================== ARTICLE START ==================
Social security and its future are one of the most
controversial issues discussed in politics today, with many
different views and outlooks taking center stage. The law that
was designed by Franklin D. Roosevelt to protect the elderly and
provide services and compensation to them in retirement finds
itself in a completely different context today than it was
seventy years ago.

Yet, change is nothing new—it is a daily occurrence that has
affected social security before, and that will continue to
affect social security in the future. Understanding both sides
of the issue of social security is vital to ensuring a positive
future for this country.

Briefings On The Beginning

The beginnings of social security can be traced back to the
tragedy of the nineteen thirties—the Great Depression. It was
passed as part of the New Deal, and was very controversial at
the time because it was believed that it would lead to a loss of
jobs. Yet, the program prevailed. Payroll taxes were first
collected in 1937, and retirement benefits were paid that same
year.

Changes Throughout The Years

The Social Security Act has proven to be a very flexible
program, as it has been altered and changed several times over
the years. This is not surprising when taking into consideration
the dramatic changes that have occurred in the workforce since
its original implementation. The act was expanded in 1939 to
encompass farmers and to provide benefits to spouses. Medicare
was added in the 1960s. More changes were made in the seventies
and eighties. If it was changed in the past, what is stopping it
from being changed to meet the needs of the future?

The Problem Of People

Currently, 163 million workers are earning Social Security
protection, and Social Security provides benefits to about 50
million people. The future problems associated with Social
Security revolve around changing demographics. While the average
remaining life span of a 65 year old in 1935 was about 12 years,
it is currently 18 years. This increase in average life span is
one of the major factors contributing to the uncertainty of the
future of Social Security.

Another factor is the retirement of the baby boomer's. The
fifties and early sixties saw a huge increase in reproduction,
and it is these offspring who will be retiring beginning in the
next several years. At the same time that Social Security will
need to accommodate more retirees, the amount of people paying
taxes on Social Security will decrease from 3.3 people per
retiree today to 2.1 people per retiree in 2032. It is the
combination of these problems that is causing the panic
regarding Social Security's future.

Solving The Problem

There are many solutions being discussed regarding the Social
Security program, and each of them would mean a trade off for
Americans. Two of the solutions are somewhat obvious: increase
the payroll tax, and decrease the amount of services provided to
beneficiaries. These solutions would have obvious ramifications,
and might only cause more problems for the future of Social
Security than they would solve.

Another possible solution is to allow for early investment in
Social Security in the form of a "pre funding" voluntary Social
Security savings account. Although workers are currently unable
to contribute to their Social Security funds before they retire,
this proposal would allow them to do so. Critics say this plan
would be expensive to manage, and it would be risky for
beneficiaries as well.

A Middle Ground

Just as with any important issue, it would be nearly impossible
to find a solution that would please everyone. Yet, the past of
Social Security gives some hope for its future. If Social
Security was fluid enough to be changed in the past, then we can
have faith that it will be strong enough to handle any future
changes.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
The royal kingdom of Nepal (though Nepal recently became a
democratic nation), is the only Hindu country in the world.
Nestled in the lap of the majestic Himalayas, Nepal shares
borders with two of the fastest growing economies in the world –
India and China. A natural wonder, this tiny nation is very
diverse both in geographical as well as cultural sense, and
offers many amazing and wonderful natural sights. With colorful
festivals, incomparable natural bounty, warmth, hospitality, and
plenty of fresh mountain air, Nepal is a land of volunteering
opportunities. Not only does volunteering in Nepal promise a
rewarding and enriching experience, it also offers you the rare
chance to explore the beautiful Himalayan kingdom while serving
the poor, the women, and giving the people of this country hope
for a better tomorrow.

Why Volunteer In Nepal

Volunteering in Nepal is a once in a lifetime opportunity for
all of you who wish to undertake a meaningful journey and do
their bit towards making this world a better place for all. With
numerous volunteer work opportunities such as serving poor
children and women, teaching languages, working on health
projects, conservation work, etc., you will get to spend time in
three of the bustling cities of Nepal – Kathmandu (capital),
Pokhara, and Chitwan. Of course, volunteering in Nepal requires
you to be patient, open-minded, and humble when interacting and
working with the locals.

Types Of Projects Available

Though there are several volunteer programs available in Nepal,
some of the most common ones (which have a higher demand for
volunteers) are supporting local orphanages, local schools,
teaching English, and working with health centers. Almost all
volunteering in Nepal projects are available in Chitwan,
Pokhara, and Kathmandu.

As a part of volunteering in Nepal, you have the opportunity to
choose the kind of project you are interested to volunteer in.
The different types of volunteer projects available in Nepal
include:

Teaching English: This volunteering in Nepal program requires,
volunteers to be placed in various local schools to teach
conversation and reading level English to Nepali children. Just
as English is an important skill for a good job placement in the
world, Nepal is no different. The requirement of English
speaking work force is on the rise in the country. To teach
Nepali children English, you don't require any formal teaching
qualification. However, you do need a good command of spoken as
well as written English, lot of patience, and unquenchable
enthusiasm.

Children's Homes: In Nepal, volunteers will get the opportunity
to act as a big brother or sister to many of the Nepali orphans
who live in orphanages across the country. You will also be
required to help with cleaning, gardening, doing repairs,
planning activities etc.

Health Education: Health education volunteering in Nepal means
working closely with children's homes. The key focus area is on
preventative measures by educating Nepali children about regular
basic health check-ups, administering necessary childhood
immunizations, personal hygiene, and sanitation as a disease
prevention method. For this program, you need to be either a
medical student or an advanced degree holder in medicine.

Community Maintenance Program: This involves practical
application in village settings. Some of the community
maintenance projects include painting or plastering, however,
those of you with additional skill sets can help in more
advanced work. You'll get to work alongside villagers, learning
about traditional methods of building and working.

Home Stay/Cultural Exchange: A short volunteering program, this
is also a wonderful way to get the best value out of your time
in Nepal. You will be staying with a Nepali family in a small
rural village or even within a city. During the duration of your
stay you will learn about all aspects of Nepali culture,
lifestyle, food, as well as attend couple of hours of language
sessions twice in the day.

