================== ARTICLE START ==================
Smoking often gets started as a fun among friends and ends with
ruining one's life personally as well as professionally. People
who are used to smoke at regularly basis are not only at
potential risks of getting deadly diseases like cancer but also
make people surrounding them vulnerable to these diseases. Your
puffs can wreck your relationships. Thus, it is always better to
restrain oneself from smoking. But if one has got webbed with
this vicious habit, he needs to quit his habit of smoking for
his welfare and for the sake of well being of his family. Though
it is never easy to quit smoking if you have become a chain
smoker, but few things can really help of you get over with this
sin.

First and most important is self belief. You have to entrust
yourself that you can quit. To make your belief, you need to
recollect the bad experiences you have encountered in past and
then the way you emerged as a winner over those conditions and
circumstances. This helps you to imbibe a confidence level in
yourself that you have the power to quit this bad habit of
yours. You have faced many more difficult situations than this
and handled them well, so this is another bad phase of yours you
need to overcome.

The next thing is to have a self control over you also called
self control. You need to show your resistance and will power
whenever someone offers you cigarette. You can get drool for a
single puff and one generally thinks from next time I will not
smoke. But there lies the problem. You console yourself to be
resistant next time but sad, this way next time never comes up.
Make a commitment with your loved one and always keep in your
mind that you are going to ditch her/ him by taking even a
single puff of cigarette. Just remember that person and think
can you accept that person ditching you? If no, then you need to
stop yourself as you are doing the same thing and that person
can't accept you not keeping the promise you made with her/ him.

Another factor which proves how fast you quit smoking is how
long you can sustain your commitment to quit smoking. It is
pretty easy for a person to keep his resolution of not to smoke
for a shorter period but it needs real commitment from you to
make it a long term decision. Without effective support of
family and friends it is hard to keep your resolution. Ask your
family and friends to push you hard to not to allow you to smoke
whatever plea you can take and if possible for you, ask them to
punish you if you got caught smoking. Another way to sustain the
will to quit smoking is to jot down on a paper your reasons to
quit and benefits. Make a habit to read that paper every day.

Just following these simple ways, you can overcome your habit
of smoking.

If you have previous credit problems on your record and need to
purchase a car, you may need to apply for what is called a bad
credit used car loan. A bad credit used car loan will allow you
to purchase a vehicle, but you will usually be expected to pay
it off in a shorter time frame and at a higher rate of interest.

Today many traditional car lenders are offering extended
payment terms; some allow you up to seven years to pay off the
vehicle. A bad credit used car loan usually must be repaid
within a 48-month time frame. Since the vehicle you are buying
is used and your amount financed will be less, the lender
expects the loan to be paid off in a shorter amount of time.

Research the Prices of Used Cars

Before making an offer on a used car, you should research the
average price value. By doing this you will know if a dealer has
inflated the price in order to make an excessive profit. You
will want to make sure you are purchasing the car from a
reputable dealership.

There are a lot of companies who do most of their business with
customers who have less than perfect credit scores. Some of
these dealers may try to take advantage of customers. Just
because you have had credit problems in the past, this does not
mean you should pay an outrageous amount in interest rates or
other fees.

Shop Online For a Lender

Online auto loan lenders make applying for a loan quick and
convenient. By applying online you will have access to several
lenders and their rates. Applications for online auto loans can
be filled out in just a short time and the approval is almost
always granted the same day.

An important point to remember when applying for a used car
loan on bad credit is that banks have limits to how old of a
vehicle you can purchase. The majority of banks will not grant
loans to vehicles more than four or five years old. You should
also try to make a substantial down payment when purchasing a
used car. This will lower both the interest rate you are charged
and the length of the loan.

How We Sabotage Ourselves And What To Do About It
Everyone wants to be beautiful, young, healthy and fit.
There is no end to the diets, workouts and health plans.
Yet the most important diet of all has been overlooked.
This is a diet that releases stress, relaxes muscles,
offers sound sleep, diminishes appetite, and makes you look
and feel younger; it brings you new friends, a happy work
environment, good relationships, and adds years to your
life. This is the diet from anger' one of the worst
plagues facing our nation.

Anger is a serious problem for one in every five Americans.
Road rage, workplace violence, school shootings, domestic
abuse and addiction are just a few of its many outlets. The
reason such a huge proportion of our nation is on
anti-depressants, involved in alcohol, and drug addiction,
overweight, in broken relationships and involved in all
kinds of destructive behavior, can be directly traced back
to the effects of anger, particularly the hidden kind. It
has also been well documented that anger strongly affects
physical health and is directly related to heart attacks,
blood pressure, back pain and many other physical
disorders. This is called symptom substitution.

We also turn our anger against ourselves in other ways. We
become depressed or experience mood disorders,
hopelessness, passive aggressive behavior, promiscuity,
domestic abuse and many other forms of general misery.
Sometimes anger converts itself into obsessive-compulsive
disorders and individuals become unable to make decisions
or choices about their lives.

Anger is ruthless in the course it takes, attacking and
disrupting our body, minds and spirits. As school and
workplace shootings rise, the divorce rate climbs, people
are on increasing anti-depressants. Many are increasingly
unable to deal with the stress of 9-11 and an everyday
terrorist threat. It is clear that anger is a societal
problem, which is only growing worse. It is time we paid
attention to the #1 terrorist we face: the anger we live
with every day.

At the present time many of individuals in our society are
dependent upon medication of all kinds. Anti-depressants,
anti-anxiety drugs, weight loss supplements, low blood
pressure medication, blood thinners and anti-bionics of
many kinds are taken to ease the many symptoms of
unhappiness, unbalance and disease we suffer from. On the
face of it the symptoms seem to differ from one another. If
we look a little deeper, however, we can see that beneath
the various forms of distress that appear, anger is quietly
smoldering.

Today we fear many external enemies. It is not so easy to
realize, however, that the worst enemy we face is this
anger that resides within, the terror it causes us, and the
ways in which this poison dictates so much of our lives.

Anger has many faces. It appears in many forms and creates
different consequences. Anger that is overt and clear cut
is the simplest to deal with and understand. When we or
someone we know is openly angry, we know what we are up
against and can directly address the cause.

Most anger lurks beneath the surface, however. It often
does not even come to our awareness and manifests in
endless, hidden ways - as depression, anxiety, apathy,
hopelessness, and in many, many other forms.

It is crucial that we recognize anger for what it is,
realize when it is appearing and notice the devastation it
creates. Then we have an opportunity to root out this
underground stream feeds our misery, and the misery we
cause others. When anger is allowed to remain camouflaged
it holds us in its grip and easily erodes the entire
quality of our lives.

What To Do:

Just as we work out daily in the gym to strengthen muscles
and attain flexibility, it is necessary to work out and
strengthen the parts of ourselves that can recognize and
release anger easily. We must learn to give up the various
forms of anger and replace them with a healthy antidote.
Some healthy antidotes to anger include: letting go of
blame, forgiveness, generosity, seeing the best in others,
letting the other be right, (just for today), giving others
the benefit of the doubt.

Choose one antidote and work with it for an entire day.
Then choose another. You will begin to feel so good, you
won't want to go back to the old ways. As we daily
eliminate the toxicity anger provides to our systems, not
only will the results be reflected in our mental and
emotional well-being, but in our environment and physical
health as well. Eventually it will become impossible for
anger to maintain the hold it once had upon them.

All teachings encourage us to be forgiving, but there is
little actual instruction on how to accomplish this. Each
of the antidotes listed above will help you along the way.
Anger is the great impediment to forgiveness. When anger is
rooted out, love and forgiveness arise naturally. Our lives
and the lives of those around us then become hallowed and
become all they are meant to be.

Resell rights products typically represent eBooks and software
programs created by one party and provided for other parties to
sell and keep all of the profits. Resell rights items can be
sold in their own right or bundled to create a truly unique
package that is entirely yours alone. It takes just minutes to
create a fabulous information package that can become a reliable,
regular, best selling product on eBay and elsewhere.

Resell rights can be used to create your own product, literally
in minutes, and all you do is choose titles, bundle them, give
them an eye-catching, order-pulling title and market them!

Other reasons why resell rights titles should form a major part
of your product creation center:

* Most titles are very high quality, created by experienced
writers, and come with professionally created sales letters and
web pages for you to use.

* You can resell products any way you like, either individually
or by combining several titles into your own unique product.

* It's the easiest, fastest way to start your own international
publishing company, whether selling on eBay and other online
auctions, by mail order, direct mail, on the Internet, or by any
of many other methods you'll discover as your business
progresses.

* No writing skills are needed, ever, and you can still market
the world's best-selling books to countless eager buyers.

* You can start on a very low budget, sometimes just ten or
twenty dollars for your first product and plough back your
profits into building an extensive library of best-selling titles
to sell as back end or lead products.

