Why Adults Prefer Video Dating To Traditional Online Dating
If you are interested in meeting some new people in a way
different from the tired old method that many online
websites use to get adults together, then maybe you should
look into the concept of video dating online. It is an
interesting way not only for you to meet new people, but
also to experience discussion with them on a personal level
that is not normally afforded to you when you talk to them
over internet dating websites.

This is not to disparage those websites in any way as many
of them were pioneers in the field of online dating. But
now that technology has surpassed the conventional services
they provide, why not take advantage of it? Do a quick
search on the internet and you will find websites dedicated
to video dating popping up all over the place to help you
share in this wonderful new experience.

Like many of the best ideas in the world today, adult
dating online is actually not an original idea. The online
part of it is original, but conventional video dating
services have been around for a very long time. However,
the thing that kept them from being truly universal was the
fact that most of them were expensive and therefore only
the really well-off, or the really desperate were able to
use their services! These are perhaps the two least
desirable groups of people to meet with in general terms
and therefore it is no surprise that video dating did not
really catch on for the most part.

However, when that concept was mixed in with the concept of
using the internet, then online video dating was born. It
was a success right from the start because for the first
time people could make videos of themselves to put online
for very small charges and therefore, more people were
participating in the programs. The programs attracted more
people that not only submitted their own videos but looked
at others as well and ultimately more serious relationships
were formed because of the simple fact that people were
able to meet each other in as personal a way as is possible
over the internet before they really formed a rapport.

If you have been on dating websites for a long time now and
have found yourself floundering in terms of finding that
special someone, then rest assured there is a better way of
doing things. If you are interested in doing things in this
better way, then you definitely need to check out the
concept of video dating online. It can recharge your love
life in the way that few other things in this world can
match and the price involved with it is absolutely a
pittance. If you want to find that special someone in your
life and kindle a passion with them right from day one,
then adult video dating is definitely the way forward.

Visit Valencia, Spain's City Of Culture
Valencia is the third largest city in Spain. It is a
melting pot of the traditional and the modern, and home to
a very friendly and warm population. From a tourist's
perspective, the city and its outskirts have lots of
tourist attractions, stunning beaches, museums, culture and
arts, and in short, everything that one would expect to see
and experience in a vacation hotspot. Reaching there is
quite easy as Valencia is well connected by air and road to
all major towns and cities in Spain as well as other
European countries.

One of the major highlights of Valencia is its festivals,
most of which are celebrated in the summer months, starting
February to June. This includes February carnivals, the Las
Fallas festival in the following month, Holy Week and
Easter celebrations, Corpus Christi in the month of June,
and the San Juan bonfires in June end. The 'Tomato Warfare'
in Bunol every summer and fireworks in Paterna in August
are other notable festivals.

Regarding other must-visit places, the first on the list is
the magnificent Valencia City of Arts and Science, which
includes the L'Hemisfèric Planetarium, the leisure
complex Palacio de las Artes Reina Sofia, the artificial
marine world Parque Oceanográfico, and the treasure
cove of information and artifacts, the Museo de las
Ciencias Principe Felipe. Also, it is worth visiting the
Miguelete Tower, offering a panoramic view of the city,
Nicolau Primitiu Library, Palacio de la Música, the
music palace, and Palacio de Justicia.

Historic edifices of interest include Antigua Universidad
de Valencia, the 18th century hall - Ayuntamiento - the
World Heritage Site of Lonja, Puente del Mar - the 400 year
old sea bridge - and the main port, Puerto de Valencia. The
small town of Sagunto, on the northern outskirts of
Valencia, has some ancient Roman edifices and ruins.

For shopping, Plaza Redonda and Plaza de la Virgen would be
ideal. Also, it'll be a nice experience to walk around the
historic square at the heart of the city's Old Quarter,
Plaza de Manises, or to savor the sight of Plaza de Toros,
the 19th century Valencia bullring.

No visit to Valencia would be complete without a visit to
the city's some extraordinary museums, especially if you
are somebody who loves history and archeology. The famous
museums in the city include Museo de Ciencias Naturales,
Museo de Prehistoria y Arqueologia, Museo de la Ciudad,
Museo Taurino, and San Pious V Museum.

For those who love sea, the beaches, and water sports,
there are plenty of those along the Valencia coastline. The
coastal resort of Benidorm, the charming Alicante - to the
south of Valencia - and Balearic Islands - east of Valencia
- including the island of Ibiza with its 50 beaches, offers
more than one would expect from a beach tourist destination.

How to Reverse Type 2 Diabetes and Insulin Resistance in 5
Simple Steps

In my last article about diabetes, I explained which tests you
need to determine whether you've got diabetes or pre-diabetes.

Now I'm going to share with you my top advice for preventing --
and reversing -- these conditions.

Eating Well

The foods you eat can have huge effects on your health. Eating
the right foods will balance your blood sugar, reduce
inflammation and oxidative stress, and improve liver
detoxification -- all of which help prevent and reverse insulin
resistance and diabetes.

In general, you should follow a whole-foods diet that contains
plenty of anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and detoxifying foods.

Here are more details.

When to Eat:

•Eat protein for breakfast every day
•Eat something every 4 hours to balance blood sugar
•Eat small protein snacks in the morning and afternoon
•Finish eating at least 2 to 3 hours before bed

How to Eat:

•Control the glycemic load of your meals by combining protein,
fats, and whole-food carbohydrates at every meal or snack

What to Eat:

•Organic produce and animal products

•High-quality protein, such as fish and shellfish

•Cold-water fish such as salmon, halibut, and sable, which
contain omega-3 oils that reduce inflammation

•Up to eight omega-3 eggs a week

•Low-glycemic legumes such as lentils, chickpeas, and soybeans

•Fresh fruits (berries, cherries, peaches, plums, rhubarb,
pears, and apples are optimal) and vegetables (including
low-glycemic vegetables like asparagus, broccoli, kale, spinach,
cabbage, and Brussels sprouts)

•Detoxifying foods such as cruciferous vegetables, green tea,
watercress, dandelion greens, cilantro, artichokes, garlic,
citrus peels, pomegranate, and even cocoa

•Herbs such as rosemary, ginger, and turmeric

•Garlic and onions

•30 to 50 grams of fiber a day, especially soluble or viscous
fiber (legumes, nuts, seeds, whole grains, vegetables, and
fruit)

•Extra-virgin olive oil

•Soy products such as soymilk, soybeans, and tofu

•Nuts and seeds, including raw walnuts, almonds, macadamia
nuts, and pumpkin and flax seeds

•Chocolate that contains 70 percent cocoa (up to 2 to 3 ounces
a day)

What Not to Eat:

•All processed or junk foods

•Foods containing refined white flour and sugar, such as
breads, cereals (cornflakes, Frosted Flakes, puffed wheat, and
sweetened granola), flour-based pastas, bagels, and pastries

•All foods containing high-fructose corn syrup

•All artificial sweeteners and caffeine

•Starchy, high-glycemic cooked vegetables, such as potatoes,
corn, and root vegetables such as rutabagas, parsnips, and
turnips

•Processed fruit juices

•Processed canned vegetables

•Foods containing hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils

•Processed oils such as corn, safflower, sunflower, peanut, and
canola

•Red meats (unless organic or grass-fed) and organ meats

•Large predatory fish and river fish, which contain mercury and
other contaminants in unacceptable amounts

•Dairy

•No more than 3 glasses of red wine per week

Keep Moving

By targeting belly fat, regular exercise can improve insulin
sensitivity, prevent and even reverse diabetes, and reduce the
risk of complications.

Start with 30 minutes of walking every day. You may need to do
sustained aerobic exercise for up to an hour 5 to 6 times a week
to control full-blown diabetes. Add interval training (described
in UltraMetabolism) and strength training to improve metabolism
even more.

