Some online shopping selections are left up to the shopper
because they are shopping with a gift card. The gift card might
have come from a family member or a friend from work and the
gift card can be filled electronically with money that totals
any amount. When online shoppers have access to plastic money,
they are liable to spend hours looking over the product
selection in a store because they want to make sure that they
will eventually buy the best present in the world.

The online shopping selections can be as diverse as products
found in a land-based retail outlet. Customers that are
searching for clothing and accessories might be online for
hours. The clothing aisles in an online shopping environment
will be filled with all sizes of clothing and some of the
remaining aisles of the clothing department will include
clothing selections such as handbags and wallets. Other
accessories can be quickly found while online shopping such as
shoes and travel luggage. By the time a customer leaves an
online shopping mall, they will definitely be ready to travel.

People enjoy other interests than shopping online with friends.
They will shop online for items that friends will also enjoy
including top of the line consumer electronics. Customers can be
inspired to take up certain hobbies just by scanning through the
aisles of the store. The digital cameras and photographic
accessories might inspire some to take many photos. Some might
seem like a professional photographer by the they are finished
shopping online because with tripods, cases, and lenses online
the person will present a very professional photographer
appearance.

Some people go online shopping because they enjoy being home
bodies. They enjoy searching through the latest home appliance
inventions and make plans to buy a few kitchen accessories in
the future. While shopping online, they might spend some time
compiling a list of building supplies for a new room addition
that is being planned, and to make that room warm and cozy the
person will go online and go shopping again for comforters and
sheets and a four-poster bed.

Many online shopping selections will make life more enjoyable.
People enjoy shopping for electronic devices such as cell
phones, and 2-way radios. Online shoppers are able to
communicate freely with these electronics selections and when
they get bored the shoppers can always explore the idea of
buying headphones and recording equipment. Some online shoppers
search the aisles for karaoke machines and mikes, just so they
can stay at home and host a family talent night.

People can purchase any number of things and never have to
worry about standing in a line while paying for those items. The
online shopping selection extend to payment options because
online shoppers have the benefit of online discounts and the
online shopping selections of using debit cards, credit cards or
checks for payment of the items they purchased online shopping
that day. Online shopping selections might be more plentiful at
times because of sales that occur throughout a month. People buy
more when they know they can safely checkout without having to
worry about somebody invading their privacy.

want to sample the best cuisine you can. To make it easier for
you to choose from all the restaurants on offer in Orlando, I
have selected five restaurants which users of a popular
restaurant directory have chosen as their favorites. So, read on

there soon.

Jack's Place is a steakhouse located at the Rosen Plaza Hotel,
on International Drive, in Orlando. Its menu features gourmet
food and seafood and a three course meal costs $45 per person.

celebrities hang out and this is proven by the décor in the
restaurant which features autographed star caricatures ranging
from Bertrand Russell to Yogi Berra. You can get a 50% discount
coupon on the restaurant's website, www.jacksplaceresturant.com
or contact them at these numbers: Local: 407.996.1787,

A Land Remembered

This is another steakhouse and its distinctive name is taken
from Patrick Smith's rich novel featuring Florida's historical
moments and landscapes. Their featured dishes include: Slow

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Proactive web analytics is necessary for successful web
presence. Everything that is meant to help your business succeed
online must be tied into your web analytics strategy. Every web
site, e-mail campaign, Pay Per Click ad, landing page, and blog
must be measured. There is no improvement possible without
rigorous measurement of what is happening to your web presence.
As the old cliché goes, if you can't measure it you can't manage
it. Without measuring the effectiveness of your efforts, all you
do is make decisions based on feelings instead of facts.

The reactive approach to web analytics equates to running your
business in crisis mode. It's not pretty. Whenever you are doing
anything in crisis mode, you can't plan for anything and without
planning you can't succeed. You should not make a change, spend
another dollar, and start a new marketing campaign without
measurable goals. Web analytics is your tool to measure your
level of success and failure.

A web presence that does not include a proactive web analytics
strategy creates an environment where decisions are based on
assumptions instead of information based on data. Such a system
is a recipe for disaster. Before your start a new e-mail
campaign, make changes to your website, begin a pay per click
campaign, or make any change you must list specific goals to
measure its effectiveness. Once you have set your goals, you
must determine your KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Then, you
have to determine what tool you are going to use to capture the
data.

With proactive web analytics, you can quantify the elements of
your web presence. The insight you get through proactive web
analytics is going to help you understand how all that affects
your profit.

Reactive web analytics means that you are waiting for something
bad to happen before you examine the data. There is benefit in
using web analytics reactively, but the greatest value is in
proactive web analytics.

For example, if you have been measuring the effectiveness of a
landing page for your previous e-mail campaigns, you can get a
good understanding of what worked and what was less effective.
With the proactive approach, you are armed with useful
information that can be readily applied to new projects. You can
create the e-mail campaign based on the web analytics
intelligence you have gathered through previous campaigns.

Proactive web analytics empowers you to prevent failure, or at
least minimize the likelihood of failure. The fix it later, or
reactive approach, is most likely to fail because it is always a
step behind. The reactive approach to web analytics is the same
as putting out fires. Unfortunately, putting out fires results
in damage, while preventing fires, the proactive approach to web
analytics, avoids damage. To succeed in business you must be
able to plan ahead, proactive web analytics is part of a winning
business strategy. With web analytics, you are going to be able
to measure the KPIs that will make or break your business
objectives.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
So you want to flatten your belly and reveal your chiseled 6
pack abs? It is actually rather simple to do so. I did say
simple, but did not said that it is easy. It takes a lot of grit
and determination to do so. However, if your motivation is
strong enough, you will get there.

When I said it is not easy because there is no short cut to get
a flat belly with 6 pack abs. Only those late night
informercials can give you fake promises that certain gizmos can
help you get a flat belly. If you want an easy way out, then
part your money to those advertisers forever and then get ready
to be disappointed.

No, even if you perform a trillion sit ups and leg raisers day
in and day out is not gonna get you the coveted six pack abs. To
get a flat belly you want, you will need to put in some work and
get educated with some science.

Here some helpful pointers to help you achieve your flat belly
objective and if you stick on to it, you will find that not only
will your belly get flatter week after week, you will also
reduce excess body fat from all parts of your body and soon,
your 6 pack abs will be revealed.

Correct eating habit and nutrition is the most important factor
in getting a flat stomach. Therefore you will need to control
your blood sugar levels to lose body fat. One way to do that is
to consume five to six meals small meals a day. Please note, I
said small meals, such as dividing the portion of your three
daily meals into 5-6 smaller meals.

Next, reduce your carbohydrate consumption to about 50 percent
or less from your meals. Most people eat way too much carbs
anyway and before their body can burn the carbs for energy, the
carbs would have been converted to glycogen and the further
excess carbs into body fat.

Consume your small meals at 2 to 3 hours intervals. This is
because when your stomach is empty, your body will tend to
conserve fat for energy and by eating frequently. You won't want
that to happen right? Furthermore, you will be controlling your
blood sugar level to encourage fat loss and you will start to
lose weight gradually.

However, if you are still not losing weight, then you are
consuming too many calories. In this case, make your meals even
smaller by reducing more carbs.