* The whole business can be placed on automatic pilot, both on
and off the Internet.

* There are literally thousands of ways to market your products,
making repackaging resell rights a very good idea, meaning you
don't have to spend money or time writing your own titles when
every minute is better spent marketing for bigger and better
profits.

There are several ways to repackage products, sometimes including
just one item you have acquired with resell rights, sometimes by
combining hundreds of different or complementary resell rights
items.

* Combine Two or Three Items WITH a Common Theme. This is based
on niche packaging, and simply involves promoting a combination
of much the same items other people are selling, all unchanged,
but offering them in a different way which makes your package
unique to your business. Basically all you do is decide on a
theme, such as selling on eBay, gambling, caring for babies and
children, pets, making money via various opportunities, and so
on. This is how I created my most profitable repackaged item
ever, called 'Multi Income Stream Business Systems', and it
took me just half a day to create and sold well at $97 a time.
The web site was easy and quick to create and all I did was list
the items chosen for my package with a short description and
pictures as taken directly from the web sites accompanying my
chosen resell rights titles.

* Combine Two or Three Items WITHOUT a Common Theme. Here the
products are unconnected, or perhaps a few connect, but there is
no overall niche market underlining the package. The product
usually appeals to marketers who need new items to sell and
others who simply like reading eBooks without intention to
profit. Packages like this can be fabulous best sellers
especially where quality graphics are used to attract browsers to
open your eBay listings.

* Bundle Numerous Packages WITH a Common Theme and a High Ticket
Price. This repackaging technique provides lots of information
about one specific niche market, like selling on eBay, gambling,
and so on. People who are sceptical about you or eBay or buying
online in general, may be reluctant to buy a high priced item up
front, but they may buy a small low price item from you,
whereupon you offer this more expensive at the back-end of that
first sale. Can you see where the real beauty lies of selling
really cheap items in expectation of more expensive sales later,
potentially for years to come? Another major benefit of this
packaging technique is that it is easier to make these packages
appeal to buyers even if you lack copywriting skills yourself.
With so many great titles, pictures and web sites available, all
you do is use the graphics, write a few words about each package,
then leave your pictures to do the job of selling. A massive
jumble of graphics and a long sales letter make this type of
package very hard to ignore and often leads to high conversion
rates among people who earlier bought smaller, lower priced
repackaged items.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Some people say that the first five years of marriage is the
hardest, some others say it’s the first seven years.

But, do you know that those numbers are not significant? No
matter how long or short the age of your marriage is, problems
will always be there. Those having been married for fifteen
years or more can be trapped into any troubles.

So, both spouses need to put all their effort to make the
marriage work. It can’t be just the wife or the husband.
It takes two to tango.

What to do then?

•Communication

The most crucial thing in a marriage is communication. If it
doesn’t go well, consider your marriage over. A good
communication is the key to a happy marriage. With it you can
express your thoughts and feelings to each other. It helps you
both create an understanding towards each other. If you have
problems, talk about them openly.

•Commit

Make sure that both of you are committed to make the marriage
work. This has to be one of the most important things to
consider before you say ‘I do.’ And, later, during
the years, you should restore your commitment to keep it fresh.

•Respect Each other

In any relationship, either it’s friendship or others, it
is important to have respect towards each other.

•Love and love

When you decided to get married, you had so much love for your
partner. Keep it alive by memorizing all your beautiful moments
together.

•Romance

Who says that married couple cannot date? Of course they can.
And, they have to, if they want to have a successful marriage
and avoid the most frightening word, ‘divorce.’

Don’t ever wish for a perfect marriage. Nothing is
perfect in this world. The most important thing is that both you
and your spouse are willing to have a happy marriage. Happiness
is enough. Happiness is all you need.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Austria, Switzerland and Andorra were among the European ski
countries last year who saw a decline in ski holiday visitors,
and Andorra has been investing in her facilities to try and
tempt the skiiers she lost back for the 2008 season.

In the past Andorra has grown in stature from a destination
offering cheap ski holidays to one that can compete with the
best that Europe has to offer, with a growing number of ski
holidays being taken in the country over the last decade to the
point where it was attracting some ten million tourists a year.

But unexpectedly the rise in visitors to Andorra came to a
screeching halt for the 2006/7 ski season, and the ski slopes
closed two weeks earlier than anticipated due to a lack of snow
that saw many other resorts in Europe, especially in countries
with low lying slopes like Austria, badly affected by the lack
of natural snow.

The Andorra economy is unusually reliant on the ski holidays
industry, the other main activity being the financial and
banking industry due to her tax haven status, and the weather in
Andorra refused to play her part last year. Some estimates
suggest takings for supermarkets, petrol stations, department
stores and supermarkets were down some 40 per cent compared to
2006 in the main ski holiday areas.

The good news for the Andorra ski holidays industry as it hopes
for an improved 2008 holidays season is that the snow - notably
absent last year - started to fall in November, and long range
weather forecasts suggest that January through to April could
see enough snow to give Andorra skiers good snow depth, and
little if any need for snow cannons to make up any shortfall.

But the tourist authorities are determined not to be caught out
again, and continue with the progress made in the last twenty
years that has seen Andorra rise impressively from a cheap ski
holiday destination to one that caters for the middle and
upmarket price range with UK ski holiday specialist companies
like Crystal Ski offering a full range of holidays in Andorra.

Private money as well as finance from the banks in Andorra have
helped to upgrade Soldeu, a main Andorra ski holiday resort, to
a high class status with new hotels and upgrades for existing
ones.

Andorra Weather

In total it is estimated that nearly 200 million Euros has been
invested in Andorra's on-mountain ski facilities, and the figure
rises significantly when off-mountain spending is taken into
account, such as the new hotels in Andorra, notably in the top
ski areas of Soldeu and Arinsal.

The ski areas of Andorra have been praised by many in the
industry for having the capability of producing enough man made
snow to cover over 40 per cent of the ski domain, but investment
has continued to further this already high amount by having for
the 2008 ski holiday season over a thousand snow cannons in
place - although it is hoped they don't have to be used much.

'The aim of the Andorra tourist authorities', comment local
travel guide YourAndorra.com, 'is to ensure that when skiiers
choose Andorra the resorts will do everything they can to make
their holiday a memorable one for all the right reasons - and to
see them again in future years as they decide Andorra is a good
skiing holiday destination.'

The upgrading of facilities and road infrastructure has also
increased interest from those looking for a European tax haven
and considering taking Andorra residency.

Andorra is one of the most sought after tax havens in Europe
with no income tax for her residents, and is second in
popularity only to Monaco, but enjoys the same tax benefits.

One of the big differences between the two is the cost of a
property. Real estate in Monaco is among the highest in the
world with a studio often costing over a million Euros, while
Andorra real estate is considerably less with good two bedroom
two bathroom apartments for sale from around 300,000 Euros.

To show the skiing fraternity that Andorra is capable of
meeting their expectations for the 2008 holiday season, and
importantly to meet the expectations of ski companies like
Thomson ski, Andorra will have 450 ski instructors over seven
different resorts, and to maintain her family friendly
atmosphere four creches.

All in all, Andorra will be able to compete as one of Europe's
top skiing destinations this year.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Difficulty in functioning socially, with other people, in
personal or professional life is an indication of a social
anxiety disorder that leads to depression. What is this all
about?

Social Anxiety Disorder -- What Is It?

Do you have extreme stage fright? Do you have difficulty
expressing yourself when in the company of non-relatives or
not-so-close acquaintances, unfamiliar people? For all you know,
you may be suffering from social anxiety disorder. This
disorder, sometimes known also as social phobia, is that state
of prolonged social anxiety and worry that causes you great
distress and hampers you from functioning properly in some, if
not most, areas of your daily life.

People around you may think that you are just shy since you
have been this way since you were a kid. Being bashful is the
adjective that describes you best. However, there is a line that
separates bashfulness from social anxiety disorder.

Are You Just Shy?

For example, if you have the disorder, you may not want to
mingle with other people because doing so brings you headaches,
nausea or worse will cause you to vomit.

With being shy, you don't feel like vomiting and dizzy, you are
only apprehensive of how you will approach other people. Once
you and the persons you are talking too have warmed up to each
other, you can converse with them without difficulty. A person
with social anxiety can not push himself to socialize. There is
no such thing as a warm up period for him.

Symptoms

Clinically, social anxiety disorder is manifested by excessive
anxiety and self-consciousness in the most ordinary of everyday,
normal situations involving other people. Sometimes, the
disorder is limited, as when you are only fearful of speaking or
performing in front of an audience, or you would not want to be
socializing with others. But in some cases the social phobia is
so broad and diverse that the anxiety manifests itself in almost
every situation where you are exposed to other people.

