Yoga clothing does not need to be a fashion statement although
many who practice yoga like to wear fashionable yoga clothing to
their classes. Other people do their yoga at home so their
clothing for a yoga session is not seen by anyone including the
instructor who is usually on a television screen.

Yoga is a series of poses or asanas that come from a practice
started in ancient times by members of the Hindu religion. These
yoga positions are designed to stretch the body for maximum
flexibility and serenity. The yoga clothing should be designed
to help each student execute the poses.

Yoga clothing needs to provide for the stretching that takes
place in each yoga pose. These poses are often executed on a
special yoga mat on the floor. Other poses are standing
positions. The clothing for a yoga session should be soft and
cover most of the body that will come into contact with the yoga
mat. The clothing should cover most parts of the body except the
feet which are almost always bare. The yoga clothing usually
covers the legs completely. The shoulders and neck are sometimes
left bare with some appropriate yoga clothing.

Yoga Clothing Is Available At Sporting Goods Outlets

Special yoga clothing is available at the sporting goods stores
and in the sportswear section of department stores. There are
several outlets that provide yoga clothing on the internet. The
clothing for a yoga session usually includes some soft pants
that go from the waist down to the ankles. The pants are loose
fitting so each person can execute the stretching postures with
ease. The pants should never be tight and restricting to flowing
movement of the entire body. The pants are often made of soft
spandex and other synthetics. Other pants are made of soft
cotton or rayon blends.

Yoga clothing should include tops that allow for the freedom of
movement. The sleeves on these tops come in various lengths.
Each yoga person should make their choices based on their
personal preferences. The tops should come in the soft fabrics
like the pants.

When buying tops for yoga practice, each person should make
sure that the top will not rub any body part when stretching in
the yoga poses. Beautiful jackets are available in the lines of
most providers. These jackets should be taken to each class to
make sure that the muscles are not chilled before or after the
session.

Do You Have What It Takes to Start Your Own Freelance Writing Business?
If you had told me five years ago that I would walk away
from my day job to start my own writing business, I would
have told you that you were crazy. Although my career in
the insurance industry wasn't particularly fulfilling, I
was successful, made a good living and enjoyed the perks of
corporate life. It was stable, steady and comfortable.
Little did I know that within a year of an ill-timed career
change and a move across the country, I would find myself
without a job. Due to the lack of his own success, my boss
of nine months laid me off. It was time to start over. As a
single mom, I was scared. What was I going to do? How would
I take care of my daughter?

Initially, I panicked but after a few weeks of
brainstorming and the semi-security of an unemployment
check, I searched for work in my field. I found I was
overqualified for many jobs and underqualified for others.
My skills didn't seem to fit in this new market. Not giving
up, I found a flexible part-time job and decided to expand
my freelance writing which I had started the year before.
Armed with a few clips, a website and some business cards,
I added a few more publications to my résumé.
Within a year and a half, my business offered me a viable,
full-time income. That was four years ago, and I'm still
going strong.

My point here is not to bore you with the details of my
life, but to assure you that if someone as conservative
(read: afraid of risk) as me can make it as a writer, then
you can too. Interested? Intrigued? Then review the list
below to see if you have what it takes to start your own
freelance writing business.

Knowledge and skills. Being a freelance writer requires
more than a passion for writing. It requires education and
training; good communication skills; knowledge of proper
spelling, grammar and punctuation rules; editing and
proofreading skills; the ability and patience to research;
published clips; and business training or know-how.

Resources. Every job requires tools of the trade. As a
freelance writer, you'll need dedicated office space, a
computer (laptop or desktop), relevant software (MS Office
Suite, Adobe Acrobat, etc.), computer back-up system,
office phone/cell phone, printer/fax/scanner, a high-speed
Internet connection, access to reference materials
(dictionary, thesaurus, Chicago Manual of Style, etc.), and
a digital voice recorder. You may find that you require
other resources as well, but this list is a "must have" to
get started.

Personality. Making a full-time income as a freelancer
requires more than writing talent. It also requires that
you be organized, self-disciplined, self-motivated,
resourceful, creative, patient, persistent and focused.

Plan B. Before you make the leap to owning a freelance
writing business, consider how you are going to pay your
bills and meet expenses when work is slow. Do you have
other income sources to tap? Do you have a part-time job or
does your spouse make enough to cover the bills during slow
times? Perhaps you have unemployment income, savings or
maybe even a trust fund? If not, consider this. If you had
to, would you get a job (part or full-time) to make ends
meet? The point is not to be discouraged. It is simply to
have a Plan B in place, so your life doesn't fall apart
while you pursue your dream.

If you have all of these items—appropriate knowledge
and skills, resources, personality and a solid Plan
B—then you are well on your way to starting your own
freelance writing business!

Got Knitting Questions? I Have Answers!
One of the things I love about knitting is that there is
always something new to know about! So much information is
out there, in magazines, knitting books, websites; it can
become confusing very quickly if you don't know just what
is basic to your knitting needs.

After all, do you really need to know what brand of lighted
knitting needles to purchase or which brand of silk yarn
will knit up best with that advanced pattern you found,
when you still want not-so-advanced information?

In this article, I've searched my files for the best basics
for knitters! When you have this knowledge, so much of the
rest will begin to make better sense.

Knitting Needle basics. There are the straight needles we
all know and use, but what do you do with double-pointed &
circular needles? Double pointed needles come in sets of
four or five and are used to make items such as mittens,
socks, and other round pieces. Circular needles are used
when casting on a large number of stitches, i.e. 100 or
more, and then you "knit in the round". When you knit a
large afghan or sweater, circular needles are wonderful.
They are easy on your fingers, and can be taken anywhere.

Yarn basics. Does it matter which yarn I knit with? It
sure does! With so many yarns available these days,
choosing what to use can be a dilemma. So, I recommend
read your instructions and read the yarn labels. There's a
whole host of info on those yarn labels. When knitting
baby items, use soft sport yarn or fine or fingering yarn.
For sweaters use worsted yarn. For afghans, worsted, wool,
DK or Aran yarn works best. For rugs or sturdy jackets, use
bulky or chunky yarns. Be sure to find out how much yarn
comes with each skein, as each project calls for a specific
amount of yarn, and each skein/ball of yarn is different.
Always buy enough yarn in the same dye lots, even if you
have to buy one extra, just to be sure. In time, you'll
have quite a stash of extra yarn and that's when you can
use your best knitting creativity to use those all up!

Gauge basics. I see the word "gauge" in every pattern I
find. Is it that important? It depends. If you are
knitting a scarf or place-mats or other specialty items,
then gauge is not that important. But, for items to wear or
even afghans, it is very important to know how many
stitches per inch and per row, you are knitting with. The
required gauge is always specified in every pattern, and
before you begin that project, make a gauge swatch to
measure correctness. If your gauge numbers are too small,
try using larger needles and vice versa. Some knitters
knit more tightly than others, so never go by what someone
else's knitting produces.

It is mastering the basics, whether they be for knitting,
cooking, painting, mothering, or brain surgery, that will
make all the rest easy to do!

Remember, when you get to know the basics, you can create a
world of knitting magic for yourself, that you will find,
is just what you have been looking for!
Knitting........enjoy!

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Is Affiliate Marketing Over Saturated? Whether you just started
thinking about getting into affiliate marketing or have been
doing it for a while (but not very successfully) you may be
wondering if it is oversaturated.

The good news is that it is not over saturated and there is a
lot more room to grow. Many people may shy away from affiliate
marketing at first because they feel that people are already
selling the best products but the fact is that it is not just
about what you sell but also about how you sell it.

Delving into affiliate marketing does not mean that you just
sell a product that no one else has to make money. It can be
that you learn to take a product or idea and market it in a way
like no one else has done to get great volumes and make oodles
of cash. Not all people on the internet who are selling products
know what they are doing when it comes to marketing.

Your online competition might not be as much of a threat as you
think.

Sellers on popular selling sites do not always know the best
way is to sell their merchandise. Some lower their product
prices to try to get people to buy from them or try other
tactics to sell more. The fact is that it is not just about the
lowest price it is about giving your customers the impression
that they really NEED what you're selling them.