Volunteer Requirements

The two most important requirements for volunteering in Nepal
are:

• Age - 18 years or older
• Health - no major health problems

Volunteering in Brazil programs is open to participants from
all over the world and to individuals, families, and couples.

Fee and Other details

There are fees attached for every volunteering project you opt
for. The fee is charged in advance and is applied for
accommodation, food/meals, travel insurance, etc. The project
coordinator takes care of most of your needs as a volunteer in
Nepal throughout the duration of the project that varies from 7
days to 4 weeks.

Conclusion

Volunteering in Nepal is your chance to learn a new culture as
well as contribute toward the society.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
The BMW M3 has an illustrious, rich, and long lineage since its
inception back in 1986 to presently, it has included many
distinct concepts and design of cars, and many distinct names
from the original E30 M3 to the current M3 2008. This is the
forth generation of the M3 cars, it is designed and manufactured
by BMW M GmbH aiming to breathe futuristic life into a new
addition to a long family tree, with general high performance,
comfort and safety. The car was launched in 2007 with
exceptional special features, supreme design concepts, and a lot
of technological gadgets. Its foundations are based strongly on
the 3 series Coupe, and is set to carry on the legacy of both
motorsport racing and on the road driving. The M3 2008 has a
very unique, superior character with excellent driving
advancements that will make it a contender in the market and on
the racetrack.

The new BMW M3 first priority is the issue of sophistication,
and high quality everything and the interior is definitely no
different as the perfectly mannered insides are available with a
wide range of accents to fully customize it to the drivers
individual tastes. The choice of interior range from high
quality colours, various materials, BMW individualized high-end
audio system that tailored to the car, design eccentric paints,
and latest drive enhancing gadgets. It's another car to utilize
BMW lightweight construction technology to maximize movement,
and aerodynamics. The M3 2008 is the very first of the M3s
models to have very innovative carbon fibre attributes, like
that fact that carbon fibre used as a light weight component to
decrease weight and lower the car's centre of gravity, and a
carbon fibre strengthened roof. The car itself weighs in at
3649lbs, as the suspension and chassis are made out of aluminum,
reflecting the further innovation of "intelligent lightweight
construction".

BMW has decided the new M3 be something reflecting the future,
and therefore did something that they have never done before
regarding a M3, and that is placing an 8 cylinder engine into
the car. The new engine has been design to displacing 3,999cc as
a 4 litre V8, 8 cylinder attains a max power output of 420hp
(309kW) with a torque of 400Nm (295lb-ft) at 3,900rpm. But
shockingly still, 85% of the V8's climax torque is accessible to
the driver all through the extraordinary speed sweep of
6,500rpm. This remarkable development permits the driver to an
euphoric driving experience, as the engine revs up to planes of
8,400rpm, giving faultless performances continually. The
transmission consists of a six speed manual gearbox with
combined, temperature-connected oil cooling, mass inertia
enhanced double-coated clutch, also featuring and interacting
with "final drive". The M3 2008 accelerates from 0-62mph in just
4.8 seconds, and has realized a top speed of 155mph. And the
achieved a weight per horsepower of 8.7lbs per hp, along with a
power to weight ratio of 3.8kg/ hp.

The BMW M3 2008 power is suggestive to that of a thoroughbred
racing car on the tracks. The car is a complete athlete all
around, both in looks and in driving ability and potential. The
M3 2008 is a real life powerhouse, that will live up to the
trendsetting already done by its predecessors, and blaze a trail
all its own.

In perfume business Chanel is a name so well known. Its not
only a best perfume. Chanel is about Class And Elegance. People
will recognize it by its distinctive logo. It is one of the most
highly regarded of all perfumes.

Watch out for Chanel Dummies

Due to Chanel perfume's quality and brand name, unfortunately
there are also many imitations that are doing the rounds,
especially in the third world countries where trademarks are not
as rigidly protected as in the West.

What it is about Chanel perfume that sets it apart from the
rest and why women cannot do without it?

To answer the above questions you have to consider the vision
of its founder Coco Chanel who wished for women to wear perfumes
that gave them a sense of freedom and of belonging to an
important part of society. Though she may not have realized just
how well her vision would become reality, today there is no
denying the fact that Chanel perfumes are the very epitome of
perfumes.

Chanel and Celebrities

Today almost all the famous personalities in the world
including of course the Hollywood beauties wear Chanel perfume.
This contributes to the popularity and glamor associated with
such a brand of which Chanel Number 5 is a good example. Such
free advertising and also the effect of celebrities endorsing
Chanel perfume has made millions of women want to own a bottle
of such perfume for them, thus contributing to the success of
this brand even more.

Hundred years of experience

With hundred years of experience in selling its brand, it is no
accident that today everyone wants to own Chanel perfume and all
that a woman needs today is to walk into a department store
where there are sure to be shelves filled with Chanel perfume
bottles of different sizes, fragrances and shapes.

Chanel Perfume Varieties and Body Lotion

There are many varieties of Chanel perfumes and body lotions.
Following are few of them

Chanel Cristalle 3.4 oz EDT
Chanel Chanel No. 19
Chanel ALLURE 6.7 oz body lotion
Chanel COCO MADEMOISELLE 6.8 oz body lotion

Chanel No. 5

Chanel No. 5 is a very popular brand. It was the brainchild of
Ernest Beaux. It contains ylang-ylang and also neroli and blends
of jasmine as well as rose makes for a very alluring perfume
indeed.

Though no one except insiders really know the exact blend,
there is no doubting its popularity and it is believed that a
bottle of Chanel No. 5 is sold once every thirty seconds. Chanel
boasts this perfume as "a woman's fragrance that smells like
Woman."

Chanel No. 5 is certainly filling the coffers of its maker
while proving it a huge success with the public as well. Now you
have this brand as a purse spray also. Check with your local
store or online. If you want to know more No.5's history, check
with the chanel website.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Fastforward; today is November 5, the popular vote has been
registered, the people have spoken. They have cast their ballot
and voted for the 44th President of the United States of
America.

However, that Office is not yet secured. There is a second
election. It is the real election. It is the one that counts
from the office of the electoral college.