Socio-phobics have this irrational fear of being watched, of
being judged for their actions, of being evaluated every time by
others, whether these others be family, friends, co-workers, or
even strangers. The anxiety is so intense that the sociophobic
individual can not work or can not study, can not talk, can not
interact.

In front of other people, do you sweat profusely? Do you
tremble or blush excessively? Do you get goose bumps in the
company of a group of people? Do you become panicky when asked
to speak in front of others?

Degrees of Social Anxiety

Social anxiety has degrees of disorder. It may be mild or
severe. Mild social anxiety can be cured by therapy and simple
self-help techniques such as holding a stress ball during a
conference or a group meeting.

The severe form of this social anxiety needs medications since
most of the times anxiety is accompanied by psychotic symptoms
such as hearing things when exposed to the public.

How Do You Address Social Anxiety Disorder?

The repercussions and anti-social effects of this disorder are
far-reaching, so much so that you need to admit and accept the
fact if you feel any of the tell tale signs of a social anxiety
disorder. Diagnosis is very important for the proper treatment
regimen to be prescribed accordingly.

Cognitive behavior therapy is helpful in this. The behavioral
aspects of the therapy, coupled with the cognitive ones, are
brought in to affect thinking patterns and reactions to
situations that may cause anxiety. Coupled with the therapy are
some forms of prescriptive medications that include
antidepressants of the SSRI and SNRI types, the selective
serotonin re-uptake inhibitors and the serotonin-norepinephrine
re-uptake inhibitors, respectively.

Family Support

The pharmacological treatments, some experts contend, may not
be enough to totally cure the sufferer of the disorder. Aside
from the side effects brought about by the medications, the
tendency to relapse after the discontinuance of the drugs is
possible.

A deeper need for comprehensive psychotherapy may be in order
to ensure prolonged, if not permanent treatment. Take note,
however, that the therapy must be supported by the family and
close circle of friends; their support and guidance is critical
to reinforce the patient's feeling of self-worth again. Only
then will social functioning and ability to interact be possible
to be regained. Social anxiety disorder and depression are
curable; it only takes a little more help from the people behind
the sufferer.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
If space in your living room is something that you are lacking,
it can still be done with style. When you have a small living
space usually you want to do what you can to maximize the area
you have as well as keep it aesthetically pleasing. Luckily,
decorating a small living room to be big on style can be done
with some simple steps that will be expressed within this
article.

When maximizing a small space, think simple. A room that has a
lot of pieces of furniture and artwork can start to get crowded
quickly. At this point, you have a living room that feels,
looks, and is small. The trick to maximizing the space that you
have is to think simple. Include the necessary items in this
room such as a couch, maybe a television, maybe at least one
coffee table. Do not overdo it. Furniture comes in all different
shapes and sizes. For a small living room, do not get the
overstuffed pillows to accent the overstuffed couch. Think
simple. A standard couch with seating for three and possibly an
accent chair are really enough. No room for the accent chair?
Then a couch will have to do.

This is not to say that the walls have to be white and there
should be no artwork or other knickknacks on display. If you
want to paint your living rooms walls, keep to the brighter side
of the color palette. Do not choose dark colors because they
will only close the living room in and make it seem smaller.
When choosing paintings to display, take your time and choose
only a few. The artwork that you choose should also have lighter
tones to further enhance the illusion of space while adding a
decorative touch to the room.

Again, a cluttered wall will make the room seem smaller. When
decorating a small living room, it is best to choose a few items
that you really like and display those; likewise with
knickknacks. Corner shelves are wonderful for small pieces that
you'd like to display. They do not take a lot of room and you
can display pieces on them with relatively little trouble. Do
not, however, overload these shelves. This will still be
clutter. Choose a few pieces that match the current decor and
display those.

Usable items can be blended with the decor to enhance it as
well as serve a practical purpose. Instead of having three or
four remote controls placed randomly throughout the living room,
buy a remote caddy in the shape of a boat to enhance the outdoor
decor throughout the room. This is only one example, but usable
items are often incorporated in decor if you shop in the right
places. Craft stores or local craft sales are famous for
carrying items that you might not find in the chain stores. Use
this to your advantage. Remote control caddies are not all. You
can find pitchers that are decorated several different ways that
can act as vases for flowers that will enhance your decor among
several other things.

A small living room is ripe for creative decorative solutions.
They can be decorated to add space, enhance aesthetics, and
promote usability. More than any of these, they are a cozy,
intimate area in which a family can create strong bonds.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Building traffic to a blog or website can be a slow and
time-consuming process; unless you're very lucky, success
doesn't strike overnight. But with a bit of patience, and by
following some straightforward rules, you can see improvement in
your traffic statistics over weeks and months, which will see
your site grow, expand, and bring the visitors – and the revenue
– in.

Here are seven simple ways to boost your website traffic.

1. Content is King

It can't be stressed enough: content is king. Search engine
results and links from other sites and blogs are all very well,
but if there's nothing on your site worth looking at, those
visitors won't be back. The best way – the only way – to
guarantee repeat business, whether you're selling widgets or
blogging about cats, is to make sure that your site isn't just
easy to find, but actually worth reading once they are there.

So, as well as making sure that the content on your website is
relevant, interesting, and keyword optimized (see tip 4 below),
ensure that it's updated regularly – if you're running a sales
website, for example, make sure all your prices are up to date
and be sure to update the site regularly with details of new
special offers. If you have a blog, you should be putting new
posts up every day if you can.

2. Building links

This is a good way of building long-term site traffic,
particularly if you have a blog or website that may appeal to a
wider community of like-minded people. By putting links to other
sites on yours – both down the sidebar and in the body text of
your blog or website – you'll encourage other bloggers and
webmasters to do the same for you.

Over time, these reciprocal links become very useful – driving
traffic to your site and encouraging discussion of your content
on other sites and blogs. Search engines like Google tend to
rate a site more highly if there are lots of incoming links, so
go out and actively encourage other websites and forums to link
to your own.

3. Add tags

Make sure you add tags to all your pages and blog posts. Not
only do these serve an important purpose in helping search
engines to pick up your website, but they also help visitors
navigate around your blog or website, which in turn will help
you increase your site traffic. If your page title tags are
incorrect, on the other hand, that will have a corresponding
negative impact on your search engine rankings.

Many blog platforms such as Blogger will automatically attach
meta tags to post pages, but even then you should use category
tags to improve the visibility and navigability of your site.

4. Keywords

One of the most vital aspects of traffic building is to ensure
that you are using keywords properly. It's worth looking around
the Internet for specialist articles on this topic, because many
millions of words have been written on the subject. With good
reason; if you use keywords correctly, it will help build
traffic to your website or blog far more effectively than almost
any other method.

The basic rules are simple enough. Select the keywords and
keyword phrases of most interest to your prospective audience.
It may not be enough to use simple keywords, as there are
hundreds of thousands of websites selling "insurance" or
blogging about "politics." So, instead, try to focus on two or
three word keyword phrases that will help guide visitors to your
site, like "discount home insurance" - or "keyword phrases."

For the best visibility, put keyword phrases into the titles of
pages, near the top of your text, and in the meta description.

5. Be seen by search engines

This is a product of all the factors listed above, but there is
one further push that you can give your website to help with
building traffic, and that's to make sure that search engines
and aggregators know about your blog or site. Target the big
search engines, such as Google, but bear in mind that if you're
operating in a particular niche market, there may be specific
sites and search tools that like-minded people use.

Be sure that you are "pinging" search engines every time you
have new content. (There are free services that will do this for
you automatically, and many blog platforms will perform the same
function.) When it comes to blogs, there are many different
directories and search tools people use to find sites of
interest. Submit your blog to all of them and watch the inbound
links, and your search engine profile, grow.

Finally – and if you think it's worth your while – consider
paying search engines for higher placement. Research shows that
most people don't look beyond the top two or three search
results – so make your site one of those.

6. Analyze your traffic

Traffic building is a whole lot easier, if you know why people
are visiting your site in the first place, so get a stat
tracking device like SiteMeter or StatCounter – basic site
meters are free and help you track visitors by location,
duration of visit, pages looked at, and crucially, the URL that
referred them to your site. You can also sign up to paid site
metering services that give you more advanced coverage – these
are more appropriate if your site traffic is already quite high.
Once you've established who visits you and from where, you'll be
much better placed to work on increasing those visits.

7. Participate in other blogs and forums

This is particularly useful if you run a blog or a website that
caters to a particular interest group or niche market. For
example, if you run a website that sells tropical fish,
aquariums, and accessories, become a member of a forum or
newsgroup dedicated to fish. Post on relevant blogs and be sure
to comment, so they'll follow your links home, building traffic
for your website. You shouldn't overdo this, or "spam" other
sites with your own URL, but if you establish yourself as a
viable online presence, people will naturally want to visit your
site to see what you have to offer them.