By the first week, you will probably lose between 4 to 5 pounds
(about 2kg) of water weight and some body fat. By continuing to
eat like this, you should be losing about 1 to 2 pounds per
week. If you are losing weight more than that, then you are
probably losing muscle weight too. In this case, then increase
your carbs consumption a little until you achieve a gradual
weight loss of 1 to 2 pounds a week.

However, if you are not losing 1 to 2 pounds per week, then
reduce another 100 calories from your meals. Remember to abstain
from sugar laden drinks such as soda and soft drinks as these
drinks are chock full of calories. Alcohol consumption is a big
fat No No!

Now, when you are losing weight, your belly will get flatter
and flatter but you will still need to incorporate exercises
into your weight loss routine to burn more calories as well as
getting your muscles toned and getting the 6 pack abs.
Furthermore, for every pound of muscle you that you gain on your
body, you will burn 30-50 extra calories a day. You will then
become a natural calorie burner.

Is this get flat belly program easy? Nope, it is not and that
is why so few people have flat bellies and tight six pack abs.
However, it is definitely achievable if your desire to have a
flat belly is strong enough.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Whole life insurance is the plan of choice for many people.
There are many variations to this plan. It may be a good thing
to look at some of them. We will begin by examining the basic
whole life policy.

Whole Life Insurance

What is a whole life policy all about? If you want a policy
that you can keep for as long as you live and that will pay the
face amount to your beneficiaries then this may be the plan for
you. There is, however, a lot more to this policy. There are two
types of whole life policies...participating and non
participating. Participating whole life has cash values and earn
dividends if the life insurance company performs efficiently.
Dividends are not guaranteed. Non participating policies have
cash values but pay no dividend. The premiums are level
throughout for both types and so are the death benefits. There
are many modifications to these policies.

Graded Premium Life

With this policy the premium begins much lower that the normal
cost and increases each year for a specified period then it
levels off and remains level for the rest of the life of the
policy. The ultimate premium is usually a little more the it
would have been had a normal whole life policy been taken out at
the outset. The premiums increase for 5 or 10 years depending on
the particular companies idea as to how the policy should work.
This type of policy is purchased by one who likes the idea of
whole life insurance but doesn't want to put out the full
premium at the outset.

Limited Payment Whole Life

This policy is designed that you pay only for a specific period
of time but you still own your policy for your entire life. What
the life insurance companies are doing here is packing the cost
of the policy in the first 5, 10 or 20 years for example. You
don't pay after these periods but you still own your policy. You
still have your cash values and you still earn dividends. Keep
in mind that the cost for such policies are more than those of
regular whole life insurance policies.

Single Premium Whole Life Insurance

The idea here is that you pay only once and the policy remains
in force for as long as you live. The policy has cash values
from very early and, if a participating policy, accumulates
dividends.

There are other variations to the whole life policy. They are
usually referred to as modified life policies. Some have a lower
level premium for 5 or 10 years and a higher level premium
thereafter. There are a few others that have a more complex
premium structure but with a lower premium throughout. This
premium is based on whether or not the company pays a dividend.
As a result the owner of the policy may end up with a lower
death benefit than anticipated, if the company doesn't perform.
The older and stronger companies, however, usually are able to
keep the death benefit at the original level.

When you shop for a hair transplant surgeon, you will find that
different doctors give widely varying estimates of the number of
grafts you will need. This can make you very uncertain about
the wisdom of even getting a hair transplant. It helps to have
a fair idea of what to expect.

Unfortunately, there are hair transplant surgeons who do not
take their position of respect seriously. Some doctors are even
transplanting donor hair into areas where the patient still has
hair. Perhaps this is easier than placing it where it
rightfully belongs - on the balding spots.

For whatever reason, some hair transplant patients are not
getting the number of grafts on their balding areas as they are
billed. This is testified by certain doctors who have seen the
results. The density of hair on these patients' heads is not
commensurate with the number of grafts they supposedly got.

The best hope a patient has of getting what he pays for in a
hair transplant is to learn to calculate the number of grafts he
needs to cover his balding area. If the surgeon he sees is not
in that ballpark, it may be wiser to look for another surgeon.
If however, the surgeon estimates a similar number, just make
sure all the grafts go onto the balding parts of your scalp.

To calculate the number of grafts you need for hair transplant
surgery, there are several factors to take into account. The
thickness of the hair shaft makes a difference. Whether the
hair is curly or straight determines if the hair will lie flat
or stand up, creating more fullness.

Another important factor for hair transplant is the color of
the hair in contrast to the color of the skin. For a
light-skinned man with light-colored hair, or a dark-skinned man
with dark colored hair, it takes a certain amount of hair to
cover the baldness. However, a light-skinned man with very dark
hair will need much more hair to provide the same amount of
coverage.

You should figure that the average number of hair transplant
grafts needed to cover a balding area is 25% of the original
hair that was there. You can move up or down from this figure
according to your other factors such as thickness, curliness, or
color. Then, you can use this number to figure up the grafts
needed.

Based on the fact that the average Caucasian male has a density
of 2 hairs per millimeter, it can be assumed that the average
density of hair is 1250 hairs per square inch. Figuring at an
average of 2 hairs per follicular unit, it would take 625
follicular units per square inch.

To get 25% of that, you would need 156 follicular units per
square inch. All that remains is to measure your balding area
and multiply the number of square inches by 156. When you know
what number of grafts to expect during your hair transplant
surgery, you will be a savvy consumer. It does not hurt one bit
go into the process with an idea of your own about how the
treatment should go.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
In the last days, the Bible tells us of a horrible series of
events that will take place in the lands of Israel and Syria.
One of these events is the disappearance of Damascus as one of
the premiere cities in the world. The oldest continuously
inhabited city on the planet, Damascus has witnessed at least
5,000 years of human history, and some historians believe the
city actually dates back to the seventh millennium BC. In fact,
Paul was on the road to Damascus when Christ first appeared to
Him, an event that transformed not only his life, but the course
of human history.

In the very near future, Damascus will once again play a major
role in human events. The prophet Isaiah provides us with God's
commentary on a future conflict between Damascus and Israel, and
in so doing, he reveals certain prophecies which have been
partially fulfilled in the past. However, the ultimate
fulfillment of Isaiah 17 remains in the future. The current
existence of Damascus, which will one day cease to be a city, as
well as the historical absence of the coalition of nations
prophesied to attack Israel and be destroyed by God, is proof
that Isaiah 17 prophesies events yet future.

This is what God revealed to the prophet Isaiah:

"This message came to me concerning Damascus: `Look, Damascus
will disappear! It will become a heap of ruins. The cities of
Aroer will be deserted. Sheep will graze in the streets and lie
down unafraid. There will be no one to chase them away. The
fortified cities of Israel will also be destroyed, and the power
of Damascus will end. The few left in Aram will share the fate
of Israel's departed glory,' says the Lord Almighty." Isaiah
17:1-3 (NLT)

These opening verses paint a bleak picture. The city of
Damascus will become a heap of ruins, utterly destroyed. Few, if
any, buildings will be left standing. The once great city will
be devoid of human life and will become home to all manner of
wildlife in the absence of humans to chase them away.