Yes "we the people" really don't have a say in who get's
elected to this high office. But we do get to elect the people
who will speak in our behalf.

It is amazing how many in the US are in the dark about our
indirect voting procedure. And so it is with constitutional law
that we engage in this charade, that starts off with,
ironically, "We the people...

So remember when you vote it is your state electorate that will
speak for you so make sure you select the ones who will support
your vote... else it does become a waste.

So let's examine America's possible future, will you?

There are many possibilities with some representing profound
changes in the way we see ourselves and some with, shall I say,
"business as usual" outcomes.

These profound possibilities are crossroads for America. For
two centuries this country, consisting as a melting pot, an
amalgamation of all the people in the world, has consistently
selected leaders that represent only one group, one type of
leader.

This year for the first time in the history of this country,
there is an opportunity to change that. This opportunity is seen
in two politicians who have rose to prominence amongst the
people.

These two politicians are representatives of different groups
in the population of America. There is a Women and a Black.

Both of these groups were legally restricted in the course of
our nation from voting and from having property.

Yes, it took a great deal of effort and growth from this nation
to break with the old and ring in the new way when it came to
both women and blacks.

So here on November 4 and 11, we have made our decision at this
crossroad and selected representatives of both groups.

Is this progress for America or is this a set back?

Now let's revisit this moment in history. Again, it is November
4 and 11 and we have made our decision as a people.

This time, we have decided to continue with business as usual.
We have elected our leader from the same group that we have for
the last two centuries. Is this progress or a set back?

In both cases, we sit at the crossroads of the destiny of a
nation. This is the crossroad that all great nations must pass
through. So what will this tell us about this nation? Will we
have come to that stage that makes a nation truly great in spite
of itself or will we fall back in fear of what might be and
abandon the chance to grow as a nation.

Though these are real possible outcomes, it really boils down
to this. It is the force of the people and not the vote that
will determine if we are really ready for progress.

Are we truly ready for progress?

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Your Hundred-Fold-life is progressing well then you realize,
that one of the biggest fears shared by most home business
owners is the dreaded letter from the Internal Revenue Service
saying they doubt the information contained in your personal or
business income tax return. This can be made even more difficult
if you combine trips to the store to pick up things for your
home office and your home at the same time. It will become
nearly impossible to keep every receipt you have separated for
home and business and can lead to unintended inclusion of
household products on your list of business expenses.

One of the most effective ways to separate them is to have a
business account separate from your personal account and treat
it as off limits to personal expenses. Whenever you run to the
store and buy something for the business, pay for it from the
business account even if it means having the clerk ring up
separate transactions. This way, if a receipt is lost you can
show the bank account transactions to IRS auditor and hope they
understand about lost receipts.

You will also need to become fully educated on what business
related expenses can be charged as a cost of doing business and
which ones do not qualify for a deduction. Too many times have
people believed that something they took home and used in their
home office could qualify as a business expense, only to learn
too late that it is not considered a business expense for the
type of business they operate. Sales tax is one of the most
misunderstood items on the IRS list.

With most businesses, the only items that can be purchased free
of sales tax are those that are intended for resale or those
that become part of another product during the manufacturing
process before being resold. Paper towels, toilet paper and hand
soap, even if used in the business, cannot be purchased
tax-free. When the auditor looks through the books and finds
these types of receipts not only will you be responsible for the
unpaid taxes, but there will probably be interest charges and
penalties tacked on to the total.

Another often misunderstood taxing problem is forgetting to pay
local sales tax, in addition to state and federal taxes. While
some communities do not have a local sales or income tax, there
are many that do and failing to file and pay any due taxes is
punishable by law. You may also need a business license before
operating a business in many communities, which is there way of
knowing who is making money in town and who to look for when it
comes time to collect taxes.

If you cannot afford a tax consultant, and plan to do your own
taxes, it may behoove you to buy business tax software to
prevent overlooking anything that could get you in trouble with
the taxman later in the year. Staying out of hot water with the
IRS is important to the success of your Hundred-fold-Life.

Keeping track of all expenses can save you money on taxes, but
making sure you pay all the appropriate taxes due can keep you
out of trouble.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Parents learn quickly that telephones are like magnets to
children. With multiple cell phones and land lines ringing,
children have greater access to phone communication than ever
before, and are more fascinated than ever with their use.

Per Spiderman's creed, "With great power comes great
responsibility," children need to be taught early that the
telephone is not a toy and that proper behavior is a must for
anyone who uses the phone. Parents should always model courteous
phone etiquette.

The check list below is a good parenting tool to ensure that
children use the phone properly.

Ask to use the phone

To maintain boundaries, it is a good idea to require children
to ask before using the phone. Very small children can be
tempted to hit the redial button over and over, annoying the
person on the receiving end. Older children can while away hours
chatting, before parents become aware.

Answer the phone properly

Parents should equip children with a polite greeting for
answering the phone. "Hello, may I help you?" or "Hello, who is
this speaking please?" are polite salutations and not abrupt
like, "Yeah? Who's this?" Unless the child knows who is calling,
he should refrain from identifying himself. If the child knows
the caller, (the phone is handed to him, or he recognizes the
number displayed on the caller I.D. feature) he should say
politely, "Hello, this is "Dan"."

When a child answers the phone and it is for someone else, he
should politely say, for example, "Yes my mom is here, one
moment please while I get her," and always hand the phone to the
requested person. Yelling, "MOM, PHONE!" is disrespectful to
caller and call recipient and should be curbed immediately.
Suspending phone privileges is an effective method of
reinforcing ground rules; time out from phone use gives kids an
appreciation for the privilege.

Responding to a wrong number appropriately is crucial. Kids
should never give personal information of any kind to unknown
callers, including their own names or the names of others in the
household. A respectful and smart response to a wrong number is,
"I am sorry you have the wrong number," and hang up.

Conversing with a stranger over the phone is dangerous. People
who prey on children know how to manipulate them into giving
personal information. Parents should teach kids to hang up
immediately and without saying, "goodbye," if the caller makes
them feel even remotely uncomfortable. After hanging up, the
child should alert a parent immediately.