Supplements

I recommend a number of different supplements for insulin
resistance and diabetes, depending on the severity of the
problem:

1.A multivitamin and mineral.
2.Calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D.
3.Fish oil (1,000 to 4,000 mg)
4.Chromium (500 to 1,000 mcg day)
5.Antioxidants (such as vitamins C and E)
6.Extra vitamin B6 (50 to 150 mg a day) and B12 (1,000 to 3,000
mcg) to protect against diabetic neuropathy or nerve damage.
7.Biotin (2,000 to 4,000 mcg a day)
8.Alpha-lipoic acid (300 mg twice a day)
9.Evening primrose oil (500 to 1,000 mg twice a day)
10.One to two 500 mg tablets of cinnamon twice a day
11.Other herbs and supplements that can be helpful include
green tea, ginseng, bitter melon, gymnema, bilberry, ginkgo,
onions, and garlic
12.Banaba leaf (Lagerstroemia speciosa); 24 mg twice a day
13.Konjac fiber, four capsules 10 minutes before meals with a
glass of water

Stress Management

Stress triggers insulin resistance, promotes belly fat,
increases inflammation, and can cause diabetes. Practice
relaxation techniques, like yoga, breathing, and meditation,
regularly.

Medications

A number of medications may be helpful for diabetes. The main
classes include:

•Biguanides, especially metformin (Glucophage). They can help
improve insulin sensitivity.

•Thiazolidinediones, including rosiglutazone (Avandia) and
pioglitazone (Actos). They can help increase insulin sensitivity
but can cause weight gain and liver damage.

•Alpha-glucosidase inhibitors, which include acarbose and
miglitol, can help lower the absorption of sugar and
carbohydrates in the intestines.

Older medications include sulfonylureas include glipizide,
glyburide, and glimepiride. I don't recommend them: They only
reduce your sugar temporarily and actually worsen diabetes over
time. Plus, they increase the risk of heart attacks.

Insulin is your last resort and can cause weight gain and
increased cholesterol and blood pressure. Many patients can get
off insulin entirely if they are treated early and aggressively
with lifestyle changes.

Remember, diabetes is completely preventable and often
reversible.

And you don't need to limit your efforts to medication or
insulin. Start making the lifestyle changes I've described here,
and you should see quick and dramatic results.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
I have been an aspiring musician for thirty years. Recently I
had an interesting musical experience which has profoundly
affected my business.

One experience that I would suggest to all is to lead an
orchestra. I got one such opportunity and realized the value.
Quite naturally, I had my doubts about my `performance'. I
wondered if I could lead correctly and would I get a response at
all. And if somebody did respond, what would be the response. If
I did appear foolish, how then would I expect others to follow?
My orchestra was a group of conference participants sitting in
to hone their leadership skills.

But surprise of surprises, I did look foolish, although by
intent. But foolish enough to inspire the participants to do
exceedingly well in their first ever stint as conductors. This
set the stage and tone for the leadership workshop. When some
joked that mine was an easy act to follow, I knew my job was
done. With the music in the background, I started passing the
baton, quite randomly, so that the participant could experience
"Leadership". This caught many by surprise but did get them to
perform their stint as a conductor. Each `conductor' performed
his stint and passed on the baton to another and took his seat.
I was certainly glad to note that each participant responded to
the different styles of the leadership. They clapped,
participated and even soloed in response to each new conductor.

In the debrief session that followed, it became abundantly
clear that we had all learnt a great deal from this orchestra
session:

- No one style is right. There are many approaches and styles
to leadership. Style is driven by talent and hence the gains and
goals of leadership.

- Besides, the leadership style is also dependent on the type
of score of the soundtrack or the script that one is required to
follow

- One's leadership style may be influenced by the conductor or
conducting style that one has begun to like. An interesting
aspect in this was that each participant realized how different
the view is from the audience as opposed to the conductor's view
of an orchestra. It was a different experience to conduct.
Participants, upon returning to their seats, better appreciated
the degree of difficulty, the risk, the roles and responsibility
of conducting i.e. leadership. Those that managed to weave
together the brass with the strings and the percussion provided
the best performance. This was a reflection of how each leader
was able to identify and gel the strengths of each musician and
hence make some great music. The questions that will determine
your own ability to lead an orchestra are:

- Are you able to lead the group well?

- How well do you connect with the different temperaments of
your orchestra? Are you able to identify the quiet ones from the
boisterous, the soloist from the quartets, and the steady back
bones from the one-act types?

- How well do you appreciate the various strengths of your
orchestra? Does the unconscious trump the self conscious? The
best performances were elicited when each conductor stopped
being self conscious. Conductors stopped being self conscious
the moment their attention shifted from how they looked to how
to get the best out of the ensemble. Each of the participants
did realize that the role of the leader changed as the music
changed. Each learnt to learn and adapt from those before and
those who lead later. It was the brave and the expressive that
got the encores and bravos from the followers.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
'If you do something once, people will call it an accident. If
you do it twice, they call it a coincidence. But do it a third
time and you've just proven a natural law.' ~Grace Hopper

Many people take life at face value. A leak springs up they fix
it. A door falls off the hinges, they fix it. A lawn mower
breaks, they fix it - or buy a new one.

But did you ever stop to think there might be something more to
these happenings than meets the eye?

In the past, I admit, I viewed many things that occurred to me
as inconvenient and frustrating - especially if it meant I had
to take some sort of action.

It's also true to say that I never saw events unfolding in my
life as having any particular point. They happened, I offered as
little response as possible, and never even blinked at the
possibility that any event unfolding in my life might have a
more significant meaningful.

For a long time I was comfortable with life happening to me and
me getting by. But in truth, my comfort had many discomforts. In
fact, my comfort was intensely uncomfortable at times.

Over time, I came to realized that everything that occurs to us
occurs to provides us with opportunity.

How does this work?

We can either accept what happens and grow, or resist it. The
choice we make determines who we choose to be in that moment.
Who we choose to be determines what happens next - whether we
move on or get a more intense experience of the same pattern.

Does this mean pain?

No, not always. In fact, I was in a City amongst five million
people, when I saw someone who helped me slot things into place.

I'd just been through a relationship break-up when I began to
see how masterfully life is weaved around us to meet our needs.

Within one week this what happened to me: first, an old
girlfriend from work contacted me through Friends Reunited.
Second, I bumped into a girl I dated at college. Then I heard
from a childhood sweat heart.

The speed and the synchronicity of this all happening left me
flabbergasted. But then something else happened.

In the City a few days later, I lost my bearings and somehow
found myself standing outside the Tower of London. It was an
awesome day and the sun was shining, so I took in the view. And
that was when it happened.

A voice from my past, a haughty, know-it-all voice came up from
behind me. She was on her mobile phone, luggage in tow and not
caring who knew the stewardess on the flight from New York had
been mean to her.

I stepped back and let her pass, my mouth fell open and then I
laughed. What in goodness name was going on?

Four people I'd dated within a week had, even if only for a
moment, flitted in and out of my life. This had to have some
significance.

I had to understand it.

A friend of mine, who'd read the Celestine Prophecy and
sometime behaves a bit sage-like said, 'It's obvious! You need
to take a look at your past relationships. Maybe take note of
what you liked and what you didn't like in each of them, so you
can stop making mistakes like your last one.' Or words to that
effect.

This is exactly what I did. And ever since then, I've taken
note of things with reoccurring patterns happening.

In terms of building up your awareness and turning your
difficulties into gold, there is nothing more worthwhile than
becoming aware of the patterns forming in your life.

The quote at the top of this article has much truth in it. I
believe when something happens it happens for a reason. If it
happens twice I should really start to consider what I must do.
If it happens a third time, there is a clear patterns occurring,
and if I don't like the pattern, I need to take action to change
it.

TIP

Ask yourself: what is a reoccurring pattern in your life:
People pulling out onto the road in front of you and driving
slowly, taking wrong turnings, arguments, people complimenting
you on something you're good at and encouraging you to pursue a

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Mawlana Jalalud-din Rumi, is one of the most universal of
Islamic Saints, poet, humanists, jurist, and theologian is 800
years old. With this article I would like to explain briefly
some general information about his works, ideas and about the
man himself.

2007 is the 800th anniversary of the birth of Mawlana Jalal
ud-din Rumi, the great humanist, mystic, poet and theologian.
Upon a proposal by Culture and Tourism Ministry of Turkey, the
year 2007 was proposed as the "International Rumi year" to
UNESCO. UNESCO issued a medal in his name in association with
the 800th anniversary of his birth. This is intended to
commemorate Rumi's 800th birthday anniversary which was
celebrated all over the world.

Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi was born in 1207 in Balkh, presently
Afghanistan. At the age of 21, Rumi settled in the "Turkish
Seljuk Empire" where he lived most of his life until he died in
Konya , Turkey on 17 December 1273.

He remains one of the greatest thinkers and scholars of islamic
civilization. He addressed humanity as a whole : "I do not
distinguish between the relative and the stranger."

The world of Mawlana is not exclusive, but is rather the
highest state of a human being – namely, a fully evolved human.
He offends no one and includes everyone, as a perfect human
being who is in search of love, truth and the unity of the human
soul.

Mawlana's very broad appeal, highly advanced thinking, humanism
and open heart and mind may derive from his genuinely
cosmopolitan character, as during his lifetime he enjoyed
exceptionally good relations with people of diverse social,
cultural and religious backgrounds. Mawlana was familiar with
the core message of all of them and therefore was appreciated by
believers of many religions. Most of those scholars who have
studied Mawlana admit that there was no more beautiful tribute
to Mawlana's universality than his funeral, a 40-day marathon of
grieving attended by distraught and weeping Muslims, Christians,
Jews, Hindus, Buddhists and Zoroastrians who mourned in such a
manner that one would have believed that Mawlana belonged to
each one of them.

He produced five major works of verse and prose. His six-volume
poem Masnav-i Manavi (Spiritual Couplets) is considered to be
his major work. Divan-ı Kebir (the Great Divan), another
work of verse. Fihi Ma Fih (In What's in it) contains his
conversations with the people and his disciples. Majlis-i Sab'a
(Seven Sessions), cover his Sermons and Mektubat (letters)
compiles his 147 letters to "Seljuk Sultans " and prominent
personalities of the time.

"In generosity and helping others be like a river
In compassion and grace be like the sun
In concealing other's faults be like a night
In anger and fury be like the dead
In modesty and humility be like the earth
In tolerance be like a sea
Either exist as you are or be as you look "

In their passion, honesty, and gorgeous imagery, the writings
of Mawlana have become a means of connecting directly with the
Divine. His works, thoughts and teachings bear supreme witness,
in a manner transcending all national, cultural and
civilizational boundaries, to the sweet mysteries of divine
truth. His religious thought and understanding is an exemplary
manifestation of a transcendental school of the divine message.

"Come!.. Whatever you may be, come no matter what…
Whether you are an infidel, a fire worshipper or an idolater…
Whether you have foresworn a hundred times,
Whether a hundred times you have broken your oath…
This door here is no door for despair;
Come as you are !"

The main theme and message of Rumi's thoughts and teachings is
the love of God and his creatures. The focus of his philosophy
is humanity and his objective is to achieve and to help others
reach the state of perfect human being . He founded the Mevlevi
mystic order, commonly known as the "whirling dervishes" and
created the Sema rite, a ritualistic sacred dance to
symbolically seek the divine truth and maturity. Rumi's message
and teachings continue to inspire people from all religions and
cultures today and show us how to live together in peace and
harmony.

It is significant that Mevlevi Sema Ceremony was proclaimed by
the UNESCO as a "Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage
of Humanity" in 2005. In other words, Sema ceremony, symbolic
and unique expression of the Rumi's teachings is listed among
the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

In recognition of the conformity of Rumi's message with the
objectives and mission of UNESCO, upon the proposal by Turkey
together with Afghanistan and Egypt, the 33rd UNESCO General
Conference decided to associate UNESCO with celebrations of the
800th anniversary of the birth of Rumi in 2007. A commemorative
medal was also issued by UNESCO on the same occasion.

In June and September 2007 Turkey, Afghanistan and Iran jointly
celebrated the occasion at the UN and UNESCO Headquarters in New
York and Paris, respectively, with a series of events comprising
a programme including a panel discussion, "Sema Ceremony"and an
exhibition on the vision and works of Rumi.

Additionally the Turkish Government hosted an International
Symposium on Rumi from 8-12 May 2007 in Istanbul and Konya where
hundreds of prominent personalities, academics, researchers who
has the expertise on Rumi's philosophy gathered together and
shared their knowledge.

A special programme of mystic Mevlevi music, Sema ceremonies by
the whirling dervishes, lectures and exhibitions were held in a
number of major cities in Turkey and around the world. A
commemorative stamp and a commemorative coin was issued for the
same occasion by the Turkish Postal Administration.

Rumi's vision and message of love, peace and harmony among
humanity has never been more relevant. The 800th anniversary of
his birth in 2007, grants us the opportunity to remember and
practice this vision and message.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
If you have a gout attack, coffee may be beneficial, but to
more effectively treat gout and stop it from occurring, you need
to learn how to successfully stick with gout reducing diets. The
following are 5 different tips on how you can create a diet plan
that will work for you:

Tip 1 - Know what foods to avoid and what foods to welcome into
your diet. The goal of any gout prevention diet is to stay away
from foods that increase uric acid levels, which increase your
risk of a gout attack, and stick with those that keep uric acid
levels under control. Make a list of foods to avoid, as well as
a list of friendly foods, and keep these lists posted on your
fridge, and in your organizer/planner, so you'll never be
without them come mealtime, and when making an effective grocery
list. Below are two brief lists:

Foods to avoid:

All alcoholic beverages
Yeast
Red meat
Organ meat (hearts, kidneys, liver, etc.)
Turkey
Meat extracts
Gravies
Anchovies,
Fish roes
Herring,
Mussels
Scallops
Legumes (peas, dried beans, etc.)
Spinach
Asparagus
Cauliflower
Mushrooms
Sweetbreads

Beneficial foods:

Complex carbohydrates (bread, pasta, rice, cereal, etc.)
Dark berries (black berries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.)
Cherries
Bananas
Oranges
Pineapple
Tomatoes
Kale
Cabbage
Parsley
Tofu
Salmon
Flax and flax oil
Olive oil
Water
Fruit juices
Coffee/tea

Tip 2 – Eat a balanced diet – Knowing what foods to limit and
increase in your diet will help to prevent a gout attack, but
it's still important to remain healthy by making sure you're
feeding your body a balanced diet. A balanced diet for gout –
according to the American Medical Association - is one that is:

Low in protein - it is recommended that as much as 15% of
calorie intake be from sources such as soy, poultry and lean
meats, while a maximum of 30% of calories should be from fat.

High in complex carbohydrates (I.E. fruits, vegetables and
whole grains)

As a general rule of thumb, it's a good idea to eat more
frequent and smaller meals than fewer larger meals. This will
not only help you better digest your food; it also allows you to
limit your portion sizes. This way, you can ensure that the
protein portion of your meal is always the smallest.

Tip 3 - Plan your meals ahead of time – Planning your meals
helps to strengthen your will power when it comes to making food
choices. By planning your meals ahead of time, you will avoid
giving into your craving for purine-rich foods, which is more
likely to occur when you are hungry and haven't thought about
what you are going to eat. For this reason, it is very important
that you take the time to prepare yourself a lunch/dinner for
work ahead of time, so you don't continuously eat out, as most
restaurants don't offer menus with meals that prevent a gout
attack.

Tip 4 –Know how to make substitutions when eating out –
Everyone eats out from time to time, and just because you are
prone to gout shouldn't stop you from this enjoyment. Of course,
this doesn't mean you should indulge in any food offered on the
menu. When it comes to eating out, you need to learn how to
substitute food to save yourself from a gout attack, while still
tantalising your taste buds. Here are a few suggestions:

Appetizer – Instead of mussels try garlic bread or a veggie
salad (Note: make sure to eliminate any veggies that are not
conducive to a gout diet)

Entr̩e РInstead of steak have salmon with rice or a vegetarian
dish

Dessert – Instead of cappuccino and cheesecake, go for a cup of
tea/coffee and a fruit bowl

Tip 5 – Create and discover different gout recipes – Eating the
same foods over and over again, or preparing meals the same way,
becomes extremely boring and downright depressing after awhile.
The last thing you want to do is not look forward to eating,
because skipping meals or reverting back to an unhealthy and
purine-rich diet will only bring back the gout attack. Take
some time to look into gout reducing diets and recipes or
started creating some of your own recipes.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
It's kind of a law of nature: your computer slows down over
time even though nothing seems to have changed. This has been
happening to computers over the years and early on, it was
probably kind of true. But in reality nowadays it's not your
computer getting slower, it's all the stuff that gets added to
it when you install software or even just save or delete a file.