According to these verses, the cities of Aroer, which are
located on the northern bank of the Arnon River just east of the
Dead Sea, will also be deserted. However, the passage doesn't
say they will be destroyed in the same manner as Damascus, just
that they will be deserted. It may be that people simply flee
these cities out of fear.

In addition, many of the fortified cities in northern Israel
will also be destroyed. Those few who remain in Aram, 38 miles
south southeast of Damascus, will share the fate of these
northern Israeli cities.

"`In that day the glory of Israel will be very dim, for poverty
will stalk the land. Israel will be abandoned like the grain
fields in the valley of Rephaim after the harvest. Only a few of
its people will be left, like the stray olives left on the tree
after the harvest. Only two or three remain in the highest
branches, four or five out on the tips of the limbs. Yes, Israel
will be stripped bare of people,' says the Lord, the God of
Israel." Isaiah 17:4-6 (NLT)

The breadth and scope of destruction is clearly illustrated as
God describes the Israeli landscape as stripped bare of people.
Only a small fraction of people either choose to stay in the
land or else survive what is a massive holocaust, leaving only a
few inhabitants who struggle in poverty.

"Then at last the people will think of their Creator and have
respect for the Holy One of Israel. They will no longer ask
their idols for help or worship what their own hands have made.
They will never again bow down to their Asherah poles or burn
incense on the altars they built." Isaiah 17:7-8 (NLT)

As a result of this event, the people of Israel will once again
turn to God Almighty. Currently, the nation of Israel is
predominantly secular in nature. Other biblical passages infer
that this will change as the prophesied rebuilding of the Temple
in the last days indicates a spiritual resurgence among the Jews
of Israel. Nevertheless, this passage clearly indicates the
people of Israel will turn away from all false idols and gods.

Knowing that this will happen, we must ask: why does it happen?
The answer is found in the verses that follow:

"Their largest cities will be as deserted as overgrown
thickets. They will become like the cities the Amorites
abandoned when the Israelites came here so long ago. Why?
Because you have turned from the God who can save you – the Rock
who can hide you. You may plant the finest imported grapevines,
and they may grow so well that they blossom on the very morning
you plant them, but you will never pick any grapes from them.
Your only harvest will be a load of grief and incurable pain."
Isaiah 17:9-11 (NLT)

The devastation that overshadows Israel will come about because
Israel has "turned from the God who can save them." All the hard
work performed prior to this event will be lost. Those who have
been distracted by the things of this world will be
disappointed, for they have forgotten God, and by putting faith
in the things of this world, they will ultimately be
disappointed. Their only harvest will be "a load of grief and
incurable pain." This grief will be brought to a climax when, in
the midst of their suffering, the nation of Israel faces an
imminent invasion:

"Look! The armies rush forward like waves thundering toward the
shore. But though they roar like breakers on a beach, God will
silence them. They will flee like chaff scattered by the wind or
like dust whirling before a storm. In the evening Israel waits
in terror, but by dawn its enemies are dead. This is the just
reward of those who plunder and destroy the people of God."
Isaiah 17:12-14 (NLT)

While Syria and Israel lie in ruin, the enemies of Israel will
view her suffering as an opportunity to invade, their ultimate
goal to destroy her forever. However, God has a different plan
in mind, and He will destroy these invaders Himself. A more in
depth illustration of this attack is foreseen in Psalm 83:

"O God, don't sit idly by, silent and inactive! Don't you hear
the tumult of your enemies? Don't you see what your arrogant
enemies are doing? They devise crafty schemes against your
people, laying plans against your precious ones. `Come,' they
say, `let us wipe out Israel as a nation. We will destroy the
very memory of its existence.' This was their unanimous
decision. They signed a treaty as allies against you – these
Edomites and Ishmaelites, Moabites and Hagrites, Gebalites,
Ammonites, and Amalekites, and people from Philistia and Tyre.
Assyria has joined them, too, and is allied with the descendants
of Lot. Do to them as you did to the Midianites or as you did to
Sisera and Jabin at the Kishon River. They were destroyed at
Endor, and their decaying corpses fertilized the soil. Let their
mighty nobles die as Oreb and Zeeb did. Let all their princes
die like Zebah and Zalmunna, for they said, `Let us seize for
our own use these pasturelands of God!' O my God, blow them away
like whirling dust, like chaff before the wind! As a fire roars
through a forest and as a flame sets mountains ablaze, chase
them with your fierce storms; terrify them with your tempests.
Utterly disgrace them until they submit to your name, O Lord.
Let them be ashamed and terrified forever. Make them failures in
everything they do, until they learn that you alone are called
the Lord, that you alone are the Most High, supreme over all the
earth." Psalm 83 (NLT)

So how do we know that Psalm 83 describes the same scene
envisioned in Isaiah 17? Let's compare the two. Here's how the
intentions of Israel's enemies are described:

Plunder & Destruction
"This is the just reward of those who plunder and destroy the
people of God." Isaiah 17:14 (NLT)

Destruction
"They devise crafty schemes against your people, laying plans
against your precious ones. `Come,' they say, `let us wipe out
Israel as a nation. We will destroy the very memory of its
existence.' This was their unanimous decision." Psalm 83:3-5
(NLT)

Plunder
"for they said, `Let us seize for our own use these
pasturelands of God!" Psalm 83:12 (NLT)

Here's how the fate of Israel's enemies are described:

"They will flee like chaff scattered by the wind or like dust
whirling before a storm." Isaiah 17:13 (NLT)

"O my God, blow them away like whirling dust, like chaff before
the wind!" Psalm 83:13 (NLT)

From the description of their fate alone, it is reasonable to
conclude that the armies of Isaiah 17:12 are the same nations
who sign a treaty against the Lord in Psalm 83:5-8. Below is a
list of those nations and their modern geographical equivalents:

Edomites = Jordan / Parts of the West Bank
Ishmaelites = The Arab people
Moabites = Jordan / Parts of the West Bank
Hagrites = Jordan / The Arab people
Gebalites = Lebanon
Ammonites = Jordan
Amalekites = Southern Israel / Gaza
Philistia = Gaza
Tyre = Lebanon
Assyria = Syria / Parts of Turkey and Iraq
The Descendants of Lot = Jordan

By studying the geographical history of these ancient people
and places, we can uncover which nations they currently compose.
According to Psalm 83, in the aftermath of the destruction of
northern Israel and Damascus, Israel will be invaded by armies
from Jordan, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza. All of
these locations are heavily populated by the enemies of Israel
today.

An Expanding War?

But are the nations cited in Psalm 83 the only nations involved
in this attack? It's quite possible that additional conspirators
are named in the Book of Ezekiel. Isaiah 17 and Psalm 83 might
well foreshadow the war of Gog and Magog.