Creative copy and great customer service can be driving factors
in your success in affiliate marketing. The end user wants to
feel that when they purchase a product from you that it is
quality and that they've gotten a great deal. Your customers
want to buy something from someone who they can trust on the
internet. If you can establish yourself as a trusted advisor,
they will buy anything you sell. It can take time to build this
into your marketing efforts but if you find the right
copywriting skills and really learn to market to the right
audience, your customers will be willing to buy anything you are
ready to sell. Special offers or bundles or other incentives
also work wonders. People want value for their money.

Before you get into affiliate marketing, make sure you do your
market research on your product and your audience. You want to
see who your competition is and determine if you can exceed
their savvy business skills.

Remember, it is not what you sell; it is how you sell it.
Therefore, if your competition has found unique ways to sell
products you want then you may want to choose something
different to set you apart in a crowd.

Most importantly with market research, you want to make sure
that people are buying what you want to sell. Is there a demand
for your product that you can fill? You can market all you want
but if it is a product that no one wants or needs, you are not
going to be able to push these products.

Keep in mind these secret truths about the world of internet
marketing. Yes, you can also sell products that others are
selling but you need to use new ways to market it. Following
these guidelines can make you the income you want from affiliate
marketing.

Does your business suffer from bad debts? Sending regular
reminders to your customers via statements will definitely help
to collect outstanding debts more quickly. Sometimes a quick
phone call or email reminder once the debt is overdue by a few
days is all you need to receive payment.

In my previous company when my payment collection processes
were slack customers recognized this and then chose to pay late.
As soon as I improved the collection process, most of the monies
due started to come in more promptly.

However, many small business owners face the same problem that
I have faced; they are forced to pay their larger suppliers on
time or else they incur penalties, whilst their own larger
customers take a long time to pay up. Eventually if they are in
business for long enough, sooner rather than later, one of their
bigger customers is going to go bust owing them a large sum of
money.

A good way you can protect your business from this scenario is
by taking out debtor insurance. Some companies charge you a tiny
fixed percentage for each invoice you raise, whilst other
insurance companies will give you annual cover for a one off
payment. You might find that you have to pay an excess just like
with your car insurance.

For many small businesses their debtor ledger is often their
largest biggest asset. They insure their buildings, machinery
and contents but they often overlook their debtor ledger. It
does make sense to examine this method of protecting your debtor
ledger.

Another possible way to protect your business from bad debts is
to use an outside company to collect any payments that are
overdue. The intervention of a debt collection agency is
sometimes all that is required to receive payment.

I have often used a debt collection agency in the past and
still continue to do so. We have an arrangement whereby I only
paid a fee on collection. This fee was calculated as a
percentage of the invoice value. If they failed to collect the
debt then there were no fees.

Another benefit about using a debt collection agency is that it
freed up more of my time to do business rather then spending
quality time chasing poor customers to pay their monies due. In
the long term perhaps it is better to stop doing business with
poor payers anyway, unless the margins are good.

One strategy that seems to work for many small businesses is to
offer an early payment discount if say the invoice is paid
within 7 days. I often pay suppliers early that offer this
option. Another option is to add a surcharge if a payment is
late. I personally do not like doing this as it could lead to
losing the customer altogether and might make life even more
difficult for a small business that is going through hard times.

Finally if all else fails hand the matter over to your
solicitor so that formal proceedings can begin. I tend to use
this as my weapon of last resort as once this process has
started you can forget about doing business with that customer
in the future.

Bad debt can cripple a small business, but if properly handled
then it is possible to collect monies sooner and reduce the
consequences when a bad debt occurs.

In today`s world, the number of people using cellular phones
(telefone celular) run into millions; and it is no wonder, since
it is such a wonderful gadget - with a cellular phone, you can
easily talk to anyone on this planet, from just about anywhere!

In earlier times, people would install radio telephones in
their cars if they needed mobile communications badly. In this
system, there would be a single central antenna tower in each
city, and about 25 channels would be available. So not many
people could use radio telephones, as the number of channels
available were so few.

With the present day cellular system, a city has been divided
into small cells. So extensive frequency reuse is possible
across the city, making it possible for millions of people to
use their cellular phones at the same time.

This small device, tiny enough to be carried within one`s fist,
has become the craze of the age. No other single electronic
device has acquired as much popularity within such a short span
of time. The phenomenal development in cellular phone technology
and its unprecedented demand has led to a continuous supply of
new cellular phones (telefone celular). The leading phone
manufacturers are continuously providing new phone models to
mobile crazy groups, with petite looks, cute shapes and dazzling
colors, and these have been enriched with fashionable designs
and multiple functionalities. For some people, carrying the
latest cellular phone handset has become a fashion statement.

The other striking thing about cellular phones (telefone
celular) is their easy availability. While there are costly
high-end cellular phones for the rich, medium range and cheap
cellular phones have also become widely available.

The array of functions the cellular phone (telefone celular)
provides today is astonishing, and more and more new ones are
being added all the time. Depending on the model of cell phone
you are using, you can: store contact information; make to-do
lists; set reminders and track appointments; do simple math on
the calculator; send or receive email; get news, stock quotes,
entertainment from the Internet; watch TV, play games, take
pictures, send text messages; integrate devices like MP3
players.

Camera phones have become hugely popular, and these days it has
almost become a standard feature in the latest models. With a
camera phone, you can take and share high quality pictures.
Indeed, camera phones are now driving the cellular phone market.
Camera phones (telefone celular) are becoming the favorites of
people interested in photography; these are not only user
friendly, they are also more handy for capturing unanticipated
moments of surprise. Along with a camera, there are features
like the ability to email or send pictures, store a large number
of pictures in the memory, set them as wallpaper and many more.

Since cell phones are around us all the time, and so many
people are absorbed in private conversations in every possible
place, cell phone users should follow some basic rules and good
manners. So it is in order to remind users to always put their
cellular phone on mute during meetings, public performances and
in public places like elevators, libraries, museums,
restaurants, theaters etc.

The ring tone should be pleasing to the ears and not jangle on
the nerves of the people around. One should always speak softly
and never talk loudly on the cell phone, and always excuse
oneself before taking a call. Do not interrupt a face to face
conversation to take a call, unless you are anticipating an
emergency. Use the hands free device while you are driving.

Also, respect the personal space of other people and keep at
least ten feet of space away from people when you are speaking
on your cell phone (telefone celular).

For those of you who now find yourselves upside down in your
mortgage, facing foreclosure and sometimes even bankruptcy here
are a few facts to know.

A short sale is something that the lending market has recently
come to terms with as a alternative solution for foreclosure.
With the alarming rate of foreclosures coming into the real
estate market this step seems to ward off the inevitable and
save the seller's credit.

Most sellers are now finding themselves in the horrible
situation of losing their American Dream. When they first
purchased their house it was explained to them that when the
adjustable rate mortgage kicked in that they could easily
refinance the house to a 30 year fixed note with their equity in
place. However, the market has turned and now these homeowners
are finding themselves with a mortgage that is far in excess of
what their homes are worth and lenders are not readily available
to refinance. In most instances their loan has been sold and
they are stuck with a mortgage that continues to escalate.

A short sale is a process in which you list your house with a
Realtor familiar with the process. They garnish an offer and
submit it to your lender for review. All fees are paid by your
lender and in most cases the loan is reported as satisfied. It's
important to remember a few things about the short sales.

1. Sometimes your second mortgage will require you to sign an
unsecured note for the balance of the loan. Be prepared for
this. Not all lenders do it and I sometimes suggest that the
borrower go back at a later date to renegotiate the note.

2. Do not ignore your HOA fees. Your homeowner's association
can and will put another lien on your home and that lien will
have to be cleared before the short sale is accepted. You lender
will not be willing to pay these fees and in most instances
neither will an interested buyer.

3. Most lenders request a financial worksheet, 2 most recent
copies of pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements and a hardship
letter.

4. Ensure your Realtor is familiar with the process and let
them know your home is in distress.

5. Short sales take time. Be patient and ready and willing to
show your home on a moments notice. Your showing records are
very important.