After all, you current computer is probably not that old. It's
likely running XP or Vista. Why should you spend hundreds of
dollars replacing it, especially when you know deep down that it
will only start slowing down again as soon as you've bought a
new PC.

So how to make your computer faster again without buying a new
machine? What can you do to breathe some life into your computer
and make it a joy to use again?

Firstly, check how much memory your machine has. Windows always
has liked to use lots of memory and modern operating systems
like XP and Vista are especially greedy. If your machine has
less than 2Gb of RAM memory, it's time to treat it and you to
more. No matter what the "in your dreams" minimum requirements
there were on the box of the operating system.

Upgrading your memory to this level will make near enough
everything on your computer run faster. If Windows doesn't have
enough memory to work with, it will use space on your hard disk
as an alternative. But hard disks are lots, lots slower than
regular memory. Swapping information to your hard drive takes a
lot longer than switching it around in memory.

A memory upgrade is simple enough to do yourself - there are
plenty of tutorials online to show you how - or your local
computer store will be happy to help you for a small fee. The
whole operation should be over quickly - it will probably take
you longer to unscrew the screws on the case than it will to
upgrade the RAM. It's then a matter of earthing yourself (touch
a water pipe, for instance) so you don't suddenly jab your
machine with static electricity. Then just add the extra RAM in
the slots that are almost certainly sitting vacant.

If it's only print jobs that are running slow, do the same
treatment for your printer if it's possible. Color lasers
especially will appreciate any extra memory you give them and
will allow Windows to pass them across more of the printing job,
freeing up your machine for other tasks. Putting extra memory in
your printer works much the same way as adding it to your main
computer. I've done this to printers in the past and they've
really appreciated it – their print performance came right up to
the advertised pages per minute speed rather than the speed
you'd expect from an ancient dot matrix.

If that still doesn't do enough to make your computer faster,
there are other things you can try as well.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Autism diet recommendations can be many and varied. Some
experts will suggest gluten-free and casein-free diets. Gluten
is a substance found in breads and other grains and casein
appears in milk and dairy products. The belief is that some
people with autism have trouble digesting such substances,
resulting in a decreased, foggy state of consciousness.

Other autism diet suggestions include cutting out yeast and
sugars, and concentrating on consuming larger quantities of
fresh fruit and vegetables.

Each of these theories have solid research to back them up, but
while adults may be able to make dietary decisions for their
children, it is not always as easily applied as they may wish.

Kids are still kids whether they have autism or not! They have
individual tastes, and will prefer some foods to others. It is
not always easy to remove the foods that they enjoy, and
introduce those that don't typically appeal.

So the following are practical tips for parents who are aiming
to introduce a healthy autism diet.

Turn it into finger food. Some small children can be more
likely to eat something when they know what's in it, and often
enjoy vegetables raw rather than cooked. A healthy diet should
include generous servings of vegetables in at least two meals a
day so try slicing up a selection of vegetables like carrots,
broccoli and sweet red pepper into little sticks and serve them
plain or with a dip for dunking.

Offer berries. Almost all types of berries are nutritious and
rich in antioxidants so keep strawberries, blueberries,
raspberries – and any other berries that you can find and that
your child enjoys – on hand for snacks. They can satisfy a sweet
tooth and don't break the rules of most autism diets.

Sugar-free sweetening. You can still give your kids sweet
things without loading them down with sugar. Stevia can be an
effective solution for this problem. Readily available in health
food stores, Stevia is a South American herb that's sweeter than
sugar and is an excellent alternative, as long as it is used in
moderation. In most autism diets, other sweetening agents –
sugar, honey, molasses, maple syrup, jelly etc – should be kept
to an absolute minimum. Stevia can be used in many of a child's
favorite recipes such as in lemonade and cookies.

Use supplements. If you are worried that your child's diet
isn't giving them all the nutrition they need, speak to your
doctor or naturopath about supplements. When kids are off dairy
products, they may need calcium, magnesium and Vitamin D. Enzyme
supplements can help aid digestion. And there are a host of
other beneficial supplements from fish oil to amino acids,
Vitamin B12 to calcium, magnesium and zinc. Many come in
child-friendly chewable forms but always check with a health
expert first, as many of these chewable vitamins come with a
high dose of sugar.

As with any dietary change, make certain that any decisions
made are discussed with a qualified doctor, first.

All pet dogs should be treated as members of our family and
adequate attention must be paid to the canine's health.
Sometimes dogs become sick but may not look so. It is very
important to recognize and understand dog illnesses symptoms.

Since prevention is a better cure, we must learn something
about dog illnesses and symptoms so we can better understand
their conditions. This will help us recognize some common dog
illnesses. If appropriate and adequate vaccinations are
administered to the puppies, most of the common dog illnesses
can be easily prevented.

Some elementary observations are useful to recognize certain
common dog illnesses. Dogs take a lot of sleep but their sleep
is marked by alertness. If a dog is sluggish then there may be
various causes contributing to it, right from anemia to old age.
If the dog is limping then you should check for prospective
painful areas using a firm and yet gentile hand. Check out for
any signs indicating lameness from time to time.

The appetite of the dog is bound to be affected by ill health.
Look for any signs of loss of appetite. An important sign of dog
health problems is excessive thirst. A pronounced weight loss is
also an indicator of ill health. Check the eyes for any ulcers,
discharges, veins or sores.

The mouth of a healthy dog is pink. There should not be any
discoloring or cavities in the teeth. Look for signs of
discharge from ears. It is advisable to clean the ears from time
to time. The dog's head should be regularly checked for sore
patches, hair loss, or deep wounds.

The two most important internet market strategies today are
using autoresponders and survey programs with your promotional
activities, according to "Autoresponder Renaissance," by Paul
Soltoff of *The ClickZ Network. ClickZ is a large resource of
interactive marketing research, news and other helpful
information, online and off., covering technology and marketing
trends with industry experts.

Soltoff reports that his company has been using autoresponders
for a long time as an important part of their sales and
marketing systems. And he notes that today's autoresponders even
offer a new way to combat violating spam laws that online
marketers continually have to face. Plus when used creatively,
like with popular survey programs, for instance, he says that
autoresponders even boast new response methods, further opening
lines of communications between businesses and prospects from a
variety of advertising channels, including email.

Hence autoresponders are bound to make professional lives and a
variety of business activities easier and more hassle-free. In
fact, features to consider while selecting an autoresponder
include:

• RSS-ability: any message in the autoresponder can be
delivered via RSS. Your autoresponder can give you a subscriber
option for receiving messages by emails or RSS.

• Offer choices: Your autoresponder system must understand your
customers and it must alter your replies according to precise
needs of the customer.

• Make offers: your autoresponder should make offers according
to the customers' interests.

• Deliverability: your autoresponders must help you develop
multiple lists to serve your varied purposes.

• Split testing: It must also help you perform split mailings.

• Automation: your set up must automatically generate
`subscription forms' with point and click ease.

Find these features and many more by searching online for
popular autoresponders. Or head to one site with all the bells
and whistles called SurveySponder.

Conversational hypnosis sounds easy: talk to someone and "pow!"
they're hypnotized. Just like you see happen on television with
hypnosis stage shows, except you're doing the hypnotizing in
real life with real people.

Well, although it's fairly easy to slot hypnotic commands into
your everyday conversations, you'll still need to practice a
little bit. Sorry. The good news is that – like everything in
life – the more you practice, the better you'll get. And your
practice can be done on real people, so you'll get to know
what's working for you and what isn't.

So the good news is that this practice can be while you're
learning. So long as you don't sound too stilted when you're
talking to someone, they probably won't know that you are doing
your best to hypnotize them. So if it doesn't work out, that's
fine. You'll know that what you were experimenting with didn't
work but they won't. So it's a win-win situation: when your
trials work out, that's great and when they don't go as well as
expected, that's fine too. Think about it, you didn't learn to
walk or ride a bike or drive a car instantly. It took time and
practice. This is the same.

