjusting your body
to accommodate the movement and avoid the "mix up" among your
senses.

If, in the end, you do become airsick during your flight, the
good news is that you should be fine within a short time after
de-boarding the plane.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Given the ratio of the internet, and given the fact that so
many people in the business world use it to further their goals
and ambitions, it is shocking how so many people still have
issues with using the internet appropriately. Search engine
optimization is one powerful tool that many people use when they
are looking to increase the level of relevant traffic to their
website, but remember, that like any tool, its efficiency
depends on the employer. Take a look at a few of the reasons why
so many SEO campaigns falter and fall, and often are unable to
rise again.

Bad keywords are one of the first culprits. Look at the text on
your website and really think about whether it reflects your
company. Will the people who are searching for your services
know to use those terms? Bad keywords can work in two different
directions. Firstly the keywords are too specific. They are only
understood by other professionals in your field, and someone who
isn't aware of the ins and outs of your business would never
think to search for them. Over-generalization is similarly a
concern. With keywords that are too generic, you will simply
bring irrelevant people to your site who have no actual interest
in what you have to offer.

SEO also means that you have to take into account the format of
your page. Are things placed in a logical way that will draw
people? Have you made sure that your page has enough content to
draw people to it? Part of good page optimization is ensuring
that your website has a good place when it comes to link
building. The more people who link to you without you offering a
reciprocal link, the better your rating goes. Link building is
one aspect that the Google search engine uses to push you
towards the top of your search page, so make sure that you don't
ignore it when you are thinking about optimization and content.

Some companies who try to avoid these mistakes contract with
SEO consultants, but even there they might find that they are
working with someone who uses illegitimate means to bulk up your
numbers. Some warning signs include multiple names, the
ownership of shadow domains and a guarantee of rankings through
obscure keyword phrases that you would have gotten anyway.
Beware of companies that give you a strange feeling or refuse to
explain how your website would be getting the hits. Although
there are many of them, the concepts relating to SEO are fairly
straightforward, so if you catch someone being secretive, make
sure you find out why.

When you are looking to conduct an SEO campaign, unless you are
a specialist in the field yourself, you should consider
consulting with a professional. A professional who cares about
his or her work and is dedicated to making your site a success
can easily save you from the blunders that could cost you in
time, resources and money which is important to any business.

Wine And Chocolate

================== ARTICLE START ==================
There's now good evidence that it's not just in fruits and
vegetables that health promoting anti-oxidant flavonoids are to
be found. These powerful compounds have also been identified in
tea, particularly green tea, red wine, beer and even chocolate.
So if you've ever suspected that many of those who advocate
healthy diets are motivated more by denying you your little
pleasures than a genuine interest in your well being, now may be
the time to take a little revenge.

Flavonoids occur widely in fruits and vegetables and their
principal function appears to be to protect these plants from
disease and the damage which may be caused to them by extremes
of light or heat. It has long been suspected, however, that the
well established health protecting and curative properties of
the many plants commonly used in folk remedies for humans may
also be due to flavonoids. And there is now abundant evidence
to support the idea that certain flavonoids, particularly those
of the polyphenol type, possess potent anti-inflammatory and
anti-oxidant properties.

Two of the biggest premature killers in the affluent Western
world, as well as major causes of disability and early loss of
independence, are stroke and heart disease. Both frequently
follow on the development of the cardiovascular disease,
atherosclerosis, otherwise known as hardening of the arteries,
and it is known that the oxidation of low density lipids (LDL),
the blood fats known as "bad cholesterol", is one of the major
causes of this condition. The prevention of LDL oxidation is
one of the key functions of vitamin E, the body's most important
fat-soluble anti-oxidant, but anti-oxidant flavonoids are also
known to play a role.

Consistent research findings confirming this benefit of
flavonoid anti-oxidants have led successive governments and
health agencies to urge the public to consume at least five
daily servings of fresh fruits and vegetables, and the evidence
indeed suggests that such high flavonoid diets are linked to a
reduced risk of heart disease and perhaps even some cancers.

But it's not just the flavonoids in fruits and vegetables that
may have these effects. Much attention, for example, has
recently been paid to the so-called "French Paradox", whereby
France boasts a surprisingly low rate of heart disease and
related conditions, given the preponderance of saturated animal
fat in its national diet. There has been much speculation that
the low rate of this disease, by the standards of advanced
Western nations, may be linked with relatively high consumption
of red wine, and analysis of the anti-oxidants in this drink,
also found in red grape juice, suggests that the theory may have
some substance.

And at least one major study has suggested that the incidence
of stroke is substantially reduced in older people, otherwise a
very high risk group for this illness, who regularly drink
substantial quantities of tea, which is also rich in
anti-oxidant polyphenols, but whose diet tends to be low in
fresh fruits and vegetables.

As well as red wine and tea, there is now also evidence that
anti-oxidant flavonoids may be found in beer and even chocolate.
But in fact this is not as surprising as it may at first
appear. The coca beans which are the primary ingredient of
chocolate are a good source of polyphenols, and were known to
ancient civilisations for their medicinal properties. Broadly
speaking, the darker the chocolate the richer it will be in the
particular flavonoids derived from the beans, which are powerful
anti-oxidant agents not commonly found elsewhere.

The latest research seems to offer good evidence that the
flavonoids particular to dark chocolate (procyanidins) may have
a useful role in helping to prevent the oxidation of the LDL,
"bad cholesterol", which is, as noted above, a key precursor of
serious cardiovascular disease. Procyanidins also appear to
work closely with vitamin E, the body's most important
fat-soluble anti-oxidant, sparing the vitamin to work more
effectively, and may also help to prevent excessive clotting or
"stickiness" of the blood. Procyanidins are readily absorbed by
the body following the consumption of dark chocolate and appear
to have a significant overall anti-oxidant effect in the
cardiovascular system.