6. Don't give up! Short sales typically take 60-90 days while
the loss mitigation department reviews your short sale.

Be aware, Short Sales take time. Don't get frustrated. This is
a very good alternative to getting your house sold and saving
your credit. Buyer's get impatient but you must keep a positive
attitude and be ready with your paperwork and available for
showing and signing of documentation. Have an email address this
will help to expedite the process.

How to Feel Good With Family
Are you feeling frustrated, resentful, or angry around some
members of your family? Do you have mixed feelings about
spending time with or calling parents, siblings, children,
or relatives? Well, you are not alone. Especially during
the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, family issues
often show up in major ways.

As a Marriage, Family Therapist, I counseled many men and
women who were dealing with the pain they had around their
families. They often had guilt feelings for not wanting to
connect with them, as well as anger, fear, hurt, and
sadness.

For example, Heidi, a forty-three-year-old teacher,
complained to me that one part of her wanted to spend time
with her parents and siblings, but another part wanted to
stay away. To help Heidi heal her dilemma, I guided her
through a HART process (Holistic And Rapid Transformation).

I said, "Heidi, allow yourself to close your eyes and
imagine your family is in front of you. What do you want to
say to them? There are no consequences because they are not
really here."

At first the middle aged woman remained quiet. Then she
began to cry. After she released her sadness, I continued,
"Try the words, I feel so hurt when you __ and finish the
sentence." Heidi whispered, "I feel so hurt when you
criticize me." Then she yelled, "Stop criticizing me! I am
never good enough for you! You are always finding fault
with everything I do and all the people in my life. I am
sick of it! Leave me alone. If you love me, why are you
doing that? I just want you to love and accept me!"

Then I guided Heidi back to the time she decided that she
was not good enough. The little girl was five-years-old and
her mother was yelling at her because she did not set the
table right. This was not the first time her mother was
critical. However, this time little Heidi felt it very
deeply.

I suggested to Heidi that she release that negative scene
by burning it away with a laser beam. Then I guided her to
imagine the scene as she would have liked it to be. Heidi
visualized her mother lovingly saying, "Honey, you did a
good job and I like to do it this way." Heidi felt much
better and decided from this positive experience that she
was okay and that people have different opinions. She
realized that she was okay and good enough no matter what
anyone said or did.

Heidi naturally took a deep breath of relief. Then I guided
her to return to the present and to again imagine her
family in front of her. She smiled and said, "What you say
or do is about you and not me. I am good enough just the
way I am."

The teacher returned for another session after the
holidays. When I asked Heidi her experiences with her
family, she shared how interesting it was. She noticed how
they were all critical of themselves and others. "But this
time, Helene, I did not feel any pain. I just observed
them. It was the best visit I had with them in my adult
life," exclaimed Heidi.

Can you relate to Heidi's story? Many men and women in my
office have had the same painful experience and success in
healing it. The power of this process is to emotionally
realize (not just mentally) that you are good enough. I
have heard this negative belief, that I am not good enough,
so often that I decided that it must be an epidemic.

You can feel good around your family when you realize the
truth that no matter what anyone says or does you are good
enough, okay, worthy, important, intelligent, and a good
person. The truth sets you free, and enables you to enjoy
your loved ones.

Stress Free Holidays
Do you typically find yourself stressed around Christmas?
Would you like to feel relaxed and enjoy the preparation
and celebrations? If you do not think that is possible,
then read on.

First of all, I want to address the cause of stress which
is negative, fear-based thinking. It is often destructive
to our health and relationships. Stress can also prevent us
from enjoying the festivities and the spirit of Christmas.

For example, we feel stressed when we worry about giving
the perfect gift, or if we have enough money and/or time to
purchase presents and/or prepare the holiday meals. Stress
occurs when we believe that we should do something or we
are not okay. We are also likely to feel guilty about the
situation. For example, we may think that if we do not
purchase an expensive gift, we are a bad person.

Just avoiding the words I should, and switching to the
positive, love-based words such as I prefer, I want to, I
wish to, and I will, can bring you great relief from
stress. The truth is that whatever you do or don't do you
are okay and a good person.

You may be thinking, what about other people's reactions?
They will feel angry, hurt, rejected, or neglected. It is
my belief that if you share your truth in a loving way,
people will feel fine. For example, "I wanted to give you a
gift (or visit you) but my funds are low. Thank you for
understanding."

The following are different ways and examples that can help
you enjoy a stress free holiday.

A) Give low-cost or no-cost gifts by:

1) Sending a free internet e-card.

2) Mailing a card with a loving message.

3) Giving gifts you make. Examples include: a cake, pie,
jewelry, painting, potholders, or candles.

4) Agreeing with family and/or friends that everyone
purchase and gift wrap one present with a specific cost
limit. It can be as low as $5 to $10.Then place them all in
the middle of the room and each guest picks a number
written on a folded piece of paper. People then choose a
present in the order of their numbers. They open and
display their present to everyone. After all the guests
have their turn, they can choose to trade their gifts.

5) Doing the same as above except instead of purchasing a
gift, everyone is asked to bring something they have in
their home (commonly called a white elephant) to offer as a
present.

6) Offering a personal service. This is only limited by
your imagination. Examples include: a massage, a pedicure,
cook a meal, clean the garage or cabinets, help them
organize their closets or office, paint a room, wash their
car, watch their children, or walk their dog.

B) Have inexpensive Christmas Dinners by:

1) Inviting everyone to bring a dish and/or drink to share
(a potluck).

2) Asking people to donate money for the food and share in
the cooking and cleaning-up.

C) Enjoy time with your family by:

1) Letting go of all expectations of anyone being
different.

2) Realizing that what people do or say is about them and
not you.

3) Knowing that you are okay no matter what anyone says or
does.

4) Taking care of your own needs and wants.

5) Accepting people the way they are.

D) Plan ahead by:

1) Purchasing gifts on sale all year long.

2) Starting to make your lists early in November.

3) Finishing your shopping early in December.

Finally, we can avoid stress or let it go when we remember
the true essence of Christmas. It is about expressing our
caring and love. The Christmas Season reminds us what is
important to do all year long. It is always a gift to
others and ourselves when we express consideration,
appreciation, and gratitude. A smile, a random act of
kindness, acknowledgement, and being present are wonderful
gifts to give and receive. Christmas is about feeling
peaceful and loving, and that is also our major
contribution to world peace.

With Christmas just around the corner, it's time to start
thinking about jewelry that symbolizes a holiday that is
cherished by many. If you're in the market for a specific theme,
you may be pleasantly surprised with what you find in terms of
sterling silver designs. Whether you plan to wear it yourself or
give the gift of jewelry to someone else, a holiday theme is
sure to be a welcome addition to any woman's wardrobe.

When you think of Christmas, you may immediately think of snow
and the beauty of snowflakes trickling down from the sky on
Christmas morning. For this reason, snowflakes are a very
popular motif in terms of jewelry. From charm bracelets to
earrings and even pendants, these sentimental designs will
remind the wearer and everyone who sees her just how beautiful a
white Christmas can be. With your attention now turned to snow,
a snowman is the next likely image to appear in your mind.
Afterall, you cannot have one without the other and this makes
the snowman a very popular theme in Christmas jewelry. When set
in sterling silver, you will get a presence that's easily seen
and enjoyed. In addition, the price will be easy on your budget
when compared to other precious metals.

Unlike snowflake or snowman jewelry, which can be worn all
throughout winter and is not necessarily holiday specific,
certain types of jewelry are designed to be worn exclusively for
the holidays. Among the designs known to represent Christmas
include a holiday stocking, the image of Santa Claus, a
reindeer, a wreath and a Christmas tree. Any of these designs
will instantly add a festive touch to your wardrobe and will let
others know that you are ready for the upcoming holiday, and
you're ready for it in style.

As the winter months approach, it may become more difficult to
find specific jewelry in stock as many retailers often sell out
early. Immediately following Thanksgiving, many people's
attention turn toward Christmas and shopping for gifts. If you
find yourself in a situation where your favorite jewelry is out
of stock or perhaps on backorder, you may be able to consider an
alternate choice that will be easier to find while still
allowing you to be festive. The image of an angel is very
popular in holiday jewelry, and can be worn throughout the year
as a reminder that the wearer is never alone.

