Movie History: If You Thought "Titanic" Was the Largest Grossing Film in the U. S., Think Again
Copyright © 2007 Ed Bagley

A lot of moviegoers think that "Titanic" is the largest
grossing domestic film of all time, primarily because of
its huge popularity as well as topping $600+ million in
revenue following its release in 1997.

In fact, Titanic was the largest grossing domestic film in
actual dollars, with Star Wars a distant second at $460+
million in 1977. Because money not only talks but sings and
dances as well in our society, we remain impressed by large
amounts of money. Not satisfied with this approach, I
looked for a more accurate measure to compare and found it
in adjusting for inflation. When adjusted for inflation,
the actual moneymaking value of films takes on a new look.

Titanic, while No. 1 in actual dollars generated, is only
No. 6 when adjusted for inflation.

The real No. 1 largest grossing domestic film in
moviemaking history is none other than "Gone with the
Wind", which grossed $198+ million in 1939 but its
inflation-adjusted value in today's money is $1.329 billion
(1,329,000,000+).

Here are the Top 25 moneymaking movies when inflation
adjusted:

1) Gone with the Wind - $1.329+ billion (actual gross of
$198+ million in 1939).

2) Star Wars - $1.172+ billion ($460+ million in 1977).

3) The Sound of Music - $937+ million ($158+ million 1965).

4) E. T.: The Extra-Terrestrial - $933+ million
($435+million in 1982).

5) The Ten Commandments - $861+ million ($65+ million in
1956).

6) Titanic - $844+ million ($600+ million in 1997).

7) Jaws - $842+ million ($260+ million in 1975).

8) Doctor Zhivago - $816+ million ($111+ million in 1965).

9) The Exorcist - $727+ million ($232+ million 1973).

10) Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - $717+ million ($184+
million in 1937).

11) 101 Dalmatians - $657+ million ($144+ million in 1961).

12) The Empire Strikes Back - $646+ million ($290+ million
in 1980).

13) Ben-Hur - $644+ million ($74 million in 1959).

14) Return of the Jedi - $618+ million ($309 million in
1983).

15) The Sting - $586+ million ($156 million in 1973).

16) Raiders of the Lost Ark - $579+ million ($242+ million
in 1981).

17) Jurassic Park - $567+ million ($357+ million in 1993).

18) The Graduate - $563+ million ($104+ million in 1967).

19) Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace - $558+
million ($431 million in 1999).

20) Fantasia - $546+ million ($76+ million in 1941).

21) The Godfather - $519+ million ($134+ million in 1972).

22) Forrest Gump - $516+ million ($329+ million in 1994).

23) Mary Poppins - $514+ million ($102+ million in 1964).

24) The Lion King - $508+ million ($328+ million in 1994).

25) Grease - $506+ million ($188+ million in 1978).

Here are 10 more eye-poppers among the Top 100 grossing
films when inflation adjusted:

44) Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - $423+
million ($423+ million in 2006).

46) Blazing Saddles - $416 million ($119+ million in 1974).

55) The Passion of the Christ - $392 million ($370 million
in 2004).

62) Smokey and the Bandit - $373+ million ($126+ million in
1977).

69) The Rocky Horror Picture Show - $362+ million ($112+
million in 1975).

70) Rocky - $362+ million ($117 million in 1976).

80) M.A.S.H. - $353+ million ($81+ million in 1970).

81) Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - $352+ million
($179+ million in 1984).

88) Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
- $333+ million ($305+ million in 2003).

96) Sergeant York - $316+ million ($16+ million in 1941).

All figures are adjusted to the estimated 2007 average
ticket price of $6.58. Some of these films had multiple
releases; the release date used reflects the year of
initial release.

How I Lost 50 Pounds in Two Weeks and Gained a New Living Room!

OK...I was spilling over, outgrowing everything, the beautiful
bits hidden under mounds of muddle and it was time – past time –
to lose it! I thought about using dynamite to blast it away, but
that was too messy and probably illegal! I thought of calling a
small third world county and telling them I had more than enough
if they could use some extra – but that would probably cause an
international crisis. So I decided to do it the hard way – one
step at a time. Yes, it was time to de-clutter my living room!
And lest you think this a small task, let me tell you that we are
talking clutter with a capital "C!"

I began by sorting through my stacks of books until I came to a
book on "How to De-Clutter Your Home," which had been hidden
under a book on streamlining your life and another on losing 5
pounds overnight. Armed with the book's list of suggested steps,
I sat on a stack of magazines and began to read.

1. Start with three boxes – one labeled "keep," one labeled
"trash," and another labeled "give away."

- Now right away we have a problem. If I could put all my stuff
into these three little boxes, I wouldn't HAVE a clutter
problem! So I got out my industrial-sized box of trash bags,
skipped the labels and with applause from my husband ( who
immediately ducked to miss the flying copy of "How to Declutter
Your Home" and fled a hasty retreat), I began to stuff.

2. If possible, move everything out of the room. Move back in
only the items you want to keep.

- When I called my husband to help, pointing to the next item on
the list from "How to Declutter Your Home," he dissolved into
gales of laughter and said, "You want to put what, WHERE?" I
muttered something about "where the sun don't shine," handed
him a hankie to wipe his eyes, picked up the nearest pile and
began to move.

3. If you are unsure about whether or not to keep items, put them
in a box for 6 months. If you still haven't opened the box after
six months, take it directly to a thrift store.

- Now THIS made sense - box up all my junk and put it in my
husband's space and let HIM deal with it! When my husband
realized - on my third trip to the garage – that I was moving all
my possessions, lock, stock, and silk flower arrangments to live
amongst the tools, "valuable stuff," and "they don't make
'em like that anymore" treasure in his space, he – well, let's
put it in a less explosive term – "freaked!" My copy of "How
to Declutter Your Home" landed in my neighbor's yard amongst
the begonias, scaring the cat and causing every dog in the
neighborhood to begin a new game of "My bark is louder than your
bark!"

It took two weeks, 10 trash bags, 9 boxes, two extra-large
pepperoni pizzas for my husband and the dogged determination of
yours truly, but I got a new, uncluttered and streamlined living
room. And the 50 pounds? More than 50 pounds of "irreplaceable
treasure" went to the thrift store or trash bin in the two weeks
of decluttering! So I am back to my old svelte self! Now, if
only I could get up enough courage to open that hall closet, I
might lose another 20!

Are your drivers or users of hazardous equipment below the UK
alcohol limit - because if not, when counting the cost, it's the
mourning after that hurts the most.

Key management with compulsory alcohol testing – this system
will not allow vehicle keys or keys to access hazardous
equipment to be released if the user does not pass an alcohol
breath test.

The Health & Safety Executive states legal obligations … you
have a Duty of Care to manage at work … including those
responsible for the management and operation of hazardous
equipment or company vehicles. Whatever the outcome, you and
your company could be left to deal with the potential
consequences.

Key management with compulsory alcohol testing

The highly acclaimed GB Alcolock 500 alcohol tester (Home
Office approved) has been integrated to work with Traka
electronic key management to ensure drivers (or operatives of
any piece of potentially dangerous equipment) must first pass a
breath test before keys can be withdrawn. Testing can be
compulsory for every user or set to test a random sample of
users.

After opening the Traka cabinet using PIN, access card or
biometrics reader the user then selects the required key to a
particular vehicle or piece of equipment. However, before the
key is released the system display requests the user to blow
into the Alcolock.

A five second blow and the system will confirm a Pass or a
Fail. Only if Passed will the key be released. A Fail and the
key will be locked in place. Furthermore the Fail will be logged
in the Traka database together with the user's name.

The Traka integration provides a compulsory breath test before
the keys can be released and is a highly cost effective method
for ensuring staff are safe before driving or using equipment
where excessive alcohol levels may cause danger or impair
judgment.

The Alcolock enables management to ensure that operatives are
safe in their work environment. Furthermore the duty of care
that every business needs to implement is reinforced if every
user is proven to be below legal alcohol limits.

Typical applications include:

• Fleet and Delivery vehicles

• Bus, Coach and Public Service vehicles

• Distribution Centres and Fork Lift Trucks

• Plant vehicles – excavators, dumper trucks and cranes

• Environments where dangerous or hazardous equipment is used

• Firearms and weaponry establishments

Electronic key management is used to ensure drivers only take
keys to vehicles they are allowed (or to equipment that
operatives are permitted to use) and that a record is kept as
the key is withdrawn.

This ensures that the drivers have valid permits for the
vehicle type (or equipment use) and that a computerized audit
trail is generated so that in the event of driving offenses or
dispute there is positive evidence of the driver concerned.
Traka also ensures that the keys are returned after use and
provides an easy method for finding out who has the key now or
at any time in the past.

Electronic key management also makes it easy to record vehicle
(or equipment) defects both to ensure the repairs are carried
out quickly and efficiently and to quarantine dangerous or VOR
vehicles.

Traka is in use extensively in the UK for all sizes of vehicle
fleet and equipment management and typically shows significant
operator savings, often with paybacks inside twelve months.

Would you like to have fuller, bigger, shapelier, beautiful
breast without the risk, pain, and stress or recovery time of
breast implant surgery?

Breast enhancement pills have become quite popular in recent
years as more and more women are shying away from augmentation
surgery. Due to the high costs as well as the risk of serious
health complications, pain, and recovery time.