But of course it's not all good news. You'll be only too well
aware of the health reasons why it would be unwise to rely on
tea, red wine, beer or chocolate as your principal sources of
dietary anti-oxidant flavonoids. De-caffeinated teas are
available, however, and dark chocolate is relatively low in
sugar and fat; whilst all the evidence suggests that moderate
consumption of alcohol may protect against a variety of
conditions, including heart disease. Red wine, in particular,
is rich in the anti-oxidant flavonoids which appear to offer
significantly enhanced protection.

As always, the key is balance; and in the context of an
otherwise healthy diet, particularly one rich in fruit and
vegetables, there is no reason why these highly enjoyable luxury
foods and beverages should not make an important contribution to
your overall level of anti-oxidant intake.

Interesting Ways to Display Your Favorite Photos
Photos of family and friends add warmth and personality to
our homes. The more public the photo display, the more
creative you need to be to exhibit your treasures.

Every home has some wall space that can be converted into
an attractive photo display. Most people view their photos
as priceless memories, so why not display them as works of
art...create a gallery to show case your family and friends.

-Decide on what pictures you want to display. The
pictures need to be close up and clear otherwise the
gallery will not be sharp. -Create a theme - family
vacation or a special holiday. You can update your
pictures on a yearly basis...have a photo gallery party
each year.

-Mixing frames of different styles and sizes can be fun,
but it does take some planning. Find a consistent theme of
color or type of wood to balance out the different shapes
and styles...the photos need to take center stage, not the
frames.

-Lay the framed photos on a tabletop or the floor and
rearrange until you find a workable arrangement. Start with
the largest pictures first and surround them with smaller
photos.

-Find a friend or family member to help when measuring and
preparing to mount on the wall. Have your leveler ready to
be sure that a picture that looks straight actually is
straight.

Other ideas:

Older photographs add character to your home. If you have
a favorite old photo that's fading, or has been damaged or
crinkled through the years, take it to a photo shop to have
it restored and reprinted. You might even be able to do
this yourself at home with photo imaging software. You
might want to consider adding a special effect, enlarging
or cropping the photo differently to add a new perspective
to a familiar photo.

Great places to display your favorite photos on tabletops,
desktops, bookshelves, and your family entertainment wall
unit. I received a gift of an oak wood dressing screen
that contained space for nine large 8x10 photos...what a
wonderful display for my children's pictures.

Transfer a favorite photo onto a pillowcase or wall
hanging. Photo collages of friends or family members make
great placemats. Simply arrange and laminate.

Individual laminated photos can be affixed to magnets to
put on the refrigerator and other metal surfaces in your
home.

For the special occasion, create a photo quilt. Photos
can be transferred onto fabric easily. The quilt will
need to be hand washed, but what a treasure to give someone
as a gift.

Finally, for all those special pictures that don't make the
home display, create your own scrapbook and add your
stories around the photos.

Be a Food Shopping Organizer
Have you ever gone shopping and then at home you realized
that you forgot something. This happens ever day by
thousands of people so you are not alone. Did you forget
to take your coupons or didn't give them to the cashier at
checkout?

It's now time to focus your organizational skills on your
grocery shopping and keep the money in your pocket. Here
are ideas to support you on this road.

Planning your food shopping trips

-Start by collecting the flyers from the supermarkets you
normally shop at. By checking your flyers first you see
what is on sale and then you can create your weekly meals
to include the sale items. For example, if chicken is on
sale, chicken will be on the menu this week. If you love
salmon and it's on sale...then treat yourself without
breaking the bank.

-Coupons - start collecting them from newspapers or even
download them from the internet and add more savings to
your grocery budget.

-Create a system to keep your coupons organized. Purchase
a coupon organizer to house all those great deals. Though
only keep coupons for those products that you actually use.
Sometimes even with a brand name product coupon it's
still cheaper to purchase the store brand. If you are
going to buy the brand name anyway, then definitely take
the savings.

-On the day you are organizing your shopping list, check
the expiration date of your coupons. In my coupon
organizer, I have a section that says, "expiring soon."
Depending on how often you shop, this can be within a week,
two weeks or a month. You go there first to stock up on
your favorite foods or household products...don't want to
lose those savings.

Get into the habit of planning your meals out each week.
Choose a day of the week to do your shopping and stick to
it. The day before is when you organize your menus.

-Once you've completed your menu, you can create your
shopping list.

-It's also important to take a current inventory of your
pantry and add any staples that are running low.

-Keep a shopping list posted to your bulletin board or
refrigerator where each family member can let you know what
food or product is out or almost empty.

-Create a shopping list that is similar to the layout of
your store. If there are several stores that you go to,
then you will need to organize your list by store.

-The internet has free shopping lists, though I find
creating on the computer your own customized list works
fine. Create three columns: one for the product, one for
whether it's on sale and the last column to indicate if you
have a coupon.

-Attached your coupons and any ads to your shopping
list....in case there are discrepancies in the store.

-Bring a calculator to keep track of your bill...don't want
to be surprised at the register.

Hint: Stores are set up that your milk and bread are in
the back...so you have to pass many other products before
getting there. How many times have you gone in for just
milk and impulsively bought something else and you paid the
full price. Weekly planning will keep you focused on the
sales and savings.

You are now organized: flyers, coupons, menus and shopping
list. If you are just starting the "organized" path of
food shopping, it will seem like a lot of work. After a
few weeks, you will become more efficient and the process
will not take as long.