Older children, home alone, should never let a strange caller
know. Parents can train children to have an excuse ready, "I am
sorry but my father is busy and can't come to the phone right
now. Goodbye." The child should hang up immediately without
further discussion. Screening calls is an even safer idea, kids
can pick up only those calls where they recognize the caller's
I.D.

Use a polite salutation when placing a call

A child placing a call should identify himself using his full
name, "Hello, this is John Jones, is Miranda at home?" is a
polite greeting.

Speak so the listener can understand

Kids should be told to use an "indoor voice," and encouraged to
speak into the receiver clearly, without mumbling or yelling.
Very young children sometimes go silent or trail off when on the
phone, so parents should be ready to encourage the conversation
or take over. Parents should make sure that the caller is
amenable to speaking to a small child, as adorable as kids are,
not everyone responds positively to teaching kids to use the
phone.

Establish time limits

Phone use is a privilege and parents need to set clear
boundaries. Most families don't allow calls to go out or come in
between 8:00 or 9:00 in the morning and 9:00 at night.

Set a reasonable amount of time for children to be on the
phone. Preschoolers up through elementary age children are easy
to limit, but parents need to be very clear and consistent with
time limits for preteens and teens. It is appropriate to take a
time out from the phone during the homework block, while eating
dinner, or during family time. Cell phone use and text messaging
should be monitored to ensure activity doesn't get out of hand.

Finish the call politely

Little children should be taught to say, "goodbye," at the end
of the call, not to just toss the phone down or hang up. As
children mature they should finish all phone calls with a polite
remark such as, "It was great speaking with you, Grandma." The
phone should always be returned to its designated home by the
person who used the phone last.

Be respectful when others are using the phone

Eavesdropping, creating background noise, and speaking to or
distracting a person who is on the phone, are all impolite
behaviors that should not be tolerated. In addition, pushing
phone buttons, playing with the cord, picking up an extension
and grabbing at the phone are off limits behaviors that should
be "nipped in the bud."

It is difficult for very small children to understand that they
must be quiet when a parent is taking a call. Cutting calls
short or planning important calls when children are napping,
occupied by the other parent, or engaged in an activity, helps
ensure less stressful phone calls. Parents can let older
children know beforehand that they need quiet while they are on
the phone.

Take a message please

Children of about age eight and up can take a basic message.
Paper and pens should be placed near phones and kids can be
coached to ask for whom the call is for, who is calling, and the
telephone number where the person can be reached. The child
should read the information back to the caller to ensure
accurate content.

Leave a clear message

Even small children can be taught to leave a clear and concise
message with their name and telephone number.

The increase in telephone usage over the past decade has
magnified the need for good telephone skills. Most people have a
telephone on their person at all times. In addition, predators
have gotten very adept at infiltrating homes and communicating
with children. Completing the above checklist will assure
parents that their children are politely and safely using the
phone.

I've got nothing against Philadelphia, let me make that clear.
I've also never lived there, but did spend a few years there on
several weekends, to paraphrase W.C. Fields. And even though
cold, grey, rainy days could remind me of New York or Baltimore,
where I actually have lived, they always make me think of
Philadelphia in wintertime. Like today, when Southern California
is anything but sunny, where intimidated drivers creep through
rivers of standing water while daredevils swerve around them,
wheels deep in the muck, throwing up rooster tails like offshore
power boats, just before they lose control and start sliding
sideways down Ventura Boulevard. Thank God it doesn't snow here.
I'm eager to get back to Miami.

My nine-year-old is with me in the truck, on our way back from
his friend's house. He's chanting a rap lyric about an ultimate
showdown of cartoon heroes and tough guys. Over and over again.
He's been chanting it since last weekend, when he learned it
from his teammates at a soccer tournament in Corona (not the one
in Queens where the best Italian ices come from). No, this
Corona's out near Riverside, on the edge of a huge valley
between mountains that really do turn purple with the sunset.
When you get up on the Westbound I-91 ramp in the dark, the
scale of it all just smacks you in the face, especially if
you're an East Coast boy like me. There's a vast valley floor,
covered with a bed of lights, all at the same height, spreading
like Georgia kudzu to the bases of mountains all around. No
high-rises out here. Don't need 'em. This is big country, with
plenty of floor space.

Until last weekend, the only data point in my head about this
Corona was a Phil Hendrie character who lived there, the
oft-humiliated and always litigious Steve Bosell. I now know
that Corona's also home to the best bagels I've had in years,
from N.Y.P.D. (for pizza department). The owners used to own the
Bagel Oasis on the Horace Harding Expressway (fancy name for a
service road if you ask me), in – you guessed it – Queens, where
I used to stop and stock up on my way back to Manhattan from
band rehearsals, long about thirty years ago. It's a small
world, by cracky, even under the big sky.

Meanwhile, my son's still chanting his latest favorite "novelty
tune," as we used to call them. I was mystified when he and his
mates became Weird Al fans a year ago, and rewarded them with a
seminar on Roger Miller, Jim Lehrer and Ray Stevens that made
their eyes glaze over. These days, folks don't seem to work so
hard on satire, delivering the large-type edition, dumbed down
to make sure the audience gets it. Doesn't mean it's not funny,
just not so original. I mean, where's Ian Dury when you need
him?

It's still raining, but we're almost home, and my son's almost
done (timing is everything). He's reached the climax of his
ultimate showdown song, where Mr. Rogers slays everyone who
isn't already dead, then, for reasons I'll never understand,
commits hara-kiri. Maybe we are Devo, after all. I remain
hopeful, though, whenever I see my son cracking up over a smart
Monty Python sketch, like the soccer match between the
Bournemouth Gynecologists and the Watford Long John Silver
Impersonators. Then again, those guys also did the fish-slapping
dance.

Don't trust your money with just anyone. Here is everything you
need to know before consolidating your credit cards.

Watch Your Back

So, you've finally made the decision to step into debt
consolidation and you're finally ready to make the right move
and eliminate your debt. Congratulations. This is a big step for
you. But it's also a step that you should make carefully.

