The electromagnetic radiation of a wavelength that is longer
than that of an observable light but shorter than that of radio
waves is called an infrared (IR). This same radiation is what
far infrared saunas use to heat the body instead of the air
around the person.

Far infrared radiant (FIR) treatment is generally harmless. It
is not an ultraviolet radiation. The radiant heat produced
undergoes a process called conversion. During this stage, the
heat warms the object or the body and does not elevate the
surrounding air temperature exactly like the sun's rays will
warm your body.

Most infrared sauna rooms are made of wood with a number of
infrared heaters. The space inside does not necessarily need to
be enclosed. In humid environments, the sauna is left open but
doing so does not affect the heating process since heaters do
not depend on air.

The type of heaters used in infrared saunas is of special type.
It produces waves that are responsible for heating the body. Its
temperature is greatly cooler compared to traditional saunas.
The heat inside ranges from 43°C to 54°C (110°F to 130°F).

Frequently asked questions:

• Can my children use an infrared sauna?

Yes as long as they are supervised. Do not leave your children
all by themselves. The temperature inside the sauna can be very
hot and may cause them to dehydrate.

• How much electricity will it consume if I installed one at my
home?

Infrared saunas are energy efficient since it takes less time
to heat a room and requires a lesser temperature when in use. In
10 minutes, your infrared sauna is already up and about.

• Can I experience a heat stroke while inside an infrared
sauna?

It is very unlikely to happen. FIR saunas operate in lower
temperature in contrast with conventional saunas.

• How often should I use an infrared sauna?

2-4 times a week is still acceptable. For people with special
health conditions, it is recommended to seek first your doctor's
opinion regarding sauna treatment.

• Can I drink while inside an infrared sauna?

This is definitely fine. Also, drink before and after an FIR
session. Green teas are highly recommended.

• How can I keep it clean?

You can put towels on the floor, backrests, and benches to dry
up perspiration.

Benefits:

Though some claim that far infrared saunas do not guarantee
alleged health benefits, many health professionals have authored
books or attested of its good effects.

• It helps in body detoxification because of severe sweating.
Accumulated toxins inside our body like carbon dioxide, lead,
chlorine, sulfur dioxide, and mercury are released through open
pores.

• Better blood circulation that may result to improved
metabolism.

• Increased heart rate without heightening one's blood
pressure. This results to a stronger cardiovascular system.

• Skin tone and texture are rejuvenated and cleansed because of
increased nutrients. Skin diseases such as acne, eczema, rashes,
burns, etc. are also healed.

• Reduce body stress by loosening muscle tissues thus relaxes
and releases tensions.

• provides a helpful effect on the body's immune system.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
A night vision binocular is one of the devices that have "night
vision optics". It is an electro optical device that exaggerates
obtainable light instead of depending on a light source. It is
receptive to an extensive range of light, from perceptible
through infrared. Its infrared illuminator can amplify the
available light found at the end of the spectrum. It casts a ray
of light that is invisible to the naked eye. The light
penetrates through an objective lens and hits a photo cathode
which has a high-energy charge. Then, the energy hastens across
a vacuum within an image intensifier and strikes a phosphor
screen, similar to a TV screen. This is where the image is
focused and magnified by the eyepiece. The human eye can set
apart more shades of green than other phosphor colors. It is the
reason why a night vision phosphor screen is deliberately
colored green.

The viewing range of a night vision binocular generally falls
within 10 to 400 feet depending on the model and type.
Conditions like rain, fog, etc can have significant effects on
the distance effectively viewed by a night vision binocular.
Though some night vision binoculars need some illumination to
function, there are also models capable of operating with no
light at all using infrared illuminator.

Technical terms that are commonly used:

• Eye Relief – the distance between the ocular lens and the
viewer's eye.

• Focus Range – the ability of binoculars to be focused
infinitely

• Gain – it is the number of times the light input is being
amplified.

• Infrared Illuminator – provides optimal application even with
no illumination by giving a light source

• Line Pairs – a way to measure resolution. For a better
resolution, you need more line pairs.

• Ocular Lens – the lens next to the viewer's eye.

• Objective Lens – the closest lens against the object being
viewed

• Phosphor Screen – renders the visible night vision image

• Photo sensitivity – the higher its value, the more visible an
image is when viewed at night.

Practical applications:

• Great for Hunting and fishing

They say hunting and fishing is more exhilarating when done at
night. These creatures are greatly able even when there is no
sunlight. Devices and equipment must have the capabilities to
remain effective and useful even at nighttime. Night vision
binoculars make it possible for hunters and fishers to their
mission anytime, anywhere like the sun

• Perfect for Wildlife viewing

A perfect view can be anytime of the day. But when the sun
already sets, how are you going to take a glimpse? Some
nocturnal creatures demonstrate unique characteristics thus
making the adventure extraordinary. Other phenomenon and events
taking place only at night are worth observing. Night vision
binocular is one of the devices you can take along with you to
keep the quest flowing.

• Makes Perfect Sense for Security and law enforcement

Threats and risks are more likely to happen when everyone is
sleeping. But police officers and other security authorities
will not call it a night without a fight. Night vision
binoculars are very helpful in monitoring places that are poorly
lit.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Jamaica has always been a special place since Errol Flynn, Noel
Coward, Ian Fleming made it famous over 70 years ago. It has
always been the first place people will name when asked about an
island in the Caribbean.
In truth Jamaica has it all, which means a Jamaica Vacation or
a Jamaica Honeymoon will be something extra special.

Just what makes Jamaica extra special is the real question, and
this Jamaica Travel Guide will try to supply some of the
answers. There are beaches to die for, mountains, and the most
incredible red sunsets anywhere in the world, but that by itself
is probably not enough to make you want to take a Jamaica
vacation or honeymoon.

There is no doubt it is quite unlike other Caribbean islands
close by in that it really does cater for a broad range of
tastes. After all where else caters for everything from the idle
beach bum to the wealthy, the honeymooner who wants isolation to
the partygoer who is looking for an all action resort.

Jamaica, regarded by many as the most beautiful Caribbean
Island is the ideal place for a tropical vacation. When you look
at the many differing types of people who go on holidays to the
Caribbean, they all have different ideas of a perfect tropical
vacation. When you look at Jamaica and see lushly covered
mountains, waterfalls cascading down onto beautiful white sand
beaches, exotic flowers, and activities to suit all. Jamaica is
a well developed tourist island, so if you want to play tennis
or golf you can, scuba diving isn't a problem, and if you are a
night owl then there is everything from piano bars to limbo
shows.

The only area that isn't well developed is shopping, so
husbands and men generally can be relieved to know that Jamaica
is not a shoppers paradise – Yet!!

Choosing when to travel to Jamaica is an important part of a
Jamaica Travel Guide, and Jamaica really has an idyllic climate
so it is a year round tropical vacation destination. The average
temperature is 77degrees Fahrenheit in the winter and 82 degrees
in the summer. The coastal plains in the north get the benefit
of the trade winds that blow from the Atlantic , and then there
tends to be a breeze morning and evening caused by cooling and
heating of the land.

It rains in May, and from August to October, but to be fair it
doesn't rain every day, and the showers only last a couple of
hours maximum.