It's usually best to build up some kind of rapport with the
person you are hypnotizing. So don't just start your chat with
something like "go into trance now". Instead, make sure you're
both comfortable talking with each other. Nothing too heavy, but
enough that you're chatting fairly normally. You can research
rapport building elsewhere but essentially it's just a fancy
name for getting "in synch" with the other person and not
getting their back up.

Then you need to induce some kind of hypnotic trance. One of
the easiest ways of doing this is to get the other person to
imagine a place or an event. If you know they've just been away
on vacation this is quite easy. If you've shared past
experiences, the same goes. If not, pick something likely to
have happened in the recent past - their journey to work, a
television show you know they watch, that kind of thing.

Once our imagination starts working, its quite easy to throw in
some hypnotic commands and it will work on them quite happily.

Commands can be anything you want (so long as it's ethical!).
You can introduce immediacy using words like "now". "So think
back now to a time when..."

Questions work quite well for embedding commands as well: "Did
you ever think about ..."

These commands can be positive or negative - be careful what
you are saying and if possible avoid negative people who are
consciously or unconsciously giving you negative commands -
"Gee, this is like a madhouse here", "That music is like a
funeral march", that kind of thing.

Once you start becoming more conscious of the words you are
using, you'll find it becomes easier and easier to use hypnosis
in your everyday conversations.

Tips In Applying For Guaranteed Approval Credit Card
When applying for guaranteed approval credit cards for bad
credit, the application process is usually done online. As
the name suggests, these type of credit cards give instant
approval and are especially designed for people who are
suffering from bad credit. Perhaps you've received offers
for instant approval bad credit cards from your e-mail. For
those with bad credit, it is easy to get enticed by these
offers. But before you go and sign up, check out these tips:

1. Don't make decisions hastily.

Don't be tempted with the first guaranteed approval offer
that comes your way. Before you make any decisions to
apply, be sure that you've checked all your options first
and that you've chosen the one that best matches your
needs. Take the time to compare between different
guaranteed approval credit cards in the market. Check out
their application procedures, rates, do they submit to the
credit bureaus, will they give you a better rate after a
period of time with good payment history.

2. Don't submit too many applications.

Don't send out several applications to different guaranteed
approval credit cards at once. This will only damage your
credit further. Too many inquiries on your credit report
will have a negative impact on your rating. Even worse, if
a lender looks at all the inquires and sees that no one
approved you (no new credit lines from the inquiring
lenders) they will deem you an even bigger credit risk.

3. Prepare a repayment plan.

If you do get approved, have you created a definite and
effective repayment plan? Don't go into a situation
unprepared. The important thing to remember as a credit
card holder is to keep up with your bills regardless of the
type of credit card you use. Will your monthly salary allow
you to pay additional expenses or is it more practical to
work on improving your credit first before getting a credit
card?

4. Consider other options.

Aside from getting a bad credit credit card, another tool
that can help you improve your credit score is to get a
department store card or a gas station card. These cards
are easier to obtain and work similar as a credit card. The
difference is that you'll have to pay your balance by the
end of the month and you're not allowed to carry over
balances for the next billing cycle. Nevertheless, this
requirement will help you keep expenses under control and
keep your payments on time.

5. Be determined to pay off your balances completely.

If you're really decided on owning a bad credit credit
card, be determined to keep up with your obligations to
pay. Don't let anything keep you from submitting your
payment on time. Avoid carrying over balances. Be
consistently aware of your payment schedules.

6. Read before signing.

Again, take your time in reading every statement in your
credit card's terms and conditions page. Make sure that you
understand everything clearly. If you have questions, don't
hesitate to call the bank and talk to representative. It is
very important to be sure that there are no vague clauses
or hidden charges in your card.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Self confidence is not only an important phrase but the life
mantra for all, especially for students. The stressful and
competitive academic studies of today do not give the students
time enough to develop their qualities and build a strong
personality. The studies do not give them any practical
knowledge or impart them important skills that would help them
in future in building their careers. The theoretical knowledge
imparted at schools is nothing more than mere words that they
are mugging up for getting excellent grades in exams. These
words are soon forgotten as soon as the exams are over and what
is left is an unlearned mind. What students need is practical
knowledge to help improve their mental capabilities, build
career skills and other skills for building their careers. These
will further build their self confidence and help them in their
self development.

Students should be encouraged to undertake games and project
works that will help involve not only their physical skills but
also help them utilize their mental abilities. Project works
done in groups encourage students to work with each other like a
team and develop patience towards other people. Students that
are usually scolded in classes for being naughty and playing
pranks on teachers and classmates can be helped through such
activities. Their energies can be utilized in constructive
works, which will divert them from other destructive activities.
It is said that only a person with a sharp intelligence can
cheat others. Naughty students have sharp brains that should be
molded to develop career skills. Their creative thinking that
they utilize in cooking up new pranks can be used in creating
good sportsmen, singers, painters or actors. Many schools have
sports periods in junior classes that not only help students in
momentarily escaping from their hectic academic schedules but
also utilize their physical energies and thus stay healthy and
fit. Students should participate in extra-curricular activities
like debates, creative writing competitions, plays, singing and
dance competitions, etc. Such activities help in developing
their self confidence and also their speaking skills or their
ability to present themselves in public. Such students are more
efficient in dealing with others as adults and usually end up
making great team leaders.

Students in early adolescence usually lack self confidence.
They are in a fragile phase of their lives where the responses
they get from the society, family and friends confuse them,
making it difficult for them to distinguish between right and
wrong. They are neither adults nor children any more. The peer
pressure forces them to experiment extreme things whereas the
parents want them to wait since they are still children. At the
same time the parents want them to behave responsibly like grown
ups. Especially at this stage students should be encouraged to
indulge in creative activities that would divert their thinking
and help them in developing their skills. The energy pent up in
adolescent minds can force them to indulge in anti-social
activities, thus creating the criminals of tomorrow. They should
be encouraged to take up summer jobs, some kind of coaching or
training, workshops or help their parents in household works.
Parents should treat them like friends and allow them to not
only participate in family discussions but also give advice.
This will not only help boost their morals but also help them in
developing a distinction between right and wrong. So for an all
round development of a student and for making him/her a better
individual, it is necessary to combine studies with activities
that will help them in enhancing their skills and abilities and
thus improve their proficiency. Live the true life!

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Although I find it always desirable to hear two or more
opinions on a matter, it is very strange to read or hear the
global warming skeptics preach their doubt. Of course some
estimations can be inaccurate or exaggerated in some cases, but
to doubt the whole phenomenon is a willful ignorance for some
other motives than search for truth.

Some skeptics would be quick to imply that what the doubt is
about is actually a causal connection between human activity and
global warming. Although this sounds like a less irrational type
of skepticism, it is still extremely problematic for many
reasons. As is widely known, the findings of Intergovernmental
Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) on global warming state that the
probability that changes in the climate system are a result of
man made increases in atmospheric greenhouse gases (GHG)
concentrations is "very likely larger than 90%". It is to this
claim the eco-skeptics object, many of them claiming this
probability is less than 50%.

Now, of course any government or scientist can be wrong. But
even without going into the scientific details of the debate,
which convince a vast majority of experts in the world that the
influence of human element in global warming is indeed beyond
reasonable doubt, one can have very good reasons to disregard
the claims of the skeptics. Let me state some of these from a
"lay" perspective.

First is a very strong degree of agreement among scientists.
The report was revised line-by-line, scrutinized by 600 authors,
620 expert reviewers and 113 governments and their teams, not to
mention thousands of other scientists around the world who
endorse the claims in it. Studied by some of the finest minds in
the world, it was approved by vast number of countries,
irrespective of their political ideology, economic development
or cultural norms. The report is a definitive review of all the
available evidence. So, in this case, the very scope of the
consensus is a good argument from the perspective of
non-experts.