Today, on the Internet, there are literally thousands of
"firms" that will allow you to consolidate your debt quickly and
easily. Problem is, many of these companies are not legit and
are only out for your money. You need to be careful of these
companies and only work with one that has been accredited to
handle your specific situation.

How can you find these companies? Do your homework before you
start. Decide what you are looking for in a debt consolidation
and be ready to know the types of questions that you need to ask
a firm looking to handle your business. What sorts of plans do
they offer? How are they looking to help you with your specific
situation? Will they walk you through the process or do they
seem rushed to start you up and collect fees from you?

Know what you're talking about and set out to get all the right
answers from any company accepting your business.

Avoid Potential Pitfalls

As useful as debt consolidation can and should be, it can also
be extremely taxing and painful if it is not used properly. In
most cases, debt consolidation will allow you to lower your
monthly payments and pay off your credit card in less time than
it normally would.

While this is very helpful to your situation, you also need to
take steps towards financial freedom elsewhere. Do NOT think
that credit card consolidation is the end all and the be all.
You shouldn't be using credit cards elsewhere while you try to
consolidate as this will simply make it harder for you to pay
off your debt. Rather, commit to the program you select and do
your best to pay off your debt. You'll be glad you did.

A credit card consolidation program is ideal for anyone who has
suffered under the weight of debt. Debt can be physically and
emotionally hard to deal with for many people. But you don't
have to be one of those individuals. Often times, debt
consolidation helps people cope with debt while providing
options for paying it off.

Before you even consider signing on with a debt consolidation
firm, do your research and find a company that works best for
you. Ask around. Do you have a family friend or a trusted friend
who has gone through the consolidation process? Can they
recommend a company to you that they think works best for your
situation? Do you currently have a financial advisor who could
recommend someone to you?

Ask around and see what you can dig up. Chances are, you'll
find someone reliable and trustworthy to help you out with your
consolidation and you may gain a better understanding of the
whole process as you do your background checks.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
There are plenty of reasons you might have to sell your house
fast. Whether you are selling for some quick cash, due to ill
health, relocation, inheritance, divorce or separation or you're
just having a little financial difficulty. There are many quick/
express house sale companies in Scotland that specialize in
buying homes quickly. You can even rent it back to you at a
reasonable price so you can stay in your house or you can sell
it with a buyback option.

Financial difficulties

We all dread it happening, but falling ill happens to most of
us at some point or another. Being ill can take its toll on the
whole family emotionally as well as financially. The bills can
start to pile up when you're unable to work and without the
right help it can be really difficult to deal with the rough
times that come with that. http://www.saleexpress.co.uk/ is just
one of the companies with its HQ in Glasgow, Scotland. They and
other buy and rent back businesses can help you release some of
the equity that's locked in your property.

Quick House Sale Do to Relocation

Everyone relocates once or twice in their life, usually for a
job or to move in with a partner and usually it's important that
you sell your house fast, especially when moving abroad and you
have to have things all wrapped up before you leave the country.
The process goes by as quick and stress-free as possible when
choosing the right firm for you. Moving house can be a stressful
time at the best of times, but moving abroad can bring more even
more nightmares, and with Sale Express Glasgow UK dealing with
selling your home quickly, it's one less thing to burden you.

Divorce with a Quick Sale

It's an unfortunate fact that in the UK 1 in 3 marriages ends
in divorce. This is a hard and very trying time in both your
lives. There are many decisions to be made and none of them are
easy. Achieve a speedy valuation to your house and make a quick
sale. The money can then be used to pay off debts and you can
both move on and try to get on with your new lives.
If you are the executor of an estate you will want to sell it
quickly, that way it's not lying empty and has the possibility
of succumbing to vandalism. An empty house also deteriorates
quickly without someone there to look after it, so it's in your
best interest to sell the property fast. Regardless of the
condition of the property, So if you are looking for a quick
sale company to help with your problems and challenges in life,
there are many companies that can help.

Remember…You don't even have to move out of your house, just do
the research needed to find the right company for you, find one
that you feel comfortable dealing with a track record. So to
recap you can sell your home and move or sell and rent it back.
Sometimes a buyback service is available, so you can sell your
house and have the opportunity to buy it back at a later date.
Usually you can give you an offer the same day they view the
property and there are absolutely no fees what so ever.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Yesterday (30/1/08) the U.S. Federal Reserve cut interest rates
by another 0.5%. This was the second cut in 9 days making a
1.25% reduction in just over a week. In the UK the Chancellor of
the Exchequer has proposed giving the government powers to
secretly bail out failing banks. As for the housing market on
both side of the pond, the less said the better. It looks like
we could be in for a rough ride.

So how can you prosper in the recession. I'm no expert in
stocks and shares so I'm not going to suggest a winning strategy
on how to invest when things are tough. Instead, let me just
point out that there are certain things that people will
continue to spend money on. Whilst we may not have spent as much
at Christmas last year we are still going to buy our groceries
and fill our cars with petrol. As the recession bites people are
going to look for ways of improving their lives.

For those of us involved in Internet marketing I think we will
see a significant slump in the purchase of high ticket price
products. How many people are going to speng $500 on an
information product when things are tight? On the other hand
affordable subscription products that are capable of generating
a good income - now there is a different story.

Two businesses I have worked in may serve to illustrate my
point.

When I first realized the potential of the Internet I couldn't
see beyond the dollar signs, so when I found a business with a
product at $995 and a commission of $495 I was in like a shot.
BIG MISTAKE! The product wasn't worth $995 and I couldn't market
it with conviction. Even if I had made sales the only way to
make $9950 was to find 10 customers who had been as blind as I
had. In a recession will people jump in like this? Even if the
product is worth the money how many people are going to spend
$995 on an information product they haven't seen. My view may be
colored by the fact that having once been bitten I am definitely
twice shy but I think a business like this is going to struggle
in the coming years.

On the other hand there is Success University. I spent $2
taking a 14 day look at the product and business from the
inside. I then had a choice I could get going for $49.95 a month
or pay a one off $149.95 (includes first month) to be a premium
member and get higher commissions. For less than $2 a day I get
24/7 access to personal development courses, monthly Cd's and
DVDs delivered to my door and become part of an incredibly
supportive team.