If you really want to motivate yourself, keep a log of the
amount you saved each week. If your budget allows, treat
yourself to something special with your savings.

Have fun shopping!

If you want to protect yourself and your family without going
broke, you will need to be pro-active when it comes to health
care. Despite the extremely high cost of most medical care,
access to free or discounted care is there for those willing to
make a small effort to find it. Here are 6 tips to get you
started.

1) Rx Discount Program - Prescription costs can be reduced
substantially without buying insurance. There are discount
purchasing groups that allow you to join them and receive their
negotiated pricing on most prescription medications. One such
group is UNA. There is no obligation or fee to register and it
takes less than a minute to receive a personalized printable
discount card which you simply bring to your druggist. He will
save your discount group # in your file and you will then
receive a reduced group price on all covered prescriptions.
Discounts can be as much as 75% on some prescriptions but
average 30%. Go to superrxcard.com and print your free card in
less than 10 seconds .There are no gimmicks attached to this one
and over 57,000 pharmacies participate in this group. According
to Wellness.com - April 2006: "Hands down, the finest
prescription assistance program in the United States…"

2) Free Medical Q&A - Informational resources are abundant and
free. If you have symptoms you want to confidentially discuss
with a real doctor or if you want to research any disease or
medication, here are a few good resources: webmd.com,
afraidtoask.com and yournetdoctor.com .

3) Doctor and Hospital Ratings - before you select a doctor or
hospital for surgery, you might want to know if you are making
the right choice. There are research groups that independently
research doctors and hospitals and rate them based on criteria
which are designed to determine whether they have met the
nationally recognized standards for excellence. One such group
has made their data base of research on over 600,000 doctors and
hospitals available to the public. Got to: healthgrades.com to
see how your doctor and hospital rate.

4) Health Insurance - Given up on buying health insurance? Do a
little more research. There might possibly be some good coverage
available that is within your budget. Try insureme.com or
healthinsuranceinfo.net before throwing in the towel.

5) Free Eyeglasses - If you are a student or have children and
cannot afford eyeglasses for them, there is a program available
that may qualify you for a free eye examination and free
glasses. To see if you qualify, go to: sightforstudents.org and
apply.

6) Free Medical and Dental Clinics - Nearly every zip code has
a medical facility nearby that will give anyone, without
insurance or money, medical care. Most of these receive $ aid
from governmental agencies or charitable organizations. How do I
locate one? Just call any doctor or medical facility and ask
them or visit ask.hrsa.gov/pc/ . This web page will allow you to
search for a clinic by zip code that will give you medical care,
even if you do not have insurance or money. Another site that
will help you locate free medical care is freemedicalcamp.com

================== ARTICLE START ==================
When people think of the money they are going to spend as they
head out to a vacation, normally they view their airline tickets
as the greatest cost. However, it doesn't have to be that way.
There are a few key insider tips you should be aware of so to
help save money the next time you purchase airline tickets.

The best way to save money on tickets is to do a little
planning and research via the Internet. You should first be
aware that the earlier on the calendar you purchase your
tickets, the more money you almost invariably save. Buying a
ticket within the 14 days prior to your trip is pretty much
guaranteed to cost you a ton of money. So, plan quickly once you
know you are going to go on vacation and have locked in specific
dates.

If you do not intend to book reservations through a travel
agency, then you should check each airline individually that
flies out of your city. That way, not only can you compare
prices, but you can also do the same with dates and times.
Simply changing from one day to the next or the day before can
literally save hundreds of dollars. So, as you are looking, try
to be at least a little flexible with your flight dates.

When you do travel by plane, sign up for frequent flier miles.
Even if you do not fly very often, the mileage adds up, and
eventually you will earn a free - or at least a discounted -
ticket. Another money saving tip is to ask whether the airline
offers student or senior citizen discounts, depending on your
age and those of family members.

Since normally the busiest day of the week to fly is on a
Monday, look at promotions that depart on other days such as
Saturdays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, which are usually the least
expensive. You may see promos on television that will alert you
to this as well, so keep an eye out if you plan to make
reservations in the near future.

Flying at off peak hours is also a great way to save money. The
flights early in the morning around 8:00 am are always booked up
so people can get a jump on their day. However, if you can fly
even earlier - like around 6:00 am - you can typically decrease
the price of your flight by a sizable amount. People simply
don't want to get to the airport that early, so airlines offer
discounts for early takeoffs to entice you in.

Overnight flights are also less expensive. These are called
"red eye" flights and are considerably less money than those at
other times in the earlier part of the evening. Plus you gain
the benefit of flying with less people. If you are one of those
who is able to sleep during a flight, all the better!

Additionally, you will frequently gain a savings by booking a
flight that has one or two stops along the way. Try, though, to
limit these to relatively brief layovers, especially if you are
traveling with others. You don't want to sour your vacation with
too much time stuck at an airport.

Finally, it is important not to book the first open flight you
see. It pays to do the research and look at each airline and
their flight times to and from your destination. If you are
serious about saving money, then by following these tips you
will be able to do so.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
As a college student who pinches pennies and studies hard all
year, you have earned a break - especially after the long, dark
and harsh winter that was piled high with exams, mid-term papers
and snow. So, why not take a cruise this year?

Typically, most students choose standard "Spring break hot
spots" to visit, like Daytona Beach, Cancun in Mexico, South
Beach or even Panama City. Granted, all these cities have
buzzing night lives, sunny weather and expanses of beach. But,
they're also overcrowded and overdone. Spring break cruising is
a great way to enjoy an all-inclusive holiday, hit multiple
beaches on one trip, see more of the world and always be just
"steps" from your hotel.