Second: many governments act against their immediate interest
when accepting this report and the actions which are recommended
with it. It is a difficult task to change the policies and
systems of functioning of society. Praxis on which the very
economy of the country is based is the toughest one to tackle.
Despite that, governments and their hired experts can not but
accept the report of IPCC and many also sign their commitment to
the duties it implies.

Third: Even if the report would be wrong on any point, it still
definitely makes sense to actually go for the changes in
lifestyle and economies in order to lessen enormous human CO2
impact. Even if the threat would not be as immediate as it is
(many think it is even too late to do something about the global
warming at all), the supposed changes of lifestyle are nothing
but good in the long term anyway.

So, why this zeal for skepticism? I strongly suspect (if it is
not outright obvious), that in most cases there is a selfish
interest and determined unwillingness to change behind the
"skepticism" about the claims of the IPCC report. Also, the
attractiveness of the conspiracy theories, and a great feeling
of being in opposition or a rebel to a mainstream culture or
thinking will always be "in". So, even active eco-skepticism
should not surprise us.

Making money with residual income opportunities is a premier
way of increasing your overall online earning potential. Take a
good look online and you will be amazed to find the cornucopia
of programs currently inviting participants that offer as part
of their remuneration scheme a well thought out residual income
option.

Those looking for the cheapest and easiest programs on the
Internet today, the obvious answer are affiliate marketing
opportunities. The programs themselves are simple in execution:
assuming that you have a well maintained website that is user
friendly, search engine friendly, filled with interesting
content, and also sticky in its ability to have repeat visitor
traffic, then you will have a running start by simply signing up
for a an affiliate marketing program that complements the
content of your site and – once accepted – place a link onto
your site.

The goal is to entice your website's visitors to click the link
and then visit the merchant with whom you signed up. If the web
visitor makes a purchase, you will receive a small percentage of
the sale total. If you have a well run website, you will have a
lot of web traffic and the odds of sending a large number of
potential customers to the merchant's site will translate into a
heightened opportunity of making some serious online money by
virtue of the potential sales the merchant stands to make just
off of your link.

Since links may be graphic links, text links, or even search
box links, they are bound to fit into the overall design of your
site and do present a seemingly seamless integration. If you
sign up with a number of merchants whose products are germane to
the web content you feature, you have the opportunity to
maximize your income potential with the affiliate option.

One of the most commonly made mistakes is that of the creation
of a website for the sole purpose of making it into a dollar
mill by placing affiliate links on it. Search engines have
gotten wise to these sites and have begun to rank them rather
low, thus making them next to impossible for the web surfers to
find. In the same vein, those who do have sites with great
content sometimes go overboard by placing too many links onto a
site.

One or two may be fine, yet if the links are starting to
overwhelm the content and the message is getting lost, you will
find that you will lose a lot of the visitor interest. Remember
that your website's visitors are taking a peek at the link you
are providing because they trust you, but if you do nothing but
try to hawk a plethora of products, this trust flies out the
window and you will notice not only a sharp decline in your
online visitors, but also a decrease in the click through rate.

Focus on your site's message first and then on your affiliate
links and you will find that a complementary approach will
perhaps be the most profitiable one. In addition to the
foregoing, monitor your click through rates and ensure that the
company to which the affiliate links are leading remains
reputable and dedicated to customer service.

The Differences Between Secured Debt and Unsecured Debt
When filing for bankruptcy, it is important to consider
whether the debt you owe is a secured debt or an unsecured
debt. The court's ruling will depend on what specific type
of debt you owe to your creditors.

How does a secured debt differ from an unsecured debt? As
the name suggests, a secured debt uses a form of security
for the money owed. The security may be real estate
property such as a home or a lot. The borrower signs a
contract that agrees to surrender this property in case he
fails to pay off his dues. Thus, the security or collateral
serves as protection for the creditor against the risk of
default. The most common examples of secured debts are car
loans and mortgage loans.

On the other hand, with an unsecured debt, the borrower is
not required to submit any form of security or collateral
to his creditor. The creditor will grant a loan approval
solely based on the borrower's credit history. An unsecured
debt has a higher interest rate than secured debt because
it puts a higher risk for the lender. Usually, credit
cards, department store cards, and other similar debts are
unsecured because they are not tied up to any property.

How does your type of debt affect bankruptcy? If you're
filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, the borrower has the option to
choose whether he wants to keep his property and pay his
creditors instead or surrender his property as payment for
his debts.

In Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, the borrower is allowed to keep
his property provided that he agrees to pay back all his
debts to his creditors. The borrower will then be subjected
to new payment terms that will be arrange by his lender.
The bankruptcy court allows lenders to charge up to a 10%
interest rate to give the borrower the chance to pay back
more easily. If the borrower was paying a 15% interest on
his loan before filing for bankruptcy, the 5% less interest
will be a tremendous ease to his load. Moreover, if the
borrower's debts are less than the value of the property he
submitted as security, he has the option to make repayments
without any interest.

With an unsecured debt, if an individual has already filed
for bankruptcy, the creditor will have to stop all its
attempts to collect debts from the borrower as the ordered
by the bankruptcy court.

In some cases, the lender can file a petition to the
bankruptcy court if there is any dispute about the type of
debt owed. If the bankruptcy court denies this petition and
declares that the debts are unsecured, the lender must stop
taking any action against the borrower. If the lender
violates this rule, he will be facing punishment from the
bankruptcy court.

Clearly, understanding the type of your debts plays is very
important. As the borrower, it protects you from any
violation from your lenders and it knowing what your
options are, will enable you to decide more efficiently
with regards to your debts especially when financial
difficulties arise.

Where Do Credit Cards Come From?
The Encyclopedia Britannica defines credit as "a
transaction between two parties in which one (the creditor
or lender) supplies money, goods, services, or securities
in return for a promised future payment by the other." The
concept of credit was already used in the earliest period
of history in Assyria, Babylon and Egypt.

The use of credit card was first used in the US in 1920 by
some automobile owners who used cards to buy fuel. However,
these cards were accepted only to the establishment who
issued it. By 1938, a number of companies started to accept
each other's card.

There is an amusing story behind the origin of the first
official credit card. According to the story, in 1949 Frank
X. McNamara, head of Hamilton Credit Corporation. was
having dinner with Alfred Bloomingdale and his attorney
Ralph Schneider at the famous Major's Cabin Grill, a
restaurant beside the Empire State Building. They were
going to discuss a credit problem with one of his clients
who was unable to pay him back. At the end of the meal, Mr.
McNamara realized that he has forgotten his wallet so he
called his wife to bring him some money. From this
incident, an idea came to life. So in 1950, Diners Club was
founded and the first "multi-purpose" credit card was born.

A credit card gives its holder the privilege to make
purchases without cash and pay for it on a later date. When
a person opens a bank account, he may apply for a credit
card in order to receive a specified credit limit
equivalent to cash. The bank assigns a certain interest
rate per month, and this will be charged on the account
whenever the credit limit is exceeded or whenever there is
an unpaid balance past due.

For many people, owning a credit card has become a
lifestyle. When applying for a credit card, it is always
advisable to do extensive research on the different terms
and conditions that each bank offers. Doing so enables the
customer to choose the type of credit account that is best
suitable to his needs. It is also important to understand
all stipulations before signing up to any agreement.
Because credit cards allow for more freedom to buy, it is a
common tendency for many people to splurge and overspend,
frequently resulting with unpaid bills and increasing debt.
To avoid the misery of bad credit, one must learn how to
use his credit card wisely. It is sensible to always pay
all balances on time and to know when it is necessary to
make another purchase. Thus, owning a credit card also
involve self-discipline, modesty and good financial
management.

Clearly, credit cards play a major role in business
transactions all over the world today. It is used in almost
every business establishment around the globe. It also
dominates the world of online shopping and e-commerce.
Truly, credit cards has come a long way and it is
interesting learn how it all began.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
In this article, I will show you the different methods of puppy
training.

You probably had no idea before getting a dog the different
training methods available. Do you know which one to choose?
Before deciding on what is best for your pooch, you should know
the differences between each one.