Now ask yourself this: when things are tight and people are
looking for extra income will they spend $995 in one go or
$49.95 a month? Even in a recession $2 a day is affordable and
when that $2 investment is capable of multiplying itself into a
full-time income then in my books this is a no-brainier.

This recession is going to decimate big bonuses for players on
the financial markets. It is going to bite hard on mortgages and
wages. Whilst the markets tumble this could be the day of the
ambitious little guy. Imagine the satisfaction of realizing your
financial dreams during a recession!

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Are you feeling on top of the world right now? Feeling
incredibly successful and enjoying life to the max? If the
answer is no, I've got something quite shocking to tell you,
success isn't going to change that.

Its funny that often people equate success to being happy "oh
if I had a threesome, then I'd be happy", "If I could have 5
girls on the go, dating them all at once, then I'd be really
happy". It's seen even more in the world of finance "all I need
is another $5k a year, then I can afford anything I really
want...", once they get that pay rise, they want another, and
another, it just never seems to fulfill them.

The truth is, these images of a grand future are only holding
you back from being happy now. You will realize as so many
others have done, once you actually make it to that point in
your life that you've always wanted to be at, it really doesn't
fulfil you. Sure you may get a temporary high after your first
threesome, just like you do after getting an unexpected cheque
or a pay-rise at work, however after a while it really just
doesn't feel all that special anymore. It starts to become the
daily routine and that happiness you thought would stay around
forever begins to disappear. So you start looking at foursomes
and a nice new Porsche believing that they are the way to
extreme happiness for the rest of your life, and so the brutal
cycle continues, true happiness only being that mirage, just a
few steps away.

Once you arrive at a location, even if its a location you've
always wanted to be at your entire life, it often doesn't feel
quite like you imagined. In fact, usually it just feels normal
to be there and you start to see a new location that you really
want to be at. This happens in every area of life, from
relationships, to health, to wealth. In fact health is actually
one of the biggest yet no one really notices. Often you ask
people how they are on a scale of 1-10 with their health and it
barely ever comes out to above an 8. Why is this? It's because
when you stop having problems, you generate them yourself, it
add's a bit more excitement in your life per-se and you have a
new goal to work on. Most people always seem to have something
wrong with them because of a placebo effect, their brain can't
tolerate being perfectly healthy and as such they start to feel
a mild headache, pains in some random joints, itches over their
body etc. Problems just seem to appear unexpectedly just when
they think they are 2 steps away from being healthy.

Now you may think I'm being a bit depressing here, but there is
a reason for this. You see, we can use this knowledge to our
advantage, it can be used in a sort of reverse psychology kind
of way to pull us towards the things we want. Not only this,
once you realize that external events aren't going to make you
happy, you can begin to work on yourself, becoming happier and
more positive in the present, rather than always thinking of
your future or past.

Have you ever wondered why you go through extreme emotions
(often incredibly happiness) when drunk? It's because when you
are drinking, you are no longer thinking about the past, or the
future, you are simply living in the moment. When you live in
that moment you forget about all the bad things in life and
simply enjoy whats going on around you, you feel euphoric that
the club/party is so amazing and when you wake up the next
morning you think "damn that was a good night, now back to the
daily grind...". Little do many realize, if you stick in the
moment just like when your drunk, every day can be exciting and
wonderful, without the use of alcohol! Just live in the moment,
and enjoy whats happening right now, appreciate what you have
and be grateful that you have the freedom to choose.

You may also notice that when you have a bit to drink you seem
to have a much better time with women. It's working on the same
theory, you're not thinking about all your past failures with
women, and your not worrying about whats going to happen in the
future with these girls you are talking to. Your simply stuck in
the moment having fun with them and enjoying your time together.
You have no regrets, you have no fantasies about what you may
get up to later which make you nervous (actually you may still
have these ;)), you just have a good time out and enjoy
yourself. The girls see you are genuinely having fun with them
in the moment without external motives and they love you for
that.

As you realize that its not the alcohol that is causing you to
do better with women or have a more fun time, but merely your
mindset, you can start to use this to your advantage. Next time
your out with friends or talking to women just stick in the
moment, try as hard as you can to not think about the past or
the future, but simply sit there and say what you feel. Enjoy
the time with her without worrying about will she give you her
phone number/kiss/sex or not and just have fun. At the start
this will be very very hard to do, turning off that little voice
of the past that has been around forever is difficult, but the
more you do this, the better you will get. Eventually you will
discover as I have myself that you no longer need alcohol to
have a fun night out and because you're no longer drinking you
can think clearer and no longer act like "just another drunk guy
coming to chat up the girls". It's sad when I go out and see so
many guys feeling they need to spend over $100 on drinks just to
be able to talk to a girl and have a fun time with her, because
they can't find a way to be in the moment any other way.

Overall just enjoy your life as it is, look at goals as things
to strive for, but don't tie your happiness to them. They feel
great as accomplishments it is satisfying to work towards them,
but if you are not feeling amazing right now, it's not going to
come from another pay rise. Stop looking at that greener grass
on the other side of the fence and start enjoying what's on your
side, for there is someone out there who would consider your
life simply brilliant.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Thousands of organizations have shifted gears and are
scrambling to take the biggest slice of the e-marketing pie.
Tons of sales must be generated and businesses are changing the
way they look at the formulaic Customer Relationship Management.
It's business as usual, but with a big boost from CRM software.

Basic Services

Small businesses with sales representatives devoting more of
their time doing sums and entering customers' names and phone
numbers into a data bank are headed for bankruptcy. Your
salespeople could be attending to customers' needs and wrapping
up sales online and offline, if you only had CRM software. The
software minimizes the time salespeople spend at the desk.

The newer CRM software has gone beyond managing customer
information. You can use data effectively after collecting and
organizing them. The ease of accessing all the necessary data
about customer buying cycles provides the resources to formulate
important sales forecasts and strategies.

The Contact Manager enables mail, fax, and e-mail merge,
provides customized fields for entering customer notes, sales
tools, and calendar, and access to the Internet. With a
customized field, uniformity in reporting is achieved. This
feature assures real-time interaction with clients wherever they
are and whenever they are available.