Most students might think of a cruise as something only for the
elderly, the newlywed or families full of kids. But, as the
market of young cruise travelers grows, cruise ship companies
are responding with cruise vacations that are tailored
specifically toward young adults and students who are looking to
have fun and enjoy themselves during a break from schoolwork.

That said, to find the right cruise ship vacation -
particularly one geared toward the "Spring break" market, you
will need to do some research. Don't worry, this research will
be a lot more fun than the eighteen hours you spent in the
library for your psychology thesis! The cruise line market has
exploded during the past couple of decades, so the options are
plentiful and the availability of their information is easily
obtained on the Internet.

Start by looking at individual cruise lines and the homepage of
their web sites. Are they geared toward seniors? Do they mostly
advertise family vacations? Typically, a cruise line like Disney
is going to offer exclusively family-oriented cruises.
Meanwhile, other cruise lines like Celebrity Cruises, Costa
Cruises and Oceania tend to offer youth-driven or adults-only
cruises.

You will also want to review what some cruise lines consider to
be the "adult age." Some lines require that all passengers under
21 be accompanied by an adult over the age of 25, while other
cruise lines require one adult for ever five minors, and others
consider everyone over the age of 18 to be an adult. For
example, Carnival Cruises typically requires every unmarried
guest under the age of 25 to be sharing a room with an adult
over the age of 25.

You also need to check the cruise ships' alcohol policies. Some
cruises allow a drinking age-of-majority of 18, while others are
stricter and enforce a 21 and up policy only. The drinking age
can also depend on the departing port, what port you're docked
in and the flag that your boat is flying. Be sure to verify all
this before you book your trip, especially if you're under 21.

Overall, some of the best youth-drive cruises are those
tailored toward adventure travelers. A boat that offers lots of
shore excursions that are active - like scuba diving, rock
climbing, parachuting and other extreme sports - is more likely
to attract an adventurous, fun-loving and young crowd.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Applying for college is a difficult, but rewarding process. You
must make many tough decisions and budget your time wisely.
Without preparing carefully and adhering to your plan, you may
find yourself lost in a storm of forms, requirements, fees, and
deadlines. However, with a solid plan and a little confidence,
you can breeze through the application process and step into
your new life as a college student.

Check out these tips to get you on your way to college.

Select Your Options

Applying to either too many or too few colleges and
universities can be a tactical error. A good number to shoot for
is between 5 and 8. Choose a few schools in which you are at
least 90% sure you will be accepted, just to be safe. Think
about your skills and try to locate colleges that focus in these
areas. Also, select one or two schools for which you have a
preference but believe your chances are somewhat less of being
accepted. Then make an attempt to take a campus tour at the
schools you are considering to make sure you like them.

When applying to a small variety of schools, you maximize your
likelihood of being accepted without over-burdening yourself in
the pursuit of too many simultaneously. By investigating only a
few, but those with a range of possibilities of acceptance, you
afford yourself the best chance with the least wasted time,
effort, and money.

Plan Ahead

Few of us have the ability to make an overnight decision on a
college. Everything from your first elective classes to sports
and your overall academic performance go into your decision. If
you plan to attend college at all, then your entire high school
career has been preparation toward that goal.

Two essential items you need for adequate organization are a
calendar with all your deadlines and a checklist of everything
you need to do, in sequential order. Some schools provide these
materials to applicants, but the initiative must be yours.

Most high schools have counselors who can help you apply to
colleges and meet the deadlines for applications. If there are
exams you need to take in advance, schedule them well ahead of
time before the applications are due. Most college or university
applications require you to obtain letters of recommendation,
often from teachers. Allow those people sufficient time to write
these letters well, bearing in mind they will likely receive the
same request from other students.

It may seem tedious, but all the careful planning will pay off
after you have sent out your applications early and have some
time to spare while your friends scramble to get theirs in.
There will be plenty more to plan once you are accepted, so
doing this work expediently is all to your advantage.

By accomplishing everything you need according to a strict
timetable, you will rarely be over-worked and rushed, and always
sending out the highest quality applications. (That, by the way,
is a good planning policy for handling your class assignments
once you are in college.)

The Application and its Components

Every application for college is a little different, but most
contain many of the same components. Each starts with a long
form of basic questions about yourself and includes a request
for your high school transcript, the list of your grades and
classes you completed. The results of your SAT scores and/or
other tests will also be passed on with your application. One of
the most important sections of the application is your essay,
which most schools require. Be careful to leave enough time to
write each essay with a high quality level. Sometimes you can
use the same essay, slightly modified, for many applications.

If you are careful and stick to your plan, the daunting task of
applying for college can be completed with minimal stress. The
application process itself is, in a way, a preparation for what
college will be like - careful planning and hard work.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
There is absolutely no doubt that online advertisement has
witnessed some explosion in growth in the last few years due to
the increasing number of businesses that are going to the
internet. And this has not abated but continues to show strong
growth. At the onset of this realization yahoo took over what
used to be known as Overture who was the original inventor of
the use of the P4P or Pay for Performance. Overture had seen
that the internet was swiftly and steadily becoming the easiest
and most convenient way to shop, and as a result online
advertising would hit big because of the increasing volume of
the players.

It is generally known that for you to get anybody to your site
among many thousands of other websites, your site must be very
visible. Therefore, any ads that could assist you in directing
potential consumers and costumers to your site would surely
increase the traffic to your site with the resultant increase in
sales. This is where Yahoo comes in. Their service makes it
possible for any company ads to be displayed when certain
keywords are inputted. Thus, any company wishing to increase to
its site could take advantage of these services provided by
Yahoo. It is needless to state doing this will make your site
and the products therein to be displayed to many more eyeballs
thereby significantly increasing your chances of making sales.
In fact, if you are able to optimize your website to convert
reasonable number of visitors to your site in a consistent
manner it could make a steady substantial income.