A star, which many people use to adorn the top of their holiday
tree, is a popular theme that will be well received during the
holidays and can also be enjoyed throughout the year. When you
wear star jewelry in November or December, many will instantly
associate your intended meaning with that of the holidays. After
the Christmas season has passed, you can still enjoy the star
motif as a popular statement in fashion and one that promises to
remain a classic for years to come.

If you're thinking of shopping for Christmas jewelry, it's
never too early to start browsing your favorite retailer's
product list in order to find just the right design to suit your
style and budget. Almost Diamonds, a popular online jewelry
retailer, offers a large selection of sterling silver and cubic
zirconia jewelry that's sure to help complete your gift list,
and still leave you with a little extra cash left over to treat
yourself to something special this holiday season.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Undoubtedly, I am sure you must have heard so many success
stories about online fortunes being made day –in-day out by
savvy internet marketers and ordinary folks alike. However, it
is equally true that so many more others hardly make a lot of
money online or any money at all. Many folks have been attracted
to the internet business world through incredible stories of
apparent sudden wealth and great fortunes made online. They also
rightly wish to make similar fortunes or even more fantastic
amounts of money on the internet regardless of the fact that
only a handful succeeds.

Those that have tried and got little reward or even no reward
for their efforts begin to think that achieving success online
is a fluke. Or they think it is just a matter of sheer luck?
Nothing could be further from the truth. Yes, you could be lucky
at times and end up hitting the jackpot and hitting it rich. But
this seldom happens. Your success will require some good
business sense and a lot of help from others who have gone
through the mill as well as some team effort. Let me also add
that the single most important factor that has catapulted many
successes online is the enthusiasm and hunger for success on the
part of the individuals involved in their internet marketing
businesses. These people work hard and invest some money to
lubricate their transactions and activities to attain their much
desired goals.

So what should you take as the fundamental element in internet
business? The simple answer; traffic. Without traffic, all your
effort would be in vain and will amount to a sheer waste of time
and other valuable resources. I am sure you know even from your
observation of traditional businesses in your immediate
environment that every business needs customers to survive and
subsequently thrive. You need customers to sell your products
to. Similarly, in the internet world, traffic is the walk- in
customer. Thus, as you get more traffic to your website on the
internet you stand greater chances of selling whatever products
you are offering to people.

And this is the cornerstone of all your effort at making a
success of your internet business. And this is quite
understandable. You do know that, like any business whether it
is located in a street corner of a building or in a major
shopping mall, should attract visitors. However, it is also true
that not everyone that goes in will buy, but the greater number
of people that do come in to browse your merchandise, the
greater number of people that will buy your products. It is that
simple.

So the question is , how do you get traffic that is large
enough such that a small percentage of eventual buyers make you
a handsome profit. Many big companies generate traffic of tens
of thousands a day and only a measly ten to fifteen percent
actually buys, but that small percentage is enough to provide
them with good profits and keep them in business.

Let me reveal to you that many of these success stories pay for
their traffic through continuous advertising. In other words,
the old-age adage that; you have to spend money to make money,
is true. And this makes sense as the more people that knows that
your site exists; the more people would of course go to your
site.

While it is true that you can get traffic to your web site
through free advertising, it hardly generates high volumes that
are generated through paid methods. Some of these paid
advertising methods include Google and Yahoo ads programmes and
schemes.

The search engines therefore provide the easiest and fastest
media through which you could advertise your website. Search
engines are very popular because they assist people in obtaining
information about everything that they need. They are free and
easy to use and provide a vital service to many people which is
why they get many visitors and clicks. Now you can see why so
many companies pay to advertise with these search engines.

Millions of people across the world go to these search engines
for information on a daily basis because of the links they
provide to the web sites that these users might be looking for.
You stand to benefit greatly if your web site pops up on the
search result page as this usually translates into many visits
to your site with all the resultant probability of making sales.
You might have heard of search engine Optimization which is
perhaps a cheaper method of driving traffic to your site but
paying for your adverts through the search engines especially
Google and yahoo almost guarantees traffic to your sites.

Well, paying for your advertisements as canvassed here may
sound odd to some but there is nothing wrong with it especially
when you consider the immense benefits and results that could be
obtained when done properly. Paying for your traffic assures you
of steady traffic flow and sales which keeps you in business.

You might be wandering how you will be paying for the traffic
to your site. Basically, you will be charged on the basis of the
number of clicks or hits recorded whenever your ad is clicked by
visitors. Often times, you could be also charged on the basis of
the frequency of exposure of your ads whenever a specific
keyword or keyword phrases are searched for. Therefore, it is
vitally important that you choose keywords and keywords phrase
that you believe that searchers will use in looking for
information.

There are even tools that assist you in making the appropriate
choice of keywords and phrases. Some of these keyword research
tools are free while others cost some money. But any investment
in these tools as well as the advertisement schemes discussed in
this article will not be in vain and will surely result in an
impressive boost in traffic which will also lead to a great
boost in your sales figures. Now you know why it is smart to pay
for your traffic.

Expectations the Culprit; Acceptance the Key
See if you can relate to these examples of expectations.
Mary was sad that she did not get the job she wanted. She
thought that was the perfect and possibly only job for her.
Sally felt frustrated because she did not win the art
contest. The loss shook her self-confidence in her
abilities.

Phil was angry because he was turned down for a raise. He
did not feel appreciated or valued. Jerry was upset when he
heard his wife, Cindy, tell him that she wanted to go back
to work. He was very concerned about the welfare of the
children.

Jim and Sally were depressed when a perspective buyer did
not call back. They were afraid that the house would not
sell.

I imagine that you have also experienced the human emotion
of disappointment based on expectations. I certainly have.
However, I have also learned how to shift from the negative
feeling to a positive one.

To begin with, it is helpful to understand the cause of the
negative feeling when something happens or does not happen
in your life. When we have an expectation, we are likely
to feel bad when what we wanted fails to occur. We can
choose to stay with that negative feeling and even get
angry, hurt, scared, or upset. Personally, that does not
feel good, and I imagine those reactions are not fun for
you either.

So what can you do? Let go of the expectation which is
actually saying something should or should not happen, or
I, or some one else is not okay. Notice how in each of the
above examples, the peoples' expectations were not
fulfilled and they felt fearful; they immediately attached
a negative thought to their expectation.

To shift to the positive, acceptance is the key. For
example, Mary can choose to accept not getting the job and
think that her perfect job is coming to her. Sally can
accept that she did not win the contest and she is still
gifted. She does not need the contest to affirm her
abilities.

Phil did not receive a raise at the time he asked for it.
If he accepts that he is still valued and appreciated, he
will feel better. Then he can choose to imagine himself
receiving a raise without even asking. The power of our
words, thoughts, and images is huge.

Jerry was reliving his childhood experience of his mother
not being there for him when he was growing up. The truth
is that his wife can work and arrange for someone to be
there for the children.

Jim and Sally went into fear about their home. They felt
better when they accepted that person was not the right
buyer. The couple was able to let go of their doubts, and
had faith that the perfect buyer would come at the perfect
time. Three months later that is exactly what happened. In
fact, the financial agreement was much better for them.

As you can see, expectations that are not met can cause
numerous fear-based emotions; including anger, sadness,
disappointment, and upset. However, when you can accept
what does or does not happen, you can then stay positive
and continue to focus on what you want. The magnetic
positive thoughts can attract to you what you desire.
Expectations are the culprit and acceptance is the key.

The True Spirit of Christmas
Ho! Ho! Ho! Is that what the holiday feels like to you? Or
are you burdened and stressed with so much to do? Enjoying
the holiday, and feeling and sharing love and peace is what
it is all about. I suggest that you sit down, close your
eyes, and ask yourself what is the true spirit of
Christmas. You may be surprised of the answer you receive.

The Christmas Holiday is a celebration of love and peace.
There are many ways to rejoice and experience these
wonderful feelings. Giving and receiving is one great way.
However, being stressed and spending more than you can
afford defeats the purpose because they are coming from
fear instead of love.

Decorating your home and office with the holiday lights and
fixtures is fun and beautiful to behold. Worrying about how
it looks defeats the purpose. Lighten up and do your best.