Sales force Automation enables all sales reps to have immediate
access to information online and via their mobile phones. In
marketing and selling to customers, snap decisions have to be
made. Should you give a discount? Will you be able to ship the
order the next day? Has the customer paid for supplies on time?
These are just some of the mundane questions sales reps ask
themselves.

On a grander scale, sales reps dealing with international
markets must have an index of rival corporations and their
current prices to help them figure out how to win over the
customer. Hence, immediate access to facts and figures is
critical. This feature maximizes the performance of the field
team because they can provide the information when needed and
make decisions based on the information. This is also beneficial
to both management and sales reps.

Sales reps and key personnel assigned should be able to respond
immediately to queries and take orders online via the
specialized chat feature. This enhances online communication
between seller and customer.

Sales Boosters

But there are newer features in the CRM software, like the
marketing index that provides baseline information of different
industries, products, and business rivals. This program can
always update you with the trends outside your sphere anytime
you have to make a quick evaluation on some of the customers'
requests. A forecasting module is available to help businessmen
decide about their advertising campaigns and strategies to boost
sales.

In fact, CRM software has made the world smaller everyday. As
an entrepreneur, you can make deals and release advertising
campaigns in any part of the world. A cash converter is provided
to facilitate your transactions in any currency.

But how useful is the CRM software for your business? Because
you can track the buying trends of your customers and become
aware of their buying habits or cycles, you can come up with
better customer service. So grab the software that's sure to
boost customer loyalty and increase revenues. But shop wise for
the right software that will fit your business to a T.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Dubai's geographical proximity to India has to a large extent
been responsible for making it a port of call for foreign
tradesman. The `Jabel Ali Port `is supposedly one of the largest
man made ports of the world. Dubai is said to hold some of the
most amazing architectural structures of the world. This has
been reason enough to provide Dubai with the opportunity to
cater to a large number of tourists every year. The Western
section forms the locality of `Bur Dubai'. Much of Dubai's real
estate boom has been concentrated to the west of this region
i.e. along `Sheikh Zayed Road'.

Though the whole of Dubai has a lot to offer to it's visitors,
the Sheikh Zayed Road, one of the main arteries of Dubai, is
considered to be the most happening place of Dubai. If one
aspires to get the real taste of Dubai, then this is the place
for them. Some of the famous landmarks like `Port Rashid',
'Jabel Ali', 'Burj Al Arab', 'Palm Jumeirah' and theme based
free zone clusters such as `Business Bay' are all located in
this section. To add a star to this ever so charming city,
although Arabic is the official language of Dubai, Persian,
Malyalam, Bengali, English, Urdu, Tamil and even Hindi are
widely spoken by the people here. The official currency of Dubai
is `Dirham'.

Dubai is known to have quite a number of shopping malls like
`Marcato Mall', 'Ibn Battuta Mall' and `Mall of Emirates' to
name a few. However, one of the star attractions of Dubai which
is the chief reason why the city get's to see million's of
tourists teeming into the city every year is the `Dubai Shopping
festival'. This month long event is usually scheduled during the
first quarter of the year. Tourists from all across the world
are lured not only for Dubai's tax free shopping, but also for
all the events that take place during the festival. The event is
marked by heavy discounts on merchandise and fireworks which
make the skyline sparkle like gold making it literally seem like
a `city of gold'.

Well, for all those who prefer to sit back and experience the
luxury of this city, Dubai has some of the best hotels to offer.
The `Burj Al Arab' is a luxury hotel , used exclusively as a
hotel. It is the tallest building and stands on an artificial
island out from Jumeirah beach, connected to the mainland by a
private curving bridge. It's an iconic structure designed to
mimic the sail of a boat. Some of the other sought after hotels
of Dubai are `Grand Hyatt Hotel', 'Jumeirah Emirates Tower
Hotel' and a few more.

Dubai also has a lot to offer to it's young visitors. The
`Falconcity of Wonders' is one of the star attractions for the
children. It's a project to build a city in Dubai with replicas
of the Seven Wonders of the World added to the modern wonders
such as Eiffel Tower. It is believed that when viewed from the
space the city will form the shape of a falcon.

There is also something for the music lovers in Dubai. Dubai is
known for it's `Bedouin' folk music. A famous band of Dubai is
the `Sandwash Band', known for it's groove core music, which
typically features themes about lustful relationships.

Though Dubai is believed to be a land of deserts, one step on
this land is enough to wash out this premonition. All these
attractions only add more hue to this already colorful city. The
city has to offer something to every body who comes onto this
land.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Sleep is the process in which our energetic body (also known as
the etheric body or vital body) is put on 'recharge'. It expands
and opens in order to assimilate and store energy. This energy
body can normally only do this in its expanded state during
sleep. In this state, the chakras (energy centres) trickle power
in the form of 'etheric matter' into the energy body, which is
basically a 'double' of the physical body (and sometimes called
the etheric double for this reason.)

"As the physical body and mind fall asleep, a copy of
consciousness is reflected into the etheric body, and from there
into the projectable double as it is generated, and later into
the astral and higher subtle bodies. While this is happening,
the physical/etheric copy of the mind begins sliding toward
another type of projection, an internal projection into the
dream environment. At the start of the process, while falling
asleep, the physical/etheric mind begins losing the strength of
will to form coherent and logical thought patterns. It slowly
loses itself among wandering fragments of thought and
subconscious impressions. It loses touch with reality and begins
to experience dreams, some of which appear to be generated by
the subconscious mind."
- Robert Bruce, Astral Dynamics p.134

We may well note, we need sleep to live, and the refreshing
reward of a good night's sleep is not possible to produce by any
drug or any other means. This results not just from the resting
and rebalancing of the metabolism of the physical body, but the
emotional and mental vigour of energies gained by our etheric
and astral bodies. In this state, the etheric body is just out
of alignment with the physical, which 'uses up' this energetic
charge during the day.

The etheric body is usually about two inches above the physical
one while sleeping, and this accounts for the slight change in
perspective reported at the start of some Etheric Projections.
Most people have experienced the 'jolt' that is caused by sudden
awakening as the bodies 'fall' back into realignment. This can
be caused by either internal or external factors, such as
nightmares or other highly active dreams, aborted projection
attempts, astral obstructions, loud noises, or even being bumped
too hard by a partner rolling over.