For herbal breast enhancement pills many different herbs are
used. But these herbal breast enhancement pills only trick you
body to have water retention in the breast, thusly increasing
your breast size. Because it's just water retention you need to
stay on a maintains program (continue to buy, and take the
herbal pills, often several times a month) to keep your water
retention. The worst part is that water retention is bad for
your health because it lowers your bodies' ability to maintain
proper circulation needed to maintain healthy cells. Herbs can
help you get healthier but herbs can not change the structure of
your body.

The dirty little secret is that despite the claims, herbal
(also known as phyto-oestrogens) breast enhancement pills and
creams only work for about 15% of all kinds of women who take
them. The higher claims can be made because the test subjects
for that study are done on a very select group of individuals
that have the attributes that make them the best candidates for
success. In this way very high claims can be made because the
perimeters of the study are never disclosed.

But there is hope. Yes there is something that really works! A
breast enlargement pill, which stimulates your pituitary gland,
the body's major hormone regulator, to reactivate your body's
natural breast growth hormones. This is a form of glandular
therapy also known as homeopathy and it has no side effects or
weight gain!

Now there is BountifulBreast® Enhancement Formula. The
completely natural and truly revolutionary breast enhancement
alternative to expensive and painful surgery and ineffective
herbal pills and creams.

Our breast enlargement pills are unlike any other breast pills
on the market in both ingredients and manufacturing process. One
process we invented is called NutriPotentized. We believe this
process makes our pills more effective than solely the
ingredients and manufacturing processes alone. We use only
whole-food products, (no synthetics) and manufacture in a FDA
approved laboratory.

BountifulBreast® natural breast enhancement pill is an
outstanding and truly revolutionary product. Our phenomenal
success rate is exactly why you need to try BountifulBreast® now
to get the beautiful breast you have always wanted. With
BountifulBreast® you have our 100% money back Guarantee!

How do your breast augmentation capsules work?

The aesthetic breast develops in advance of the glandular
breast. Early in adolescence, the brain begins secreting regular
bursts of hormones that stimulate the body to lay down fat
deposits in the breasts. That adipose tissue is suspended in a
gelatinous matrix of connective fibers that extend from the
muscle of the chest to the underside of the breast skin.
Connective tissue can stretch and stretch, to accommodate as
much fat as the body inserts between its fibers; the connective
tissue's spring gives the breast it's bounce.

Female breasts are comprised mainly of fatty tissue held
together by connective tissue. All women have approximately an
equal number of mammary glands. BountifulBreast® stimulates your
body to re-release hormones which in turn cause an accumulation
of fatty breast tissue. This method of breast augmentation and
enhancement does NOT cause a gain in general body weight!

Our products are shipped discreetly and we never sell, rent or
divulge any customer information to any third parties except in
the performance of delivering your package.

About The Author: Thank you reading my Article. I have given

================== ARTICLE START ==================
A printer is a useful output device that prints the data from a
computer into a printing material like paper. There are various
types, the most common ones being inkjet and laser. Inkjet is
very useful to reproduce true colours, which only a very
expensive laser one can produce. However, the printing speeds
are lower and the text quality can be low when compared to
laser. The running costs can be higher as well. But overall, for
an all-round use, the inkjet is useful.

In a laser printer, the speed is very good and the output
quality is also very high. However, the cost of toner cartridges
for the laser types is higher when compared to the ink
cartridges.

The next feature is monochrome or colour printer. A monochrome
produces black and white images only, which is useful for
printing text, but is not very appropriate for photo printing
and other colour printouts. For an inkjet printer to print both
black and white text and colour images, 4 colours should be
available in the cartridge.

There is a feature called PictBridge, which allows transfer of
photos from a memory card of a digital camera into the printer
directly and produce colour photos printout. The print size and
other features can be altered in the camera itself and the
printout can be taken directly.

While purchasing printers, it is better to have an idea of the
cost of cartridges and the availability, as at first some
printers might be cheaper to buy, but the cost of the
consumables would be so high and also difficult to locate, that
buying the expensive version becomes more cost effective in the
long run! Also in all-in-ones, it is important to check out the
memory capacity, when it falls short of printing papers. This is
evaluated in MB; the more the memory capacity, the speeder the
printer.

The drivers are given along with the software. The updates for
the drivers are made available in the manufacturer's website
itself. Many all-in-ones give the facilities to fax, copy and
scan without the PC switched on, which saves time. Printing
speeds should also be considered, while buying. The competent
ones give about 20-25 black and white pages per minute. However,
the colour pages take time depending upon the image resolution
etc.

Power consumption has to be taken into consideration. Some
models can waste a lot of electricity, when in stand-by mode.
Also the various types of printing modes offered has to be
analyzed as well, with the common ones being standard, typically
draft and best designed. This allows the running costs to be
kept minimal. There are various media types wherein the print
can be done. This includes different shapes, sizes and types of
papers, CD/DVD, labels etc. Appropriate printers should be used
for the specific needs.

Some also offer printing at both the sides, which is a very
good and useful feature for many. The final thing to be noted is
the connections. Mostly the latest versions have USB ports to
attach to different USB devices. Also some are equipped with
Ethernet facilities as well.

Printers are very advantageous and also come in various models
and types, to suit different needs and necessities. Choosing the
right model saves time and also proves useful, along with being
cost effective as well.

Most people are blissfully unaware of what it means to have an
effective furnace filter or what a furnace filter even does.
Here is a small handful of tips which should not only explain
what furnace filters are and how they work, but also how to best
maintain your furnace filter for improved air quality and
safety.

- The dust in your home is more than dust. It is composed of
pollen, mold spores, plant spores, lint, bacteria, pet dander,
skin cells and many other contaminants. Dusting, vacuuming,
smoking or cooking indoors, can actually increase particulate
concentrations. Can you imagine how much dust is currently
flying about around you, without you even knowing it? This is
what makes having an effective furnace filter so important.

- Dust particles are measured in microns, and range drastically
in size from microscopic, to relatively large. The tiniest dust
particles make up more than 99% of the debris floating around in
the air inside your home. You can be inhaling a large amount of
these particles on a daily basis, as they often bypass your
respiratory system's defense mechanisms with little trouble.
Learn more about how to keep your furnace filter clean at
http://www.creativehomemaking.com/cleaning/furnace-air-filters.shtml.

- Breathing these particles can create a number of health
effects, including coughing, asthma attacks, wheezing, cancer,
decreased lung function, heart attacks and even premature death.
This is all in addition to a wide variety of different allergic
reactions.

- The best way to limit the source of these dust particles it
to eliminate them, and one great way to accomplish that involves
installing high efficiency furnace filters and air conditioning
filters. High efficiency filters, like HEPA filters for example,
are excellent for capturing a large amount of these particles,
keeping them from contaminating the air that you are breathing
on a constant basis.

- Proper filtration is the best way to remove dust, dirt and
mold particles from the air. There are a number of different
types of furnace filters that you can use to accomplish this.
Many furnace filters are disposable but there are also
variations that are reusable or refillable in nature. Furnace
filters also come in a variety of different materials, including
natural fibers, manmade fibers, metal and fiberglass. Get more
information about furnace filters at
http://energyboomer.typepad.com/energyboomer/2007/07/a-clean-filter-.html.

- The purpose of a furnace filter is to protect air-handling
equipment, meaning that it is important that they are maintained
or replaced exactly how the manufacturer recommends. If you do
not maintain or replace them as recommended by the manufacturer
then they can become dangerous by restricting airflow and
causing fires, carbon monoxide leaks, or worse. Maintenance
truly is key when it comes to getting the most out of your
furnace filter. When filters become loaded with particles, there
is less air flow capacity which cuts down on the efficiency of
the filter and causes the rest of the machinery to work extra
hard to operate.

- Make sure to keep the manufacturer's instructions handy so
you always know how to maintain and repair your furnace filter
and other important furnace equipment. These instructions will
also show you where the furnace filter is located and will
indicate how often you should have your furnace inspected by a
licensed contractor.

- Look for the highest available efficiency filter that will
work with your furnace. The best way to do this is to choose a
furnace filter with a high MERV rating. The MERV rating will be
listed on the packaging. A MERV rating of 11 or higher is
recommended for the healthiest air quality in your home.

- If you have a family member with asthma or other respiratory
problems, you may want to replace or maintain your furnace
filter even more often to keep the air clean. There is no harm
in over-maintaining or replacing more often than necessary.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
When you have used up 12months of intense planning to get
together all of the people that are important to you, it is
amazingly easy to loose sight of what really matters. You get
caught up in all of the minor details that most people feel are
essential, but when it comes down to it, if you leave the
chapel, beach, your home or anywhere you select to "tie the
knot", and you are married to the person that you want to spend
the rest of your life with, then your assignment has been
accomplished.

Generally when we plan weddings, we get financial support from
our families. Many times there is a conjecture that we have to
gratify them and make them happy too. This is not the case at
all. It is a day for you and your partner to share with your
friends and family, so it should show your style, not your
parents or your future in-laws'. If you try to make everybody
happy, you have the potential to create a great amount of
disorder and stress for yourself. This will only complicate
matters and ends up being a case of "Too many cooks in the
kitchen".

The next tip for maintaining your sanity is about choices. When
you begin your planning you will quickly notice that you have
set yourself free in a world where there are infinite
possibilities and options from which you can select. It is a
good idea to fix to your decisions once they have been made.
There are always going to be things that you see that you hope
you would have known about throughout your time in wedding
world. But if you carry on to bounce from theme to theme or
color to color, you will only waste time and energy and reduce
the possibility of enjoying this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

It helps you to relax if you elect times for your wedding
planning. Due to complete excitement, you will find that you
have "wedding on the brain" and may think about it 24-7. Choose
a couple of days a week and set aside a time slot to surf the
internet or make phone calls to schedule appointments, this will
keep you from becoming completely consumed and also provide you
a chance to focus on the rest of the life that is still
happening around you.