Obedience training is probably the most widely known. With
obedience training you are essentially instructing your dog to
carry out specific activities and commands. Some of these
commands are the time-honored ones like sit, stay and heel. The
importance of obedience training is placed on quick, accurate
execution. While there may be quite a few general advantages to
obedience training, it is usually not always the "end all" for
controlling dog behavior.

Obedience trained puppies will conduct specific instructions
because their master is commanding them to do it. The reason why
some people think that obedience training is not "all that" is
because while your dog may learn some of the obedient behaviors,
that does not mean he always acts appropriately. Case in point:
some puppies are predisposed to being rescue or herding dogs.
You can teach them to sit and stay but at times their instincts
will override those obedient behaviors. That is why you
sometimes see dogs trying to "rescue" their masters when they
are swimming or a dog "herding" children who are running all
over the place (like sheep).

With behavior training, you are essentially becoming the "Miss
Manners" for the canine set. Some of the behavior training that
is included is house training, crate training and good conduct
while on a leash. Many people start on potty training when they
get a puppy. They start with spread newspapers like house
training and graduate up to leaving by doggie door to eliminate
outside. Or you might leash your dog and teach it not to pull
you around. Barking is also another behavior that is often tamed
in behavior training.

When it comes to activity training, it is exactly like its
sounds. You are instructing your dog in a variety of specific
instructions. Have you heard of the K-9 units with the police
department? What about Search and Rescue dogs? Hunters often
train their dogs to be companions and help them point out
wildlife during a hunt. Ranchers may use dogs to herd cattle.
These are all common examples of activity training. More
realistic activity training for the everyday dog owner may
include fetching a ball and bringing it back in a game of toss.
A game of Frisbee is another example. Even obstacle courses and
similar activities you might find in competition qualify as
activity training.

Be advised that there is no one way to train your dog. In fact,
many people combine the different types of training to
accomplish their goals with their dog. You might even say that
certain behaviors a dog exhibits could be solved with a combined
training effort. If you plan to be a do-it-yourself trainer,
review each aspect of training and pick and choose what you want
to concentrate on. Or, work with a trainer and outline your
goals that you want your dog to achieve.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
I spoke to an acquaintance today that came into my business. I
had been sending him a few emails over the last two months, and
he finally took more than a quick glance. He took some focused
time and perceived that he had a real opportunity in front of
him.

I firmly believe the most challenging part of our hero's
journey, are success journey, or whatever you choose to call it
- I prefer something more than life, which can sound a little
too ordinary, is time. We either spend too little time in
certain places, or too much of it in others.

Weather you have a home business and are looking at new
Internet marketing ideas to increase profits, or you're just
looking at opportunities, it takes some time, and a focused mind
to discern what it is that's right in front of you. It may be in
an article like this, or a blog, or an email, and as much as we
want success, and say we're open to the opportunity for it, many
of us pass them right by.

I asked this person who came into my business, why now. He
admitted that he had seen something about the business before,
and saw my email and didn't TAKE the time. Then his mind told
him he was probably late to the party.

We all live in such a fishbowl. It's a great big world and to
think you're late in getting into a business is silly;
especially when the numbers of people looking at an online
business are increasing due to the economy, job uncertainty, or
people tired of jumping through all the demanding job hoops
everyday. Many people want to win on their own terms.

An acronym for win could be: What's Important Now

That idea will help focus you and your priorities. As time
moves, priorities change. People in Internet businesses, and in
their personal lives, juggle their priorities on a regular
basis, and with the clock ticking, seldom do any of us achieve
everything on our list of things to do because of priority
shifts.

Shifting a priority can be obvious and necessary. If you work
at home and suddenly your internet service shuts down,
everything else then takes a lower place on your list of
priorities. Other things are less obvious; a slight values
shift, time collapsing on itself, and onto you. Keep the acronym
WIN in the front of your mind.

Your values are what describe you. They shouldn't change,
regardless of the current situation. Despite the promise of
extra income with a home based business, you won't compromise
your values. The money would certainly help eliminate some other
priorities, but compromising your values would be tantamount to
compromising who you are.

When I say WIN, I don't mean win at any cost. I mean, what's
important now. Helping someone may be most important now. I look
forward to helping others. One, it takes my attention off of me
for awhile (what a vacation that is), and two, I know you
shouldn't get a feeling helping someone, that's not the reason
to offer help, though between you and me, it adds a kind of ease
and grace to the rest of my day after I've assisted someone.

It can be a tightrope walk on adjusting priorities. When an
online opportunity appears, jot down some notes about it for
yourself. I can't tell you how many people come into my business
months after they found my marketing online. It's often that
they didn't take constructive time.

If you take some notes, jot impressions you have of the new
business opportunity, later, doubt will have a harder time
working on you. Success journeys require some tough decision
making, some backbone, and an upbeat, positive mindset.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Busy people live their lives according to their diaries which
is effective and efficient. Yet for some reason, often when
starting an exercise program they won't book themselves in.
Rather they will simply decide to exercise and sure enough
because that's what they want to do, they will set out and
begin. The problem is though that they are busy people and as
such `life' gets in the way of their exercise very quickly.
Booking themselves for exercise is a key practice that serves to
minimize the various disruptions to the kind of consistency
required to achieve significant muscle gain and fat loss for a
better body.

It is important in a couple of ways. First of all it creates a
tangible and subconscious importance for the exercise session
and as such, it is given due consideration when arranging all
other affairs as opposed to always being the first thing to be
sacrificed for other priorities. This small step can make an
amazing difference to a person's consistency. Simply by giving
the time required to create a better body at bare minimum an
equal footing, people get smarter and think laterally and design
their lives to be able to meet this new commitment. Of course
there will still be scheduling conflicts (though far less). In
these cases though, diarizing exercise alongside everything else
again makes people solution focused and sharpens their
organization in order to be able to make it possible to meet
both objectives should a conflict arise. Exercise becomes part
of the priority hierarchy and over time, may even move up the
list. This means that the busy person willingly increases their
commitment to exercise and will muscle gain and fat loss results
faster but most importantly, they will do so in a stress free
manner because exercise is balanced against all their other life
priorities.

The second key once time has been `created' for exercise is to
maximize it. Does any high achiever settle for second best? Do
they haphazardly attack challenges without a sound strategic
understanding of various cause and effect relationships so that
they can navigate a course of action that will allow them to
achieve success in the most effective and efficient way
possible? For busy people who want to maximize lean muscle gain
and fat loss, knowing the exact specifics of the entire process
is critical. By understanding how the body responds to food and
training will keep you on the most productive path possible. Yet
so many simply seek training methods and adopt them without any
idea if they are sound because they have no objective framework
with which to evaluate them. The exact same goes for various
crazy diets people try. If you don't understand how food works
in the body of course any option, especially if it is hyped up
my slick advertising, sounds plausible.

In terms of acquiring this knowledge, there is good news and
bad news. The bad news is that the actual truth of this
information can be a little hard to find. There are countless
sources of misinformation and agenda based pseudo science to
push certain viewpoints and products. At best even when you find
solid information, there are some conflicting arguments that are
equally valid, where only trial and error can determine the best
approach. The good news is that once you find a good source of
information - the truth about what the people who live with the
lean muscular bodies that they desire really do it is actually
reasonably easy to understand and achieve an excellent working
understanding of it all. With someone who really knows what they
are doing and sources of honest truth in your corner, it is no
exaggeration to say that your comprehension of nutrition and
training will outstrip many people in the fitness industry in
about a month or even less.

In very simple terms, the second foundation is: Find out and
understand the nutrition and training strategies that work best
(for your individual makeup) and why. Once you know what you
need to do for maximized muscle gain and fat loss, do it.

The third key is on the surface the most simple (though perhaps
most esoteric) yet it completely underpins the success of the
first two foundations. Once you have the first two foundations
in place the third key is to just relax and enjoy the process.
Don't stress about anything related to nutrition and exercise.

Busy people generally have some degree of stress in their lives
already. The secret to ultimate body success is to make the
process required to achieve a lean and muscular body and keep it
for life become truly effortless. Get it out of your head that
it's all hard work. When people think of nutrition and exercise
it generally conjures up feelings of panic, pain, sacrifice and
effort. Whilst some of us have a certain masochistic streak, why
bother with all that when the alternative is a peace of mind and
living in an effortless natural state that achieves far superior
results?