To make use of any Jamaica Travel Guide you need to know what
type of tropical vacation you are planning. Do you intend to
travel on your own, or as a couple, or in a group. Jamaica has a
huge variety of places to stay , enough things to do to satisfy
even the most diverse of tastes. It really doesn't matter if you
are a bunch of college students, honeymooners, or a family there
is something for you. Getting married in Jamaica is very
affordable, especially if you avoid the peak season from Late
December to Late April when accommodation costs are at their
maximum.

The type of accommodation you are looking for will be
available, unless you must travel at peak season when early
booking is essential, but then Jamaica isn't any different to
any other Caribbean Island. Here you will find everything from
Casual bed and breakfasts to inns with old world charm. There
are super all inclusive resorts to luxury villas, in fact
Jamaica has it all and more.

Then there is the small issue of what do you want to see and
do. You can easily spend a week sipping pina coladas on a beach
or by a pool, lying in a hammock under a palm tree with a good
book. On the other hand you could go scuba diving, or river
rafting, horse riding, or play golf on world class courses.
Jamaica has something for all in the way of attractions and
activities to keep you as busy or as idle as you want to be.

This Jamaica Travel Guide can only touch on this tropical
vacation destination, but it is obvious that Jamaica is one
unique and incredible Caribbean Island.

Personal loans can come in really handy when you are in a
financial pinch, but they should be used as responsibly as
possible. Many people make the mistake of getting one personal
loan after another. The problem is that if you have decent
credit personal loans are quite simple to get and it begins to
seem like free money to a lot of people.

While one personal loan is not a bad idea if you need funds up
front to pay for something, it should not be something that you
do over and over again.

Personal Loans Should Be Used in Moderation

Personal loans are a great option when you have a one-time
expense to pay for. Many people seek out personal loans when
they need to make repairs to their home, when they want to
upgrade their home, pay for medical bills, deal with legal
issues, or even consolidate debt. This is a great idea but
personal loans should not be abused.

You want to take out a personal loan, use it exactly as
intended and then pay it off. This is not free money; in fact
you are probably paying a nice premium for the funds in the way
of interest. You should try to avoid taking out a loan unless
absolutely necessary because you do have to pay interest.

Many people will take out one personal loan, pay for what they
need, like the way it felt to pay for things so they will take
out another. Then, because they are unable to comfortably repay
the first two personal loans they will need to take out another
to pay for those and then another to pay for the three that they
have out.

You can see how this could get out of hand quite easily. Those
that continue to take out personal loans one right after the
other will find themselves in a really bad cycle that is hard to
stop.

Many people forget that because personal loans are simple to
get they are in fact loans. With loans comes interest, which
means that you are paying to get the money. If you do not have
enough money to buy the things that you need, which is why you
need a loan, it is smart not to pay for the money unless you
really need it.

Of course, there are those situations when a personal loan
really is called for, and in these cases you should definitely
take advantage of the service and make it work for you. Just
remember as you are paying off the loan that it is a loan and it
is something that you should take seriously.

If you are constantly taking out loans you may find that
lenders are less willing to extend them to you. Loans are there
when you absolutely need them and you do not want to compromise
your credit score or your ability to get loans when you need
them by taking them out when you do not need them. Remember to
use personal loans in moderation at all times to best protect
your financial future.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Mention a French Riviera Hotel, La Provence, and one
immediately thinks of places like Cannes, St Tropez, Antibes,
where the beautiful people go to see and be seen. Not many
people outside France know anything much about a place called
Porquerolles Island in the Mediterranean off the French Coast
near Hyeres.

They know even less about a gem of a place called Le Mas du
Langoustier the most isolated and sublimely situated luxury
hotel in the whole of the south of France. On an island free of
cars, if you arrive by car you will need to leave it at the
ferry port of La Tour Fondue before the short journey to
Porquerolles Island, where you will be met by the hotel's
shuttle bus.

Le Mas du Langoustier is situated on the western part of the
island, and has a huge reputation for its food. It is a real
romantic hideaway, hidden between pines and eucalyptus with
panoramic views of the turquoise Mediterranean and the beach
below.

The hotel has fifty luxurious rooms which are beautifully
appointed, and in fact the whole place is like a private
residence furnished with antiques and Objet d'Art.

There are 45 standard or superior rooms, with some of the
larger superior rooms having a balcony but none of the rooms has
a sea view. There also four apartments each with two bedrooms
which are ideal for families. Every bedroom has an ensuite
marble bathroom, minibar, satellite television, air conditioning
and a safe deposit box, and because of the way the hotel is
furnished it does have a nineteen thirties feel to it.

Le Mas du Langoustier has the reputation as one of the very top
French Riviera Hotels for the food served in its one Michelin
Star Gourmet restaurant.

The hotel has great terraces, a good swimming pool, and two
wonderful beaches on either side called La Plage Blanche and La
Plage Noire to lie around on. You can be as active during the
day as you like either walking, canoing, or biking because
Porquerolles Island is just lovely, not busy if you avoid
August.

Because of the isolation of this particular French Riviera
Hotel, this governs your activities which will allow you to
unwind very quickly.

There are miles of tracks to explore, returning to the hotel
hungry and ready to enjoy the fabulous cuisine already
mentioned. There are two tennis courts, table tennis, petanque
and you can explore the islands by taxi boat, or enjoy water
sports.

One piece of advice is to stick to the daily menu, which is
remarkable enough in itself, without needing to punish your
wallet by hitting the a la carte. You will be booked in on a
half board basis anyway.

Sitting on the restaurant terrace enjoying the Catch of the Day
it is hard to believe that you are only just off the coast of
France, because you could be miles from anywhere.

This is a hotel for the escapee, a real romantic hideaway, and
although technically a Provence Hotel, it has so little in
common with the classical French Riviera Hotel, because it all
seems so very far away because of the delightful car free island
of Porquerolles.

False Ways

Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they
have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity;
but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.
Lamentations 2:14

There were false prophets among the people, even as there shall
be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable
heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon
themselves swift destruction. II Peter 2:1

He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false
witness deceit. Proverbs 12:17

Some say God created man in His image, not woman.

God is not a man. God created man in his own image, in the image
of God created he him; male and female created he them; and
blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they
were created ... Who is the image of the invisible God, the
firstborn of every creature. Numbers 23:19a, Genesis 1:27, 5:2,
Colossians 1:15 The righteous men, shall judge them after the
manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed
blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their
hands. Ezekiel 23:45

Some say man is the head of the woman.

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the
church. Ephesians 5:32 By him were all things created, that are
in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether
they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all
things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all
things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the
body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the
dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Colossians 1:16-18 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the
servants of men. 1 Corinthians 7:23

Some say a woman cannot teach a man anything.

It shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour
out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters
shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your
old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my
handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they
shall prophesy. Acts 2:17-18 Thou shalt not bear false witness
against thy neighbour. Exodus 20:16

Some say a woman should know her place.

Thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and
thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth
shall he be called. Isaiah 54:5 Thou shalt not raise a false
report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous
witness. Exodus 23:1

Some say women cannot preach.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free,
there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ
Jesus. Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth
thither the feet of the ox and the ass. Galatians 3:28, Isaiah
32:20 A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just
weight is his delight. Proverbs 20:23

Some say a woman is required to be silent in the church.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good
works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16
Take heed that the light which is in thee be not darkness. If thy
whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the
whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a
candle doth give thee light. Luke 11:35-36

Some say, "Have nothing to do with that Jezebel."