Finally, this is your wedding day!!! In the weeks previous to
the event, take a few minutes everyday to go to a calm place and
count your blessings. Write them down so that, in times of
stress you can refer back to them, smile and relax. Keep in
mind, your wedding day may be the first day of your new lives
together, but it is fostering your marriage that is what will
truly bring you years of happiness.

A Lot Like Love - 2 Stars (Average)

"A Lot Like Love" chronicles the indecision of two young
adults who are misguided and muddled in both their careers
and love life. They haul off and do nothing with themselves
and then wonder why they are not happy. No wonder they are
confused about love.

Perhaps they represent too many young adults today,
bouncing around like a small metal ball in a pinball
contest. Small in thought, small in words and small in
deeds.

Drifting, detached, uncommitted, meaningless and terribly
out of touch with themselves and everyone around them.

This is Hollywood, of course, and so they do have unplanned
sex that is more like buying a bologna sandwich, taking the
wrapper off, eating it, throwing the wrapper away, and
wondering what's for dinner.

The politically correct expression for this might be casual
sex, but no one is laughing, least of all the participants.
They have no substance, little depth, and cannot possibly
calculate the emotional damage they are doing to
themselves. After drifting into and out of liaisons, it is
a wonder they ever figure it out.

Life is a pretty good deal for anyone who is paying
attention; the two love boobs in this romantic comedy
deserve each other. Of course they end up together in the
end, that is the point of a romantic comedy, otherwise it
would be romantic tragedy.

A Lot Like Love moves along at the same pace as its leading
characters, Emily (Amanda Peet) and Oliver (Ashton
Kutcher), slow to very slow.

It reminds me oddly enough of Max McGee's comment to his
Green Bay Packer coach Vince Lombardi. Lombardi liked to
start every season with the fundamentals, so he would hold
up a football on the first day of practice, look serious,
and say, "Gentlemen, this is a football," to which
McGee-the chief clown among the players, replied, "Uh,
Coach, could you slow down a little. You're going too fast
for us."

The script is the creation of award-winning writer Colin
Patrick Lynch who has apparently done some good work, but
this wasn't it.

At best, Lynch understands the teenybopper set as the only
award for this film was the Teen Choice Award for Choice
Movie Rockstar Moment when Ashton Kutcher sang "I'll Be
There for You". As tennyboppers are slaves to the latest
fashion trends and pop music it comes as no great surprise.

The premise of A Lot Like Love, directed by Nigel Cole in
apparently a somber moment, has two people meeting on a
flight, toying with the idea of liking each other, and then
dismissing the relationship only to keep bumping into each
other over the next 7 years.

The movie has its comedic seconds, twists and turns, and a
decent ending. What it lacks in substance among the
characters it makes up for in slow development, which is
why it was not a stunner at awards time and came off as an
average effort.

Both Amanda Peet and Ashton Kutcher deserved a better
script and character development. Peet must play a pothead
with a fried brain, and Kutcher plays a dipstick that lives
at home with his mother and sister.

Eventually Peet's character ends up in a halter-top party
dress and looks like a million bucks as long as she doesn't
open her mouth. Kutcher's character is hopeless, it's a
wonder he can find his way home. This was supposed to be a
comedy, but it was not THAT funny.

See this film once, and if someone invites you back a
second time, tell them you have already seen it five times
and are sick of it.

"Nanny McPhee" - An Excellent Movie with Magic and a Message for Children
Copyright © 2007 Ed Bagley

Nanny McPhee - 4 Stars (Excellent

Bless yourself by renting "Nanny McPhee" and sharing it
with your children at home, not in the movie theater. Do
this because this film is all about home and your children
might relate better in the comfort of their own home. Nanny
McPhee is an excellent film with a wonderful message for
all children to recognize and understand.

In an entertainment world full of trashy and violent video
games with movies to match that dwell on murder, rape, sex,
drugs, alcohol, filthy language, broken relationships and
crummy morals, Nanny McPhee is everything good about movies
for children. You and your children can watch this film
without fear of unpleasant and unwanted garbage rooted in
sensationalism for ratings and greed.

When finished watching, you can thank the uncompromising
excellence of British actress Emma Thompson and British
director Kirk Jones for the incredible excellence of Nanny
McPhee. I watched this film and went to bed wondering if it
was as good as I thought it was. I watched it again the
next night and did not wonder again.

Thompson-who has won 2 Academy Awards for Best Actress
(Howards End in 1992) and Best Adapted Screenplay (Sense
and Sensibility in 1995), and 2 BAFTAs for Best Actress
(Howards End and Sense and Sensibility)-wrote the
screenplay for Nanny McPhee. BAFTA is the equivalent of the
American Oscars, the British Academy of Film and Television
Arts.

Kirk Jones (not to be confused with the American rapper and
actor Kirk Jones) is a gifted writer and director with
great work that has not been properly recognized. Combine
Emma Thompson with Kirk Jones and you have the formula for
a winning production.

In 1998 Jones wrote and directed his first feature film
"Waking Ned Devine" with a budget of $3 million that
grossed $90 million worldwide. I believe Jones should have
two Oscars and probably would if it were not for the fact
that Hollywood's voters are too busy pawing each other and
posing for pictures to correct their near-sightedness.

Until a comedy is made that is better than Waking Ned
Devine it shall remain my favorite comedy of all time.

If it sounds like I am gushing over Nanny McPhee, I am.
There are so many good lines in this script I would not
dare to recount them here. Watch the movie and enjoy the
experience of listening carefully.

Nanny McPhee the movie is named for a governess (Emma
Thompson) who uses magic to rein in the behavior of 7
out-of-control children of recently widowed Mr. Brown
(Colin Firth).

Mr. Brown must answer to his Aunt Adelaide (Angela
Lansbury) who has been financing his family's livelihood
and now commands him to marry within the month or she will
cut off his sustenance. His bratty children have a genuine
fear of losing their father should he marry the widowed
Mrs. Quickly (Celia Imrie).

The children, who collectively have driven away 17
consecutive nannies, are led by their older brother Simon
(Thomas Sangster). All 6 of the younger children-Tora
(Eliza Bennett), Lily (Jennifer Rae Daykin), Eric (Raphael
Coleman), Sebastian (Samuel Honywood), Christianna (Holly
Gibbs) and Baby Agatha (Hebe Barnes and Zinnia Barnes)-face
the same fate as Simon.

Enter Nanny McPhee with her magic and old-fashioned
discipline that makes the children aware of their behavior,
and soon the children become models of what to do and when
to do it.

Beyond the obvious endearments, what makes this film
excellent is two huge but subtle elements.

One is the guts of the writer and actress Emma Thompson who
creates a character for herself that is repugnant upon
first sight. She has two huge warts on her face and an
enormous tooth cascading down over her lower lip. Nanny
McPhee will repel you upon first look. Thompson's acting
skills allow her to be perfectly relaxed and confident
despite her appearance. Her make-up was done by designer
Peter King.

The other element is the discovery by the children that
when they learn a major lesson, one of the warts
disappears, and eventually through model behavior by the
children, Nanny McPhee becomes better and better looking.

In many such films as this-the "Sound of Music" with Julie
Andrews comes to mind-the nanny only influences the
children. In Nanny McPhee, the children also become
powerful agents for positive change, empowering them in the
process. Never underestimate the insight and brilliance of
Emma Thompson, the writer or actress.

A tip of the hat to Angela Lansbury in her role as well.
Lansbury is a living legend who never goes out of character
as Aunt Adelaide. From Broadway to Hollywood to television
and back, Angela Lansbury is a British national treasure.

Nanny McPhee is based on the "Nurse Matilda" books by
Christianna Brand. Emma Thompson said it took her 9 years
to write the screenplay; it took her 5 years to write her
Oscar-winning Sense and Sensibility.

Trust me when I say that Nanny McPhee was worth the wait
and then some. Watch Nanny McPhee and learn with your
children some important lessons in human nature.

Millions of people use the internet each day for business and
for fun. As a result, internet marketing has offered people from
all over the world the opportunity to have a successful
business. With the right goods or services as well as good
marketing strategies, you can easily make a good living with
this type of business. Even if you don't have your own goods or
services there are plenty of excellent affiliate programs to be
a part of, you can help create websites for people, and even
write articles for them to post on their sites.

It is important to understand how internet marketing works
though as it is quite different from traditional types of sales.
It doesn't matter what you have to offer if you aren't able to
reach the target market to let them know about it. There are so
many different types of marketing strategies that you can
incorporate that you need to learn about them.

While you may be familiar with various types of online
marketing, you may be missing out on one that can be beneficial
to you. A B2B Exchange Agency can help you will specific needs.
This type of business is the bridge that gaps the space between
buyers and sellers. The term B2B simply translates to Business
to Business.

This has become one of the most popular types of marketing
online in recent times. This type of marketing allows an online
business to reach thousands of potential customers. This means
you can quickly get a high volume of sales without spending too
much time or money to do so.

With the help of a quality B2B Exchange Agency, you will be
able to build partnerships and business relationships. You will
be able to increase the amount of sales you make and this will
result in higher profits. There are many different ways that a
B2B Exchange Agency offers services.