Inviting loved ones to dinner and parties can be so much
fun as long as you relax and allow the joy to come through.
Stressing about everything being perfect can dampen the
experience. The people are coming to share in the spirit of
the holiday, which comes from your love and peace
consciousness and not from material things or food.

Moderation of food and drinks is very helpful.
Over-indulging in sugar can taste good but you are likely
to be sorry later. Being frustrated with your weight gain
and lowering of your immune system can be a consequence.
Making sure that you get enough sleep is also important. Do
you notice that when you feel tired or sick it is harder to
come from your love space?

Remembering that the spirit of Christmas is love and peace
for others, and also yourself, can guide you to enjoy the
holidays and after. I suggest that you keep asking
yourself, how am I feeling? You can put your hand over your
heart to remind you to come from that loving place no
matter what you are doing. Make yourself number one
 that is a gift to others. Your loved ones want you
to feel good and be healthy and happy.

Since the word should comes from fear, avoid that idea. Do
what feels good to you and trust that others will be
grateful. Expecting that family members and friends should
be different can also be a set up for disappointment.
Accept them the way they are and resist the temptation to
take what they do or say personally. The truth is you are
okay no matter what anyone says or does. Express your love
and compassion, and you will be amazed how people may
change also from fear to love.

The value of the present is in the love energy it is
presented. An invaluable gift can be forgiveness of someone
you are angry at, or saying you are sorry from your heart
to another. What a wonderful way to celebrate this glorious
holiday.

If you can, offer your services as a volunteer to those who
are less fortunate than you. Reach out to others and your
heart will sing. It is the little things that can make a
big difference. Sincerely wishing others, including
strangers, a joyful holiday from your heart can touch
theirs.

The spirit of Christmas is bonding with others, spending
quality time, taking the time to show you care, sharing fun
times, and sending love and peace to the world. No matter
how you choose to spend this holiday season, remember the
true spirit of Christmas.

Set Healthy Boundaries
Do you allow others to do and say things to you that do not
feel good? Would you like to establish new patterns to deal
with the problem?

Everyone needs to set healthy boundaries. This is a gift to
others and you. By allowing people to act in ways that are
not appropriate, you actually hurt them too because they
are stuck in their unhealthy behavior. Therefore, it is
important to learn how to establish boundaries for all
involved.

Denise's husband was very frustrated at work. Alan would
come home and yell at her. At first she yelled back, and
Alan got angrier and acted even meaner. Denise stuffed her
anger and withdrew. That did not work either because she
was miserable, and Alan did not improve. In her counseling
session, I encouraged her to set her boundaries for both of
their good. Otherwise, she is an enabler or a co-dependent.

The following week, Denise told me that she said to Alan in
a calm, firm voice, "I am not willing to live this way."
To her surprise, Alan changed his attitude and stopped his
negative behavior. In fact, he was his kind self again. I
imagine that he heard her and realized that he could no
longer get away with his actions without a consequence. I
acknowledged Denise for setting healthy boundaries.

Can you relate to Denise's situation? Are you being
physically or verbally abused? No one deserves to be the
target of other people's pain. No matter what happened in
the past, you are a good person and you deserve to be
treated with love and respect.

I discovered in the process I developed, HART (Holistic And
Rapid Transformation), that clients who allowed others to
be abusive to them as adults experienced that behavior from
their parents or guardians. Since we make decisions from
our experiences, they decided that they must be bad and
deserve to be abused. That is not true! The truth is that
what people say or do is about them and not you. The truth
is that you are okay and a good person no matter what
others do or say.

If you feel you deserve to be abused because of guilt
feelings, you can forgive yourself and stop punishing
yourself. We all make mistakes so that we can learn from
them.

Setting healthy boundaries is also a very important
parenting skill. Children actually subconsciously want you
to stop them from misbehaving. They need you to be a
strong, consistent parent and healthy model for them.
Telling the child what is acceptable and the consequences
of their negative behavior is the way to go. Then if they
misbehave, follow that with the logical consequence.

For example, if your son Johnny yells at you, then ask him
to speak calmly and respectfully. Of course, that is the
way you speak to him to model healthy communication. If he
continues to misbehave, then you can set your boundary by
saying, "If you yell at me, you will have to go in your
room and stay there until you can calmly tell me what you
want to say." Be sure to follow through with the logical
consequence any time Johnny yells at you.

It is important for parents to prepare their children for
life. You may be willing to take their abuse, but it is not
likely that their peers, bosses, or teachers will. Also, if
you allow abusive behavior, there is a good chance the
child will repeat it with their partner and children. It is
very important to set healthy boundaries so that your son
or daughter can learn acceptable behavior and succeed
socially and in school, work, relationships, and parenting.

You may be asking yourself, what are healthy boundaries?
These are decided by what feels good emotionally and
physically for all involved. For example, taking illegal
drugs, drinking alcohol excessively, or smoking cigarettes
are not healthy for anyone. Addictions are ways to numb our
pain, but we feel it again after the effects of the
addiction wears off. If this is your scenario, you can say,
"I love you and I am not willing to support your
addiction." Then, for example, you can make a suggestion to
go for counseling to deal with the causes of the pain which
are the causes of the addiction. This is a gift to them and
you.

It is important to be strong, and to protect yourself if
the abuser refuses to deal with the issues. People who
abuse often need to feel scared to lose you if they do not
deal with their problems, in order to have the courage to
face their pain (the cause of their negative behavior).
Tell the abuser calmly what you are willing to do and
follow through.

It can be more difficult with siblings, cousins, parents,
etc. However it is important to set the same boundaries.
Tell them what you want in a loving way. Protect yourself
from their projection of their pain. You do not deserve to
be anyone's scapegoat.

In the case of friends who you feel are abusive, have the
courage to let them go. We all need friends and many people
can fill that need. Set your intent to be only with people
who are kind, loving, and respectful, and that is what you
will attract. These are healthy boundaries. Making excuses
for people does not serve anyone.

Be honest with everyone, including yourself. When other
peoples' behaviors do not feel good, take a stand. "I love
you, and I am only willing to stay in this friendship (or
relationship) if we can share mutual respect and kindness,"
is a nice way to establish healthy boundaries.

Celebrate the Spirit of New Years
Celebration is often the word associated with New Years.
Many fun, traditional parties are enjoyed. That is
definitely part of the spirit of the holiday. However,
there is much more.

To begin with, New Years Eve is a time to express gratitude
for all that we have and what we have experienced. Even
events that appeared negative often have a positive side of
it too. For example, you may have been upset when you were
laid off at your job but that freed you up to find an even
better one. We can be grateful where we live, and that we
are alive and healthy.

We can also celebrate the spirit of the New Years holiday
in a symbolic ceremony. Many people experience it as a time
to let go of the old and bring in the new. I have had
gatherings with friends where we wrote on a piece of paper
all that we wanted to let go of. These included:
loneliness, struggle, illness, stress, and addictions. We
happily crumpled up the paper and threw it into the burning
fireplace. When a fire was not available, we dumped the
paper into a designated garbage bag or pail. We often
experienced a release and felt a smile on our faces.

Then we wrote down on another piece of paper what we wanted
to experience in the New Year. Often included were loving,
fulfilling relationships, good health, prosperity, a slim
body, and peaceful feelings. We shared these with everyone
in the group as if it was already happening. For example,
"I am in a loving, fulfilling relationship. I am prosperous
and slim." To reinforce the affirmations, we supported
everyone with their wishes by saying, "You deserve all that
and more!"

Sometimes, we took it a step further and closed our eyes so
that we could imagine or visualize how we wanted our lives
to be. This is another great method of actualizing your
desires.

Other times, people brought magazines and a poster board.
We had fun looking for pictures that represented what we
wanted to create it our lives. This is referred to as a
treasure map and is very powerful.

For example, some men and women picked the car model, year,
and color they wanted, as well as their dream home. Others
cut out pictures of a person with a slim, healthy body. Fun
vacation spots were popular. Sometimes words like
prosperity were added. All these pictures and words were
pasted onto the poster board, and they wrote their positive
thoughts or affirmations under them.

I found this to be extremely powerful to attract things to
me, so be sure that you include exactly what you want. For
example, if you love a blue car, put that picture up and
not a yellow one.