Journey Through Loss and Change
We all feel that the world is stable and secure, that
change and loss will not come into our lives. When it does,
not only do we experience deep shock and sorrow, but our
normal anchors disappear. Confusion, numbness, and
helplessness can arise. Needless to say, it takes time to
absorb these changes. Along with a sense of abandonment and
sorrow, anger and struggle often replace the comfort and
strength an individual needs. Most have little
understanding of what they are going through, or what to
expect in the future.

Yet crisis means opportunity. This period can become a time
of growth and inspiration when handled properly. There are
many ways in which loss and change can be dealt with so
that an individual can benefit and grow as a result of it.
When the journey of loss and change is properly understood
and handled, much later grief and difficulty can also be
forestalled.

The Dynamics of Loss And Change

When change or loss comes into our lives we see that we are
not in control. Some have depended greatly upon a person,
job or situation and have not gotten in touch with their
own inner strength. Others have not paused to consider
where their true security lay. When familiar supports are
taken from them, they often have to re-evaluate their
entire lives.

Different Ways Of Reacting To Change and Loss

Each person reacts differently. These differences must be
respected. Some feel alone and abandoned. Others feel
cheated by life, angry and threatened. Some reach out for
love and comfort, others take time to be alone or withdraw.
For some the need arises to maintain stability at all
costs. They may go into denial and pretend that nothing
much has gone on. (These individuals are just doing their
best to maintain the semblance of normalcy). They do not f
eel ready to react as yet.

The way we respond at a crucial point in life is the result
of how we have lived our entire lives. Of course, sooner or
later, reactions do arise. Reality will set in. When an
individual feels more able to deal with their feelings,
the repressed feelings arise to the forefront. It is
important not to judge yourself or others for their way of
reacting. When the individual is accepted for who they are
at the moment, it is easier for them to let go, and move on.

Relating With Loss Directly

As time passes, it is important to allow oneself to
experience what happened directly. In order to do so there
is a fundamental assumption that must be questioned. It is
the idea that pain is terrible and must be avoided at all
costs. Instead, it is necessary to realize that pain is
natural and change is an inevitable part of life. Once we
stop fearing and fighting our feelings, once we learn to
listen to them closely, we find that the pain itself has a
meaning, it's there to be listened to.

As we become willing to experience our feelings as they
arise, not only do we grow stronger, but the pain is then
able to dissolve. We are then involved in the process of
acceptance, of making friends with all of life. In this way
we are actually healing and developing new strength.

Exercise: Do Not Resist Feelings

Feelings that are repressed indefinitely, come out later in
different ways, including various physical symptoms,
phobias and unwanted behaviors. If we do not address our
feelings in one mode, they will appear in another -
physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. It takes
courage and strength to face our situation directly, and
come to terms.

Do not try to control or resist feelings. They do not mean
that something is wrong with you. When they arise be gentle
with yourself, kind and patient. When these feelings are
not resisted, they pass more easily. Not only will you find
new comfort, but you will then become able to move forward,
start again and relate with all of life.

Survivor is one of the hottest shows on television today. Each
week, viewers tune in to see which contestant will be voted off
the island. Sometimes contestants are voted off because they're
too strong and may be a threat, but in many cases they're voted
off because they've done something to anger or annoy their tribe
mates. Too bad they don't have access to a phone or the
Internet. If they did, they could send their tribe mates
America's favorite apology gift-flowers!

Flowers are an exceptional way to acknowledge when you've made a
mistake. They allow you to break the ice and open the way for a
face-to-face apology when situations are tense. In a recent
survey, flowers received an enormous forty-nine percent of the
vote as the best apology gift, beating out even jewelry and
tickets to events. That's not too surprising, considering
they're also one of the gifts voted most likely to make you
smile.

In a study conducted at Rutgers University, the State University
of New Jersey, flowers were proven to have an enormous emotional
impact on those who receive them. Under the direction of
psychologist and internationally known expert in emotional
development in human behavior, Jeannette M. Haviland-Jones,
Ph.D., the study showed that those who received flowers
immediately felt happier than they had before receiving them.
And, the effect was shown to be long lasting. Flowers also made
the recipients more likely to connect with others.

Having all those wonderful abilities on top of their natural
beauty makes flowers a natural gift to send when you need to let
someone know how badly you feel about hurting them. And, you can
even personalize the gift by choosing the recipient's favorite
flowers or colors. A handwritten note of apology is also a
wonderful gesture. However, if you're unable to stop in at the
florist's to have the note included with the flowers, your
florist will be happy to dictate a note on a card he or she will
deliver along with the gift. In fact, your florist just might
have some ideas for helping you choose just the right message.

Sending flowers to someone you care about when the situation is
rocky can be a great way to get back into their good graces. So,
keep yourself on the island and continue to be a Survivor in your
relationships-pick up the phone and order some flowers to say,
"I'm sorry!"

Discover romance against the sparkling city skyline. Chicago, the
third largest city in the nation, is an exciting backdrop for a
truly memorable Valentine's weekend get-away.

A cultural explosion, this Illinois city lies on the massive
shore of Lake Michigan, offering the finest in soul, jazz, blues
and gospel music, mouth-watering deep-dish pizza, champion
sporting events and the city's famous Chicago hot dog.

Transportation is easy in the nation's hub, whether you arrive
by air, rail or auto. Quickly and cost-efficiently move from
Point-A to Point-B via Chicago's extensive metro, known locally
as The L. You can also make use of airport shuttles, city busses
or Chicago's historic and broad-reaching highway system.

When you visit, set aside a day to explore non-stop art
attractions and shopping in and around the business district. At
Armitage, you'll find prestigious shops and million-dollar
historical homes. Enjoy a more modern experience in the Wicker
Park and Bucktown neighborhoods, where you can grab a bite to eat
and order a drink at a local bar.

For a low, fixed price, Chicago's CityPass provides a steep
discount on, and front-of-the-line entrance to, five popular
tourist attractions including Adler Planetarium & Astronomy
Museum, Hancock Observatory, Field Museum, Museum of Science and
Industry, and Shedd Aquarium. Plus, don't forget the unbeatable
shopping opportunities that captivate you at Chicago's
Watertower Place, Michigan Avenue strip and Chicago Place where
you'll find Bloomingdales, Macy's Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue,
Lacoste, Movado, Tiffany's and countless one-of-a-kind boutique
shops.

For the true sports fan, this city is an unbeatable haven. In
2006, The Sporting News named Chicago, home of 16 professional
sports teams, the best sports city in the nation. Visitors can
plan to spend an action-packed day at Soldier Field, Wrigley
Field, US Cellular Field or United Center cheering on champion
teams like the Chicago Bulls, Cubs, Bears or White Sox or
Blackhawks. Chicago is also home to incredible indoor soccer,
hockey, lacrosse and rugby. Pick your event, book in advance and
experience the excitement. The day is guaranteed to be a winner.

For dinner, Chicago is renowned for it's eclectic dining choices
ranging from All-American to Korean, Italian and Mexican cuisine.
Whether you prefer a posh, upscale establishment or the trendy
Hard Rock Café, you'll find the hardest part is choosing just
one. Add icing to the cake by giving your sweet a devilish
fresh-baked cinnamon roll covered draped in sugary goodness from
Ann Sather or specialty pastries from some of the nation's most
incredible bakeries.

The evening is rich with shows and entertainment. Spend an
afternoon finding the ideal attire then leisurely enjoy a
delicious dinner. Then sit back and enjoy an night filled with
laughter and relaxation. Some options, requiring reservations,
include The Blue Man Group, an artistic multimedia performance,
or rotating shows at the Steppenwolf Theater, Goldman Theater,
Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Symphony Center. If you're in the
mood for something a bit more casual, visit B.L.U.E.S on Halsted
or Rosa's Lounge on Armitage, two unbeatable local blues bars,
The Hideout on Wabansia, an alternative folk and bluegrass bar,
The Velvet Lounge, offering an incredible jazz atmosphere, or
Green Mill on N. Broadway, former hangout for notorious gangster
Al Capone, presenting an intense weekly poetry slam and jazz
music.

The dance of the ballet is a dance is beautiful movements and
graceful flowing moves that beautifies the body. Ballet is a
dance that you cannot learn in a couple of months, it is a
graceful and beautiful dance with incredible moves, ballet takes
years to learn and many hours of practice. After ballet dancers
graduate from dance schools, the dancers will audition for dance
companies with the hope of performing on stage..

When looking at dance it is very structured in its movements,
dance is performed to a musical score and this enhances the
rhythm of the dance which enables you see the flowing physical
movements that is translated into happiness and the joy that
makes dance.