They often help set up electronic catalog services so that you
can effectively manage your inventory. This often means you will
be able to offer more efficient customer service which is very
important to the reputation of your business.

One of the most important things that a B2B Exchange Agency
offers is the opportunity to reach those in your target market.
When it comes to the concepts of online marketing, it isn't the
volume of people you reach but the number of sales you make.
Reaching those in your target market help ensure that a large
percentage of them will end up making a purchase.

It can be frustrating to effectively market your online
business on your own. There are so many other aspects of the
business that you need to focus your attention on. Allowing a
B2B Exchange Agency to take care of this part of things for you
can be very helpful. It will also help to reduce the amount of
paperwork you have to do and the amount of hours you put in each
day.

Learning what your customers have to say is a great way to find
out what is working and where you need to make further
improvements. With the right B2B Exchange Agency, you will be
able to use their feedback effectively. This in turn is going to
help you improve your online business and generate even more
income.

However, in order to reap all of these benefits from a B2B
Exchange Agency, you need to do your homework. Not all of them
operate the same way or offer you the same level of services. It
is worth your time to investigate their reputation and to ask
for specific samples of the work they have accomplished for
other online businesses.

You should take the time to have a free consultation with at
least three B2B Exchange Agencies. During this consultation you
need to ask them how they will increase your amount of sales,
how they will reach potential buyers, their contacts, the types
of tools they use online to build quality business
relationships, and how they conduct market research.

After you have completed this process you will be able to put
your confidence in a B2B Exchange Agency. You can be assured
they will work hard to assist you with your marketing techniques
so you can reach your target market, increase sales, and start
generating more profits.

Summer is generally the time to have fun with your family and
enjoy many activities together. Days are usually longer than
usual and the children are out on vacation. The downside to this
fun is that summer also ushers in a season of heat stroke,
sunburn and exhaustion. This can threaten your family as well as
your dog.

How to Protect Dog from Sunburns

Yes, dogs can also get burned by the sun! What then can you do
to protect your dog? The first thing that you need to do is keep
your dog away from the sun when it's most intense.

Also you can apply some sun block to areas on your dog that are
exposed the most; the tip of the ear as well as the nose.

I wouldn't recommend applying sunscreen on your dog's lips
since there is a high chance that your dog will ingest it which
can harm him. Thirdly, check if your pet has a lighter colored
fur. If this is the case, the dog will be vulnerable to the
damaging effects of the sun just like humans. Should you notice
that any part of of your dog's skin becoming red, please seek
the services of a vet

How to Protect Your Dog from Heat-Related Conditions

A few precautions can help protect your dog from exhaustion
caused by heat as well as heat stroke.

First of all, its not a good idea to leave your dog in your car
without turning on the air conditioner. A few minutes out in the
hot sun can send the temperature inside your car soaring to
fatal temperatures if the doors and windows are closed.

If you know you will be away for some considerable amount of
time from your car, its best to leave your dog at home.

Secondly, make sure your dog is left in a well ventilated
resting area that is constantly shaded regardless of the
position of the sun. When the sun is hottest, the recommended
place for your pet is an air conditioned structure.

The third tip is to ensure that your dog has constant access to
clean and cool water. Have the water placed in a cool area that
will not get warmed up as a result of direct sunlight.

Stagnant water can cause bacteria to thrive so do change it
often. If the dog will be outdoors most of the day, give him a
shaded wading pool filled with water. This will allow your pet
to cool himself by jumping in and out of the water.

The fourth tip is to make sure that your dog is not in a
situation that will have him stand on a sun-baked surface for
long periods of time. Such surfaces include streets, beach sand
and sidewalks, streets and beach sand.

What will happen is that the heat will burn the skin of your
dog and can prevent your dog expelling heat from his body in an
efficient manner

Treating a Dog Affected by Heat Stroke

Your dog can develop heat stroke if his temperature gets too
high. Symptoms that show your dog suffering from heat stroke
include excessive panting, pronounced fatigue, collapse,
unconsciousness & seizures.

Should your dog show these symptoms, get him away from the heat
and place him in a shaded area. Also, you can place the dog in a
tub with cool water. Its not advisable to use cold water or ice
on him as this will make the blood vessels of the dog to
contract & prevent the animal from releasing heat from its body.
When your dog shows signs of heat stroke, please seek the
professional advise of a vet

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Migraines can be a real problem especially when you are working
9 to 5 and you just can't afford to be unproductive at work.
There is however nothing you can do as headaches like these can
be so severe that it can affect your concentration and your
mood. Migraine headaches are recurrent headaches that occur on
one side of the head.

Compared to the usual type of headache, the tension headache,
which often occur on the entire head area, the pain in migraine
headaches is more localized and much more specialized. It is
however harder to predict when it will occur as migraine
headaches do not present any warning signs. In fact, these types
of headache will just happen when you least expect it to.

There are however kinds of migraines where some symptoms may be
observed. One type is what is commonly called as the classic
migraine headache where in the person suffering from it may see
a hallucination called 'aura' before it actually occurs. Auras
are visual hallucinations that resemble lights or zigzagging
lines in the person's line of vision. The hallucination can last
from about 15 minutes up to an hour. The duration vary from one
case to another. There may also be pain in the areas surrounding
the eyes, temporary blind spots and blurred vision.

Still, it does not happen out of the blue. Although the
underlying causes of migraine headaches is still up for debate,
there are predisposing factors that can trigger its attack.
Migraine headaches are basically caused by the inflammation or
constriction of the blood vessels in the head. The changes in
the size of the vessels may be due to some medical conditions
such as lesions and inflammations caused by infections. If the
migraine headaches become severe and frequent, it is important
that you go to your doctor and seek medical help.

Environmental and other physiological factors may also
contribute in the occurrence of migraine headaches. One factor
is stress-related. Over exertion and over fatigue especially in
the eye area can cause severe migraine. Depression and anxiety
are also factors that you should look into.

Other medical conditions that can start a migraine attack are
colds, cough, influenza, and sinusitis. Food and diet may also
play a role. Some experts believe that eating chocolates,
drinking coffee and abusing alcoholic drinks may contribute in
the attack. Sensorial triggers such as over bright lights, too
much noise and strong odors may also trigger an attack.

With CD sales falling and music downloads skyrocketing it would
be naive to think that the computer as our music server is going
to go away anytime soon. So what's next in future music playing
technology? There are millions of us listening to our downloaded
music from our computers or MP3 players more often than not.

Let's take your PC for instance. Even though the sound quality
coming from your computer can be down right terrible, nobody can
question the convenience and portability of having 1000's of
songs at your fingertips.

If you listen to music from iTunes or other music download
programs, you have definitely realized that the sound quality
from most pc's isn't exactly what you would call Hi Fi. This is
because typically computers are built with cheap, low resolution
speakers combined with a low quality DAC chip.

You might be wondering what a DAC chip is though and what it
does?.

A DAC is a Digital to Analog Converter and every computer that
comes through an assembly line, is going to have one. When we
download music on to our pc or MP3 player, for example, it is
done in a digital format. Since we can't actually hear in
digital, we need a converter. So in order for us to hear the
music that we've downloaded, it first gets converted from its
digital format into analog.

The problem with the DAC in your computer, is that it's a part
that pc companies don't want to spend any serious money on, so
you end up with a really low end DAC and you would probably
never realize that you were missing out on anything at all
unless you've experienced an external Dac.

It makes a huge difference to the quality of your music. After
using one, chances are, you wouldn't think twice about it again.
Millions of us are making the choice to have digital music as
our main listening method, most of us just take it for granted
that the small set of speakers or cheap earbuds that we're
listening through are great but really, they're not.

What's next in future music playing technology is the choice to
have your digital library play at the high quality level of your
CD player, or your home stereo, mp3 player, or however you would
like to listen to your music.

A USB DAC for instance, is a Digital to Analog converter that
takes the digital signal from the USB connection on your
computer and coverts it to a high quality analog output that can
be played on any home stereo. So now you can have the
convenience of having thousands of songs stored on your computer
and the high quality sound of your home stereo. Some USB DACS
don't even require additional software, drivers, or involve you
installing anything, just plug it in and play.

A USB DAC is just one of the many up and coming advances of our
music playing technology. Audio enthusiasts are always in search
of true, life like play back from their music and that's exactly
what we will surely be seeing more of within our digital music
libraries.

The Encarta dictionary defines creativity as "the ability to
use the imagination to develop new and original ideas or things,
especially in an artistic context." Creativity and imagination
are largely linked with right brain functions, whereas analytic
and rationalized thinking are more associated with the left
brain.

As individuals, we may tend to be more inclined to naturally
use one side of the brain more than the other, which would
define the ability we have to tap into our creative talents. Of
course, there are influences in our life's as we grow up, that
are responsible for either nurturing or stifling our creativity.
For example, most of our schooling tends to focus much more on
learning via the left brain, encouraging logical and objective
learning, as opposed to holistic experiential learning which is
related to the right brain.

Creating can lead to a deep sense of satisfaction and there are
many different ways that people can express creativity. The
common factors tend to be that a great feeling of compulsion to
do something. Then throughout the process of doing it, a
connection with oneself, or even a feeling of motivation or
trance-like experience. If the person remains motivated to
continue their project until completion, they will feel a great
sense of pride once the process is successfully completed. Just
imagine if it was a requirement of your job to feel this good
everyday! In fact, those who set up their own business often do
so as an extension of a hobby or creative process that they
already enjoy.