Of course with any Zen-like sounding state, it will take some
time to achieve and the exact process is complex topic that you
could write a whole book on (maybe I might one day). The key
take home message though is to make you aware and question the
overwhelming societal norm to view nutrition and exercise in a
certain negative light. Beyond a powerful (though unattached)
desire for a successful result, I believe that the initial
determination and work ethic must evolve into a peace of mind
that has a calm core of absolute, unshakable certainty for long
term results.

Getting the body you want in the fastest time possible for
someone with a busy schedule is not about what exercises they
need to do and what food they need eat. It certainly is not
about exercising `a bit' and eating a little better. It is about
creating the lifestyle foundations and following systems to make
it all work for you. The reward is that you will be able to take
your place among the fitness elite – those who live their lives
in such a way discover the body they desire, is an effortless
by-product of their lifestyle.

Bad Credit Debt Management
The convenience of plastic money or credit cards is
undeniable. People carry them wherever they go because
they're a safer way to make purchases. These great
financing tools however can create trouble when not used
with caution. Millions of consumers all over the world find
themselves stuck with huge credit card debt. The reason?
Uncontrolled credit card spending.

In some cases, the only way to straighten out the problem
is through debt consolidation. Since the problem begins
with missed or delayed credit card payments, consolidating
credit cards and other types of debt could be the most
effective solution. Through consolidation, an individual
will only be paying a single interest rate instead of
several interest rates from each of his creditors. By
cutting back the amount of interest rate he pays, a
consumer can save significantly on his debts. In addition,
the debt consolidation company could give a lower rate of
interest as this is what their service is about.

Another advantage of getting debt consolidation is that the
borrower can obtain new repayment options. The credit
consolidation company would make arrangements with the
client's creditors to come with a better payment term. The
borrower can take advantage of the new payment terms so he
can get out from under his debts easier.

Not An Easy Way Out From Under Debt. What every borrower
should know is that by joining a debt consolidation program
doesn't always mean an easy way out of your debts. As the
borrower, you are still responsible for the debts you owe
and it would require determination and effort on your part
in order to make the consolidation program work for you.

The first thing you need to do is to know exactly how much
you owe from different creditors. Get a copy of your credit
report to be sure that there are no incorrect charges in
your account. You would need to do some of your own
research in finding the right debt consolidation company to
help you. Do not submit a lot of applications to different
consolidation companies without doing research. Use the
internet to find out about their rates and conditions. Call
each company and make inquiries about their debt
consolidation program. Remember to choose cautiously as you
don't want to get involved with a predatory consolidation
company.

The Importance of Commitment. One important thing to
remember is that once you've entered into a debt
consolidation program, you would have to be committed in
making your monthly payments to your consolidation company.
You can't afford to delay or miss another payment because
you're already given a consolidated repayment term at a
lower interest. Thus, do all you can to keep up with your
debts.

It would mean not using your credit cards for new purchases
for a while, cutting back on your expenses, getting a
second job to be able to make payments. If you think that
the problem is in your spending habits, then don't hesitate
to seek help from a reputable, trustworthy credit
counseling service. Recognize the problem and be willing to
make some changes before it's too late.

As the Nike ad says,

JUST DO IT

SUCCESS

"To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Inside each of us are powers so strong,
treasures so rich, possibilities so endless,
that to command them all to action
would change the history of the world."
- anon

"Success to others may be apparent in what you DO; but
significance, meaning and purpose lies, then reveals itself
in what you ARE and BECOME down the 'river of life' - how
and the spirit with which you face, then overcome the daily
obstacles, the frequent trials and tribulations along the
often rocky path-way of life's magical and mysterious
journey.
Light your path brightly."
- craig

Submitter's Note:
Craig has been studing the human mind, the "secrets of success" and succcessful living for the past decade. This article is based on points from a most inspirational book by Napoleon Hill titled 'UNLIMITED SUCCESS' (publisher Melville Powers, US) . I am sharing the contents of this work in the spirit of encouraging and hopefully even inspiring those people, who really want to "achieve unlimited success" to read the book...and just GO FOR IT with all you've got.

Thank you sincerely, Mr Hill for sharing your words of wisdom in encouraging me to follow my "untrodden path" with passion and reach for my personal dreams. I WILL UNTIL.

"I'd rather attempt to do something great and fail, than try doing something ordinary and succeed."
- Norman Vincent Peale

"Our Greatest Good is perhaps not to achieve wealth and share our material possessions, our money and 'riches' with others, but through encouragement and faith in other people, to lay the firm foundation of revealing the rich treasure that lies within themselves.
Perhaps that is true success in life."
- craig

About the submitter:
Craig believes in sharing information and insights with a 'dash of humour' to try to make a difference in this world: to help and especially encourage people along life's magical journey ... and that brings him the greatest joy.
http://www.selfgrowth.com/experts/craig_lock.html
http://www.craiglockbooks.com and http://www.myspace.com/writercraig

"Life is about finding, then following the dream...
and one's dream/vision comes to reality through
believing in yourself, making the commitment and then creating it."

PPS: To end off, how's this for some inspiring words of wisdom from you'd never guess?

"And whatever else history may say about me when I'm gone, I hope it
will record that I appealed to your best hopes, not your worst fears, to
your confidence rather than your doubts. My dream is that you will
travel the road ahead with liberty's lamp guiding your steps and
opportunity's arm steadying your way. My fondest hope for each one of
you - and especially for young people - is that you will love your
country, not for her power or wealth, but for her selflessness and her
idealism. May each of you have the heart to conceive, the understanding
to direct, and the hand to execute works that will make the world a
little better for your having been here. May all of you as Americans
never forget your heroic origins, never fail to seek divine guidance,
and never lose your natural, God-given optimism. And finally, my fellow
Americans, may every dawn be a great new beginning for America and every
evening bring us closer to that shining city upon a hill."

- Former US President Ronald Reagan

Together, one mind, one soul, one life at a time, let's encourage, impact, uplift and perhaps even inspire the world."

What's the Difference between Good Debt and Bad Debt?
Not all debts are considered bad. Some debts can actually
improve your credit score and your worthiness as a
borrower. Let's discuss the differences between good debts
and bad debts and hopefully, by the end of this article
you'll be able to take an objective look at your financial
state and act to manage your debts accordingly.

Good Debt - A debt that appreciates in value as time passes
is a good debt. In fact, a mortgage loan is considered as a
very good debt. As you know, the price of a home property
usually increases over time which means the amount of loan
you used to purchase your property is so much less than
what it would cost after 10 years or more. This is why many
people who have the resources choose to buy home properties
as an investment.

A student loan can also be called a good debt. Why? Because
you're using the money you loan to earn a degree. When you
graduate from college, you'll obviously be earning so much
more than the amount you used to obtain your student loan.

Bad Debt - Acquiring debts because you need the money for
purchasing consumable things can be considered bad debt.
For example, obtaining too many credit cards is not a very
healthy habit. Using your credit card to spend on things
that do not appreciate in value, is a big mistake
especially if your credit card has a high interest rate.
There have been so many people all over the world who got
stuck in debt because they were unable to control their
spending using their credit cards. Because credit cards are
so easy to use, it is also too easy to splurge and use it
in unnecessary expenses.

Another example of bad debt is a vacation loan. Some people
tend to spend more than what they can afford on vacation
trips because they were able to get a vacation loan.
Although, it's a good idea to take a break from time to
time, it would be better if you can set aside savings from
your own money that you'll be spending for a vacation.

Bad Debt Management - Take a close look at your current
financial status. You may have incurred both good and bad
debts. If so, then you should prioritize paying off your
bad debts first since they do not increase in value.
However, this does not mean that you can take on as much
debt as you like as long as it's a good debt. It is very
important to consider things ten times before acquiring any
type of debt. Even if you think it's a good investment, it
is not practical to take on new debts, if you know that you
don't have the means to pay for it.

Ultimately, whether it's a good debt or a bad debt, you are
accountable for it. The best thing you can do as a borrower
is to be constantly aware of how much you owe and what you
can pay. Be responsible enough to pay back what you owe on
time.