The importance of these services to any business cannot be
overemphasized as getting substantial traffic to your site is
the life wire of any online business and must therefore remain
your goal and in which you must invest enough resources and
energy. Of course, there are several methods of achieving this
goal of raising awareness about your products in order to boost
your sakes. Some of these are free many more others cost some
financial commitment. You should not shy away from committing
money to your advertising as it is worth repeating that traffic
is the life blood of your business.

So how does this work? The principle is basically the same as
that of Google's Adwords. This is because keywords and keyword
phrase searches are used in order to determine which ads to show
per search. Therefore, when a person inputs a keyword or keyword
phrase to search for anything, the results are displayed in a
page by the search engines. You will then, at the right side of
the page, see some selected ads that have paid for their ads to
be displayed when certain keywords and keyword phrases are
searched.

Take for instance, that you deal in motor cycles and their
spare parts and have constructed a website to market your
business. You choose keywords that you believe potential
customers will use to search for the products that you market.
When those keywords are used in search engines, it prompts or
triggers your ads to be displayed. For example, when a search
engine user types in Yamaha cycle, your ad may come up if you
have designated that as one of your keywords.

This gives you the opportunity of being found whenever your
prescribed keywords are inputted in the search engines and
therefore boosts the chance that your ad is clicked upon. Doing
this will consistently drive traffic to your site faster with
all the attendant benefits that will accrue to your business.
Further, your ads could also be displayed on third party sites
that deal mostly in your niche or even products and because this
is highly targeted your products stand better chance of being
purchased.

However, it has to be emphasized that you must be ready to
expend some cash when using their service and this is not much.
Yahoo charges in different ways ranging from the number of
Keywords or Keyword phrases in your ad to the many times your ad
is clicked on. Others options could include having your ad show
up not only in the search engine pages but also with some third
party sites.

The competition on the internet is becoming fiercer by the day
and this makes it almost necessary for you to make a huge leap
forward from the pack by advertising. You can start by taking
advantage of the services of Yahoo/Overture as many have
utilized their services and have reaped the rewards of this
decision. Remember, it takes money to make money, while you
could chose to use some methods that are basically low cost or
free, is nonetheless true that using a marketing service such as
Yahoo/Overture will provide results faster and on a larger
scale. Many businesses have learned this the hard way, don't be
counted with them.

3 Ways to Eliminate Holiday Stress
Holiday stress is definitely a popular subject. Over the
years, I have absorbed stress during the holidays with
juggling children, family, cooking, working, shopping, and
on top of it all trying to be creative with my gift ideas.
I'm a woman and women always take the lion's share of
holiday stress. Women believe that they have to do it
all. They don't!

Time and finances are impacted significantly during the
holidays, and they are the two major reasons why people
feel stress. Financial stress can last the whole year if
one is overspending. What if all of us were to change our
current patterns and do the holidays differently.

The underlying desire with all this busyness is to
celebrate and share the holidays together. If women keep
their focus around "sharing," they will be able to minimize
stress levels. Women know how to "give" and are
reluctant to share. Sharing is a back and forth
process....so here are my three good tips for busy women.

Time is our most valuable resource...how do you want to use
it?

-Know what makes the holidays special to you. Choose 3
"must do's" that make the holidays for you. For example,
cooking your special dishes, religious expression, or being
with your family and friends. Everything else is
negotiable...do or don't, that is your choice.

-Learn to Delegate...organize all of the tasks that are
part of the holidays. You have to organize it anyway. Take
the list and then find your resources. You may be
surprised to find that family and friends actually want to
participate and share in the making of the holidays. It's
all in your presentation,...express your desire to share
the holidays and ask for their support. Another great
resource for help...caterers, house cleaners, online
shopping sites (don't have to leave home), or the teenager
next store.

-Financial Savvy: Yes, it is so much fun to see the
expressions of others when they open your gifts. Yet, do
you want to spend the rest of the year paying off the bill.
Keep your gift giving simple...you don't have to prove
anything to anyone.

For family and friends, do a Secret Santa or Secret Giver
(non-religious). The idea behind this is everyone picks
one name and buys for that person. Select a dollar limit
for the gift and keep it a secret. Everyone shares in the
gift buying and finances equally.

For children, limit the number of gifts and let them know
ahead of time. Instead of spending money or using your time
away from them for shopping, give them the gift of time.
You can cook together, share a hot chocolate while watching
their favorite movie, play a game or read to them. It's a
special gift for both of you to share and that special time
will be remembered for years to come.

After the holidays are all over, take the time to review
what worked and what didn't work for you. You know what
to do with what doesn't work - eliminate it, take it off
your "to do" list for next year. Highlight what worked and
then you will be prepared for next year's celebration.

How to Have a Successful Party and Stay Within a Budget
Do you think you have to spend a lot of money in order for
your party to be successful? You can stay within a budget
and still create a wonderful time for yourself and everyone
at your party. Here are some helpful ideas for a successful
and budget oriented party.

I found that my most successful parties were planned and
not necessarily expensive. Most parties need thought and
attention to the details to create a fun experience for
everyone that is coming. What do you need to plan?

What's the Occasion?

If there is a special occasion that you are celebrating,
then you already have the theme of your party. If you just
want to bring friends and family together, then create a
theme for your party. Be creative or loving...a "just
because I think you are all so special" theme. Whatever
your theme, include it throughout all of your planning.