So if you are not a natural creator, how can you develop this
skill to create more wholeness and inspiration?

Here are some tips:

1. Have a few sessions of Life Coaching at my practice in St
Albans to help uncover the things you value most in your life
and begin shaping your dreams. Motivational techniques can also
be applied if a sense of uncertainty prevents you from taking
the steps you need to make.

2. Listen to music that makes you feel good and switch off the
news! Often the news is depressing and can put you in a bad
state.

3. Make lots of notes. You never know when those good ideas
will sneak up on you and if you don't jot them down, they may be
forgotten.

4. Get inspired. Look at other people's creative work, either
in the field you are interested in, or just in the natural
environment around you.

5. Do some brainstorming around your chosen idea. This will
move it from pie in the sky to the specific steps you will need
to make.

6. Read books. Books are great for expanding ideas and are
"healthier" for your brain than watching the telly all the darn
time!

7. Keep your brain fit by doing crosswords, quizzes and
participating in creative and intelligent conversations.

8. Be healthy in your body. Your mind and your body are linked
so you need to look after both. Feed them healthy food and
exercise them both.

9. Write a list about how you will feel and how your life will
be affected by expressing your creativity. What will it mean to
you?

10. When you get an idea, do something about it, before someone
else beats you to it!

The Quiet Man - 4 Stars (Excellent)

No one ever said that filmmaking was easy, only that it
could be very good and sometimes enduring, as in "The Quiet
Man", starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara with legendary
Director John Ford.

Like a lot of great films, The Quiet Man is a story of the
conflict and conquest in the courtship of a man and a
woman. A woman determined to get her way, a brother
determined to keep his sister from the man she loves, and a
man determined to win the heart of the woman he marries.

Irish-born Sean Thornton (John "Duke" Wayne) is an American
who swears off being a professional fighter after
accidentally killing an opponent in the ring.

Returning to the Irish town of his birth, he starts a new
life and finds happiness when he falls in love with the
fiery Mary Kate Danaher (Maureen O'Hara).

Mary Kate's brother, Will "Red" Danaher (Victor McLaglen)
stands in their way. Without her brother's permission, she
cannot marry Sean. The male dominance in Irish culture
during this period is evident. Women were to obey, period.

Red Danaher resents the fact that Sean was able to purchase
his birth home adjacent to the Danaher's property. Danaher
had continually bid for the property next door but lost out
to the American "newcomer" and outsider.

Eventually Danaher is duped into letting Sean marry Mary
Kate, but initially he refuses to let Mary Kate take her
inheritance (furniture and a dowry). The villagers persuade
Red to give Mary Kate her furniture, but he stands fast on
the dowry.

For Mary Kate the 350 pounds sterling she is owed
represents a lot of money, but the breaking of tradition
and doing the right thing becomes an issue she cannot and
will not ignore, even for the sake of her marriage.

Mary Kate is a woman who, if nothing else, makes it clear
she will be dealt with despite her ill temper and
stubbornness. She believes that Sean is a coward for not
confronting her brother Red. Sean simply does not want to
accidentally kill another man in a fight over money.

When Mary Kate decides to leave her marriage and take the
train out of town, Sean goes into action. After dragging
Mary Kate off the train and through the pasture, the
longest fistfight in screen history erupts.

Once Mary Kate realizes that Sean will fight for her, she
is quite happy to return to their cottage and makes it
clear that dinner will be ready when Sean returns home. The
Duke (Sean) slugs it out with Kate's brother, eventually
wins, and wins back Kate's heart as well.

The story of The Quiet Man reminds me of William
Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew and its movie version
in 1967 starring Elizabeth Taylor as Katharina and Richard
Burton as Petruchio.

Katharina is cast as an ill-tempered, strong-willed,
opinionated, vocal, recalcitrant, unmanageable woman.
Petruchio manages to bring her around and when he does,
Katharina is content to do his bidding. I see a lot of Mary
Kate Danaher in Katharina.

The supporting cast of The Quiet Man is a collection of
Irishmen worthy of the name: Michaleen Oge Flynn (Barry
Fitzgerald), Father Peter Lonergan (Ward Bond), Father Paul
(James O'Hara) and The Widow Sarah Tillane (Mildred
Natwick) among others. And, yes, there are a lot of
relatives in this cast.

The Quiet Man was based on a 1933 Saturday Evening Post
short story by Maurice Walsh. Ford read the story in 1933
and purchased the rights to it for $10.

In 1944, John Ford, John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara made a
handshake agreement to do the film version, but it would
take another 8 years for Ford to raise the money necessary
to produce the film.

The Quiet Man was the first American feature to be filmed
in Ireland's picturesque countryside. The film almost never
happened as Ford was told by producers that a "silly Irish
story would not make a penny."

Finally Republic Pictures was approached and studio chief
Herbert Yates relented under the condition that Ford, Wayne
and O'Hara would also do a western for Republic, a sure
money-maker that would offset losses anticipated from The
Quiet Man. The result was the 1950 production of "Rio
Grande".

John Ford was more than interested in doing the film. His
real name was John Martin Feeney, his parents immigrated
from County Galway, Ireland and settled in Maine. Ford also
went by the name Sean O'Feeney.

Maureen O'Hara (real name Maureen Fitzsimons) was born in
County Dublin, Ireland, spoke Irish and used her Gaelic
language in the film. Her father was part owner of
Ireland's leading football team, the Shamrock Rovers.

John Wayne was half Irish. He appeared in more than 20 of
Ford's films, many of them low budget westerns and war
movies. The Duke said that of all the films he made, The
Quiet Man was his favorite.

Ford earned his 4th and last Best Director Oscar for The
Quiet Man in 1952. His other 3 Best Director Oscars were
for "The Informer" in 1935, "The Grapes of Wrath" in 1940
and "How Green Was My Valley" in 1941. Only How Green Was
My Valley won an Oscar for Best Picture.

Ford remains the only director in history to win 4 Best
Director Oscars. Two others—William Wyler and Frank
Capra—have won 3 times.

Ford received the American Film Institute's first Life
Achievement Award in 1973. He has been recognized as one of
the greatest directors of all time. His work had an
influence on directors Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg,
George Lucas, Sam Peckinpah, Peter Bogdanovich, Sergio
Leone, Jean-Luc-Godard and Akira Kurosawa.

The Quiet Man won a second Oscar for Best Cinematography
and was nominated for 5 other Oscars: Best Picture, Best
Actor in a Supporting Role (Victor McLaglen), Best Art
Direction, Best Sound and Best Writing (screenplay by Frank
Nugent). The Best Picture Oscar in 1952 went to "The
Greatest Show on Earth".

Action adventure freaks and lovers of unredeeming
modern-day films such as "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" will not be
able to stand The Quiet Man, which is very slow developing
yet offers a perfectly picturesque Irish setting for a real
love story.

The Quiet Man is an Irish movie filmed in Ireland for the
glory of Ireland, its people and its culture. I am only 15%
Irish and a third generation American, but always claim
that my 15% Irish heritage is the best part of me.

Are Cashback Credit Cards Worthwhile?
Whoever the person was at the Discover Card Corporation
that came up with the idea for cashback credit cards is a
true unsung hero in the world of banking and finance. After
all, this was a revolutionary idea. Today, while there are
a number of ways to make an application for a particular
credit card attractive in the early days there was little
more used to entice people other than offering low interest
rates or offering no annual fee. Then, someone at Discover
came up with the brilliant idea for a cashback credit card.
For those not familiar with this particular type of card,
its name implies exactly what it is: for every purchase on
the card you can get a certain amount of cash back. That
is, if you use the card at a specific retail store you may
receive a certain percentage of cash back on every
purchase. Needless to say, this idea proved wildly popular
and spawned a number of different cashback cards that
provide cash back on a number of services.

While this notion of receiving cash back on credit card
purchases seems like a great idea, there are those who may
be somewhat skeptical of the value and the benefits of such
a card. This is a fair and valid skeptical viewpoint. After
all, there have been many promotions that have proven to be
too good to be true so it is not surprising that a number
of people may look towards the various cash back credit
cards on the market and wonder if they are truly
worthwhile. This can be a somewhat difficult question to
answer because there are such a great variety of cashback
credit cards on the market that it would be difficult to
offer a blanket statement of whether or not the cards are
worthwhile. After all, some cards have terrible terms and
conditions and others have very fair terms and conditions.
However, if a generality had to be made it would be that
cashback credit cards are usually quite worthwhile if you
are looking for a minor discount on your purchasing budget.

If there were a criteria to base how worthwhile or not the
card is it would be based upon what percentage the cash
back represents. If the cash back purchase percentage is
low, then it may not necessarily be all that worthwhile to
make your purchases on the card. If the cash back
percentage is a fairly competitive amount, then the card
may have significantly more merit. Of course, if the
interest payments exceed the cash back amount then the
whole promotional aspect is a moot point. This can,
however, be avoided if the individual opts to pay the
balance completely in full every month. This would
eradicate interest payments and make the cash back value
increase significantly.

Another area that must be taken into consideration when it
comes to deciding whether or not a cashback card is
worthwhile centers on the method in which the card is paid
back. In some instances, the cashback is provided in the
form of adjusting (reducing) the statement balances and
others will pay the amount directly and mail a check. When
it comes to receiving a check, one must realize that there
may be a minimum cash out amount requirement. (For example,
$25 must be accrued in cash back "points" before a check
can be requested) The frequency of how often you use the
card will then play a significant role in defining whether
or not the cashback card it worthwhile. Additionally, there
will be some cashback cards that will only make their
payouts on an annual basis. Is waiting a year to collect
the money that you are owed acceptable? If it is, then the
card is worthwhile. If not, then the card simply will not
be worth it.