He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that
receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. John 13:20 They shall
put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that
whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. John
16:2

Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did
their fathers to the false prophets. Luke 6:26

These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an
abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands
that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked
imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false
witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among
brethren.

I the Lord love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and
I will direct their work in truth. Keep thee far from a false
matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will
not justify the wicked. A man that beareth false witness against
his neighbour is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.

A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to
a naughty tongue. A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he
that speaketh lies shall not escape.

Let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his
neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that
I hate, saith the Lord. And I will come near to you to judgment;
and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against
the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those
that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the
fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and
fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Then they suborned men, said, We have heard him speak blasphemous
words against Moses, and against God. And they stirred up the
people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and
caught him, and brought him to the council, And set up false
witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous
words against this holy place, and the law: For we have heard him
say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and
shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I
am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Love worketh no ill to his
neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all
thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great
commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy
neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law
and the prophets.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing,
but inwardly they are ravening wolves. For out of the heart
proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts,
false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a
man. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and
shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were
possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in
the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the
truth; For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be
with us for ever. Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God
the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the
Father, in truth and love.

Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift
is like clouds and wind without rain.
Proverbs 25:14
_______

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits
whether they are of God: because many false
prophets are gone out into the world.
I John 4:1

The Test

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law. Having crucified the flesh
with the affections and lusts, it is they that are Christ's.
Galatians 5:22-24

If ye be led of the Spirit,
ye are not under the law.

If we live in the Spirit, let
us also walk in the Spirit.
For by the works of the law
shall no flesh be justified.

And they, whether they will hear,
or whether they will forbear,
yet shall know that there hath
been a prophet among them.

This Abomination Maketh Desolate

The women of my people have ye cast out from
their pleasant houses; from their children
have ye taken away my glory for ever.

Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest:
because it is polluted, it shall destroy you,
even with a sore destruction.

If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie,
saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong
drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
Micah 2:9-11

02/02/08

From the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away,
and the abomination that maketh desolate set up,
there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Daniel 12:11

May everyone, regardless of gender, be free to serve God as per
the passions He lays upon their heart; Philippians 2:13.

It's certain that you're not a fan of taking your car to the
mechanic to get it repaired. However, this is something that has
to be done and it not only costs you time, but money as well.
Not only that, in the back of your mind you're wondering if the
mechanic is doing what needs to be done or if he's just out for
money. There are some out there who will take you for a ride, no
pun intended.

Before you take your vehicle in to a repair shop, get referrals
and recommendations from others who have been there. They can
tell you whether or not the service lived up to their
expectations. Using word of mouth is the best form of
advertisement. Usually people will be truthful with you about
their experience, whether it was good or bad.

Take note of auto repairs shops that advertise cheap prices for
things like oil changes and a freebie for a brake check. This is
one way some mechanics will try to get over on you. They will
purposely look for ways to find things they claim need to be
repaired prior to you leaving the auto shop. Then, you'll end up
paying additional money you were not expecting to dish out. It
just goes to show you that "free" isn't really free without
strings attached.

Know what kind of parts the mechanic is using on your vehicle.
Find out what the markup is on them. Some auto shops swear by
using the manufacturer's original parts for vehicles. They can
still use parts that are not made by the manufacturer and still
get the vehicle repaired. Parts that are not made by the
manufacturer are cheaper, but the markup wouldn't be great for
the mechanic.

The mechanic can charge you more by not using spare parts. This
is how they make their money. You can always ask them about the
markup just to get their response. There is no law against you
asking and no law against him providing you with an answer.
However, if you don't have a good feeling about it and you're
not getting satisfactory answers, here are some additional
things you can do to get more clarification:

• You can ask to see what work has been completed on your
vehicle. Ask them to allow you to see what you were charged for.
If you're paying for this, you have every right to know what's
going on with your vehicle.

• Ask the mechanic to show you the old part(s). You can check
it against the new part to make sure it's legitimate.

• Do a test with other mechanics in the auto repair shop. Take
a peek and ask another person how they repaired other vehicles.
They may think you're weird for asking, but it's your money and
vehicle that you trust them with to repair properly.

If you still don't feel as though the mechanic performed up to
snuff and overcharged you, ask more questions and even get
management involved if need be. This is your vehicle and the
last thing you need is someone trying to overcharge you for
unnecessary work or parts.

When it comes to school fundraising, it can be a jungle out
there. Competition is fierce and fundraising for schools can be
taken very seriously between the teachers, kids, and parents
involved. With a few friendly tips and ideas, however, that
ferociousness and competitive spirit can be replaced with
gracious, giving attitudes and, most of all, a friendly and fun
outlook!

To put the "fun" back in fundraising, it is important to
impress upon the participants that it is not a contest. There
are various reasons a school may participate in fundraising,
including library costs and school trips, but none of these
reasons should turn innocent kids into cash-hungry monsters.
Instead, fundraising should encourage kids to get creative and
to have fun working together to raise funds for something that
is important. Adding prizes is a good idea in theory, but prizes
far too often lead to difficult situations and problematic
fundraising practices.

Fundraising Ideas

There are a number of ideas when it comes to school
fundraising. Some schools go with entire catalogues filled with
items to sell, but these catalogues can often be overwhelming
and can confuse potential donators. Instead of going with a wide
variety of products or services to sell for fundraising, it is a
good idea to go with a simpler approach and offer
straightforward products or services that everyone can use and
enjoy.

A good fundraising idea should be easy to sell and it should
offer good value to the person that purchases it. Many schools
sell prepaid phone cards or discount shopping cards, as these
ideas offer tremendous value to the purchaser and come in handy.
The discount card option is a great idea for schools, as it
contains a number of prearranged discounts and involves a
partnership with local retailers and companies.

Other great fundraising ideas include:

• Bake sales
• Auction for products or services, such as lawn-mowing or
painting services
• Bingo
• Mini-golf tournament
• Karaoke night
• Car wash

All of these ideas are great for school fundraising, as there
is no limit to the services and products that can be included.
Auctions are especially fun, as old toys and items can be sold
for a nice price and the benefits come back to the students at
the school. Items like dollhouses, stuffed animals, and other
great items make great auction ideas.

Keep It Positive

With a great fundraising idea in mind, it's important to keep
the focus on fundraising and positivity. When planning a
fundraiser, it is important to include as many of the school
children as possible. This defines a role for each child and
includes everyone. Nobody likes to feel left out of something
important, so allocate responsibility and make sure each child
has a task to do.

It should be fun to fundraise, so make sure that all of the
children are treated with good humor and positivity. Try to plan
little rewards or presents along the way, ensuring that the
children enjoy being there and have something extra special to
look forward to. Plan a dinner or lunch after the fundraiser to
reflect on the experience overall, too.

Many people are taking the leap and upgrading their pc
operating system from Windows XP to Windows Vista, only to be
very disappointed by the distinct slow-down in performance.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that Windows Vista requires twice
the computing power and resources to operate at a performance
level similar to that of Windows XP. So what can you do to
improve this?