In Ezekiel 38-39, an enormous coalition of nations, "a vast and
awesome horde" – will roll down on Israel "like a storm and
cover the land like a cloud" Ezekiel 38:9 (NLT). This prophesied
future war in Ezekiel has many similarities to Isaiah 17:12-14.
Both prophets foresee a time when enemy armies rush toward
Israel while she awaits unprepared. Both prophets foresee God's
instantaneous destruction of Israel's enemies. And in both
scenarios, the marching armies intend to plunder and destroy the
people of Israel:

Destruction
"You will say, `Israel is an unprotected land filled with
unwalled villages! I will march against her and destroy these
people who live in such confidence!" Ezekiel 38:11 (NLT)

Plunder
"But Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish will ask,
`Who are you to rob them of silver and gold? Who are you to
drive away their cattle and seize their goods and make them
poor?'" Ezekiel 38:13 (NLT)

Plunder & Destruction
"This is the just reward of those who plunder and destroy the
people of God." Isaiah 17:14 (NLT)

Could the events predicted in Isaiah 17 and Psalm 83 be a
catalyst for the war of Gog and Magog prophesied in Ezekiel
38-39? Although it is not a certainty, the possibility can not
be completely ruled out.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Hardwood flooring comes in a number of different varieties and
so it is important to know which one would be better suited to
you.

The flooring of choice for many homes, offices and other
establishments, is hardwood flooring and it is not hard to see
why this is the case. You will find it hard to escape somewhere
that has hard wood flooring these days. The reason behind this
is because of the longevity and aesthetics that wood flooring
brings.

Why Choose Hardwood Flooring?

There is a lot of history about the wood used for flooring and
you cannot help but visualise this. As soon as the flooring has
been correctly installed, you will experience the warmth and
natural elegance that it brings to the room. As well as these
great benefits, the value of the home can also be increased by
using hardwood flooring throughout. If it has had the proper
care it can last a life time, which is more than can be said for
a lot of other flooring materials such as carpets.

The maintenance side of the hardwood flooring is relatively
simple, which means that you will not have to spend a long time
cleaning it. It will usually be sufficient enough to just wipe
over once a day. And one other benefit is that because it is
naturally made, it is safe for the environment.

What to Look For in Hardwood Flooring

When you are searching for hardwood flooring, you will notice
that there are three basic types which are:

Solid Wood Floors – With this type of flooring, if the floor is
above or on the ground level then it can actually be placed on
top of concrete. There are three basic types of solid wood
floors which are strip flooring, plank flooring boards and
parquet flooring.

Engineered Hardwood Floors – This type of flooring consists of
several layers of different woods. Compared to solid wood
flooring, the engineered flooring has less chance of being
affected by any sudden changes in humidity.

Wood Laminate Flooring – This is quite a popular type of
hardwood flooring and it is a plywood base that has a top layer
consisting of veneer. You can sand and finish this type of
hardwood flooring up to 3 times maximum.

Overall there are some great choices out there when it comes to
hardwood flooring, so when the multi million pound question is
asked about what flooring should you choose - the answer comes
down to each individual, because everyone is different based
upon what they want or need in their home. If you are not sure
which type of hardwood flooring to with, have a look around and
maybe do a little research about each type in order to see which
one would suit you the most.

Article Title: Practicing Good Lawn Care Education

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Getting educated on lawn care is a good idea if you are new to
gardening. You can find the information that you need in a
number of different places including the internet, in your local
library and from your friends and family.

Having a good education about lawn care will help you to
maintain or grow a lawn and also to know how to deal with any
problems along the way. Knowing as much as possible about how to
provide good care for your lawn will help you to produce a
healthy and good looking lawn that you can be proud of.

It can take a long time to learn about everything to do with
lawn care, as you will constantly pick things up as time goes
on. By practicing the different types of lawn care, you will
gain more experience and you can also learn from your mistakes.

Where can you learn everything About Lawn Care?

There is so much that you can learn about lawns and how to
maintain them, so getting educated on it is a very wise move.
You can find so much information out from looking at books or
from researching on the internet. You can also ask around for
tips from gardeners and even take college courses on how to
maintain your lawn and look after it properly.

How much you learn depends upon your own circumstances and
whether you want to spend a while getting an education on lawn
care or not. The thing that you need to keep in mind, is that
you may never learn every single thing that there is to know,
but you can gain a very good knowledge by doing further learning
and research.

One thing that is worth reading up on is about how lawns vary
from different climates and in different locations. When you are
growing one particular type of grass, you will notice that it
may grow extremely well in one part of the world, but it may
never grow at all or die off quicker in a different part of the
world.

There are many things that can contribute to the grass not
growing properly, such as the unpredictability of the climate
that you live in. If you are in an area where the weathers are
harsh, you will have to research what grass to use for your
area. This is all part of being educated about lawn care and you
are bound to make mistakes whilst you are learning, as there are
so many things to do.

Also you will want to get educated about the different types of
tools that are available and the purpose of each one. You may
need some of these tools one day, so it is a good idea to find
out about each of them and to see whether your lawn would
benefit from you using them or not.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
If you are planning a trip to Benidorm, one of the more popular
cities of the Alicante province, you will find that there are
many Benidorm accommodation options from which to choose.
Tourism is central to this region of Spain, particularly
Benidorm which offers accommodations to meet the needs and
preferences of everyone. In fact, there are over 170 hotels in
Benidorm ranging from basic to luxury hotels which gives you the
opportunity to find a hotel with your desired amenities, in your
preferred location and within your budget.

You can research accommodations on the internet where you can
compare hotel and property rentals to make the best decision.
However, begin your search early especially if you are looking
to travel during the summer season. The summer season is the
busiest time of the year for these coastal cities and the
hotels, apartments and villas fill up quickly. For summer
travel, it is recommended that you make accommodation
arrangements at least six months in advance. During your search,
you should compare not only the prices but the entire package
including the property's amenities, proximity to attractions of
your interest, restaurants that meet your tastes and style and
generally what is important to make it the best vacation for
you. If you are traveling as a family with young children, a
hotel with a pool or other activities for children is something
you definitely will want to consider. If the beach is the focus
of you vacation, you will want to find a convenient beach front
hotel. There are many things to consider, from nearby nightlife,
sightseeing opportunities, accessibility of transportation and,
of course, price. Larger hotels may have the swimming pools,
restaurants and be closer to attractions than the smaller hotels
or apartments, yet these small places may be closer to beautiful
sightseeing opportunities. Likewise, when comparing
accommodations, you must assess what is important for your
vacation.

In addition to the considerations above, you should consider
how long you will be staying. If you plan to stay for a longer
vacation, renting an apartment may be the better option and more
budget friendly than a hotel. Renting an apartment is often the
preference of those traveling as a family, since they may prefer
the privacy and "home" environment as compared to a hotel. You
can find rental apartments or villas through travel agents based
in Benidorm or even online, but a travel agent located within
Benidorm will probably be able to give you more quality
information on the best properties to rent and the rentals which
are available. Another option, though, is to deal directly with
the owner of the property. Many individuals purchase apartments
as second homes, or vacation homes, and rent it out when they
are not using it. Property owners may advertise available
properties online or in travel magazines. Though you may have to
do more searching to locate an owner yourself, you can save
money by not paying a commission to the travel agent.

So many American families are putting off family traveling
because they simply just do not have the money or they are too
busy, however, you do not have to worry about not having the
time or money to travel because you can get some cheap discount
rates if you look in the right places. You will want to learn
about these discounts so that you and your family can enjoy
spending time away together. You will find that you can get some
discounts when you go online, look in the newspapers, and even
look through the yellow pages. Many families will venture off
into a vacation just so that they can get away and recoup from
the daily grind. You will find that if you learn about these
discounts that you can create memories for the whole family to
keep.