What's the Budget?

Create a budget and stick to it. Be specific about the
amount you can spend on food, decoration and drinks.

-If you want to minimize the food costs, have a gathering
at a time of the day when people have already eaten, such
as mid afternoon and you will only need to provide snacks.
How about an appetizer or dessert party? These ideas keep
your food requirements to a minimum.

-Plan on making most of the food yourself to keep the costs
down. You can also elicit the help of people coming to the
party by asking each person to contribute a dish. Potluck
gatherings are festive and fun.

-Send your invitations via email. There is a great website,
http://www.evite.com, where you can create an online invite
and email everyone on your list. This service is "free"...a
great word.

-Include the costs of the paper products, decorations, and
drinks. Don't spend lots of money on decorating...candles,
music and balloons add a festive flavor to your home
without breaking the bank.

What Has to Be Done?

Create Your "To Do" List

What does your "to do" list look like? Include everything
you have to do as soon as you decide to have a party. The
list includes sending out the invitations, menu planning,
shopping, cooking, cleaning, setting up and cleaning up,
and possibly planning fun activities.

Create Your Party Day TimeLine

Create a timeline of what needs to be done on the day of
your party...from setup to clean up after the party, and
everything in the middle. Did you ever forget to do
something you planned or leave a favorite dish in the
refrigerator? I know that I have!

The timeline of your party day includes everything you have
to do: decorate, candles, pick up balloons, set table, and
every item that has to be cooked and when. Be specific with
your time...when are you going to do it and how long will
it take. I know this sounds like a lot of effort, but the
effort you put in planning will make sure you don't forget
something, know when you need helping hands, and decrease
the stress around organizing the success of your party.

Helpful Hands

Ask your family or friends to help. Is someone great at
cooking desserts or maybe a friend has a wonderful music
collection that would be perfect for your party? Think in
terms of your resources. Most people are happy to
participate in the celebration if asked. What do you need
extra hands for? Go through your "To Do" party list and add
your resources against some of the activities on that list.

What is Most Important?

To have fun! With some new ideas and careful planning and
organization, you can stay within your budget yet create a
space for everyone to enjoy themselves and others. Good
party memories are in the details.

for a fancy ball gown. Or perhaps you are going out for a
romantic meal with your partner and would prefer an elegant
evening dress? With so much variety and choice, there are
dresses to suit everyone, which means buying your ball gown and

* Strapless.
* A halter neck design.
* With spaghetti straps.

Stand out from the crowd with a spectacular prom dress

The high school prom is an event most girls look forward to, as
they can dress up for the spectacular dance and show off their
gorgeous outfits.

Prom dresses come in a wide variety of styles to suit all
different shapes. First work out what shape you are:

Hourglass - This applies to women who have curvy hips and bust,
and a small waistline just like Marilyn Monroe had. To look your
best, wear fitted clothes that clasp your curves and stretch
your torso. Also try tops and dresses that are halter neck or
strapless.

Pear - This shape describes women with narrow shoulders, but
wide hips, thighs and bottom. Try wearing clothes that draw
attention away from your hips and thighs, such as darker colours
that skim, rather than cling on your lower half.

Apple - This refers to women who are top-heavy, with a larger
bust and stomach, but who have thin legs. Avoid bulk and go for
side-fastening skirts and dresses to avoid bulk at the front.

Straight - This is a naturally thin shape, which suits draping
dresses that create curves in all the right places. Look for
angular garments and slabs of colour that can help add shape,
and maybe try a waist belt.

You may well be an in-between shape, in which case read the two
descriptions that are closest to you!

Wedding and bridesmaids dresses

Your wedding day will almost certainly be the biggest day of
your life, and your dress should be the most stunning, unique
garment you will ever wear.

Brides can wear dresses with an endless choice of styles,
fabrics and designs. There is now a different dress for every
blushing bride; indeed the diversity of dresses available is
quite breath-taking.

However, finding your wedding dress and bridesmaids' dresses
can be both stressful and time consuming - buying online is
often a cheaper and a quicker method!

To make life a little easier for yourself, have a look at the
fabulous selection of wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses
from formaldress4u.

When you have your own website online, you try to run it in
such a way that if you could only handle all areas of concern of
the insurance niche you're working on, you'd do it. But it's not
as easy as it sounds nor is it a fast-paced process.

Everything has to happen accordingly at its own time and pace.
With an insurance website, you really can't get anywhere if you
don't create possible means to get leads all the time. It
doesn't have to be a big volume of leads, what you need to worry
about is how you are able to acquire leads as regularly as
possible.

If you don't have regular flow of leads, there is really no
point in managing an insurance website for business, isn't
there? To get to where most of the successful insurance agents
are right now, who also has great insurance website in
operation; you should take advantage of enriching your insurance
website. It's the only foolproof thing that you can do, spend
time and money on which completely makes sense. This works for
any type of business online, actually.

What we mean here is by writing and expanding your insurance
website's content. Many people think that enriching a website's
content is an easy task. It is the opposite. You can't just post
anything to a website if you really don't have anything sensible
to tell or highly relevant to share. People will look for that
quality in certain information. If you have what they are
looking for, the website you own will also gain the credits for
it.

What else other than articles can you put on your website?
There are a lot of site content you can take advantage of that
can also work directly to the niche of your choice. So for this
case, insurance market is your niche. If you are working
specifically to get leads for health insurance, for example,
then find and post content to your website that is related to
health insurance alone. This way, it'll increase the emphasis on
your target insurance market.

Just remember, whatever write-up that you have, always be sure
it has a good quality before completely posting it. It's not
only your website that's at stake here; it's also your knowledge
of expertise.