Firstly, it may be worth considering if you need to have all of
the Vista bells-and-whistles that are turned on by default. The
Aero interface in particular, although it looks pretty, requires
considerable resources and it's worthwhile turning it off to see
how much general performance improves. In addition many
computers from manufacturers such as IBM come with a whole suite
of ancillary support programs which you may not really need,
such as firewall programs, antivirus programs, performance
monitor programs, etcetra. Third party firewall programs in
particular can use up a lot of resources. If you've been happy
with the built-in Windows Firewall, then consider turning off
any third party ones.

The other two areas where a significant improvement can be made
is by upgrading the amount of system ram or memory, and
utilising a ReadyBoost compatible flash drive or flash card.

Upgrading system memory is very straight forward. Manufacturers
like Kingston make third party ram to the specifications of the
big OEM's like IBM, HP, Dell, Acer, Apple and others so it's not
necessary to pay hefty prices to obtain a 100% compatible ram
upgrade. Kingston also guarantee their memory for life so even
if the reseller you purchased it from closes up ship you can go
back to Kingston for any warranty-related issues.

Upgrading system memory as high as your budget will allow is
recommended, although anything higher than 4GB with the 32-bit
version of Windows Vista is pointless, as it will generally only
recognise around 3.5GB of the installed memory. The 64-bit
version of Vista, however, can recognise over 8GB of memory,
although most computers don't yet support this.

To take advantage of ReadyBoost, simply plug in a compatible
USB drive or flash card into your computer, then follow the
steps to configure it using the built-in wizard. Once
configured, ReadyBoost serves as an additional memory cache
which can significantly improve performance by reserving part of
the flash drive/card for memory management.

If you are not certain about whether your pc can be upgraded
with more system memory, there are many websites which make this
task relatively simple to figure out. Using your favourite
search engine, type in your computer brand and model followed by
the words "memory upgrade" and this should give you somewhere to
start. Alternatively, if you still have your user manual this
should contain specifications about how many memory slots you
have, the maximum memory capacity your pc can handle, and the
type of memory that is compatible.

To check your currently installed memory for Windows: Right
mouse-click on the "My Computer" icon and select "Properties."
The total memory is calculated and displayed under the "General"
tab in the system properties window. For Mac: Click "About This
Mac" or "About This Computer" from the Apple menu. (Far top left
of the screen). This will provide information about your Mac's
total memory (built-in memory plus DIMMs installed).

While there are many things you can do to help yourself save
when it comes to taking out car insurance cover, one of the best
is to go online with a broker. A specialist car insurance broker
is able to search on your behalf within the motor insurance
market place to make sure they find the best deal.

However there are more benefits than just saving money. The
time and aggravation you can save is enormous, you will get
among the cheapest premiums delivered in the shortest time
possible. The quotes you are given are almost instantaneous
which then means you can sit back and take your time looking
through them.

When it comes to helping yourself to knock off pounds on your
car insurance cover there are several factors you need to be
aware of. One of the best is experience in driving and a clean
driving record. If you have an excellent no claims bonus then
you can make savings too. For those who are just starting out
and do not have no claims bonus they can take advanced driving
lessons which many insurers will give you discounted premiums
for.

The size of the car and engine will determine how much you pay
for your insurance with larger engine sizes costing more to
insure than a smaller one. Cars that are considered to be in the
"flashy" range will also push up the premiums compared to a
family model.

Your age and gender affects your car insurance cover too.
Younger drivers are often quoted a lot more for their cover than
an older driver. This is due to a lack of experience and
historically, the increased likelihood of having a serious motor
accident; however a younger driver can help to reduce their
premiums by taking advanced lessons and sticking with a smaller
car. There are also insurers who will specialize in offering
cheaper car insurance for younger drivers and a broker will be
able find these. The same goes when it comes to women drivers
and drivers over a certain age.

Fitting your car with security measures can help you to make
savings. Installing such items as steering wheel locks, tracking
devices and having you windows etched can all go towards
reducing the amount you pay for your motor cover.

The type of insurance policy you choose to take will also
reflect on the cost of car insurance. The choices for cover
include third party fire and theft, third party only and fully
comprehensive. Third party only is the cheapest insurance you
can take out but it is also the very basic. Third party fire and
theft is a good choice for those buying a second hand car or for

When looking for help and advice when it comes to business
mortgages UK then a specialist's advice is one of your most
valuable tools. A specialist is able to search the whole of the
market place to find you the cheapest rate of interest and best
deal for your loan. They are also there to work with you from
start to finish which makes sure you get off to the best start
possible.

Business mortgages UK can be confusing; you will have to make
decisions regarding the type of mortgage you want to take out.
You will have to consider options such as a repayment or
interest only mortgage, whether you want a fixed rate or
variable rate and how long you wish to take the mortgage over. A
broker will offer free honest advice regarding all aspects of a
business mortgage and this is essential when starting out.

If you want to be able to budget and know how much you will be
paying for your mortgage each month then consider a fixed rate.
A fixed rate will remain set for a certain length of the
mortgage. However once this period of time has elapsed the
mortgage will then revert to a variable rate and this can mean a
big jump in you repayments each month. The fixed rate mortgage
usually has early repayment penalties and this means if you find
you have the funds to repay earlier you would have to forfeit a
large sum of money.

If you choose a variable rate then the initial rate could be
lower but bear in mind that the loan repayments will fluctuate
in line with the base rate set out by the Bank of England.
However if you take advantage of a low rate and this should rise
by just a fraction it can add a lot onto the monthly repayments.

When it comes to interest only or repayment business mortgages
UK then you have to consider the advantages and disadvantages of
both. The advantage of the interest only mortgage is that you
will pay less each month. However the disadvantage is you will
be left owing the capital, the amount you initially borrowed at
the end of the loan. The lender will usually want assurance that
you are able to repay this.

A repayment mortgage means that you repay part of the interest
and part of the capital each month. The advantage of this is
that you will pay off the loan within the time frame you took
the loan over and will not have to find a lump sum. The
disadvantage is that this type of mortgage will boost up the
monthly repayments of the loan.

Of course there is much more to consider and think about before
settling on business mortgages UK. This is where knowledgeable
advice comes in. A specialist will be able to work with you when
it comes to your business proposal and getting an appraisal for
the property you are wishing to buy. They will then work with
lenders on your behalf to secure you the best deal possible.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
We have, in this country, a tradition of leadership that aims
to appeal both to the intelligence of the 'common man', and also
to the heart within each person that assesses character and that
decides upon voting behavior. For most people, such decisions
are not just based on the ideas and issues that candidates
present, but also on the integrity, depth, and commitment that a
candidate brings to these ideas and issues.

With the increased use of television to create a forum for
public debate and discourse, the capacity to assess matters with
one's heart is both made easier and more difficult. For the
television format is often not one that lends itself to the
revelation of depth of character. Often, television formats
allow for brief sound-bites in which well-polished phrases are
all that can fit in to the allotted time, and these must be
quick to grasp, easy to remember, but not necessarily revealing
at a deeper level.

As actors on a television stage, there are those who come
before us who speak well, yet who operate more on the surface of
themselves with less true feeling but a greater ability to
create a convincing presentation within a short period of time.
There are others who use fewer words, who actually mean more.
While it is true that public speaking is a matter of political
skill that all who seek public office must acquire, it is also a
matter of character and of the heart.

The American public is always listening for what the heart
says. It is not only listening to words. And so candidates who
seek to cover errors in past judgment, or shortcomings in
present capacities, with facile political phrases, may become
transparent before a public that is listening with its heart.