When it comes to your airfare, you will find that it can be
something that you cannot avoid and it is also very costly,
however, there are plenty of places that you can get good deals.
You will find that there are discounts for any place that you
need to go. You will want to think about the beginning of your
trip. It is always cheaper if you go during the middle of the
week (around Tuesday through Thursday). You will find that you
can stay for seven days at a hotel and be at discount rated too,
because you are checking in during the middle of the week. You
will also find that the time of day that you are departing from
or arriving will make a difference too. You will want to check
out the best times by comparing rates. You will also want to hit
the discount sites online too. You will find plenty of bargains
and you will also see what exactly it will take to put the
vacation together. Price line is one of the best places online
that you can find cheap fairs. You may also be able to use some
flyer miles that you have racked up on your credit card and such
too.

You will also find that when you get to the destination that
you will want to take public transportation to help you stay
safe. This can be very expensive, but there are still ways that
you can save some money. First, you may be able to find a deal
on a rental car online, but then you will also want to get
things like insurance and roadside assistance. You will find
that the price of renting is cheap, but when you add all of your
extras, things tend to get expensive. You will also find that if
you take buses you will be able to save some money. However, if
you are making plenty of day trips while on your vacation you
will be able to take the train and it will help you to get
across the country to other places and sites (this is important
if you are making several stops in European countries).

As for the hotels, you will want to go online and get your
rates. They will be cheaper and affordable. You will find that
if you take your time to get a good rate on a expensive hotel,
you'll feel a lot better than taking your chances on the cheap
bed and breakfasts. There are other types of shelter for those
who are looking for cheap rates, but you may find that it will
depend on the destination that you are planning. You will want
to make sure that your shelter is appropriate for your trip.

If you are tired of the wintertime blues and you want to do
something fun, you may want to take a vacation. You may want to
think about getting away from it all and doing something fun for
yourself. However, it is right after Christmas and you will
still have to pay those Christmas bills. What are you going to
do? There is no way that you can afford to pay for a trip or
plan ticket now. There is an option for you so that you can
afford and you do not have to miss any time from work as well.

You can take a great getaway in your hometown. There are great
places to see and things to do in your own home town that have
been there forever and you just never took the time to see. You
should not take these things for granted anymore and go out and
have some fun. There are places to visit and things that you
can do to keep you entertained and excited without leaving your
own town.

You should be able to take at least three days out of your busy
workweek to enjoy these great sites. You can spend some time
relaxing and enjoying life without spending a lot of money. You
can take a great three-day vacation in your own hometown easily.
If you do not have a lot of money to spend on this vacation it
is ok. You can get a hotel room with a great deal of amenities
so that you can do all the things that you would if you were on
vacation. This is especially great if you live in an area that
has snow and ice all the time. You can take advantage of the
free breakfast and get some relaxing time to yourself or with
your loved one at a price you can feel good about.

If you do not have any money, you can stay at home. Do not
take any phone calls and stay away from your computer and work.
Make this your time and do what ever you want. This is a great
way to have a three-day getaway for you. Lock the doors and
enjoy the quiet time. Watch your favorite movies and eat all
you want. This is a great adventure for anyone.

If you live in a hometown that has places for hikes and other
beautiful places in nature to go, you should take advantage of
it. There are great places that you can see that do not cost
anything or much at all. You will love being out in nature and
seeing what was always right there in front of you and you never
noticed.

If you have some great historical sites in your hometown, this
is the perfect time to check them out. There are great things
to see and learn about that you never even took the time to know
before. You will feel good about this type of getaway and it is
going to be a great experience that you can keep with you
forever. There is little travel involved and it is a great time
to do on your own or with someone that you love.

Museums are another great way to get away. You can check out
all that is available to you when you visit one of these
hometown places. You will not have to go far and the cost is
very little. You need to take this opportunity if you are
taking a three-day getaway from the hustle of regular life.

Parks are another great place to visit. You can take a bike
ride or walking trial that is in your area. This is a great
place that will give you some fresh air and allow you to get
exercise on your three-day getaway. Take advantage of the free
events that are available to you. You can check out your
newspaper to find out what you can do on your time off. There
is always something going on and you can do this in your free
time. Visit the library and do the same thing. There are
events happening all the time and you do not want to miss out on
all the fun that you can have. There are also great exhibits
that you can take in when you are looking for something to do as
well.

There are great attractions that you can find within your
limits of home. You can take great day trips to make you relax
and have some time to yourself. There are things that you can
do as well to spend time with your family too. You do not have
to spend a great deal of money to have fun. You can stay at
home, sleep in your own bed and stay comfortable for much less
than what you would spend anywhere else. The most important
thing to remember is that you are enjoying yourself without the
stress of regular life. Choose the best attractions that are
going to interest you and find something fun that you will all
enjoy.

Three-day vacations can be a great and very relaxing time for
you and your family. You will only need to use a little bit of
imagination to make it a great family getaway for anyone that
needs some time off.

---------------------------------------
Clematis is easy to grow and care for and can live for 25
years or more. Clematis is a hardy vining plant that can be
grown from zone 3 to 10.

Clematis should be planted as dormant plants in the spring.
If planting in the autumn do so no later than September so
the plants have a chance to get established before winter.

Clematis should be placed in full sun but a little shade
during the hottest part of the afternoon is appreciated.

To prevent wilt allow for air movement around the plant.

Dig the soil 24 inches deep and two to three feet wide where
the clematis plants are going to be planted. The area
should have good drainage.

Soak bare root plants in water for one hour before planting
to rehydrate them. Plant the roots with the crown one to
two inches below soil level.

Clematis like to have their roots cool. Plant low growing
flowers or a cover crop around them. Mulching can help but
the plants are more susceptible to wilt with mulch than if
partnered with other plants.

Space plants 24"-36" apart. When planting near a fence or
trellis place the plant 12 inches from the base. If
planting by a tree, place the plant three feet from the tree
on the north side. The tree will help to shade the roots.

Clematis needs a deep watering once a week.

Prune clematis plants in the spring or fall. If the
clematis blooms on year old wood, then prune after blooming.
If the plant blooms on new wood, then cut the plant back in
the spring.

New plants can be propagated by cuttings or layering.
Cuttings can take up to 3 or 4 months to form roots.
Layered vines usually produce a new plant after one year.

Clematis can be attacked by a fungus called Ascochyta
clematidina. This causes a wilting of the stem and leaf
spots. Cut back the affected stem below the diseased area.
A new stem will grow from buds on the healthy part of the
plant and the crown underground. Powdery mildew can be
treated with a fungicide as soon as it's noticed.

Slugs, earwigs, and aphids are the only insects that attack
clematis. If rabbits are a problem put a wire fence around
the plant especially for the winter.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Entrepreneurs who are buying a business tend to get excited and
emotional over the prospects of their new opportunity, often
forgetting to apply some basic rules which might save them years
of pain and suffering. Over the years I have worked with many a
number of them and I have seen them make the same mistakes
repeatedly. This quick summary should help you avoid some of the
more important ones.