"In periods of sleep your consciousness actually does leave
your body... your consciousness does return at times, to check
upon the physical mechanisms... [however] the body consciousness
is always with the body, so it is not vacant. But the largely
creative portions of the self do leave the body, and for large
periods of time when you sleep."
- Seth, Seth Speaks p.120

It is during this recharging process that our astral body
separates and tunes into the Astral Plane where it can create
and experience dreams. This is also why we still feel refreshed
after projection as it is a separate process. And again, whether
we realize it or not, we are all familiar with the Astral Plane
because the dream dimension is part of it. The difference with a
conscious Astral Experience is that you know you are there and
this makes the experience far more vivid and directable.

"In sleeping... you focus your awareness in altered form into
another world that is every bit as valid as your physical one."
- Seth, Seth, Dreams and Projections in Consciousness p.219

In other words, the astral body - with your main conscious
focus - 'comes and goes' from alignment with the etheric body
and to the Astral Planes. You 'dream' or 'project', and return,
several times in a night! Four or five times is common, though
it depends on how long you sleep among other factors. Mostly we
forget the brief awakenings between dream periods, but we can
learn to remember these to. (For myself, I was a deep sleeper,
but now I frequently wake up in these in-between periods with
full recall!)

"Dreams ... are not just imaginative indigestion or psychic
chaos. We are not temporarily insane when we dream, as some
theorists maintain. To the contrary, we may be far more sane and
alert during some dream states than we are ordinarily."
- Jane Roberts, Seth, Dreams and Projections in Consciousness
p.9

Dreams serve so many multi-purposes and functions that it is
almost ridiculous to attempt a comprehensive list of them,
however the main points will be of some help. Especially when
we've been taught that dreams only serve this or that particular
function! No way! There is far more to them than that...

"In dreams, you give freedom to actions that cannot adequately
be expressed within the confines of normal waking
consciousness."
- Seth, Seth, Dreams and Projections in Consciousness p.246

Without further ado then, here is a summary list of what Dreams
provide:

· freedom from the physical limitations of time and space,
allowing us to return to physicality with renewed physical and
psychic energy
· sorting out and processing our daily experiences and
organizing internal and external information
· exploration of probable realities, the living out of events
to enable us to better make daily decisions
· therapeutic experiences, including facing fears, neuroses and
any other major or minor concerns
· valid information about our motives, needs and decisions
· inner communication with other portions of the self (deeper
parts of the psyche), including reincarnational, past, future
and parallel probable selves
· symbolic or accurate visions of past and future events, or
other translations of inner data into terms the conscious mind
can more readily interpret
· communication with other people and entities (especially upon
request)
· a unique way to solve problems and overcome difficulties
· greater intunement with our creative abilities and talents
· a lot of fun wacky stuff that shows us our inner world is
more expansive than we may think!
· as many different possibilities of experience that you can
(and do) come up with...

"An unrecognized unity and organization lies within all of your
dreams, beneath their diversity. And your dreams, while part of
you, also exist apart."
- Seth, Seth, Dreams and Projections in Consciousness p.174

So of course, it would be more accurate to say that many or all
of these things are occurring at once in our dreams, thus
emphasizing their true multi-dimensional nature. In this sense,
it is like all of the dimensions of our being interacting to
form cohesive and relevant dream events for beneficial
psychological purposes. Or to put it more simply, dreams can
really help us!

================== ARTICLE START ==================
It is not uncommon to not include actual moving costs in your
moving budget. You are likely to include application costs,
security deposit, utility turn-on fees, and first month's rent
for an apartment and closing and financing cost if it is a new
home. However, the cost to move can unexpectedly eat up a
portion of your budget if not properly managed.

The best way to manage your moving costs is to know all
potential costs involved in a move, eliminate those that do not
apply to you, and include the remaining costs in your moving
budget. The first step is to have a sense of how much you have
to move. You will need this information if you decide to rent a
moving truck or during your initial contact with a moving
company.

If you contact a moving company, ask them to give you an
estimate in writing. Be sure the estimate clearly details what
is and is not included in it. Make sure this includes any
minimum costs and includes all labor. If the estimate indicates
a fee of $50 per hour, make sure you know if this is for one or
two movers. Decide if you are going to need help with packing as
well or just the moving. The more you do and the less the movers
do, the cheaper your cost.

If you decide to move yourself, you will need to rent a truck.
Call around and get several estimates before deciding which
company to rent from. Be sure you have the additional moving
equipment on hand. This equipment includes packing materials,
furniture pads, and dollies.

Obviously, the closer your current property is to your new home
or apartment, the cheaper the moving costs. If you are moving
from one state to another, you may need to include additional
costs to move such as air travel or rental of an extra car. This
type of long distance move has many hidden costs including the
cost of food, gas, and possibly hotel accommodation.

One of the most common hidden costs related to moving is
associated with storage. If you have to vacate your current
place before your new home or apartment is ready for move in,
you may have to rent temporary storage space for your
belongings. Or you may find that your new place has less space
or is configured in such a way that prohibits use of all of your
belongings. In this situation, your storage costs will be more
long term.

In the first scenario, since your new place is not ready yet
and you no longer have access to your old place, you may have to
pay for temporary housing. These costs are often unplanned and
unexpected, unless you are relocating because of your job. Your
temporary housing may not allow pets in which case you will have
to pay to house your pet in temporary pet housing such as a
kennel.

Now that you have the actual move figured out, think about
other potential costs. You have probably planned for the cost to
have utilities turned on at your new place. Have you considered
the possible cost to have utilities turned off at your current
location? There may or may not be fees associated with utility
disconnections.

The most important thing to keep in mind regarding moving is to
always do your homework. Know what it will cost to hire movers.
Know what it will cost if you move yourself. If you decide to
hire a moving company, read your contract carefully. Be aware of
any fine print and potential additional charges that can add up
to a big bill and big hassle. Always make sure you are insured,
whether you do the move or not.