Sometimes, however, voices are deceptive, and the heart can
make a mistake about what it is hearing. Sometimes, the display
of knowledge or verbal skill can appeal to the mind with such
force that it can override the listening of the heart. It can
override the capacity of the heart to judge the inner integrity
of a speaker.

When this happens, it is a sad state of affairs both for the
public and for the future functioning of government. For a
government that cannot stand on the basis of its own integrity
and character, a government that uses fancy words to placate the
minds of people but does not act out of its own heart, cannot
truly represent a people that seeks to better its own conditions
in life.

We must be careful, therefore, in America, to not be seduced by
words. To not be seduced by the intellect that appears to speak
with facility and knowledge, but lacks the heart to support the
words when it comes to actual practice. This carefulness does
not mean ruling out the use of the mind to evaluate positions or
views that matter. But it does mean not being seduced by words
or by the sweep of words which may cover other lacks.

America's heart is her most valuable possession. It is the
center of her spiritual existence. In the midst of heated debate
over campaign issues, it is important to be able to listen with
our hearts in order to know, and feel, and judge according to a
deeper measure of truth.

When we do this and to the extent that we do this, we will
elect public servants who truly serve in the name of all, and we
will put in place a government that cares for the interests of
all. In this way, the heart of America will become its
leadership, and the heart of its people, the content and measure
of its government and policy.

spiritual principles that lie at the heart of America can be

================== ARTICLE START ==================
As marriages go through their ups and downs it is not always as
easy to focus on the good times as it is the struggles. We
develop expectations of our spouse over time and when we feel
let down it typically stands out more than the positive aspects
of our relationship. This becomes particularly true in failing
marriages. As our daily interactions become more filled with
conflict than agreement it can feel as though you are heading
down the road to divorce.

The first step in salvaging a troubled marriage is to remind
yourself what you are working towards. Take a mental inventory
of the positives in your relationship, even if you do not
experience them on a daily basis. You need to clearly define
what it is about your spouse that made you fall in love in the
beginning. When the going gets tough (which it will) you will be
able to look back at these positives for inspiration.

Perhaps the toughest part of mending your relationship is
confronting the issues. While it is easy to try and ignore you
problems in hopes that they will go away, if you don't bring the
issues out into the open then it will be difficult to attack
them. You can begin this step by simply asking your spouse what
changes they would like to see in your lives. Be sure to listen
first and be open to their opinions.

Once the source of your problems has been identified, it is
time to examine your options. Ask yourself if there are things
you can do right now to change your situation. This might
include some sacrifices on your part, and you may have to make
some difficult decisions. The key is to be willing to act first
so that you show your partner how serious you are about fixing
things.

There are other important elements to a successful marriage
beyond just solving conflict. Romance and passion often gets
lost in the daily routine of work and maintaining a household.
However, if you are going to save your failing marriage then you
have to rebuild the natural attraction between you and your
partner. This means coming up with creative ideas for bringing
you closer together. Surprise dates, passionate surprises, and
even vacations are a great way to reignite these feelings.

The final step in your resolving your differences involves
being honest. It can be difficult to communicate with each other
when tensions are high, but it is important to stay on the same
page. Share your feelings and ideas with your partner through
the healing process. Let them know how much they men to you and
offer your goals for the future. Honesty is about being open and
truthful, and this will help support the trust your spouse has
in you.

Saving a failing marriage does take dedication and work, but if
you truly love your partner then there is no reason it can't be
achieved. By bringing your differences out into the open and
making changes to your daily routine, you can effectively break
down the barriers between you. If you always remember what you
are working towards then the hard times will be much easier to
deal with.

Offering something for free is a tried and true method for
getting those webmasters who are ready to take the step and
become involved in the affiliate marketing business, and offer
them not only resources which are plentiful on the `Net, but to
also help with the basic advertising setup. Affiliate marketers
benefit from free e-books in a plethora of ways! If you consider
that one of the most important aspects of successful
participation in such a program is the methodology of driving
visitors to your site and then in turn have these visitors visit
your affiliated sites and make purchases so that you will earn
money, it is not surprising that you will stand to profit
reading the tips and tricks frequently offered in a free e-book.

Sure, there is a lot of common sense advice found in these
e-books, yet this advice is put together in such a way that it
will not only make logical sense but also help you to perhaps
devise a step by step approach that may promise success in your
endeavor. Interestingly, while there Internet is home to a
staggering number of affiliate program resources, these free
e-books are a draw to many a website that simply cannot be
underestimated!

Thus, affiliate marketers benefit from free e-books in many
more ways, such as not only by reading the content, but also by
association. Imagine not only learning potentially new ways of
making money but also creating a draw to your own website where
you may teach others the same thing by becoming affiliated with
the free e-book distributor. The word "free" has the kind of
ring that hardly any Internet surfer can resist and it is not
surprising that even as you will not make money from selling
this e-book, its appeal is sure to create stickiness to your
site that may get your link emailed about and also put into the
favorite's lists of many users.

If you have a way of including more than one kind of free
e-book on your site, you may find that the fact that one size of
marketing fits all notions have gone out the window may actually
make you into somewhat of an export just by virtue of
association. In some ways you might even offer a virtual
bookshelf where you may offer tips, advice, marketing help, and
overall info for anyone who wants to work with a cornucopia of
sites, online malls, stores, and products. Even as you may not
have considered it, you may benefit from your newfound status of
virtual expert by increasing your search engine ranking and thus
your primary source of income will also receive top billing.

Affiliate marketers who do not hesitate to take advantage of
the e-book craze and who understand the power of the word "free"
also understand that reevaluating content on a consistent basis
is a key component to maximizing the impact. Remember that
cutting edge materials interspersed with tried and true popular
items are a surefire way of attracting the most visitors to your
site!

Marketing to customers via mobile phones has come on in leaps
and bounds. Finally the mainstream marketers who promote the
largest firms in the world have cottoned onto mobile marketing,
which is a sure sign that it has come of age. The development of
Short Message Service SMS technology, or text messaging as the
technique is more commonly known, has advanced dramatically in
recent years. This has allowed SMS to dovetail with other
computerized technology and making test messages easily
distributed and monitored. SMS communications now form part of
most major marketing drives.

Mobile marketing had its origins early this century in Europe
where businesses started to build lists of mobile phone numbers
and send text plugs to offer various products. The service was
often abused. This has since become better controlled and
refined. Certain protocols are in place in most of the worlds
leading economies to limit the flood of text messages to private
mobile phones.

It is true to say that SMS has entered the mainstream as an
advertising medium because of the flexibility it offers to
advertisers. While email goes out over the public internet,
mobile text messages are distributed via a wireless service.
This has given advertisers who are using the system the
opportunity to initiate ways to track of the sort of
advertisements that are going out over their networks. Also
there are several agencies concerned with mobile marketing. Two
of these are the Interactive Advertising Bureau and the Mobile
Marketing Association. MMA. Part of their task has been to set
parameters for the industry.

In the beginning mobile marketing was negatively received by
the media. This was due to its vulnerability to spam text
messages. Admittedly many advertisers blemished the name of the
medium. They employed the classic spam techniques, such as
buying lists of mobile numbers and sending unwanted messages to
tens of thousands of mobile phones. Once regulatory guidelines
were put in place, however, mobile marketing matured and became
popular with advertisers and acceptable to mobile phone owners.
According to the experts, over 100 million SMSs marketing
various products are sent to mobiles every month.