Buying A Business Mistake 1. Buying the wrong business

It may not be true. Do what you love and the money may not
follow, but I can say, with certainty, that if you buy a
business you don't love, not only will it ruin the business, it
can ruin your life. Make sure you have a real passion for
whatever it is you're going to be doing for the next few years.
You may be passionate about the product, the customers, or even
the marketing or the sales. And of course, make sure the
business somehow makes good use of your personal skill set.

Buying A Business Mistake 2. Not doing your due diligence.

Due diligence on a business opportunity goes far beyond the
financial statements. Understand the customers, the market, the
business reputation and positioning, the vendors, the
competitive space, the debt, and a host of other factors. And
dig deep. A business may appear to great on the surface, but can
have serious problems underneath. An old saying has it that "The
Devil is in the details." Examine them – all of them – before
you make your final decision.

Buying A Business Mistake 3. Not understanding why the seller
is selling.

An owner may say they want to retire, but the real fact is that
he is losing his lease. Another says she is simply tired of the
business and wants to move on, when in reality a major
competitor is coming to town, and she is scared out of her wits.
Find out the real reason the business is being sold. You may
still decide to go ahead, and that information may help you
negotiate a better deal.

Buying A Business Mistake 4. Not having a good contract

Just like when buying a home, there are many points to
negotiate besides the price. There are the payment terms,
financing, covenants about the property, inventory issues,
accounts receivable, debt and other financial encumbrances like
liens, intellectual property issues like trademarks, patents and
copyright ownership, non-compete clauses, and dozens of other
details. While a strong contract won't save a bad business, a
weak one can kill you. Don't proceed along any lines where major
questions are unanswered. And make sure you hire a lawyer
familiar with business purchases to review your agreement.

Buying A Business Mistake 5. Not knowing the real business
valuation

It's easy to overpay for a business when you don't have a
proper business valuation. Most business pricing models have two
major components: a base, usually revenue or profit, and a
multiplier. To get the base you need a clear view of the revenue
picture from previous years. Get financial statements and sales
journals going back as long as you can – up to five years. Do
the same for expenses. Each industry has its own basic model for
comparison. Some industries, such as software, focus on revenue
or sales while most others focus on earnings, or an adjustment
to earnings called EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes,
Depreciation and Amortization.) The multiplier is also industry
based, and can range all over the map. The company's assets and
liabilities – both real and contingent – as well as the strength
and consistency of cash flow, also affect the price you are
willing to pay. It's a good idea to get a professional
evaluation of the company, if only to use as a starting point or
bolster your negotiating position.

Here is a sixth mistake that is less obvious to many buyers,
yet should actually be the first thing you consider when
deciding on a business to purchase

Not having a clear picture of the future

Remember the multiplier I mentioned above? That multiplier is
actually the number of years it will take to recoup the price
you just paid for the business, assuming it doesn't grow (or
shrink.) Having a clear view of the future – and how much you
can impact that future – is the most important information you
can have when purchasing a business. If you have to pay 3x
earnings, and yet you believe you can double the business in
twelve months, that is a good deal. If you have to pay 10x
earnings, and you expect 10% growth – it's going to take a very
long time to make any money on the deal.

If you think the industry is going to take off, or you can
expand revenues rapidly and flip the business – you may be
acquiring in to a gold mine.

Even if it doesn't work out exactly, you must have some view of
the future.

This view includes industry trends, the overall market,
regulations, societal changes, technical trends, as well as your
ability to grow this particular business through better sales,
improved marketing, more products, effective service, documented
systems, and increased an capital base. Each of these
enhancements can dramatically improve the existing business.

Just because you don't make these mistakes doesn't mean you
will be successful, but avoiding them will definitely increase
the odds in your favor.

There are many different types of credit card offers out there
today. You can find debit card offers, pre-paid credit card
deals, credit cards with rewards programs, credit cards with
credit line programs and more. Let's take a quick look at some
of the more popular programs out there today online and off.

Debit Card Programs

Some financial institutions have credit cards attached to
checking accounts with debit card programs. When you charge
something in this manner, the funds are deducted form your
checking account. While not bad, make sure you have overdraft
protection, as you could easily overdraw your checking account
if you don't keep good records. Plus some places charge fees for
using debit cards, so ask before you pay in this manner.

Pre-Paid Credit Card Programs

One of the more popular programs today is the pre-paid credit
card. Great for college kids, people form other countries,
gifts, people with no or poor credit history and more, these
offer great value. With pre-paid cards, you buy them, add to the
credit lines (of some, not all) and use until the entire account
is used up. Use these online and off for better safety than
using your own personal private number with contact info, etc.
linking to your account with larger limits.

Invite relatives to contribute funds for college kids and
newlyweds. Toss away when used or add funds. These are neat
credit card programs. Just watch fees, as some charge a monthly
fee until they are used up.

Credit Cards with Rewards Programs

Many credit cards today come with rewards programs. You may
earn a certain percentage off the price of gas, for example, and
earn points towards car accessories or trips with every dollar
charged. Check into fees with these, as many try to catch you
with higher interest rates and yearly maintenance fees, where it
might be of more value to skip all the goodies and go for a
lower rate with no annual fees, etc.

Credit Cards with Line of Credit

Credit cards can be basically one of two types in this
category. For those new to credit, financial institutions may
offer a credit card that is linked to an amount you have on
deposit with them, thus drawing on your own reserve funds with
each charge. Then after you have established a good history with
them, they may increase your credit line and allow you to borrow
against a line with their bank.

Another type is a credit card attached to a line of credit from
say your second mortgage. Then you are borrowing against funds
established against your mortgage loan and need to repay them as
you would your first mortgage.

So before jumping into a credit card program, consider all of
the many options out there today. Check into all fees, rewards,
etc. involved and even seek guidance form you local banker for
help.

Pssst!

Have you heard?

There's a hormone called HCG that causes you to lose tons of
weight when you inject it. I know you've been looking to drop a
few pounds so I'm gonna give you my source. Call this toll free
number and talk to my guy about setting up an appointment. Sure,
it'll cost you a bundle, but what's money compared to looking
great?

You're reading this article right now because you have been
excited by the possibility of a quick weight loss treatment that
supposedly makes those extra pounds melt away like magic.

The HCG protocol for weight loss is one of the hottest fads
right now largely due to it being mentioned in a book by a
dubious author named Kevin Trudeau. I call him dubious because
he has several FTC violations, has served prison time for fraud
and has many unhappy customers – just do a search for his name
and you'll see for yourself.

Anyway, Kevin wants you to believe that HCG is some kind of new
treatment that has just been discovered to work miracles. In
fact, HCG has been studied numerous times to see if it really
does help people lose weight. These studies were done back in
the 1970s, so this isn't anything new.

The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA)
concluded that, "There was no statistically significant
difference between those receiving HCG vs. placebo during any
phase of this study."

Other studies came to the same conclusion: that there is no
scientific evidence to support the claims that HCG helps people
to lose weight. However, since HCG is a hormone found naturally
in the body, there are some doctors who still insist that it
does work for weight loss.