Of course, it is imperative to forgive yourself for
anything you felt you did wrong. Guilt feelings cause us to
punish ourselves. One way we do that is by not allowing
ourselves to have what we desire.

Finally, it is important to forgive others. Anger hurts
everyone involved. It is human to make mistakes. We all act
out of fear at times instead of love. Have compassion for
peoples' pain and forgive them. This is the time to
complete whatever needs to be dealt with so that you can
begin with a new slate and bring in more love and peace.
Then you can enjoy the spirit of the New Years holiday.

On January 1st you can declare, "Today is the first day of
the rest of my life! I am choosing love and peace!" That is
the key to health, happiness, success, and world peace.

One of the most exciting aspects of The Berry Tree is that you
have the ability to earn on every active member in the company
through the Monthly Bonus Pools. The companies Reversible
MatrixTM system is what allows members to earn on every active
member. Once you qualify for the Monthly Bonus Pools, every
active member is counted in your commissions and you will earn a
percentage on their volume every month.

The Berry Tree is quickly becoming one of the most popular
programs on the Internet because many people want to start a
home business that is safe and can guarantee them income over
time. It is structured in such a way that it will benefit all
members, even if they do not want to promote the program and
product. There is also a money back guarantee as well.

How do the monthly bonuses work?

Each month that you are an active member you begin to acquire
Berry Member Credits or BMC's. These credits are applied each
month to the bonus pools. These credits will allow members to
earn from every single member in the company. Berry Member
Credits are automatically given to you, one credit for every two
months you are an active member. You can never lose any credits
as long as you remain active. In other words, a Berry Member
Credit can not join and quit. They keep accumulating for you,
allowing you to steadily continue to advance in the program.

I've saved the best part for last. The monthly Bonus Pools.
Watch your home business take off in no time. Once you have a
combination of 10 personally sponsored including your BMC's and
spillover you will earn from everyone in the program. If that is
not an incentive to become a member, than I honestly don't know
what else could be more convincing.

Just think of all the parents that could build a college fund
for their children with the Berry Tree. The Berry Tree will grow
a monthly income much faster than the traditional savings or
investments. There is also a triple your money back guarantee
that means simply that after 20 months as a member if you do not
qualify for the Bronze Bonus Pool then the company will triple
your money back. You can not get that kind of a guarantee from
any other investment.

Rose gardens and rose garden designs are typically quite
stunning on their own, but if you are looking for a spectacular
way to make them even more dramatic and stunning, you should
consider adding cast stone wall fountains to the mix. Cast stone
wall fountains are quite beautiful, and can really add a lot of
beauty to any garden, especially rose gardens which are already
stunning all on their own. Because rose gardens are typically
filled with so much color, the contrast added by the cast stone
wall fountains can really be an aesthetic improvement.

Rose Garden Designs using Cast Stone Wall Fountains

If you are looking for the right rose garden design and you
already know what type of outdoor wall fountains you will be
using, then you can essentially base the design of your rose
garden on the hardscape elements. It would be stunning, for
example, for you to let your roses climb the walls on either
side of your outdoor wall fountains, to add some drama to the
stone or brick walls that your fountains adorn. Can you imagine
the dramatic appearance of brightly colored roses climbing over
stark outdoor wall fountains? It really would be a stunning
sight, and visitors to your rose garden would be absolutely
thrilled to see it. Find out more about ways to incorporate wall
fountains with your outdoor decor at
http://www.ckclandscapinginc.com.

If on the other hand, you have already begun to grow your rose
garden and are looking for ways to add cast stone wall fountains
to the décor, you may have a little more difficulty because you
will have to find fountains that not only fit in with the colors
of your rose garden, but you will also have to find wall
fountains that work well with the space that you already have.
While many people begin with cast stone fountains and add other
elements like rose bushes later, some people choose their
flowers long before hard-scaping elements like cast stone wall
fountains, rocks, fences and walls are ever even added.

Many garden designers place trellises, gazebos or arbors that
border their rose garden or even place in the center of the rose
garden. By using such a design it makes it much easier to find a
place to hang outdoor wall fountains in the absence of brick
walls or other type of walls and borders that typically border
rose gardens. Learn about the positive aspects of incorporating
wall fountains with your landscaping at
http://www.witch-crafted.com/garden8.htm.

Cast Stone Wall Fountains and Colors

Rose gardens, by nature, are truly stunning, simply because
they involve so much bright color. The people who create rose
gardens generally tend to work very hard at cultivating them,
growing the perfect roses, pruning the bushes perfectly. Anyone
who puts this much energy into a rose garden will understand how
absolutely imperative it is to find garden elements that work
perfectly in the décor and design of the garden. You do not want
your cast stone wall fountains to contrast your rose gardens in
the wrong way. You want all of the colors, all of the textures,
shapes and design elements to fit together in the perfect way;
otherwise you are simply wasting your time and money, exploring
design options that might never work.

Finding not only the perfect cast stone wall fountains, but
also the perfect rose garden designs is really up to you
ultimately, because gardening is all about tending to something
that you enjoy and are passionate about, rather than simply
accepting the advice of a stranger. As long as you understand
that choosing outdoor wall fountains has a lot to do with making
them blend in with your garden, you will do just fine when it
comes to designing your beautiful rose garden around your cast
stone water features, and your beautiful outdoor wall fountains
around your stunning rose garden designs. For more information

Researching your job, employment prospects can reap huge
dividends that you might not have obtained otherwise. More and
better paying jobs will come your way. You will be in a better
position to spot excellent job opportunities. You will be in a
much better position to plan and enhance your career path – to
better paying and more satisfying job employment positions.

Some people will disdainfully advise and tell you. "Get your
act in gear". "First you talk a then you do" and "Action is
everything". And yet if you do not plan and research your job
employment search then you are just throwing mud against and
wall- wasting much time and energy. In the end you may not get a
job or the job that you will get will not be one of the better
jobs – either in pay or conditions.

Those that fail to research – plan to not get the best job that
they could have obtained in their job employment search and
career seeking process.

What can you gain form doing your research in your job
employment search? This depends on what stage of the job hunt
you are currently on. If you are trying to figure out what you
want to do with your life- research will more than doors for you
– doors that you may not have even known that existed. Research
puts you in touch with people and may even help you access the
hidden job market – that is of jobs that are not even known of
are never even advertised at all.

It is also much easier to make an informed decision about your
job or career path if you know and are aware of all the
possibilities available to you. Why limit your options or indeed
you potential to earn a good or better income? Figure this out
through research whether it is by researching online, reading
books, visiting trade fairs, cruising around the various
employment and career related websites or by conducting
information interviews: where you talk to people who are
currently working in a job or career that you might think would
be an interesting or highly paid Endeavor to work in or within.

If you are at the stage where you have decided on a job and are
ready to starting looking, research again opens doors for you.
Research does not stop once you have found a couple of jobs that
peak your interest and intrigue. Your chances of landing an
interview improve once you have done your research and able to
relate your experiences and skills directly to the company and
that job or position.

Additionally researching the employment and career field will
unfold great benefits to you.

You will learn more about yourself and what you want out a job
and eventually a career. Self assessment will help you to learn
more about what you what you are good at, what you like and
ultimately what you want out of and what will make you happy and
successful in a job and career of your choice.

Next learning about different occupations and industries will
help you hone in "what it is that you would like to do". Sure
you may have to take a position at the moment that may not be
your first choice, but now that you have honed your target you
will be in a position to better assess and choose skills,
positions and training that will lead you to your desired
target.

By finding out and researching information on specific
companies you will not only demonstrate hard to find and hire
research and stick to it skills to prospective employers , but
also you may find the "diamond in the rough" of a great company
or job , that is lying not discovered nor appreciated ( yet).
After who knows a company or industry better than a competitor?
Who is the best person to ask on the aspirin company but the
salesman for Tylenol? You may discover the next Microsoft or
Research in Motion (Rim) and know to stay away from laggard
companies on the way down.

In conducting research on companies – it is always best to
frame in that this is all in all an exercise on learning how to
market your most important asset – yourself. The best jobs do
not necessarily go to the smartest or most qualified people but
rather to sincere job hunters who know how to market themselves
the best. Craft your resume and cover letter to make sure that
you come out on top.