Mobile marketing has reached maturity over the past few years.
The main reason has been that businesses are devoting a large
portion of their direct advertising budgets to this form of
advertising. Because companies regard mobile texting as a
valuable investment, they are keen not to see the system abused.
An important reason for businesses using mobile marketing is
that customers are increasingly asked permission to have SMS
sent to their phones.

Mobile operators are even putting in place double opt in
measures so that consumers are very sure they want to receive
text messages. In addition, consumers are able to opt out of the
service whenever they wish by SMSing the word STOP to the sender
of the message. Advertisers and mobile operators now follow the
guidelines that are present in the MMA Consumer Best Practices
Guidelines. All mobile marketers in the US are obliged to comply
with these guidelines.

to 18 pounds).

The source of power is usually a single main battery, or an
external AC/DC adapter is used. Apart from supplying power to
the laptop, it also charges the battery. To avoid havoc in case
of power failure, a 3 Volt cell is provided to run the clock and
other vital system processes.

Though laptops are equally capable and powerful as desktop
computers, they are much more expensive than similar capability
and configuration desktop computer. Size is the unique property
of a laptop. The components used in both, laptops and desktops
are the same in terms of the functions they perform, but the
components in laptops are miniaturized and made to support
efficient power consumption.

LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is usually the technology used for
the display screen. They have a built-in keyboard and a touchpad
as input devices. Provision is also made for connection of
external mouse, and even keyboard.

Apart from the advantages like compactness and mobility, a set
of disadvantages has also been associated with laptops.

A huge amount of discrepancy is observed when it comes to
standardization issues of laptops. There exist worldwide
standards for form factors of the peripherals and add-in PC
cards used in a desktop computer. But no such standards are as
yet enforced for form factors of laptop internals. Electric
voltage, motherboard layouts, internal adapters used in
connecting the hard disk, optical drive, LCD cable, keyboard and
floppy drive to the main board, all still face issues with
standardization. These hits hard on the poor user who is
uneducated in this relevant field. Apart from them, a bit of
difficulty may also be faced by the repair technicians.
Familiarization of different parts and hardware that perform the
same function is important.

As an outcome of the improper, or all most no standardization,
the laptops suffer compatibility problems too. Most of the
times, it is not possible to use one manufacturer`s components
in the laptop produced by another manufacturer. The reasons
behind this can be assurance of product stability, prolong
product lifetime, and to avoid dubious warranty issues. Some
manufacturers provide the laptops with a set of ports to let the
user connect the hardware that he wants to use.

Upgradation of a laptop is another issue. Due to both technical
and economic reasons, it is limited. Due to the proprietary
designs of the laptops by each manufacture, it is difficult to
upgrade them and most of the times even repairing is a costly
affair. The standard peripherals, like audio, video, USB, 1394,
Wi Fi, Bluetooth, are integrated in the motherboard. Upgrading
these thus requires either of external ports, card slots or
wireless peripherals. As far as the memory units and batteries
are concerned, they can generally be upgraded according to the
user`s needs.

Performance is another issue. RAM is shared between program
memory and graphic adapters in laptops. Because of which
performance of the laptop is affected. The major concern of the
designer is compactness and energy efficiency against high
performance. Generally, for the home requirement, laptops prove
out to be good options for fast achievement of required
performance. With new technology like dual core processors and
perpendicular recording, laptops` performance is already showing
a progressive graph when compared to the desktops.

Laptops can also pose health hazards. Temperature generated by
laptop can affect sterility in men. Also, laptop keyboard can
lead to RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury). Thus it is advised to
place the laptop on a table or desk when working.

Most RC car owners would get so excited by the time they put
their hands on their very own remote-controlled cars just
because owning one is like owning a big car as well. But of
course, no matter how different these RC cars are compared to
actual cars that big boys drive, there are important reminders
one has to remember and follow.

These are usually the basic things that anyone should remember
when handling anything new for the first time. Ensuring what
could make an object last and remain in good shape depends
highly on how an owner takes care of it. Similar to many things,
for example, the toys that we've had when we were just kids
could have probably last longer if we only knew how to take care
of it properly. The proper cleaning and storing procedures of
these objects are not to be taken for granted because these
simple steps are what keeps our toys and even valuable
possessions remain intact against the test of time. This simply
means that taking care of a RC car that you own should only be
done in the same degree.

For your RC car, make sure that you run several check ups
before and after using it. doesn't matter if you are just going
to use it for a run test or you are actually going to compete,
the point here is that, you are sure that your RC car is in its
optimum condition during every run.

Batteries are very much important. In terms of charging
batteries, make sure that you have followed the required
charging amount according to the manual. A fail safe test is
always good prior to using your RC car. This will prevent a
great deal of injury to the one who's going to drive it and to
other RC cars on the track.

Always start in a slow pace. It's not advisable to speed off
immediately. Be sure that you know your car's speed capacity and
limit before starting off with a speed. And of course, clean
your RC car after you are done with it for the day. Simple but
really effective rules everyone should keep in mind.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
I've been in Spanish classes for the past two weeks. It's been
great. As a non-native Spanish speaker, it is important to
refresh your Spanish by having a professional correct your
mistakes. I tend to pick up bad habits along the way and to go
back to the class, every now and then, is excellent for retuning
my Latin Linguistic Skills.

What has been equally excellent and most refreshing are the
contacts I've made with Americans who have been in the school.
There have been the usual bunch of the "way-out-there" crowd.
There have also been some individuals who have been simply
marvelous. They've managed to help restore a little faith in me
to discover a "New Wave", so to speak, of potential expats, not
Fakepats, who realize the dire importance of learning Spanish as
the key that unlocks the door to the culture.

Amazingly, in talking with several of those planning on
retiring full-time to Mexico, I've found those who have been
making the same observations I have been writing about and for
which I've garnered the hatred of the Gringolandians in San
Miguel de Allende and the city of Guanajuato, where my wife and
I live.

One example is the clannishness issue with the Guanajuatenses.
You would have thought that because I observed this region of
Mexico is different from other regions in that the people of
Guanajuato tend to be more clannish than other Mexicans in other
parts of the country, that I had spoken a sacrilege. One fellow
who has been coming to Guanajuato for more than thirty years and
who has lived here full-time off and on, spoke to me about the
clannishness of this city.

Another example is the issue of anti-American sentiment.
Another American told me of a group of the younger people who
are students in the school who went to a club over the weekend
here in Guanajuato. They ended up having to leave the club
because of the hostility they encountered from the Mexican young
people who told them, very frankly, they were not welcome in
Guanajuato and that they should "go home."

I have been talking about these incidents for years in my
blogs, articles, and columns, and for my efforts I've received
death threats, wishes, and have been told I am the most hated
gringo in all of Guanajuato, if not Mexico itself.

Interesting, don't you think?

I've been encouraged. I have felt renewed. I feel giddy that
there are those heading for Guanajuato who have every intention
of never having one thing to do with Gringolandia or her Lord of
the Flies Gringolandians. This is good.

I am also renewed with a better understanding of what I need to
work on in my Spanish learning adventure and am looking forward
to taking private lessons in a couple of weeks.