In 1974, the U.S. FDA banned the use of HCG as a weight loss
remedy, it is still allowed to be used as a fertility treatment.
Therefore, if you live in the United States, you'll find it
difficult to get HCG shots for losing weight. There are
supposedly a few clinics here in the U.S. that administer the
shots for weight loss, but finding one will be time consuming.
These clinics are few and far between and the shot regimen is
expensive.

If you do choose to buy HCG from another country or black
market source, please know that you are risking your health. I
would recommend that you not take HCG on your own to lose
weight, since you don't know what kind of formulation you'll be
getting. You should only get the injections under a health
professional's care.

The side effects associated with HCG injections are:

* Abdominal discomfort
* Fatigue
* Headache
* Irritability
* Sore breasts
* Water Retention

If you were to ask me, I would say that you should absolutely
not get HCG injections to help you lose weight. Messing around
with hormones can have an adverse effect on your body, not to
mention that there's no real proof that you'll lose weight any
quicker than if you adjusted your eating and exercised more.

I think you'll do much better by following a healthy eating
plan, which includes adding some low-impact exercise to your
daily routine. The thing to remember is that weight loss starts
in your head. The best weight loss solution is one where you
decide to make a permanent commitment to yourself to live your
life healthier and happier.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
No money down property is a deal which is made without spending
(or spending very little) money. It is done by using the money
source from a different lender or investors but not your own
funds.

This is also referred to as a `no money down' loan. This can be
achieved by using the facilities like a loan, credit card, 100%
+ mortgage, drawn down facilities, gifted deposits, loan to
value lenders or re-mortgaging a property. Points to consider
about no money down property are:

1) Nearly anyone can obtain a `no money down property' deal.
For example, although this can be a little difficult, people
with a bad credit rating can find a number of lenders who are
eager to lend, even though their rates may be higher.

2) Before the year 2000, the trend `Buy to Let' was not set but
after 2005 it has taken roots. There are various finance
facilities available. One can select the one which suits and is
comfortable. It is quite possible to loose a purchase if you are
unable to prove to your lender that the funds are not your own.

3) One way to make a profit using no money down property is to
flip the properties. In this, a buyer signs a contract for the
property and assigns the contract to another buyer for profit.
The buyer pays the money that has been received from the deal to
the original seller.

4) Another way is the lease option. The buyer leases the
property for a certain period of time at a set price to buy. The
buyer will pay opt for deposit option which is non-refundable
and a monthly rent which is higher. A portion of monthly rent is
used to pay the principal of mortgage. This results in faster
equity growth of the property. When the buyer conducts the
option to purchase at the end of the lease period, the optional
deposit will be deducted from the selling price. Since the buyer
has equity in the house from it, he does not have to pay the
down payment.

5) There are also down payment grant programs available. In
these programs the home sellers pay the down payment for buyers.
This strategy makes their houses more marketable and sellable.
After sellers pay the down payment, the buyer never has to pay
it back to the seller.

6) In buying and selling property privately, some sellers sell
the property at an inflated price. This enables the buyer to
obtain a bigger loan (85% of purchase price is normal). The
seller then passes the difference to the buyer who pays it to
his solicitor as the deposit and then it goes back to the
seller. The total effect is property with no money down.

7) Some lenders offer loan to value and not loan to purchase
prices. Suppose you are buying a property at £70,000 which is
valued at £100,000, for example, then you get the funding for
85% of the value. As the lending is based upon the value and not
on purchase price you get £85,000.

While practicing these methods if you are not open and honest
with your lenders, things could go wrong and you could loose the
offer of financing. So do your homework and get help as needed.

Cheshire's county town is the historic Chester, one of the
United Kingdom's best preserved medieval walled cities.

When you visit the city of Chester, you'll almost certainly
pass through these medieval city walls. Although there is
evidence that they have been in existence in some form since
Roman times, they have been replaced and repaired numerous times
since those days.

Of course, there is more to do when you visit Chester than just
examine its walls!

When you are deciding on your hotel to stay in when you spend
some time in the city, you should check whether it is inside the
city walls or outside. There is plenty of accommodation in and
around the city at prices to suit all budgets, although you
should book early if your stay coincides with one of the various
festivals that Chester is host to.

If your stay is in the summer, you should check out the annual
Chester Music Festival which has now been running for some 30
years. There is plenty of variety in the music that gets played
each year, so you should check out what's being planned for your
visit.

Midsummer in Chester sees the Watch Parade, which has been
happening at the summer solstice since around 1195. The parade
is a spectacular site and to maximize the number of people who
are able to witness it, it is now held on the Saturday closest
to midsummer. You'll be able to watch the decorated floats as
they progress through the city's narrow streets, ending outside
the Town Hall where you can watch jugglers, fire breathers and
dancing being performed.

Chester also hosts a series of Mystery Plays. These have been
delighting audiences since at least 1422. The plays themselves
are based on biblical stories and the performances take place in
the city every five years.

Whilst football isn't the strong point of the city, they do
have a professional club: Chester City, who play at the Deva
Stadium. Depending on where you are in the stadium, you could be
in either England or Wales as the grounds straddle both
countries.

Basketball fans can maybe take in a game featuring the Cheshire
Jets at the Northgate Arena. There are also regular games from
the Wheelchair Jets, Chester's very own wheelchair basketball
team.

The Chester Romans are the local American Football team, so if
you're visiting the city from the USA there's no need to get
nostalgic about a lack of your local sport!

If you have children with you on your visit, you may want to
watch the local rowers and canoeists paddle down the River Dee.
Or you may prefer to view the less organized sight of the annual
charity raft race.

Another way you can reach Chester is on a canal boat. You can
take your hire boat and moor right in the centre of the city,
which gives a totally different viewpoint and is a leisurely way
to tour the area and see places that were still commercially
using the canal until as recently as the late 1950s.

Located near enough in the centre of England, one of
Birmingham's many claims to fame is that is it Britain's second
largest city with around a million people living and working
there. The city has a diverse mixture of cultures and there is a
plethora of things to keep you occupied during your visit.

Birmingham's canal network works its way across the whole city.
With more miles of canal than Venice, albeit without gondolas,
you can drift back to the olden days by either renting a canal
boat and exploring the routes that used to be essential for
trade in the city or just simply watching the colourful
narrowboats that are a constantly changing feature of the city.

If you want to watch canal boats as they are moored or as they
maneuver through narrow canal locks, one of the best places to
start is the recently redeveloped Brindley Place. Millions of
pounds have been spent on this and the investment shows. In
recent years, the area has become one of the essential places to
visit whether you want to have a quiet drink in one of the
canal-side pubs or eat a leisurely meal in the wide choice of
restaurants at Brindleyplace. Because the development is so
central, it is almost certain to be within easy reach of your
chosen hotel. If not, it will probably only be a short taxi ride
away.

Close by is Central Square. This is a large open space that
regularly holds open air events and, if you time your stay in
Birmingham right, the annual Arts Fest which, as its name
implies, is a festival dedicated to the various arts.

Whilst continental style lager seems to have taken over as the
"traditional" beer of England, Birmingham still keeps up with
its long tradition of local ales and breweries. Indeed, the
modern trend of micro breweries has seen this industry start to
thrive again and fans of real British ale will be astounded at
the different brews available.