When dancing the ballet there are many unnatural moves but the
great dancers make the unnatural moves look very flowing and
natural. In France King Louis XIV founded the Royal Academy of
Dancing in 1661 to train dancers so they would perform in his
court.

There are no specific brands of shoes that schools require but
many encourage that girls wear pink and boys wear black or white
for ballet. Wear the proper clothes when dancing the ballet.
When choosing a shoe you could pick leather that is imitation
but they will wear out quickly it is best to purchase real
leather shoes. Be careful not to stick to the floor, if you
stick to the floor your ballet shoes will wear out faster than
normal, ballet shoes are meant to slide and if they stick you
could injure yourself. Ballet shoes wear out very quickly;
because of this fact many dancers purchase many pairs because
they go thru at least a dozen or more shoes each year. The sole,
strong yet flexible, helps younger dancers build strong feet.
Ballet shoes are designed in specific way to help movement;
ballet shoes structure helps dancers perform beautifully and the
design of the shoes makes it so the when the ballet dancer
dances it does not hurt their feet.

You need support for your feet while allowing access to all
your bones and muscles of your feet. The area covering the toes
and top of the foot is the vamp, while the opening nearest the
toes is the shoe's throat. The rear portion of the shoe that
encases the heel and sides of the foot is known as the quarter.
A dancer's experience, shape of the foot and strength should be
considered in finding the best shoe. How the bottom of the foot
contacts the floor is very important. When buying shoes you
should try them on first and take a couple of steps to make sure
the fit and are comfortable to wear.

Tights come in a variety of colors, with the most popular being
pink and black. Ballet tights are a standard part of the dress
code at ballet schools and in performances. Ballet tights are
tight-fitting leg coverings worn ballet performers.

When becoming a dancer most people do it for the dance and not
the money, the ballet pay is not usually very high, but there
are few dancers that practice and shine that do receive a
substantial income.

Your destiny will be greatly affected by how much energy and
care you put into everything that you do. Being very productive
in your days will reap many rewards over your lifetime. For
example, if you study hard and try to be an excellent student it
will give you skills that will be very useful in life,
possibilities for scholarships and further education, and
opportunities for better jobs. Putting care and attention into
your job can bring you promotion, more pay, and other job
opportunities. Working to make your home better than when you
purchased it will make it worth more and give you a more
enjoyable home. Making an effort to be a fair and kind person
and a good communicator will improve your relationships and make
them more rewarding.

Plan each day to include things you can look forward to and
rewards for getting your work done. This way you will be better
motivated to start your day and work well to finish. The object
should not be to work hard just so that you can work longer, but
to do good work so that you can enjoy doing your work, be
successful, and also enjoy having time off. Balancing working
efficiently with time off to restore yourself is the best
combination for success.

When you find your energy slowing in your workday, take a few
minutes to re-energize. Some people find that five minutes of
exercise will renew energy and make you feel more alert. You
could walk outside to clear your mind, or do jumping jacks or
jump rope indoors to raise your metabolism. Deep breathing
exercises, yoga, or stretching may also help. Getting your body
moving after it has been sitting for some time can help you to
feel more alert, as can switching between tasks, or changing
your location.

Set goals for your day, your week, and your month for your job
and personal life. This will help you to stay focused on what is
most important and not get distracted with less important
activities. Then, also designate time in each day for play,
socializing, or doing nothing. These hours of enjoyment are
necessary, too.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
The day had started great: a hearty and healthy breakfast at
the Lunenburg Inn was excellent preparation for a full day of
discovery. During the bright and sunny morning I headed out and
went on a walking tour through Lunenburg, a quaint and scenic
town on Nova Scotia's southern coast whose unique architectural
heritage has garnered it the coveted UNESCO World Heritage Site
designation. I capped off my local explorations with a visit to
the famous Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, a renowned museum
that celebrates the maritime heritage of Nova Scotia.

I had big plans for today: a scenic drive along the Lighthouse
Trail through scenic communities such as Mahone Bay and Peggy's
Cove to my final destination for today: Halifax, Nova Scotia's
capital. But before saying goodbye to this charming town I
wanted to find out a little bit more about the hospitality
entrepreneurs running the Lunenburg Inn. I am always interested
in the people behind the destinations, because the people are
really the key factor in any hospitality experience.

So with my suitcase packed and stashed safely in the car, I sat
down with Don and Gail Wallace, owners of the Lunenburg Inn, to
find out more about their personal story. Don started off by
telling me that he had spent 33 years with a Toronto-based
company in the warehousing and transportation business, holding
the title of Vice President towards the end of his tenure. He
felt it was time to make a significant change in his life, so he
and Gail sat down to discuss what options they might have. They
talked about downsizing their house and looking at a second
career that they could start together. They also wanted to
relocate away from the Toronto area and find a place where they
would be able to retire. So they started looking further afield.

One day in February of 1995 they noticed an advertisement in
the Financial Post for a place called the "Lunenburg Inn". This
struck a chord because both of them had been dreaming of
retiring near the ocean. So Don picked up the phone and got in
touch with the real estate broker. On a Sunday morning in
February he flew to Halifax and fell in love with Nova Scotia's
South Shore. Don adds that Lunenburg was not as pretty as it is
today, but even then he recognized the potential of this town.
He really liked the property a lot, although it would need a lot
of work. So he phoned Gail to share his positive impressions and
suggested that they both travel to Lunenburg the following
weekend to see the inn. All the necessary professional contacts
were initiated: the mortgage officer at the bank, the building
inspector, the real estate agent and the lawyer who would handle
the transaction. Don and his wife talked the idea over with
their grown-up children. The following Sunday afternoon there
was a meeting with the building inspector, after which Don
prepared the offer. On Monday morning the mortgage was approved
and shortly after lunch Don handed the realtor a cheque as the
downpayment for their retirement plan: the Lunenburg Inn.
Shortly after his arrival back in Toronto he received a call
from his realtor that they would now be the proud owners of an
inn as of May 1, 1995.

Ironically, the day that this real estate transaction was
completed Don had to go on a business trip to Vancouver, and he
and his colleague went out after work and celebrated with a
bottle of wine. It was not until months later that his coworker
found out that Don had a real reason to celebrate on this very
day: the beginning of his second career.

Back in Toronto Don wrote a letter of resignation to his
company's president who was very surprised since he and most
people in the company had assumed that Don was a "lifer", i.e.
that he would spend the rest of his working life at this
company. Don gave 6 months notice and would leave his position
as Vice-President by the end of August. This gave the couple
sufficient time to organize garage sales to get rid of unwanted
furniture in Toronto. On April 28 their van left at 5 am, packed
up their goods and arrived in Lunenburg on April 30. Don had
booked two weeks of vacation and his son came along to spend his
summer in Lunenburg – a perfect arrangement since Don still had
to wrap up his last few months with his company in Toronto.

So from May onwards Gail and their son Drew started to operate
the bed and breakfast. Their daughter came to join them in July,
she had just finished her last year of high school and was
starting a degree at Wilfred Laurier University in September.
Don was able to leave his position early since by the end of
July a replacement had been hired. So on August 1 the entire
family was united in Lunenburg.

The Lunenburg Inn was furnished when Don and Gail purchased it
but the owners had taken personal pieces that had been used in
the inn. The living room was very sparse and some rooms were
missing chairs and tables. So for the first few weeks, Gail and
her son Drew embarked on a nightly routine of furniture moving:
they needed to provide a full compliment to those rooms rented
for the night with the remaining furniture decorating the living
room for that night. That meant that furniture pieces
continuously had to be moved around from one room to another.
They had decided to leave their Toronto-area house furnished
while Don still lived there and to improve the chances of
selling it. It was sold only in late July (with a mid-August
closing) and Don had the moving company pack everything up in
the last week of July. The furniture arrived in Lunenburg in
mid-August and after its arrival they finally had a fully
furnished living room without the nightly furniture move.

The Lunenburg Inn had been an abandoned building, so it needed
a lot of work. From 1924 to 1979 it had been the "Hillside
Hotel", a 13-room hotel (with one bathroom!) next to the town's
train station. In the meantime the train service to Lunenburg
has been discontinued for many years. The property was abandoned
for a number of weeks just prior to being purchased by the
previous owners in 1988. When Don and Gail purchased the
property in 1995 the building was very tired and in need of a
complete redecoration and upgrading, including furnishings, to
bring it up to a 4 1/2 star property.

During their first winter of 1995 Gail stripped every piece of
furniture and diligently refinished it. All the couches and
armchairs were re-upholstered. Don himself learned how to fix
the plasterwork in this historic building, and in the dining
room the couple removed nine layers of wallpaper and four layers
of paint, all accumulated over the years since the building's
construction in 1893. Carpets were torn out and replaced, floors
were refinished. So far in the last 11 years, all the rooms have
been redecorated at least three times. Don feels very strongly
that a bed and breakfast should never look tired. His goal was
to make the Lunenburg Inn a warm, comfortable place with upscale
features.