In a world extraordinarily focused on outward appearance, we
need only to open a magazine or turn on our televisions to see
the latest and greatest fashion trend; it walks the red carpet,
checks out a movie premier, and heads out nightly to the hottest
restaurants. And we, as a society always mindful of what's
popular, follows dutifully along, eager to purchase the "must
have" item of the season. But, ultimately, the fashion style
that works best for us is that which looks good on our
particular body and reflects our very individual personality.

As anyone who follows the fashion industry will tell you,
trends come and go. What is one year's hot item is the next
season's fashion "don't." Designers present their newest lines
and before you know it stores are carrying these clothes in
every conceivable variation. And then, just as quickly, they're
gone. It's almost impossible to keep pace. Luckily, the fashion
style that makes the most sense on an individual level is the
fashion style that reflects who we are as people; and that never
goes out of style.

The most important thing to remember is that just because a
particular fashion style is popular at the moment does not mean
that it will look good on your particular body. Wearing
something just for the sake of wearing it ultimately goes
against the principles of fashion. A fashion style that you
choose to wear should be something that accentuates your
positives, downplays your negatives, and complements the overall
line of your body.

Take the time to get to know your body and what styles work
best with it. Assess your body objectively; if you have trouble
spots, look for cuts and fabrics that camouflage what you need
them to camouflage; if you are on the shorter side, look for a
fashion style that elongates your body; and always choose colors
that complement your skin tone.

Once you find a style that works – stick with it and add your
personal touches to reflect your personality; that is the best
fashion style you can possibly wear.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Starting from the hotels in the centre of Florence, one of the
itineraries not to miss is the one of Piazza Santa Croce, one of
the most beautiful square of Florence. The square is in the
historical center, not far from the Duomo (15 minutes walking),
passing through Piazza della Signoria and Borgo dei Greci.
Although a map of the city is available, for free, in all of the
hotels halls of the centre of Florence. If your accommodation is
not so close to the centre many services are available to reach
the centre: taxi, driven car rentals, buses and train for who
arrive from the suburbs.

Piazza Santa Croce is placed in front of the church of Santa
Croce, in the centre of Florence, and take its name from it,
that square was built in medieval times to host the great number
of people that attended to the religius ceremonies. In
Renaissance times the square was also used to the fun activities
of Florence, as festivals, shows, rides and games like the
Calcio storico (Historical Football). This game, more similar to
the Rugby than to the modern football, was played the day of San
Giovanni (24 of June) in 3 matches within 4 teams, one team for
each of the historical quarter of Florence ("white" team for
Santo Spirito, "blue" team for Santa Croce, "red" team for Santa
Maria Novella and "greeen" team for San Giovanni).

Overlooking the square is the church of Santa Croce, that was
built from the Franciscan Friars between the 13th and 14th
century, with a facade built only in the 19th century in
neogothical style, that have on its left the monumental statue
of Dante Alighieri. Dated from the same period of the facade and
of the Dante's statue of the square, on the opposite side of the
church, there is a baroque fountain, originally realised by
Pietro Maria Bardi and remaed in the 19th century by Roberto
Manetti. Entering the church from the main door, walking along
the main aisle, is noticeable immediately the austerity and the
vastenss of the enviroments, and on the perimeter many chapels
(some of them frescoed by Giotto, Maso di Banco etc..)
destinated to the bury of the noble of Florence (Peruzzi, Bardi,
Baroncelli, Pulci.Bardi) that paid, with their donations, the
built of the church. Santa Croce is famous in the world also to
be the burial of many very important people of the policy, of
the history and of the litterture of Italy, here there are the
burial of Ugo Foscolo, Michelangelo, Galileo Galilei, Gioacchino
Rossini, Leon Battista Alberti, Vittorio Alfieri.

Next to the church there is one of the major convent of
Florence, today home of one beautiful museum, where are exposed
the ancient treasures of the church, like the crufix of Cimabue.

Over Piazza Santa Croce are overlooking many palaces too, some
of them especially beautiful. For example Palazzo dell'Antella
thet have a long facade decored, in the first years of the 17th
century, with frescoes representing themes of wisdoms and
divinity.

expect to be able to handle it. It's big, and there's a lot to
do. You need a plan…

You roll over and open your eyes, eager to meet the day, your
wife/girlfriend/best buddy/son/daughter appears and says,
"honey/babe/pardner/daddy, what do you want to do today?" The
best plan of attack is, like reading a book, start at the top
and work your way down…

Lodging

As a major vacation destination Lake Tahoe has thousands of
hotel and motel rooms, a stunning array of gambling
opportunities, and enough dining establishments to feed tens of
thousands! It you're into hole-in-the-wall burger or burrito
shops try Izzy's Burger Spa or Taco Taqueria in South Lake Tahoe
or T's Rotisserie in Incline. If you want something fancy poke
around in any of the bigger casinos in South Lake Tahoe, Incline
Village or Cristal Bay for some swanky four star dining. Of
course all the Ski Resorts, like Heavenly Tahoe, have some
awesome dining high up on their slopes that are open year round
and accessed via a tram or gondola ride.

Tahoe has every kind of room for you from discount economy
lodging to high end luxury hotels with casino gambling just
steps away. If your tastes and budget fall somewhere in between
you'll have no trouble finding exactly what you're looking for.
Specials and deals on lodging and dining rates abound as you
would expect for such a popular destination.

Shopping and Concerts in Tahoe

If you're not quite equipped for a rugged adventure of mountain
climbing and grueling backpacking, you can hit the awesome
shopping centers and gambling in the town of South Lake Tahoe,
or line up tickets to the nightly concerts by national headliner
musicians and comedians at the casino showrooms all around the
Nevada side of the lake. From our awesome local bands playing
intimate concerts at small venues to huge stage productions with
big-name artists, Tahoe gets the best concert acts in the
country. Or enjoy the Lake Tahoe Shakespeaer Festival
(http://www.laketahoeshakespeare.com/)

Roll over the mountains to Reno, Nevada for a series of free
concerts through the summer in Wingfield park
(http://www.renoriver.org/events.html) and the plaza at Harrah's
in downtown Reno.

Lake Tahoe Summer Adventures

There are lots of adventures to be had in Tahoe, but the two
basic types are Land Adventures and Water Adventures.

Land Adventures

There's a lot to do in Lake Tahoe for lovers of the outdoors in
the summer time, so start with the easiest and tamest and move
up to the hardest and most extreme. We get a bit of sun and good
weather. Typical summer temps range from overnight lows in the
40's and high in the 80's: (averages). It get's plenty warm for
hiking, biking or horseback riding and even camping, and we
hardly ever get rain in the summer time.

Tahoe Mountain Biking and Hiking

Some would say that Tahoe is the best place on the west coast
for epic cross-country mountain biking, some would say the
country, some would say the world. And you need look no further
than the Tahoe Rim Trail (tahoerimtrail.org) to get started. Bar
none, the best off road biking, remote wilderness hiking and
backpacking in the Tahoe Basin can be found somewhere on this
150 mile long scenic trail. It's just a matter of how far you
want to ride or hike to get it.

By far the most popular section of the TRT for hiking and
biking is the Flume Trail (theflumetrail.com). The Flume Trail
began life as a siphon waterway from Incline Village, Nevada on
the east shore of Lake Tahoe over the Carson Range, down the
Truckee Meadows, and up to Virginia City, NV high in the
Virginia Range. (http://parks.nv.gov/ltbc.htm)

To access the flume park either at the Tahoe Meadows trailhead
at Mt. Rose Pass on HWY 431, or at Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park
on HWY 50 at Spooner Summit (http://parks.nv.gov/lt.htm). Get a
map when you rent a bike or arrange your shuttle ride at any of
the great local shops. Both rides finish just outside Incline
Village, NV where you can ride down to the beach to cool off at
Sand Harbor State Park (http://parks.nv.gov/lt.htm), or head
into town for burritos, burgers, beer and rest after a long
ride.

In the summer you can ride the Heavenly tram or gondola and go
for a hike, enjoy the views or grab a bite to eat at the
Adventure Peak Grill, a full-service outdoor restaurant and bar.
Tahoe Road Biking

Several times through the summer you can get in on a large
group ride that goes all the way around Lake Tahoe on smooth
paved roads. The 72 mile ride around the lake is perhaps the
most popular long ride. It has high traffic in areas, and has
long strenuous climbs. The popular Death Ride
(http://www.deathride.com/) organized by a local bike club is
held every July and covers 129 miles and 15,000 feet of
climbing. Also, the Tahoe Sierra Century
(http://www.tahoesierracentury.com/) runs every September and
circumnavigates Lake Tahoe on a supported bike tour.

Camping and backpacking in Tahoe

Though Tahoe is most known for its hotels, restaurants and
casinos, some people prefer to camp on their vacation. And
honestly, if you're looking for a real adventure, you should be
sleeping on the ground.

There are lots of options for camping right down on the lake at
Nevada Beach just minutes from Stateline and South Lake Tahoe
along highway 50 in Roundhill, Nevada. You can see sunset views
over Mt. Tallac and the Desolation Wilderness right from your
campfire.