To save your money in coming to Mexico to study Spanish make
sure you've got as much Spanish under your belt before coming to
Mexico. Take advantage of all the many home-study course
available and listen to the until you sicken of them. That way,
you will be prepare for sitting in a Spanish class where there
will be no spoken English at all. The instruction will all be in
Spanish!

If you are looking for that perfect piece of jewelry to let her
know just how much she is loved, it can be helpful to know how
to quickly identify the symbols that will convey your message in
an instant. Whether you're buying as a gift for someone else or
you simply appreciate the reminder that love, in general, is an
important part of life and you want to treat yourself to a
beautiful piece of jewelry, there's no time like the present to
start shopping.

The Claddagh is a longstanding symbol of love, which was first
created during the 17th century. Recognized as a design that
features a crowned heart in the center, which is being held by a
pair of hands, this symbol is one of the most recognized in
jewelry today. The hands are said to stand for friendship, the
crown for loyalty and the heart in the center was created to
symbolize, you guessed it, love.

In recent years, the circle design has become a staple in the
jewelry market. Although it remains a popular trend, it has
already earned the right to be called a classic. It's clean and
polished design offers a simplistic symbol for a very powerful
emotion - love. A circle, like a wedding band, is an unbroken
line. It's continuity symbolizes an endless devotion to another,
which is why it's a popular way to show someone just how much
they are loved. This beautiful design, however, is not just for
lovers. In fact, it can be worn by anyone who simply adores the
beauty of a circle design and it can also be exchanged between
friends or relatives as a gift of love.

Speaking of a classic design, the cameo is one that promises to
remain so for years to come. When you look at a cameo, you see a
piece of jewelry that consists of a carved profile portrait that
sits atop a background of a different color. Believe it or not,
this traditional image is one that also symbolizes love. It has
been given by grandmothers to granddaughters, from mothers to
daughters and from husbands to their wives.

If you or someone you know loves color or is born in the month
of May, the emerald may have a special place in your heart. What
you may not know is that this gemstone is also the stone of
success and love, which makes it a perfect gift to give to show
someone how much they mean to you. Whether it's an emerald ring,
a pair of earrings or a necklace, this rare and precious
gemstone is a favorite of many. If you can't afford the real
thing or you typically shy away from gems that feature
inclusions, of which a natural emerald has, you can find
simulated emerald that offers an eyeclean appearance at a
fraction of the cost.

If you're still in the market for a piece of jewelry that
symbolizes love, you can't go wrong with the traditional image
of a heart. Available in both polished, textured and covered
with gemstones, this universal symbol of love is a popular pick
in jewelry. Certain designs are known to convey a message
without even saying a word and, when it comes to jewelry, a
subtle reminder of how someone feels about you is the most
precious of all.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Costa Rica is a beautiful travel destination that has caught
the attention of the world. Recent statistics indicate that
tourism has growing rapidly over the recent years and is expect
to continue expand. Literally called the "Rich Coast" by the
Spanish explorers Costa Rica has access to both the Pacific and
Caribbean seas.

Costa Rica Tourism is considered a USD 1.9 billion a year
industry. It stands out as the most visited nation in the
Central American region and records to date show that 1.9
million visitors enjoy the country's beauty and hospitality.
More than half of the tourists come from the United States and a
fifth of the total number come from Europe.

Costa Rica now prides itself in having two major international
airports (SJO and LIR) and several domestic airports. The first
major airport is Juan Santamaría Airport (SJO) and it is
accessible to major cities of the country which are Alajuela,
Heredia and the capital city of San José. The second
international airport is Daniel Oduber Quirós International
Airport (LIR) and it is located in Liberia, near the Guacanaste
province and closest to the Pacific Northwest coast.

Increases in Costa Rica tourism are tied to the Liberia
international airport. Plans are underway to expand this
facility to continue to accommodate the surge of visitors. New
developments in the northern region of Costa Rica is one of the
major reasons for the increased visitor traffic. Nowadays,
luxury hotels, enchanting villas and mesmerizing rentals are
constantly on the rise in this part of the country.

Costa Rica is the pioneer in strategic ecotourism. Thus, there
are many exciting destinations in the country where nature can
best be appreciated. Tourists can visit any one of the country's
national parks: Chirripo National Park, Manuel Antonio National
Park, Cahuita National Park, Corcovado National Park and Tapanti
National Park. Other environmental tourist spots are the
Monteverde and Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserves and the Pacuare
River and Protected Zone.

Going on a holiday in Costa Rica is far from boring. Due to the
fact that prostitution is legal in the country, sex tourism has
become one of the country's tourist attractions. The industry is
slowly gaining popularity, making it one of the national
destinations of `sex tourists' and the commerce already accounts
for approximately 1/10 or 10% of the billion dollar industry.
However there are many people who have decided to avoid Costa
Rica as a result of the sex tourism industry.

According to the first Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index
published by the World Economic Forum, Costa Rica tourism
astonishingly ranks 41st place, making themselves the first
among other Latin American countries. It is definitely a feat,
since if the forum only takes into consideration major factors
such as human, cultural and natural resources, Costa Rica places
20th at a worldwide level.

Costa Rica tourism will continue to grow as the world discovers
the beauty of this tropical paradise. This will provide an
increase economic growth and the growth of the infrastructure
that is associated with the tourism industry. The future is
bright for Costa Rica and its tourism industry.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Money can't buy happiness is the old saying that we fall back
on when times are tough and the bank account isn't looking too
good. This saying does give a measure of comfort, but it is only
fleeting, because once the thought of happiness has come up,
then we start asking ourselves, Are we really are happy?

It is true you can't actually go out and buy happiness. There
is not a ratio of happiness to money, the more money you have
will not make you that much happier, but with little money there
is worry and stress. There is a strong ratio between stress and
health

Financial stress is probably the number one concern for most
people. It is hard to enjoy life when you are always worried
about the next cent. Major stress has a trickle down effect on
your health.

If you are not sleeping well because you are worried about
unpaid bills, this will gradually take its toll on your body.
Adequate rest is essential for good health.

If you are juggling two jobs and not eating properly your body
won't be able to cope. When you need a paycheck, you need to be
fit enough to earn it.

The amount of choices you are free to make is directly related
to how much money you have. Wealth can help you to achieve
lifestyle that improves your health, because you are under less
stress, have the time and money to eat the right diet, and live
in a healthy environment.

We all want lifestyle and not necessarily the million dollar
kind. Some folks dreams are very ordinary. There is nothing
ordinary though, about getting the extra money to achieve them.

Our dream was to be able to live aboard a sailing boat and we
did manage it for a few short periods. No matter what we tried,
we were never able to amass enough money to do it permanently.

We tried everything; sales jobs that were supposed to earn us
fabulous commissions; being self employed that was to give us
the ability to expand and the tax breaks that come with it;
network marketing had all the potentials but none of the
rewards. We even tried gambling systems and get rich quick
schemes. At one time we were doing five jobs, as in physical
jobs between us and still we were going nowhere.

The crunch came when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. During
my recovery, I had a lot of time to think and I decided I wasn't
happy with our lifestyle, or rather our way of life, as there
was no "style" to it! We had sold our last yacht and moved
ashore to give our two children a chance at going to university.
Now they had left home, (they were both traveling the world, not
going to university) we decided to buy another boat and have
another shot at the dream.
In the beginning the cash flow had to come from conventional
jobs. But that was okay because at the end of the day, when we
sat on the deck having our sundowner we were living part of the
dream.