Now the Lunenburg Inn is in its 12th season and it is still
holding up well. Don and Gail meanwhile are ready to start their
real retirement. Don informed me that about 40% of bed and
breakfast owners do not reopen after their third season, another
40% of B&B owners discontinue their business after 6 years. Only
5% of B&B owners make it to the 10-year mark. Don adds that
running the Lunenburg Inn was "his second and final career", and
he and Gail had committed to 10 years. Now 11 years later, they
are ready to move on into a well-deserved retirement.

But this industrious couple did not stop at being B&B owners:
from 1997 to late 2002 they also owned an M&M Meat Shop
franchise which meant that Gail managed the retail operation
while Don together with some hired help ran the bed and
breakfast. Gail would be at the store every day from 9 am to 6
pm, and Don would handle the ordering and the accounting for the
meat shop in addition to his duties at the inn.

Today, the couple is focusing on the Lunenburg Inn only. Their
day starts at 6 am when fresh muffins are baked for up to 19
breakfast guests. Guests can come to breakfast whenever it suits
their schedule. Don and Gail put a lot of effort into preparing
a healthy, filling and attractively prepared breakfast that
always includes a lot of fresh fruit. They work with a 7-day
rotation for the breakfast so none of the guests will get bored
of having the same dishes served twice in a row.

Breakfast takes place form 8 to 9:30 am and a helper in the
kitchen handles the plate layout, coffee and toast. Two
housekeepers help with the maintenance and cleaning chores, and
all the laundry for the inn is handled in-house. The Lunenburg
Inn opens from the beginning of May until late October. Don and
Gail have made a commitment that one of them will always sleep
in the house when the B&B is in operation. The guests may always
have potential needs, and it is important to have a competent
contact person on site.

Don and Gail are proud of the fact that the Lunenburg Inn was
the first 4.5 star property in Lunenburg, a property that
combines the "warmth of home" with Victorian charm. 75% of their
business stems from repeat customers and referrals, evidence of
their commitment to an outstanding hospitality experience.

Personally, they live in a separate private apartment on the
lower level of the inn, and during the winter season they like
to spend time with their children and go to South Carolina for a
couple of weeks. There is always stuff to be done around the
inn, and winter is the perfect time for redecorating or
upgrades. Don also likes to go curling about four to five
mornings in the week during the winter.

The Lunenburg Inn is currently listed for sale. Neither Don nor
Gail are in a rush to sell the property, and they realize that
it is going to take a special buyer who is going to be
interested in running this inn. Sometimes it could take as much
as three to five years to sell a property like this. Don and
Gail indicated that once the inn sells, they will stay in
Lunenburg, and buy a simple family home. They enjoy the weather
here: summers are less hot and humid than in Ontario, and there
is less snow and rain. Gail adds that during the first four
years in Lunenburg she did not even need winter boots. And falls
are simply gorgeous in this quaint community.

I realized that here was a couple who had made some very
strategic, well thought-out decisions about their retirement.
They knew exactly where they were going and what their next step
was going to be. Few of us are so lucky as to have such a clear
idea of where life is going to take us. With these thoughts in
mind I thanked Don and Gail for their warm hospitality, and set
off to continue my journey along the Lighthouse Trail to
Halifax.

D-Ribose is a simple five-carbon sugar that has been shown to
delay the progression of congestive heart failure in many people
who have had a heart attack at some point in the past.
Congestive heart failure is a condition that can occur as a
result of any structural or functional cardiac disorder which
impairs the ability of the heart to fill with and pump a
sufficient amount of blood throughout the body. Since not all
patients experience volume overload at the initial evaluation,
this disease is most commonly referred to as heart failure,
rather than congestive heart failure. This disease is often
under-diagnosed because of a universally agreed upon definition
does not exist and there are difficulties with diagnosis,
especially in those with a mild condition. Even with the best
care and therapy, heart failure has an associated mortality rate
of ten percent and is the leading cause of hospitalization in
people above the age of sixty-five.

Many studies have been done and presented at the Second Annual
Academic Surgical Congress, which is sponsored by the
Association for Academic Surgery and Society of University
Surgeons. Heart attacks often lead to the progressive onset of
congestive heart failure. After a heart attack, the portion of
the heart that hasn't been damaged must work harder to
compensate for the functional loss of the tissue that is
damaged. The heart will eventually begin to fail, causing the
chambers of the heart to enlarge and waken, which in turn causes
the heart to lose its ability to pump blood effectively.

A study, which was conducted by the University of Minnesota,
led by Dr. John Foker and his team, determined that
administering D-Ribose will significantly improve heart function
after a heart attack. The study also showed that the progression
of heart failure after a heart attack begins with the fall of
energy levels. D-Ribose is very unique, it serves as a
foundation for many important compounds such as DNA, RNA, and
ATP (the energy of cells). ATP is very important to health and
for maintaining normal energy-dependent body functions. Hearts
that are stressed, muscles, and other tissue lack the metabolic
machinery that is needed to quickly make D-Ribose and overcome
progressive energy depletion. D-Ribose has been shown to
significantly increase energy formation in those tissues that
are stressed. The energy level of the heart tissue that is not
damaged by the heart attack is in control of the beginning
events of heart failure. When ATP starts to decrease, function
will worsen, which sets the progression of chronic cardiac
failure in motion. Supplementing with D-Ribose is known to
increase energy in stressed hearts, which slows the progression
of heart failure and in some cases even prevents it altogether.
Although the study is in its early stages of investigation, Dr.
Foker is positive about the results. By treating hearts with
D-Ribose, ATP concentration of the heart can be improved and
loss of energy can be prevented, which is known to be the major
contributor to this disease's progression.

similar supplements can be found.

One of the more challenging aspects of learning how to attract
prosperity is the ability to "know" you're prosperous - even
when you don't yet feel like you are!

When your outer circumstances keep reflecting the illusion of
lack, it's easy to get frustrated because you think your
attraction attempts aren't working. However, that very
frustration is what will keep you locked into the cycle of lack!

In order to break out of the illusion of lack, you have to use
the power of your will to diminish the energy you have invested
in it previously. How do you invest energy into the creation of
lack?

- By constantly thinking about it and focusing on it.

- By constantly affirming that it exists in your life.

- By complaining about it to others.

- By identifying with the lack you see in the world around you.

The more attention and energy you give to the existence of
lack, the more lack you attract back to yourself.

The good news is that you can also use this same process to
attract abundance and prosperity into your life, except you
focus on the opposite end of the spectrum!

- Constantly think about and focus on abundance and prosperity.
However, NOT from a place of need, fear or anxiety - but from a
place of joy, confidence and optimism that it is already yours.

- Constantly affirm that you are a natural prosperity magnet,
and great abundance flows into your life easily and frequently.

- Share the wonderful things that happen to you with others.
Rather than complaining about the bad stuff, share the good
stuff and encourage the people in your life to do the same.

- Pay attention to the great abundance that surrounds you at
all times. This includes the material possessions, people and
blessings you have in your life, but also the expressions of
abundance you encounter while out in the world. Rather than
feeling envious of rich and successful people, imagine that the
universe has just held up a mirror to let you know that YOU can
also be just as rich and successful.

Most importantly, develop the inner "knowing" that you can
CHOOSE prosperity and abundance, just as easily as you chose
lack and struggle.

You may not believe that you've chosen lack and struggle (who
in their right minds would?) - but it's very possible to choose
by default. Unless you consciously choose to be prosperous, it's
like sitting in the back seat of your car and expecting it to
deliver you to your desired destination. You actually have to
get behind the wheel and DRIVE! :-)

Try reciting this affirmation several times a day:

"I KNOW I am a powerful creator in my own right, and I CHOOSE
the harmonious flow of prosperity and abundance NOW."

When you first start saying it, you'll probably feel like
you're lying. That's because deep down inside, you really don't
"know" any such thing. But keep at it. Keep saying the
affirmation with strength and power and conviction in your
voice, and you really will start to believe it.

And that's when everything in your outer circumstances will
begin to shift toward the prosperity and abundance you "know"
you deserve.

The Lies Anger Tells Us
Anger tells us many lies. One common lie is that once we
are angry, there is little we can do to stop feeling that
way, we must act it out. Like a person overcome by alcohol
when we become drunk with anger we feel as though it has us
in its grip. Nothing can be further from the truth. We
always have a choice about how to handle the feelings that
arise. One by one we will now turn around some of the lies
anger tells and gain true control.

Anger Is A Choice We Make

Believe it or not, anger is a choice we make. We feel
justified in being angry, and this justification stokes the
flames and keeps the problems alive. Once this
justification sets in, we basically choose to hold onto our
anger until we can get revenge.