Or, get way off the trail on an overnight excursion into the
Desolation Wilderness
(http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/ltbmu/recreation/wilderness/desowild/).
Permits
(http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/ltbmu/recreation/wilderness/desowild/permits.shtml)
are required, so pick one up at the Ranger Station near Camp
Richardson on your way to the trailhead. The scenic Pacific
Crest Trail (http://www.pcta.org/) skirts the western rim of the
Tahoe Basin, and the Tahoe Rim Trail
(http://www.tahoerimtrail.org/) completes the 150 mile loop for
a two week backpacking trek with resupply stops every few days.
Tahoe Water Adventures

Lake Tahoe is a large body of water. As the second deepest lake
in the United States it is 1,637 feet deep, 22 miles long and 12
miles wide. So there's more than enough space on its shimmering
surface for any kind of water recreation you can imagine.

Waterskiing

All summer sail boats stream across the lake and motor boats
tug around happy people waterskiing, tubing and wakeboarding.
Water temps are 65 to 70 degrees, but you wouldn't be sorry if
you wore a wetsuit.

Skiing, tubing and wakeboarding are really popular on Tahoe.
The many public, private and secluded beaches are great places
to launch a day of motor boating with family and friends. And
the Sierra Nevada Mountains, holding snow well into the summer,
makes a great backdrop to the festivities.

Tahoe Beaches

If all you want is to sit on the beach and float around in a
raft, Tahoe is easy, it will oblige. You can go to DL Bliss
State Park, Pope Beach or Zephyr Cove for a full service
experience with food, beverages and kayak rentals or Hidden
Beach in Incline or one of the many access points around the
lake for a more rustic natural lakeside experience.

In Tahoe City you can rent a tube or raft and float several
miles down the Truckee River. Trips start near the outlet of
Lake Tahoe where highways 28 and 89 intersect and end several
miles down a scenic calm lazy river.

If you want to get out on the lake away from shore you'll need
the help of a motorboat. Rentals are available all around the
lake and you can rent anything from a kayak to a large cabin
cruiser. (http://www.boattahoe.com/boat_rentals.htm)

Fishing in Tahoe

As a large open expanse of fresh water, Tahoe has some
spectacular fishing opportunities! Whether you're trolling out
in the open or fly-casting in the rocky shallows you can find
lake trout as big as 10 pounds! Mackinaw trout, German Brown and
Kokanee are the common sport fish in the lake.

Many lakes and streams dot the mountainous region around the
Tahoe Basin so there is no shortage of water to fish.

Enjoy it while it lasts!

At some point you make it back to bed. Either sun-baked and
tired, or content from an entertaining day in town, but you have
to rest, so you can get up and do it again. Lake Tahoe isn't
going anywhere and the fun things to do there are just getting
better! But your vacation can't last forever. So plan your
attack to take advantage of everything Tahoe has to offer.

Character development seems so easy when we think about legends
like Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse or even modern cartoon
characters like SpongeBob but is it as simple as it looks like?
That seeming simplicity of designing a character is actually a
tricky task. The following tips will not make that task easy but
they may help you through the process of character development.

The toughest part of developing a character is the very
beginning. Now it is time to plan and write down everything.
Anything that comes to your mind about your character is worth
writing down because you can never know exactly which odd detail
from your sketch will actually stand out in the story.

What is your character's target audience? Where will your
character be seen? What are your character vices and strong
qualities? What will be the typical daily schedule of your
character? What are the pet peeves of your character? Does your
character have a nickname? These are all details that can have a
bearing on your character's appearance.

Experiment, try something different.

You never know which queer detail will distinguish your
character and grab people's attention. Don't concentrate only on
those parts of the character that are closely connected with the
story. Ignore all rules and try something unusual – a peculiar
skin color, twice bigger than the normal-sized head, exaggerated
features.

Give your character a personality.

Characters that lack individuality will lack people's interest
in them too. How will your character express his or her
emotions? Is your character communicative or shy? Is your
character evil or good? Does your character own strength of
will? Does your character have any dreams, any goals? These are
all parts of your character's personality and it can all be
conveyed in the way your character has been drawn.

Think 3D.

Don't forget that even on a two-dimensional surface your
character has more than one side. Think of your character in its
entirety and see how he or she would look like from every
viewpoint.

Think in motion.

The image of your character may be static but the character
itself is probably not. Consider how you character would look in
motion. Is there anything unique in his or her movement – does
your character have a belly that trembles when the character is
walking, is he or she hopping along, etc.?

Test your creation.

Show your work and ask people to describe how they see your
character's personality judging only by its appearance. This is
a great way to test whether you have conveyed well the
personality you want.

And last but not least – be patient!

No matter how great your talent is, you should always be
prepared for some struggle when developing your character. Don't
allow yourself to get discouraged if a certain feature does not
fit the way you would like or if your character does not quite
convey the desired mood. Creating a character requires you to
give life to a drawing and that is never a simple task.

"Tipping the Velvet" Is First Alternative Lifestyle Film with an Educational Message - Part 1

Tipping the Velvet - 4 Stars (Excellent)

"Tipping the Velvet" is what some viewers would consider a
terrible film about a sinful, raunchy lifestyle, and what I
would consider an excellent film despite any apparent
raunchiness.

After writing 135 reviews, including what I would consider
8 alternative lifestyle films, Tipping the Velvet is the
absolute best film and only the second film among the 8 in
this genre that I would recommend seeing.

Here are the films I considered terrible and the reasons
why. I gave a "1 Star - Terrible Rating" to these 6 films:

"Boys Don't Cry" which won Hilary Swank a Best Actress
Oscar for her performance as Brandon Teena, a transgendered
teen who was born a woman named Teena Brandon who preferred
life as a male and lived as a male until it was discovered
that "he" was born female. This film had a very tragic
ending.

"Ed Wood" which was the real life story of Ed Wood, known
as the worst film director in Hollywood history. He liked
to dress in women's clothes while directing low-budget,
absolutely terrible films.

"Imagine Me & You" shows a bride at the altar simply
looking at another woman and starting an awakening that
leads to the destruction of her marriage and living happily
ever after with her new lesbian partner.

"Myra Breckenridge" is Gore Vidal's controversial film
about Myron Breckenridge, a man who goes to Europe for a
sex change operation and comes back as Myra Breckenridge, a
man-hating woman.

"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" finds a newly engaged
couple whose car breaks down and they seek help from a
Transylvanian transvestite involved in a bizarre lifestyle.

This was one of Susan Sarandon's early films; she would
later earn 4 Academy Award nominations for Best Actress,
and an Oscar for her role in "Dead Man Walking".

"Transamerica" which won Felicity Huffman a Best Actress
Oscar nomination and a Best Actress Golden Globe Award for
her performance as Bree, a pre-operative male-to-female
transsexual who takes an unexpected journey from Los
Angeles to New York when she learns that she fathered a son
earlier in life.

Receiving my "2 Star - Average Rating" were:

"The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" which
has two drag queens and a transsexual driving a lavender
bus named Priscilla across the Australian desert to a gig
at an isolated resort.

"Breakfast on Pluto" is a gender preference movie about a
boy who really wants to be a girl, and settles for being a
transvestite trying to find a place in a world that curses
his very existence.

The best of these 8 films is Breakfast on Pluto, which has
Irish actor Cillian Murphy in the role of Patrick "Kitten"
Braden. I recommend seeing Breakfast on Pluto as it is far
better than the other 7 films, and Cillian Murphy proves
passable as a woman and gives a great performance.

All of these films are controversial due to their subject
matter.

It is very difficult to make a great film.

It is difficult to make a good film.

It is almost impossible to make a good film when the
subject matter is not even on the radar acceptance screen
of the average viewer.

Alternative lifestyle films do not win awards even if the
actors involved get an Oscar (as Hilary Swank did in Boys
Don't Cry), get nominated for an Oscar (as Felicity Huffman
did in Transamerica) or get nominated for a Golden Globe
(as Cillian Murphy did in Breakfast on Pluto).

The typical moviegoer does not want to talk about
alternative lifestyles much less see them. We are
uncomfortable with what we do not know or understand.

There will be no great acceptance for alternative films now
or in the distant future. Hollywood is OK with accepting
alternative lifestyles, but Hollywood is generally far more
liberal, permissive and self-absorbed than mainstream
America.

A big part of the acceptance problem is the Hollywood
filmmakers. Producers of alternative lifestyle films have
millions of moviegoers glued to their presentation, but
they continually fail to deliver an important message
involving understanding and knowledge.

With a laser beam on sensationalism and the cash register,
Hollywood filmmakers would have us believe that it is
impossible to tell a good alternative lifestyle story with
significant meaning without using intensely brutal rape
scenes, sexuality, filthy language, drug usage and murder.

All of these aforementioned events only reinforce all of
the stereotypes, prejudices, bigotry, stupidity and
transphobia already present in our society and culture.

I am not sure what the phobia is for transgendered people
so I simply created transphobia because homophobia means an
extreme and irrational aversion to homosexuality and
homosexual people, which is not what we are talking about
here.

And then there is Tipping the Velvet which does exactly
that: tell a good alternative lifestyle story with
significant meaning.

Just as Breakfast on Pluto is a good film made in Ireland,
Tipping the Velvet is an excellent film produced in England
for the BBC (British Broadcasting Company) by Sally Head
Production.