Remember that in the end there are always lots more jobs out
there than meet the eye. Research, research and research. The
benefits of your efforts will pay off in spades – both in your
employment and eventual career path.

The Spirit of Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is a wonderful reminder to express our
love. To me, everyday is Valentine's Day. "Focus each day
not on what you can accomplish, but how much caring and
love you express to others and yourself."

We can share our love with a kiss, a hug, a smile, or a
gift. People also receive our caring message when we
listen, are present, spend time with them, help them in
some way, give them a massage, or contact them to express
your appreciation and gratitude that they are in your life.
You can also draw them a bubble path, leave loving notes
around the house and in their briefcase or purse. There are
many ways to give free, wonderful gifts that will be
greatly appreciated.

Love is what we all desire. When we do not feel that
powerful emotion we are in some form of pain. Our soul
wants to express love and be loved. It is important to keep
in mind that true love is unconditional. In other words, it
is not, "If you loved me you would buy me an expensive
present."

Are you expecting on this day for your partner to prove to
you that you are loved? Or deciding by the value of the
gift how much he/she loves you? That is setting yourself up
for pain. The expectation also comes from pain because you
do not know in your heart that they love you and you are
lovable.

Whether you receive a gift from a loved one or not, it is
helpful to remember to celebrate Valentine's Day expressing
love to yourself. Send yourself a card, or flowers, or buy
yourself a present. Call your cell or home number and leave
yourself a loving message. Look in the mirror and say, "I
love you!" Put notes on your bathroom mirror and
refrigerator, etc, "I love you!" Loving yourself is a key
to health, happiness, and attracting and maintaining
successful relationships.

We often want others to show us love so that we can feel we
are lovable. The truth is that it lasts a short time
because we need to feel it in ourselves. The number one
Valentine needs to be you. Then you can truly love another.

How to truly love yourself is the most important thing you
will ever explore. The results are high self-esteem. Then
you can allow yourself to enjoy prosperity, success, a
slim, healthy body, loving people in your life, and much
more.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist for over 27 years, I
have counseled numerous clients who, according to society's
standards, were very successful in every way. They had
beautiful children, wives, husbands, homes, money, cars,
and vacations. However, they were miserable inside. They
had felt even worse because they had so much and yet it did
not fulfill the yearning inside to be at peace, to feel
fulfilled and happy.

The clients taught me that the most important things in
life are: loving yourself and others, being truly who you
are, doing what you want to do, and living in love and
gratitude.

Make Valentine's Day everyday. The spirit of the
celebration is expressing love and that is the most
powerful gift. Tell your loved ones you love them in
different ways. Remember to also tell yourself.

Why Romance Stops and How to Keep it Alive
Are you frustrated with the lack of romance in your
relationship? Have you been puzzled why it disappeared? Do
you feel more like roommates?

You are not alone. As a Marriage, Family Therapist, I had
many clients who experienced the same problem. Through the
process I developed, HART (Holistic And Rapid
Transformation), I was able to assist them to successfully
rekindle their romantic love by helping them to understand
the causes and solutions.

To begin with, love is not enough. It takes two people who
have high self-esteem and good communication skills to
maintain a long standing, healthy relationship.
Unfortunately, we do not teach these vital things in
school. In this article, I will deal with the communication
patterns.

Some of the major causes of this problem are how people
deal with their negative feelings of fear, hurt, anger,
resentment, etc. There are four basic patterns couples
have. Three out of the four are dysfunctional and likely to
affect what happens in the bedroom. I always ask the
couple to stand-up and face each other up so that they can
experience their negative reactions and then change them to
positive ones.

The first stance is two active aggressors. You know when
they are angry because they are being critical and likely
raising their voices. This is a noisy household with many
heated arguments. I ask the couple to face each other,
shake their pointed fingers, and pretend they are having an
argument.

The second pattern is two passive aggressors. This
household is quiet but there is a cold war in the mist.
Both people turn their backs from each other. They deal
with their negative feelings by shutting down. However they
are often expressed covertly with sarcasm, being absent or
late, forgetting important dates, etc. If they have the
courage, one day, they ask for a divorce, or ease their
pain with an affair.

The combination of the active and passive aggressor is the
third dysfunctional pattern. To picture this, imagine one
person shaking his angry finger while the other turns his
back. These patterns feed each other. The more one
expresses anger to their partner, the more they move away.
The active aggressor then feels angrier and escalates the
attacks.

As you can see, everyone loses in these three dysfunctional
patterns. What then to do? The only functional way is the
active aggressor puts his accusing finger down and the
passive aggressor faces his partner. With constructive
communication skills, they can resolve their issues and
feel even closer. Once they come to win-win solutions and
make agreements, they can maintain a romantic, loving
relationship.

By the way, this model can be applied to all relationships
including business partners, friends, children, siblings,
and co-workers. Being caring and loving will bring people
closer. Passive or active aggression will push people away.

For couples, I also recommend that they take care of their
appearances to maintain their attraction. It is very
helpful to schedule weekly date nights and monthly weekends
away to keep their relationship intimate. This is also a
gift to the children as they can do well with happy
parents. The couples are also then modeling a healthy
relationship.

In summary, romantic intimacy is often affected by what
happens outside of the bedroom. If you are having romantic
problems, look inside yourself to see what you can do
different. Pointing your finger at your partner or ignoring
them will only escalate the problem. With awareness and
communication tools you can enjoy the loving, romantic
relationship you desire and deserve.

Wondering how your dog will get along with your baby? Worried
about the safety of your baby and are probably thinking of
getting rid of your dog? These are legitimate questions that are
asked by dog owners when they are expecting a new born baby in
the family.

The good thing is that, done in a careful manner, its possible
to introduce your pet to your new member of the family. With
proper planning, its possible to train your dog to interact with
your baby and the baby to love your dog

How to Get the Dog Used to the Baby

Expecting a new baby at home brings a time time of change,
discovery and joy in the home. If you own a dog, you may have
fears of your baby will interact with your new baby. Don't worry
though. If you prepare early in advance, you should be able to
minimize any situations that might arise.

For example, if the dog likes to roam freely in the house and
all the rooms, start teaching him not to enter particular rooms
that serve as the nursery. Keep the doors closed so that the dog
realizes that the room is not part of his. Afterwards, get the
pet used to being in the room without you.

Keep the nursery door closed when assembling the baby
furniture. When you do this, the dog learns that even though
there is activity in the room, he is not welcomed.

Have you ever taken your dog to obedience training school? If
he's never been to one, this is the opportune time for you and
him to attend. The advantage is that not only does it allow you
to spend quality time with the dog, it also equips you with the
appropriate tools required to control the behavior of your dog.

It also helps the dog relax in rooms full of activity including
dogs and children.

There are other methods you can teach your dog to get used to
the baby. One is buying tapes recorded with voices of babies
crying!

You can start by playing the tapes at low volume until the dog
gets used to the sound. With time, gradually increase the noise
to realistic levels over a period of weeks. With this exercise,
it will help your dog not to be alarmed when the baby finally
arrives.

When the baby comes home, keep the dog away from the baby for a
few days. By now he has already gotten used to the baby noises.
You can get him used to the baby smell by letting him sniff the
baby's blanket or let it lie on his sleeping area.

When you are comfortable introducing the baby to the dog, keep
the dog on a short leash & give him a reward afterwards.

By rewarding the dog, you are showing him that the baby is a
good thing to have around. Please make sure you watch the dog
closely when they are in the same room. Do not assume anything!
The reason is that it teaches the dog to stop seeing the baby as
a threat or something that is out to replace him.

Be alert also when the baby starts to crawl and walk. The dog
might get terrified by the baby's movements or might see your
baby as prey. The dog needs to get used to the baby moving
around apart from being carried also. When the baby is crawling,
have the dog next to you and reward him for being still. Over
time, the dog will get used to the child moving around.

How to Teach the Child to Safely Interact with the Dog

It's important to teach your child how to interact with the
family dog as the child grows. Your child needs to be taught how
to play safely with the dog. For example, teach the child not to
strike the dog or pull at the dog's fur.