We decided what we needed was a "portable income". That is an
income that we could earn while we were on the move, an income
that would allow us to stay on our yacht and cruise when we felt
like it. We could have moved to the mountains or a beach. We
didn't have to consider commuting to work or being in a
populated area to give us an income.

Technological advances have made it easier to do business on
the move via wireless broadband. So it was a logical choice for
us to look in this direction to create our portable income. In
the past, to have a telephone and computer connections meant
having a place of residence and staying put. Not any more. We
can literally have our office on board a boat.

I always worried about money, and when we got into debt I
couldn't cope. My biggest dream was to be debt free. We don't
have a big yacht, but we do have a lifestyle. Not constantly
worrying about money, takes years off your age.

A portable income is exciting for us because now we can begin
to think about other things we'd like. Old dreams can be brought
out again and dusted off, because suddenly it's possible to
think beyond a weekly paycheck.

Creating a portable income isn't easy, but once we had
developed a system that we could repeat over and over, we knew
we were on our way. The dividends when this starts to take off
are not only financial, but gone also is the stress. Now we have
lifestyle, and we will be healthy enough to enjoy it.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
If you are looking for a way to bring in some extra cash by
working from home then affiliate marketing is often seen as the
quick and easy way. As you go into more depth you may learn to
your cost that it is not necessarily as easy as those people
selling you their products make out!

There are a few key factors that you need to bear in mind
before you jump headfirst into this fast and competitive
business:

Firstly, you need to decide if it is really for you, what I
mean by that is, by its' very nature, affiliate marketing is
about advertising, people pushing products trying to get other
people to buy those products via their links. If you are not
prepared to spend time learning about different ways of
advertising and then implementing what you learn, then stick
with the day job. Too often people forget that this is a Work at
home business. If you are not prepared to work at it, it will
fail.

Secondly, do your research. Both of the product you are
considering advertising and of the person/company selling the
product. When you first start looking you will find there are so
many wonderful items out there for all sorts of niches. Make
sure your credit card is locked in a draw in another room! It is
very easy to get carried away and buy everything. DON'T!
Unfortunately there are still scams out there that will leave
you with a bad taste in your mouth, a hole in your wallet and a
feeling of giving up. If you research each potential purchase
thoroughly you should be able to avoid the scammers.

Thirdly learn what tools you will need to enable your business
to work. It is possible to make money without a website just by
advertising your affiliate links but everywhere you look you
will be told or you will read that, "The money is in the list!"
to the "newbie" this means nothing because they do not have a
list. If you want to make money over an extended period of time,
and you want to earn money without having to work too hard then
having the right tools at the outset will make your life so much
easier in the long run. In my opinion you should budget for
buying a domain name, a web hosting package (for your website)
and an autoresponder. In my mind these are the key elements to
building a successful online business.

If you can find a product or package that provides all of these
then I would suggest you buy it as well as market it because it
is the perfect start point for any "newbie". Having set up your
website and your autoresponder, you drive your potential
customers here, getting them to opt-in to your list before you
redirect them via your affiliate marketing link to the product
they were interested in. This way even if they do not buy the
product you have got them on your list, where everyone keeps
telling you the money is!

There are several teaching courses online. Some are free to a
certain point. While others do in fact have a fee. Teaching
courses online range in a variety of areas, from daycare to high
school to becoming a college professor of some kind.

Can you believe there are even teaching courses online for yoga
instructors and other physical teaching jobs in different areas
of that field.

I knew there were a lot of course online you could take,
however when it comes to teaching I guess one tends to think of
the normal teaching of reading, writing, and the basic
schooling. Teaching courses online are all over the Internet. I
looked at a few of the different web sites and to my surprise,
so of the teaching courses online, didn't take all that long.
And you don't even have to set one foot in a classroom.

For daycare, the teaching courses online that I seen were the
ones that didn't seem to cost as much as some of the other
teaching courses online.

When you take some king of teaching course online, it is
basically the same as if you were going to a college or
University somewhere to become a teacher. The amount of time it
takes is a little different, however you have to meet the
requirements and pass all the necessary testing and exams before
you actually become a teacher.

I was also able to find teaching courses online for those
wanting to work in special education situations with children of
special learning needs. Its truly amazing how many different
types of teaching courses online that are actually available.
You need to purchases some materials I noticed with some of the
web sites. Such as books or other supplies that you will
eventually be using over the period of the teaching course
online you are taking. However, they are delivered to you,
before that specific assignment comes up on the website.

You can take it for what its worth, but I thought some of the
web sites were rather confusing. For the simple reason that the
teaching courses online didn't seem like they would be
legitimate, but I suppose they would be, considering you would
eventually have to take the state exam in whichever state you
were in after completing the teaching courses online, or so
that's what I read on one of the many web sites that are on the
Internet for teaching courses online available.

Some of the colleges that were offering the teaching courses
online I did recognize while others I didn't and so it is wise
to be careful when choosing a site or college, and in most of
the sites I went through there were also toll free numbers where
you could request information or have a representative for the
teaching courses online of the college or university to call you
back.

One thing I did find absolutely hard to believe and that was a
teaching course online for sign language, this was perhaps the
most awkward in the web sites I checked out. However everyone is
different. So, it would depend on the individual and what it is
they are wanting to learn to teach, as far as teaching courses
online and what to look for.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
If you ever find yourself in need of a pet sitter because you
have to go out of town or have a vacation planned, you want only
the best care for your dog and you want a reliable sitter that
will treat your pet as lovingly as you do. You already have
thoughts of unhappiness because you have to leave, therefore,
you want to have someone that will care for your pet the same
way that you do. There are pet sitting services that take care
of your pet just as you would and make sure they remain safe.

Trust is Important

You want a service that will not only take excellent care of
your dog, but also one you can trust with your belongings as
well. Because of this, you are going to want to conduct an
interview and determine if the service is right for you and if
they have honest workers. There are some important questions to
ask when interviewing a potential pet sitting service.

Because accidents or unfortunate things can happen, you need to
find out if they have a certain veterinarian service that they
use and if they are always on call. You should also present the
service you choose with your veterinarians name and any
documents you have regarding your dogs health. This is vital in
case of an emergency. They should also know that they could
contact your personal vet as well.

You also want to know how they go about securing your home and
your dog to prevent any accidents or possible break ins. In
other words, how do they make sure your home is secure as what
you have it when they arrive and leave? They should not only be
concerned with your dog's safety but also your home since they
are entering the home when you are gone. This is important when
considering a pet sitter.

Another thing to inquire about is their plans for a back up pet
sitter if the one that takes care of your home and dog is
prevented from getting to your house due to unforeseen
circumstances such as weather or sickness. You do not want to
come home to a house that has accidents and possible break ins
because no one shoed up to take care of your dog. This could
also affect your dog's health and not in a good way if they are
neglected.

Price can also be a major issue. The rate charged will depend
on several things, including the distance you live from their
location, the type of pet you have, and the amount of time
required with your pet. Also, a single individual pet sitter
will usually cost significantly less than an organization. This
is because the pet sitter gets to keep 100% of your fee, instead
of giving 2/3's or more to the organization to pay for
insurance, marketing, and other costs.

After obtaining all the answers, you should be able to pick the
right pet sitter service that will take care of your dog and
your home while you are away.