Now, here is a lie anger tells frequently. It leads us to
believe that revenge is sweet and once we get it, we'll
feel good and things will be in harmony. Actually the
opposite happens. Revenge does not hurt the person we are
angry with. Our wish for revenge, our rage, lives inside us
and poisons our own lives in many ways.

Dr. Deepak Chopra has said "The most common and direct
cause of illness is anger." It is toxic for us and this
toxin spreads to all aspects of our body and minds. Some of
the effects of this wish for revenge include illness, high
blood pressure, heart attacks, aging, lack of love,
continual irritation and is the fuel for the number one
illness in our nation depression.

In order to choose out of anger, in order to take specific
steps that will stop anger on the spot we must first truly
realize the terrible toll anger takes upon us. Rather than
feel we have a right to be angry, that revenge is sweet or
that our anger is making us powerful and strong, we must
face the fact that this anger we are harboring is
destroying our own happiness, health, clarity, peace,
relationships, creativity, happiness and overall well
being. The best gift you can give yourself is to let go of
anger, one kind each day.

Another lie anger tells is that when you are angry you are
filled with power and strength. However, the rush an
individual gets from anger is counterfeit, a substitute for
real strength. After the anger passes, and the consequences
of the anger set in, the person usually feels weak and
depleted. Often there is considerable regret for words
spoken or action taken rashly.

Real strength includes the ability to refuse the false rush
anger brings us, to have the power to see the entire
situation for what it really is and respond with clarity
and compassion. This is seldom an outcome that anger
brings. It is the anger itself that keeps a person out of
control. It clouds their judgments, creates enemies where
friends used to be, and generally keeps the person who
holds it in a prison without bars.

Another lie anger tells is that the angry person is
definitely right and everyone else is wrong. A false sense
of decisiveness is created. It becomes easier to take
action (though the action is almost always off base). When
anger subsides a person can see the larger picture and has
available many ways of handling a situation that they do
not have when under they are filled with rage.
Suspiciousness and paranoia, which arise during, anger, and
may well be unfounded, recede.

ROMM - The Basics of Search Engine Optimization
By Sharon Housley

The formula for webmasters looking for success with the search engines is ROMM (Research, Optimize, Monitor, and Maintain). Here are some helpful tips and details about each portion of the ROMM concept...

Research

Before you even begin your website design, give thought to the navigation, structure, graphic design, and formatting of the URLs. Webmasters should not only have experience as a graphic artist, but should also be well versed in Search Engine Optimization. SEO should not be an afterthought! Websites that are designed with SEO in mind will have more success in ranking well in the search engines.

The link depth in a website should really not exceed 3-4 levels. Any links that are deeper than that (requiring more than 5 clicks from the original domain) will be more difficult, if not impossible, for search engines to crawl.

Design the navigation so that it is intuitive to the user, and will lead them through the website. Use a navigation structure that will allow the website to expand as the content is added. Once you have the general website architecture worked out, determine how often and where new content will be added to the website.

The color scheme of the website should be designed in such a way that valuable content or keywords are not hidden or obscured from the viewer.

Optimize

Always keep in mind that each and every page on a website should have a unique page-specific title and description. The webpage title and description should always relate to the content of the page. Webmasters should make every effort to create continuity between a web landing page and the keyword or keyword phrase that the page is trying to emphasize.

If there are keywords or headings on the webpage that require specific emphasis, use "header" tags to emphasize the words.

Each page should have a different focus, and contain unique content. Redundant content, with only minor changes to emphasize specific keywords, are frowned upon by search engines.

Webmasters are encouraged to use image "alt tags" to describe the image or link that the image refers to. Keywords should be used judiciously.

When formatting URLs, use hyphens rather than underscores. Use related keywords and hyphenated keyword phrases to name sub-pages on a website. In other words, a page containing this article might be named "mydomain.com/basic-seo.htm".

Try to avoid excessively long URLs. If the webpages within a website are being dynamically created, avoid using "ID=" in the URL, as many search engines will not spider the pages -- they will often assume that the 'ID=' refers to a session ID and does not refer to unique content.

Monitor

After launching a website, it is important to evaluate the status of the site in the various search engines. Keep in mind that major search engines will often delay ranking a new website until the search engine deems the website "trustworthy". Build links to the website and monitor the site's progress in major search engines for critical keywords and phrases.

Take a look at the web logs to determine the popularity of pages within a website. Review the website logs on a regular basis to determine any trends.

Maintain

Maintain the website by optimizing webpages that are not performing well, and by adding new content on a regular basis. Websites should be constantly expanding, and should be updated regularly.

If the new content is something you wish to have spidered quickly, be sure to add it to a web page that is already spidered on a regular basis.

Successful websites require constant monitoring, maintenance and optimization.

Britney Spears Could Improve Her Home With Flowers
Copyright (c) 2006-2008 Wesley Berry, AAF
Wesley Berry Flowers
http://www.800wesleys.com/

Pop icon Britney Spears has been under public scrutiny lately for
both her parenting style and her possibly unhappy home-life with
husband Kevin Federline. Reports indicate that Spears is working
hard to make her life more normal and her house more of a home.
If that's the case, Ms. Spears could make good use of flowers
provided by her local florist to add beauty and class to her
home, regardless of her decorating style. And, flowers for home
decorating purposes aren't limited to the rich and famous; you
can use them to beautify your home as well.

Flowers have become one of the biggest trends in home decorating
today. And, because there are so many varieties available, they
can fit into any decorating style, from the classic to the
contemporary. Even better, you don't have to hire an interior
decorator to add a splash of color to your home. Instead, pick up
your phone and call your florist or, better yet, stop in to
discuss your needs.

When you stop in to personally discuss your needs with your
florist, your florist is better able to get to know you and
develop a feel for your personal style. Your home is an extension
of your personality, and you want flowers that you'll enjoy and
that fit right into your home. When you visit your florist, you
might even want to bring along a few pictures of the places where
you'd like to use flowers so that he or she can design
arrangements specific to those spaces. Your florist may even
allow you to set up an automatic delivery so that you'll receive
fresh flowers weekly, or at an interval that works for you.

Your florist will work with you to create floral arrangements
that complement any of the styles that are popular today. Some of
those styles are:

* Classic Traditional: Classic traditional homes are those with
formal architecture and elaborate, impressive front doors. They
often have foyers and the rooms are decorated individually. For
this style, flower arrangements include a mixture of many
different flowers and use accents like dried fruits and foliage.
They may be placed in containers of crystal, brass, silver, or
porcelain.

* Modern Contemporary: The modern contemporary home is
characterized by a chic feel with clean lines and smooth
surfaces. Flowers for this home might include bold, bright colors
with exotic blooms. The lines of the designs will be strong to
compliment the lines of the house. They might be contained in
frosted glass vases, decorative pottery, or metallic containers.

* Victorian: Victorian homes have a soft and romantic feel.
Flowers here would include pastel colors and fragrant blooms.
They may be placed in glass, crystal, or silver vases.

* Casual Easy Living: The casual household enjoys the simple
pleasures. They often use natural woods and linen fabrics
designed for a peaceful, stress-free feeling. A combination of
fresh flowers, flowering plants, and green plants works well
here.

* American Country: American country homes incorporate many
antique items from the past, such as quilts, wooden crates, and
galvanized metal bowls. Cut flowers make an excellent addition to
the comfortable and inviting environment of these homes.

If Britney Spears is looking to make her house more of a home,
adding flowers and green plants will go a long way toward making
her home comfortable and inviting for her family and her
guests-and you can follow this great trend, too.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Linear-thinking parents have a difficult time relating to the
issues associated with their child's ADD, and until their child
is diagnosed with attention deficit, they may not be aware of
ways in which they can change their parenting techniques and
make life better for their children and themselves. Parents who
also have attention deficit and have learned some coping
strategies can pass them along to their children, but some
adults were never diagnosed ADD at all. Whatever situation
you're in, these 5 steps will help you and your child to be
happier:

1) Avoid complication: When you send your child to get
something, don't ask for a knife, a fork, and a plate, because
he or she will probably come to you with one or two of the
three. Instead, send him or her for one thing at a time.

2) Come up with a cool game: Make this a family-oriented game
that rewards you for behaviors that are positive, like taking
one's turn in order, and takes points away for stepping out of a
line or yelling out answers when it's not your turn.

3) Make kids' teachers your friends: Schedule a time to sit
down with your kids' teachers. Make them aware of your child's
attention deficit issues and ask if you can have a list showing
when assignments are due, when quizzes or tests are on the
horizon, and anything else important to the class. Then, help
your kids to remember these dates and get their work in on time.