You also need to teach your child not to follow or chase the
dog when its runs away from them. Also teach your child not to
disturb the dog when it is eating or sleeping.

You would think that it is very easy to discuss blocking spam.
But still, you find yourself scratching your head and staring at
the ceiling everytime you give it a try. Why not make use of
tools and certain utilities, which are very easy to use, that
can do so well in eliminating unsolicited junk mail from your
inbox?

You can try using SpamBayes. SpamBayes is a project that is
concentrated on working on the development of a Bayesian
anti-spam filter. Do not mistake this filter for another copy of
other similar projects for this filter is different. The main
difference between SpamBayes and other filtering projects is the
emphasis on testing newer and more recently released approaches
to scoring messages.

K9 is an application, which also filters electronic mail, which
works in conjunction with your regular everyday POP3 emial
program. It automatically puts into classification certain
incoming mails into spam, or junk mail, and mail that are not
junk mail into non-spam, without any requirement of maintaining
lots and lots of rules or constant updates to be downloaded.

The MailWasher is an extremely powerful email checker that has
effective spam elimination. This is believed to be a "safe"
method, or tool, in stopping unwanted emails and viruses before
they get inside your hard drive.

Another spam blocking software is the Spamihilator. In case you
had not noticed, the Spamihilator is derived from the
combination of spam and the word annihilator. With this said, it
just has to be very effective, given its name. Indeed it is
effective, for it is a program that examines and observes your
electronic mails while downloading from a certain server and
also deletes unwanted messages that advertise almost everything
on the planet.

Spam-Aid, on the other hand, takes a more secure and opposite
approach, compared to other spam blocking software. Instead of
checking a certain email for spam characteristics, which is the
method done by other tools, it just checks a specific mail for
non-spam characteristics. Most email users want to get mail only
from the people that they are acquainted with, to avoid any
psychotic motives. Spam-Aid lets you determine whose messages
can be received, either from people who are already in your
address book or your old buddies.

EmC is very skilled in combining blocking with comprehensive
spam mail detection, and is also inclusive of a basic antivirus
scan engine that protects you from those malicious file
attachments as well.

Instead of racking your head trying to figure things out on
your own, it is a lot better to just download or install these
said spam blocking tools and you will find it very easy to say
goodbye to those junk mail that you have hated ever since.

With so many wonderful online businesses these days, consumers
can easily find what they are looking for. The majority of
individuals use a search engine to help them find materials
based on keywords they enter. You want your information to be on
that first page of listings as most consumers won't look further
than that. By taking the time to plan your marketing strategies,
motivate the reader to take action, and offering them step by
step instructions on how to respond you can capture your piece
of the online market and have a very successful business.

Many online business owners find it to be a great opportunity
for them. Instead of having to invest in property locally and
hire employees to manage it, they can do all the work from home.
This means less investment, less overhead, and a flexible
schedule. You also have the ability to sale to people all over
the world, not just those who happen to live in the area.

You also don't need to worry about renting an office or paying
employees. If you need help you can hire someone to do certain
aspects of the business from their own home as well such as
providing customer service or updating your web pages. You will
save time and money on commuting and professional attire to wear
to the office as well.

There are many different payment methods that consumers can
choose from when they want to pay for something online. They can
use credit cards, various payment sites such as Paypal,
e-checks, and more. This means it is now easier than ever to
find what you want online, complete the checkout process, choose
a payment method, and wait for it to arrive.

There are many advantages to operating an online business that
you just don't have with a traditional business. You will find
it saves you both time and money when it comes to the area of
marketing. You can also take advantage of the programs offered
for affiliates instead of coming up with your own products or
services to sell online.

In order to get your online business recognized by the various
search engines, you need to submit the site to their
directories. You also want to continue adding informational
materials in the form of articles or newsletters to your site.
This allows the crawlers for the search engines to read and
index the materials and then display them when a consumer enters
similar keywords or key phrases during a search.

In order for your online business to get recognized by
consumers and off the ground, you will need to implement various
marketing strategies to reach your target market. The more
people in this category that recognize your information the more
your sales will increase. Any good internet market strategy
starts with careful planning. Know what you want to achieve and
then devise a plan to make it happen. Remember that you have to
show consumers what is in it for them in order to motivate them
to respond in the way you want them to.

It is vital that you have controls in place so you can monitor
the success of any online marketing campaign. Use the tools out
there to compile data and make sure you know how to read it. All
of that information isn't going to benefit you if you don't know
what it means.

Pay close attention to the feedback you get from current
customers as well as potential customers. This is the best way
to find out what you are excelling at and where you need to make
improvements in order to meet the needs of your target customer
base. You can modify your marketing strategies if they aren't
where they should be. Since consumer trends are always changing
be prepared to have to continue tweaking your strategies.

Why You Suck At Online Network Marketing
Nobody likes to think they suck at anything. But I have to
admit, I was TERRIBLE at online network marketing when I
started. But I've been through an expensive and time
consuming learning curve, and want to help you avoid making
the same mistakes I did, so you can move from the "stink it
up" phase to the "walk the stage" phase of your business!

Here are eight things you can do to ensure success:

1. Have a strong Why. This is definitely number one. If you
don't have a very clear vision of what you want, and a
"never say die" attitude, you probably won't succeed
anywhere, in anything. Spend some time getting very clear
on what you want, why you want it, and commit to pay the
price to get it.

2. Join the right company. This one was painful for me
because I had many good friends in my former company, and I
was very loyal. But as I tried to build my organization
online, I came to understand that they didn't get it with
the internet, they weren't going to get it any time soon,
and the wave of opportunity was going to pass me by if I
didn't find a cutting edge company. Very tough decision,
but when I finally found the right company it was like
taking the brakes off, my organization grew bigger in 5
months than my old team grew in 3 years!

3. Eliminate distractions. Let's face it, when you get
online there's suddenly a thousand things fighting for your
attention. News clips, videos, time wasting e-mails,
marketing programs, video games... the list goes on and on.
You have to be able to focus on your daily priorities until
they are all done before you get distracted by any of these
time sucking income reducers.

4. Establish a plan and strategy. If you don't know exactly
how to accomplish your goals, you are likely to be sucked
into "program of the week" mode. You must have a business
plan, and know what activities will get you the signups you
need in your business. Don't fall for every sales pitch you
see. Figure out what works and commit to it, only trying
new strategies after your core methods are implemented.

5. Be a good student. Too many people rely on others for
their success. Listen, the only person who REALLY, DEEPLY
cares about YOUR success is you. YOU must become the
expert. You can't outsource your marketing education to
somebody else.

6. Develop the habit of personal development. I have heard
many of the top online marketers and network marketers
train, and every single one of them has a personal
development program. They read the good books, listen to
life improving audios, and attend self improvement and
marketing seminars.

7. Be willing to WORK for your dreams! There is no
substitute for HARD WORK! Be willing to put in the hours to
build a great business. Second to work is the issue of
consistency. Online network marketing is something that has
to be done DAILY. Too many people dabble at it, spending a
few hours here and there. That doesn't work. It's much
better to spend a little bit of time every single day than
a lot of time on Saturday. If you are limited on time, just
do ONE thing to improve your online business each day. Try
it for a month and prepare to be amazed at how much
progress you've made!

8. Have realistic expectations. Because there are so many
hypy, unbelievable testimonials out there people think they
are going to get to a $10,000 a month income their first
month. Unfortunately, a lot of people HAVE done this
online, and it can be done. But we usually don't hear the
"story behind the story". Success almost always comes after
a period of consistent, effective work. As great as the
internet is, and as much leverage as it provides, it just
makes the process easier and shorter, but you still have to
go through the process. What if it takes you five years to
make over $100,000 a year? Consider this: most people in
the US work 40 years, 40 hours a week and only 5% reach the
$100,000 a year mark, but we are willing to quit our online
business in the first year if we don't achieve it?! We just
need to be willing to commit to the process for as long as
it takes, and give our efforts a chance to compound.

Online network marketing does work, it's a lot of fun, and
it there's nothing like the "mailbox" money it provides.
These eight things just aren't that hard to do. Do a "check
up from the neck up" to see which of these areas you need
to work on to ensure you have success in your online
network marketing business!