The BBC brought this controversial movie to a 5-millon
strong mainstream television audience. An American
filmmaker has not yet been able to produce a quality
alternative lifestyle film for television. Tipping the
Velvet is really three stories in one as it was originally
aired in three parts and runs 2 hours and 57 minutes.

Father's Day Flowers Fit For Any Dad

Father's Day is approaching fast and you still have no idea what
to get your dad, do you? Well, you could buy him yet another tie
with his favorite cartoon character, loud stripes, or polka dots
on it. But, since you've been getting him a tie every year since
you were just a little kid, he probably has more ties than he
could ever wear. Or, you could get him another bottle of cologne
to add to the dusty collection already in his bathroom cabinet.
Hmmm...doesn't sound promising, does it? Well, I've got the
perfect solution that will fit any dad's style-flowers!

Flowers are surely a gift he won't be expecting, and
furthermore, you can personalize them to fit your dad, no matter
what his interests. Your florist can help you make the perfect
floral arrangement that your dad is sure to love, and can make
the gift fit virtually any hobby. Wondering how your florist
could create a floral gift that your motorcycle enthusiast, grill
master, fishing "expert," woodworker, or computer fanatic dad
would love? Keep reading!

* Motorcycle Enthusiast: Provide your florist with a small model
motorcycle, new motorcycle gloves, or some other riding accessory
and have it built into the floral arrangement. You could even
have an arrangement made in a helmet!

* Grill Master: Have your florist create a colorful gift of
flowers to match a set of grilling spices. Or, make up a box or
basket containing flowers in one side and some grilling
accessories (tongs, turner, meat fork, mitt, apron, etc.) in the
other.

* Fishing Expert: For the dad who loves to fish, bring in some
new fishing lures and ask your florist to work them into the
arrangement. You could also have a floral arrangement created in
a new tackle box.

* Woodworker: Your florist can create an arrangement using some
new tools, such as wood files or clamps. He or she can also
incorporate plans for a new project or popular woodworking
magazines.

* Computer Fanatic: For the dad who spends his day pointing and
clicking, how about a floral arrangement with a new mouse pad,
mouse, software, or discs?

Even hobbies that are the most seemingly incompatible with a gift
of flowers can be incorporated into a flower arrangement for
Father's Day. I've presented a few ideas for many of the dad's
out there, but if your dad doesn't fit into any of the above,
your local florist is sure to have even more great ideas. The
important thing here is to be creative and think from your heart.
Your dad is special, make his day special with a gift of
personalized flowers.

"Tipping the Velvet" Is First Alternative Lifestyle Film with an Educational Message - Part 2
Copyright © 2007 Ed Bagley

Tipping the Velvet - 4 Stars (Excellent)

What makes Tipping the Velvet an excellent film is its
talented cast with a great presentation, and it has a
life-changing, meaningful message by a lesbian about
innocence, desire, passion, betrayal, empathy, change,
independence, resourcefulness, vision, love and happiness
while retaining a sense of self-worth and self-esteem.

It is incredibly unusual to see an alternative lifestyle
film with a happy ending.

I review controversial films because they are ultimately
about relationships and relationships are the foundation of
our lives.

As I grow older I understand that the most important things
in my life have nothing to do with money or material
things, and everything to do with my relationships
involving my wife, my children, my grandchildren, extended
family and friends.

What matters over the long haul is the well-being of
people, not whether we agree or disagree with their
lifestyle choices.

The BBC has done a tremendous service in bringing this
movie to television with the quality of a BBC broadcast
that includes great writing, great sound, great
cinematography, great direction and a great cast.

Based on Sarah Waters' acclaimed debut novel, Tipping the
Velvet was adapted by Andrew Davies, an Emmy award-winning
British screenwriter who has also written "Doctor Zhivago",
"Bridget Jone's Diary", "Sense and Sensibility", "Vanity
Fair" and "Pride and Prejudice". Davies is a very talented
heavyweight.

Tipping the Velvet tells the story of Nan Ashley (Rachael
Starling, the real life daughter of Diana Rigg) who shucks
oysters and serves customers at her father's seaside
restaurant in Victorian England during the 1890's.

Nan's mundane life turns upside down when she sees an
extraordinary performance by an attractive traveling male
impersonator named Kitty Butler (Keeley Haws). Nan's
innocent interest is fueled when she is asked by Kitty to
become her dresser while she is performing in Whitstable.

When Kitty is recruited by Walter Bliss (John Bowe), and
heads to London to become a big time entertainer, she
invites Nan to accompany her as her dresser. Nan falls in
love with Kitty, joins her act as a performer and
ultimately the two become secret lovers.

For Nan the relationship is euphoric and her happiness real
until she returns from a vacation trip home and discovers
that Kitty and her manager Walter have become lovers and
are to marry.

Nan's initial innocence and desire are now confronted by
betrayal and rejection. Despite being devastated, Nan
awakes from her stupor and asserts her independence by
walking the streets of London disguised as a young man for
hire, performing oral sex so she can survive. When she is
assaulted, Nan is rescued by a rich widow who gives her
every comfort in exchange for lesbian sex. Nan becomes a
prisoner and slave to her passions for pleasing and being
pleased.

Eventually there is a tiff and the widow, Diana Leathaby
(Anna Chancellor), throws Nan out, where she is left
penniless and alone to fend for herself with nothing but
the clothes on her back. Despite her misfortune, Nan vows
to survive. Nan now learns the plight of those in need and
turns for help to the only person she can remember,
Florence Banner (Jodhi May), who she had met earlier in
better days.

Florence and the brother Ralph Banner (Hugh Bonneville)
reluctantly take in the battered and exhausted Nan for a
night, but Nan is determined to change her ways. She
becomes resourceful in convincing Florence and Ralph that
she can clean, cook, and watch the baby that the Banners
are raising.

Nan's vision is to make herself so indispensable that she
will remain welcome in the Banner home despite her 7-year
journey from innocence to unbridled passion to debauchery,
recovery and finally well-being and acceptance. Ultimately
Nan and Florence fall in love. Then Kitty returns to Nan's
life once again when Kitty, wishing to resume her torrid
relationship with Nan, learns that Nan is back performing
on stage.

Nan is then forced to decide between the attractive,
passionate Kitty and the more loyal, loving Florence. For
once, Nan makes a wise choice in staying with Florence,
finding the love and happiness she wanted but had never
possessed. The ending is what makes Tipping the Velvet an
excellent movie. When all is said and done, Nan and
Florence survive in their relationship as well-adjusted
adults who find each other and continue living with their
self-esteem and self-worth intact.

Other than a few awards from lesbian theater groups,
Tipping the Velvet was ignored by the critics, and
especially Hollywood. This is why I write reviews, to
separate the wheat from the chaff and recognize substance
in filmmaking wherever it exists.

The more knowledge and understanding we have of people,
races, cultures, mores and lifestyles, the sooner we come
to understand that we are all connected. We tend to value
acceptance and tolerance only when it is taken from us.
"Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the
discomfort of thought." John F. Kennedy said it, and I
believe it.

And what does "tipping the velvet" mean? See the movie, not
to find out what tipping the velvet means but because it is
an excellent film on alternative lifestyles. Support films
that increase understanding and acceptance.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Shopping for a home equity line of credit (HELOC) is a
relatively simple process compared to shopping for a mortgage
mainly because with a HELOC the most important features you need
to look for are the same from one lender to another. Still,
HELOC has some specific characteristics you need to be familiar
with in order to shop successfully.

Here are some of the most important features of home equity
lines of credit you should understand and examine when shopping
for a HELOC.

Risk exposure:

Before you decide to apply for a home equity line of credit you
should be well aware of the risks involved and particularly the
higher exposure to interest rate risk. HELOC is an adjustable
rate line of credit, rather than a loan for a specified amount,
and its interest rate adjusts every time there is a change in
the prime rate, on the first day of the month following the
change. This characteristic makes HELOCs riskier in case of
interest rate increasing than the standard ARMs which have
longer periods for adjustment.

Interest rate charges and margins:

Generally, all HELOCs are tied to the prime rate, as stated in
the Wall Street Journal. This considerably facilitates their
shopping in contrast to adjustable rate mortgages, for example,
which can be tied to different indexes and require more
researching.

However, HELOCs typically charge variable rather than fixed
interest rates. In order to obtain the interest rate the
borrower will be charged, a certain amount, known as margin, is
added to the prime rate. Borrowers, shopping for HELOC, should
always find out what the margin is because it varies among
different lenders.

Lenders of home equity lines would typically offer a
temporarily discounted, low interest rate lasting for a
relatively short introductory period (for example 6 months).
After the introductory period ends the rate is based on the
prime rate plus the margin.

Minimum draw limits:

One of the things the borrower needs to look for when applying
for a home equity line of credit is whether there are a minimum
draw limits, or a minimum average loan balance. Some plans have
limitations on how you use the HELOC and may require a minimum
draw amount each time you borrow money and the keeping of a
minimum amount outstanding.

HELOC costs and fees:

Many of the up-front costs and fees of setting up a home equity
line of credit are of the same type as on regular mortgages.
Such charges include a property appraisal fee, an application
fee, and points (though HELOC lenders seldom charge points). In
addition to those, HELOC shoppers would have to pay an annual
fee (which is often waived the first year) and a cancellation
fee (which is often waived after 3 years).

If you are shopping for a home equity line of credit you should
examine and evaluate each of the above features to ensure that
the terms of the HELOC plan you choose corresponds to your
borrowing needs. Always have in mind that failure to repay the
lines of credit may cost you the loss of your home.