4) Give them a place to chill: Especially in grade school, kids
can be brutal, and kids with attention deficit suffer. If they
don't have a room of their own, set aside some part of your home
for them to unwind in. Make is as friendly to them as possible.

5) Make them a success: Study your children and decide what
delights them, where their talents lay, and what they can really
do well. Then, promote that activity and reward them lavishly
with praise when you see them progressing.

These 5 simple tips can make your life and your child's life a
bit easier. The key to making things work, whatever the
ADD-friendly tactic might be, is consistency. When you develop a
program like one of these, do it all the time, every time, and
you'll see that it will slowly work. Don't give up after a day
or two. Behavioral changes don't happen overnight. If you're a
parent of an ADD child or you're an adult with attention
deficit, join us to learn more coping mechanisms at Instant ADD

================== ARTICLE START ==================
The iphone is an awesome expansion in the ability for
individuals to communicate. While some may dismiss the advent of
the iphone as a common electronics leisure item designed to
appeal to those with a need for high tech `toys', the reality of
the matter is that the expansion of any form of communicative
device has great potential beyond mere leisure and can
contribute greatly to the infrastructure of the economic
stability of a nation.

Now, this may seem on the surface to be a bold statement, but
in reality it is a somewhat reserved statement considering the
fact that all we need to due is look at human history to see how
tremendous the impact of the advent of communications devices.
In the 1860's, people learned of the Lincoln/Douglas debates by
their reprinting of their words in newspapers. Now, what is more
effective – reprinting speeches in a newspaper or watching the
speeches unfold on television.

Then again, look at television for that matter. Once considered
an obscene leisure item that offered little value, television is
now the primary means (for better or for worse) in which people
receive their news and information. The advent and expansion of
any form of communicative device can have a huge impact. When a
device such as the iphone comes along and dramatically combines
separate (and formerly bulky) communications devices into one
package, the impact can not be anything less that wildly
dramatic.

A business needs to move quickly in order to maximize its
profit potential. In other words, anything that contributes to
lag time or a slowing down of the ability of a business to move
about its, well, business keeps the business from driving its
resources towards where it will generate maximum income.

For example, relying on receiving snail mail letters for
important requested information is far, far less than desirable
than email because the wait time on reception of a letter can be
three days while a email is delivered in split seconds. There is
not comparison between the two. With snail mail, up to three
days of productivity can be lost. With the iphone and its
resultant impact, the ability to speed up productivity is
significantly magnified. As such, the impact of the iphone on
business can never be underestimated and in a short amount of
time the massive positive effects of it on businesses will
clearly become self apparent. In that regard, the iphone clearly
endorses it self quite well in terms of stimulating purchasing
interest.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Before you hire any contractor there are several questions that
you will want to ask. After all, they are going to be performing
work on your home so you want to make sure that you know what
you are getting. Plus, when you ask questions you will have a
much better chance of unearthing any information that may sway
your decision. But of course, you need to know what questions
are most important.

Here are three questions that you should ask a contractor
before hiring them to work for you.

1. What are your qualifications? This may seem like a general
question, but it is one that you need to ask. As you can
imagine, you will want to hire a contractor that has worked on
projects like yours in the past. This will help to ensure that
the job gets done the way it should be.

2. To go along with question number one, you should ask if they
can supply you with any references. Why do this, you may ask?
Simply put, when you get references you can talk to other people
who have worked with the contractor in the past. This is not
going to ensure your satisfaction, but it can go a long way in
helping to do so. When talking to references make sure that you
ask any and every question that is on your mind. Remember, the
contractor would never have given you their name if they did not
want you to ask them questions.

3. What are you going to charge me for the job? This is a
question that seems like a no brainer, but unfortunately, it is
one that is forgotten time and time again. Although it can be
hard for a contractor to give an exact price on some projects,
they can at least give you a quote that is close. Obviously, it
is important to know what you are going to pay before you hire a
contractor. If one contractor is quoting you too high of a
price, you can mark them off your list and move onto another.

When you address these three questions you will be much better
off when hiring a contractor. Most contractors expect to hear
these questions, and will not have any problems giving you open
and honest answers.

Article Title: How Is Online Video Changing The Entertainment
Industry And Our Culture?
Author: Gabriel Adams

================== ARTICLE START ==================
It's not news that the conventional entertainment industry is
in trouble; there is falling viewership for prime time TV and
people are just not as interested in what the local newspaper
has to tell about world events as they used to be. The reason
probably is access to the powerful tool called the internet.
While the internet challenged through the vast knowledgebase it
provided, now it challenges through visual entertainment as
well. Of all the segments of the World Wide Web, the online
video industry is one of the fastest growing forms of
entertainment as well as marketing.

The organized entertainment industry of our time now faces new
challenges everyday from the rapidly growing online video
networks. Not only are these networks run by the organized
industries of yesteryears that have realized the new trend and
adjusted, social networks like YouTube and Yahoo's Video sharing
are the order of the day.

Social networks like MySpace and Facebook are throwing up
videos from unknown bands that are making it big without
actually spending the hundreds of dollars our music `stars'
spend on their videos. Those who are going along with the trend
are not only growing in numbers but also in popularity since its
no longer a matter of going out to buy a record, its about a few
clicks and the video is yours to watch.

Surely the internet has its own culture, people from all around
the world meet and talk here, the culture is a mix of who holds
on to his values firmly or who impresses a value upon the other,
but how are online videos changing our overall attitude? There
is a huge web of video sharing and peer to peer sharing over the
internet that is challenging the copyrights protected industry.
Google, and YouTube via Google, are facing a lawsuit that would
perhaps set the trend for what is, and what is not, legally
acceptable with social networks sharing videos from copyrights
protected mediums.

Similarly, not so long back Digg faced the power of the social
networks when they decided to cover up the HD-DVD encryption
keys their loyal visitors were sharing to prevent copyright
infringements. The move gave them a demo of the people's power
within their own social network when there was a huge outcry by
the users. They learned that you either go along with what your
viewership wants or they switch to another base…yup, we are
spoiled for choice! Consequently, Digg announced it would go
down fighting if its fan base wanted that…they are back to
sharing HD-DVD keys and the drama continues with challenge
thrown up to those that have creative rights to their content.

Also, there is the change in our general manner of taking
input. While we can assert that the value of `text' has not, and
will not, go down the change in our reading habits from reading
to scanning text has already taken place. We no longer have the
patience for long drawn out arguments; we'd rather click and be
off to the next web destination if the argument gets to be
tedious. The same is a huge power in the hands of the people
now, the online video industry asserts with the quick ads and
swift entertainment the impact visuals can make. Not only is the
entertainment industry feeling the sting of this power in the
hands of the individual, the advertising industry, travel
industry and even real estate agents are now converting to the
use of visual clips with their text marketing. The area is vast,
ready for exploration and new developments. And with the cheap
digital video cameras available and cell-phones galore, the
online video industry is going to give the traditionalists a run
for their money.

While all looks good, it certainly isn't that rosy. The impact
video industry is making is one that is thrilling to watch but
you do not want to become a part of it at the wrong moment. Be
sure to watch out for the mobile phones around you, protect
yourself from videos you do not want to see of yourself, or
would not be comfortable showing friends, family or your
current/future spouse. One man's hilarious joke can be an
embarrassment for another, and easier still, it's available for
all to view at a click!

Here are some rules for letting your dog know who the boss is
(or should be).

We all know people who are great at training their dogs and
sometimes even their cats, but good advice is sometimes hard to

come by.

I have put this together to show you that training a dog is fun
and quite simple as well. Take your time and don't think

because this is simple advice it is not relevant because it is.

Don't be too hard on your dog tho as he is your best friend
too.

1. Set some rules immediately and stick to them.

2. Keep out of situations that promote inappropriate behavior.

3. Always observe your dog and provide what it needs to be
cared for and attended to.

4. Supervise your dog diligently through undivided individual
attention and training, and restrict them to a limited area of
the house until training is complete.

5. Encourage good behavior with praise and attention always.

6. Correct bad behaviors instantly by providing positive
alternatives. (A toy for a slipper, scratching post for the
sofa.)

7. Never physically punish or force compliance to commands.
This is always bad and may lead to fear biting or aggression.

8. Don't play rough or encourage aggression or play at biting.

9. Expose your dog to many people, animals, and environments
where you want them to live.

10. See your veterinarian if a serious or unresolved behavior
problems persist.

These rules will help you get the most from your dog as quickly
as possible.

Above all love your dog and he/she will love you back. Bad
behavior can sometimes be stopped just as it begins but you need

to be hard but fair. Dog training classes may be the answer if
your dog is getting out of hand.

Ask people who have trained dogs before for their help and
advice. It might be a good idea to go to dog forums on the

internet as well. Lots of dog articles and advice can be had
there too.

Whatever you decide good luck in training your dog or dogs.