"Make 100,000 dollars in 48 hours with our home business
opportunity!""Make a six figure income only working 10 minutes a
day with our home business opportunity!" These are just a few of
the home business opportunity ads I see posted online everyday.
First off these claims are entirely fake and if anyone can show
me a home business opportunity where I can make 100,000 dollars
in 48 hours or make 6 figures a year working only 10 minutes a
day, please show me. I am all ears. These outrageous claims are
false. These companies are scam artists plain and simple. Don't
you think if it was that easy, everyone would be doing the same
thing. It is very possible to make a lot of money with a home
business opportunity but it will require work and the proper
training. I wish I could tell you it was as easy as pushing a
couple of buttons a day and then sitting back and watching your
money roll in. But it does work that way. You must dedicate
yourself to your home business opportunity in order for you to
succeed. You must also have the proper training in order to
succeed at your home business opportunity.

Many people join a home business opportunity with no training
in running or marketing for a business what so ever. They are
then told by their upline or sponsor to make of list of family
and friends. Then to call that list and invite them to a
conference call or hotel meeting. Sound familiar? If most people
are lucky they may bring in one or two family members, if that.
Most people do not even make it that far. The traditional
trainings taught to build a home business opportunity do not
work. Which explains why 90 percent of all home business owners
are failing. They are duplicating and copying business methods
which have been proven to be ineffective, period. The reason why
these worthless techniques, such as making a list of your warm
market, continue to get passed down from sponsor to sponsor is
because no one really has a clue how to build a successful home
business. So sponsors and uplines alike continue to give out
worthless techniques full well knowing the techniques are
ineffective.

As a home business owner you must take it upon yourself to
learn how to properly build your home business opportunity into
a successful venture. It is possible but first you will need
training on how to properly build a home business. Once you
properly know how to build a home business here are a few of
things you will and should know. You will know how to get an
unlimited amount of targeted prospects looking at your home
business opportunity through various techniques. Such as getting
your websites listed on the first page of Google, gaining
traffic through press releases and article marketing. These are
just a few techniques, that actually do work, that can help you
build your home business. Once you learn real marketing
techniques, which actually work, you will be well on your way to
making the most out of your home business opportunity.

Article Title: A Look At Various Types Of Sterling Silver
Clasps

When you look at a necklace or a bracelet, one of the first
things that you probably notice is the flow of the design.
Believe it or not, a clasp is more than just a functional device
used to fasten your jewelry. In fact, it's very much a part of
the overall design and can be a very important focal point. This
article will attempt to explain the various types of sterling
silver clasps and how each one differs from the others. Why is
this important? Quite simply, because a clasp is in many ways
the most important finding on your jewelry because it keeps it
securely in place.

Spring-Ring Clasp. This type of clasp is one of the most
common, and is typically used for light to medium weight jewelry
accessories. A spring-ring clasp is round in its design and
features a small tip, which controls the opening and closing of
the spring.

Lobster Claw Clasp. This type of clasp is also one of the more
traditional styles found in bracelets and necklaces, but it is
generally reserved for heavier styles that may need a little
added strength. From the side, a lobster claw clasp will give
the appearance of a teardrop shape, and is controlled by a tip
that opens and closes the spring in the clasp. Because the
lobster claw clasp is reserved for heavier styles, it is also a
more expensive finding and adds value to the piece.

Toggle Clasp. A sterling silver toggle is a narrow piece of
sterling silver, which is typically designed in the shape of a
bar, which is then pushed through a sterling loop to act as a
fastener for your necklace or bracelet. The toggle clasp is one
that is both expensive and attractive, which makes it an
important focal point for any jewelry accessory. Unlike the
lobster claw or spring-ring clasps, a toggle clasp is not
controlled by a spring. Instead, it is secured when the bar is
pushed through the ring.

Slide Insert Clasp. This type of clasp is designed exactly as
it sounds in that it features a box-like shape that is hollow on
the inside. To secure a sterling silver slide insert clasp, the
wearer will slide the nearly-flat tab into the box until it
clicks, which indicates a secure closure. On some pieces of
jewelry, a slide insert clasp will be accompanied by a side
safety catch, which will add strength to the clasp of your
necklace or bracelet. These types of clasps are often reserved
for the most expensive styles in jewelry.

Magnetic Clasp. In recent years, the popularity of the magnetic
clasp has soared to an amazing level. The convenience of a quick
and easy way to secure jewelry while not having to fuss with a
traditional clasp, which can be difficult if you have long
fingernails, arthritic hands or certain other mobility
challenges, is an attractive feature to many accessories. A
magnetic clasp relies on a strong internal magnet, which works
to pull both ends of the clasp together. In most cases, a
magnetic clasp is used for light to medium weight jewelry
pieces, which will not put excessive stress on the magnet.

Now that you know more about each individual type of sterling
silver clasp, you can make an informed decision as to which will
best suit your needs in terms of both wear and durability.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
You might have been intrigued for awhile with the possibility
of working from home. Let's face it, this can be one of the
greatest things for you. You can go to work whenever you want,
in any type of clothing that you want, and you can finally take
the days off that you need if you get sick or need to do
something with your children. This is something that many people
just want to do, and it can be something that can make your life
better. However, when it comes right down to it this is
something that you have to be careful of. There are many home
computer business ideas and offers out there, but you have to
make sure that they are good offers that you will be able to
take advantage of. Otherwise, they will take advantage of you!

There are many offers that you are going to find that might
sound like good offers. You might see that these are ways you
can work from home without really working. Some of them might
offer you a chance to work from home for only a few hours each
day and make thousands of dollars a week. This is something that
you might be frustrated with, because it simply sounds too good
to be true. Well, chances are very good that it is too good to
be true. These types of opportunities are usually going to be
scams or pyramid schemes that probably aren't going to work out
for you. Any legitimate home based business will require time
and effort. Don't be affraid though, wouldn't you rather work
for yourself in the end, rather than work for someone else?

So how do you make sure that a stay at home business is
actually going to be productive? Well, the best way that you
have to make sure that you will be able to be successful with
these jobs is to simply research them. There is lots of
information out there on the internet that you can find which
will allow you to get plenty of good information about the
various companies and opportunities that are calling to you.
Remember that your best defense against scams and other schemes
is to do your own research. If you are able to do your own
research, you will be able to find out which opportunities are
good and which are not. There are several online communities
that also revolve around making sure that the opportunities out
there are tried and tested. Be sure that before you quit your
job and invest in a home business opportunity, you have done
your research and you know what is legitimate and what is not.

Most home business opportunities will require some form of
start up cost. Again, don't be affraid. If you have done your
homework and research, this will not be a problem. Try programs
that let you start free at first, then sign up later. Almost
all of them will have a monthly fee to stay active with the
business. Also, many will provide you with your own website to
promote your business. This is an ideal situation because you
will then be able to direct other business minded, opportunity
seekers directly to your site to sign up with you. As most
affiliate programs or network marketing programs work, you will
make money when others sign up under you, and order products or
services through you.

Also, be sure that you go slowly. Don't quit your job before
you know for sure that you are going to be successful. It can
take months and even years before you begin to earn the money
you hoped for. You can scale back a little bit if you need to,
but quitting all together is something that you shouldn't do.
Take some time to make sure that your home business venture is
set before you start on it full time. Then, you can make sure
you will be successful before you even get started. This is a
great way to make sure that your home business will stand up to
the tests. Just like in relationships, you may have to kiss a
few toads before you find your prince. Don't be discouraged
either. Almost all successful people have failed before in
thier lives. Remember that setbacks and failures will always
make you stronger in the end.

Kick the Procrastination Habit in 4 Easy Steps
Over time we have developed habits to deal with many areas
of our lives. What thoughts we think, what we do, how we
do it or if we do it are all indicators of our habits. All
repetitive activities seem to generate a habit.

What about the "procrastination" habit? Basically,
procrastination is defined as avoiding doing a task that
needs to be done...putting the activity off until tomorrow.

When you create a "procrastination" habit, you reduce your
ability to function effectively. This habit is controlling
you and can be a hard habit to break. If you believe that
procrastination is an issue in your life, what would it
look like to no longer choose to resist doing something?

Use the 4-step process below to help you stop resisting
what is important for you to do...one small step at a time.

Step 1: Evaluation

Generally, most of us don't procrastinate with everything
we do, rather we have select areas that we are more
apprehensive about and resist handling them effectively.
The resistance could be in the form of just not doing it or
doing the activity at the very last moment when the
pressure is on.

Take the time to do some honest self-assessment around the
areas of procrastination in your life. Remember, you
probably don't procrastinate around everything you do, so
create a list of those areas that you resist...and how you
go about it. For example, you resist completing a report
at work (your issue) and you wait until the last moment
(how you procrastinate). Look to see if there are any
themes in your procrastination as it will help you better
understand what is motivating you to procrastinate.

As you create this list, eliminate the need to judge
yourself. This is an assessment and judgments will block
your ability to make any changes.

Most of the time people procrastinate because they are
fearful of their performance, have not judged correctly how
much time an activity will take, have too many activities
on their To Do lists, or get overwhelmed by the project and
don't know how to break it down.

Step 2: Selection

Overcoming the procrastination habit takes time. It's best
to start slow. Choose an area that can be managed. Keep it
simple so you are successful in your quest to decreasing
your need to procrastinate.

For example, what if you procrastinate around paying the
bills? What could you put in place that would help you
handle this issue more effectively?

Here is a simple system to handle the bill paying process:

-When bills come in, where do they go? Choose one place to
put the bills immediately.

-How often do you pay the bills? Choose a weekly, every two
weeks, or monthly system...whatever system that allows you
to be on time with paying the bills.

-Select a day/time that you regularly sit down to pay your
bills. Put this time in your calendar. Choose a time that
you can actually perform the work. If you have children,
choosing Saturday afternoon may not be realistic, whereas,
Monday night at 8:00 pm could be perfect.

What if you are trying to do too much?

-Select 3 "must do's" each day and tackle them first.

-If you have more time, add 2 more tasks and complete them.

-Over time you will see a list of activities that keep
being pushed forward to another day. Now is the time to
evaluate whether they are important to you or you need to
let them go. If they are important, can you delegate some
of your tasks to someone who would be willing to assist you?

Step 3: Share It

Tell others what you are trying to do...and ask for their
support. Think about how they can best support you. I find
that when I reach out to others I receive some great ideas
that help me be more effective with my commitment. Maybe
you can find another "procrastinator" and buddy up to
support each other in change.

Step 4: Celebrate

Reward yourself for accomplishing what you set out to do.
Know before you start what you will reward yourself with.
As soon as you accomplish your small goal, celebrate by
rewarding yourself.

Make sure the reward is something you like to do. Time is
always an issue for most people, so your reward needs to be
realistic...something you can do in an hour. Take a bubble
bath, buy a new book, or make time to read your favorite
magazine.

Final Thought

There really isn't a tomorrow, only a today. Choose what is
important to you today.

Remember, small steps are wonderful and bring more energy
into your life. This is your personal journey in creating
more joy in your life.