Anyone who has read J R R Tolkein's epic novel "The Lord Of The
Rings" will want to explore the parts of Birmingham that
inspired the author during the formative years that he spent in
the city. These include the 96 foot tall Perrott's Folly – an
ancient monument that was built by local land owner John Perrott
some 250 years ago. It is generally thought that this tower was
the inspiration for the towers that are regular features of
Tolkien's novel.

As you would expect from such a diverse city, there is also a
wide variety of hotels and guest houses for you to stay in on
your next visit. These range in size from small, friendly bed
and breakfasts – often to be found in the quieter suburbs of the
city – right the way through to the large skyscrapers that
define many of the world's modern hotels. If there is a large
show at the nearby National Exhibition Centre or a big
conference somewhere in the city, these bigger places will fill
up fast with delegates. But providing you broaden your search to
some of the other places to stay, there should be no problem in
finding suitable accommodation for your visit.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
The new town of Milton Keynes (or actually new city, to be more
correct) is easy to get to, around 45 miles north west of London
and within easy reach of both Oxford and Cambridge.

When the city was designed, it was laid out on a grid system.
Which makes navigating your way around the city very easy, if
slightly boring compared with the usual road layout in towns
across most of the rest of England. The town also boasts green
side with a wide network of cycleways – these follow quite
leisurely routes, so you could keep fit whilst you explore the
city if the mood takes you.

Whether you are visiting Milton Keynes socially or as part of a
business trip, there are lots of things to see and do.

Music fans will want to make sure that their trip coincides
with a concert at the open air Milton Keynes National Bowl. This
former clay pit has been turned into a large amphitheatre which
can hold up to 65,000 concert goers. The hall of fame of artists
who have played the venue includes David Bowie, Alice Cooper,
Placebo and even the heavy metal bands Megadeth and Metallica.

Shoppers will be delighted at the shopping malls that make up
part of the centre of the city. Because Milton Keynes has been
"zoned" from the outset, you'll find the facilities are much
more logically distributed here than they are in the rest of the
UK. This makes finding the particular store you want easy but
takes out some of the surprise finds that are associated with
many of England's other towns.

Despite the relatively flat nature of the surrounding
landscape, the city boasts its own indoor ski slope complete
with real snow rather than the artificial surfaces that most
English ski slopes have to make do with. The set of Xscape
buildings has a striking design – you're sure to be able to spot
them! If you are more adventurous, the building is also home to
an indoor skydiving centre.

Eating and drinking is well catered for. The Theatre District
has plenty of places to eat before or after the shows. Or, of
course, during them if you prefer not to watch a play.

Many of the city's restaurants are part of national chains but
you can find smaller, independent places to eat in the nearby
villages of Stony Stratford, Fenny Stratford and others. These
are also home to some of the city's more lively and crowded
pubs. The more traditional drinking establishments can be found
in places such as Stony Stratford high street.

As you would expect, there is a wide choice places to stay in
Milton Keynes. Although with such a modern city, you may be
pleasantly surprised to find that it is still perfectly possible
to find smaller bed and breakfasts as well as the more usual
large hotels.

Depending on the direction you approach the city from, you may
well get to see the famous "concrete cows". Which are actually
not mainly made of concrete – they were primarily assembled from
lots of scraps and then encased in concrete that was reinforced
with fibre glass. As is to be expected from any modern
sculpture, the set of three concrete cows and their three calves
attract a mixed reaction and at times have attracted graffiti
and vandalism.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Many members of my mother's generation did not even attend
kindergarten. Many members of my generation did not even attend
preschool. With my son's generation preschool has become a
necessary part of preparation for formal education. In fact for
most children, formal education actually begins with preschool.
That does not mean that preschool education begins the first day
of preschool. In fact, if you want your child to successful in
preschool and beyond then you must prepare your child for
preschool. What are some of the things you will need to teach
your preschooler?

First and foremost you must help your child become as
independent as possible. This means toilet training and basic
hygiene as well as the ability to dress themselves. Prepare your
child mentally and emotionally for the idea of independence from
you and other primary caregivers. Preschool teachers are
obviously caring and helpful but they will not be able to give
the same level of attention many children are accustomed to from
their primary caregiver.

There are also some basic concepts that children must learn.
These lessons will be solidified during preschool but if a child
grasps them before preschool that is even better. This includes
knowledge of colors and shapes. Do not spend a lot of time
drilling this knowledge into your child, but instead casually
introduce it to your child through daily life. Name the colors
of the clothes your child will wear that day. Point out various
shapes during the day or even cut food into a shape of the day.

Begin working with your toddler early to introduce the letters
of the alphabet and then as those are mastered begin introducing
the beginning letter sounds. Again, make these lessons fun and
casual as you go about your daily routine. Similarly, begin
working on counting as you cook, clean and dress.

Why must you prepare your preschooler for preschool? As I
pointed out in the opening paragraph, the educational bar is
continually being raised. Kindergarten is no longer about
preparation. Real education goals are set and children learn
reading and math. They begin learning several reading concepts
and are expected to count to 100 in kindergarten. First grade
students are reading and performing complex math and money
problems. Children can enter preschool without any knowledge of
independence, colors, shapes, letters, and numbers, but a head
start can help them be more successful in preschool and then
later in formal education.

A child who starts kindergarten not knowing these concepts will
be behind and may never get caught up. Even worse, this late
start will destroy the child's self esteem and confidence as
well as cause the child to hate school and learning. Some
children can overcome these challenges and go on to become
successful but all too many children continue to fail throughout
school and life. Which would you rather for your child's future?
If you want your child to succeed in preschool, formal
education, and life then you should work on the key concepts
long before schooling starts.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
It is said that real learning starts at the graduate level of
education. At this level, you are required to do more in-depth
research and study. Society expects more out of you.

But are there benefits for the individual that embarks on this
level of study? The answer is indeed yes. In this article, I
discuss the benefits of getting a graduate masters degree in
criminal justice.

With no particular importance attached to the order of
presentation, they are:

1. A master's degree in criminal justice prepares you for
leadership, administrative, and management positions in the
criminal justice system. You will become a leader,
administrator, and manager of such criminal justice systems as
the courts, correctional facilities, law enforcement
organizations, private and public security organizations.

This gives you the power to chart the direction of such
organizations. You will set the pace for other criminal justice
personnel. You will be looked upon to set ethical standards and
develop new methods of tackling criminal justice problems and
issues.

This is just reward for attaining this level of education. It
is a position and benefit that should not be taken lightly. The
right person will use it to become an agent of change for the
good of society.

2. It goes without saying that being leader, administrator, and
manager of criminal justice organizations comes with the benefit
of more money. A master degree holder makes $61,000 per year to
start. This is compared to about $58,000 per year for a bachelor
degree holder. When you attain the leadership position I
discussed above, you stand to make well over $100,000 per year.
A master degree in criminal justice does indeed have its
rewards.

3. A masters degree in criminal justice gives you the
opportunity to specialize in one area of criminal justice. While
a bachelor degree program is broad in nature, a master degree
program gives you the chance to become an expert in one area of
criminal justice.

For example, you can get a masters degree in criminal justice
with specialization in corrections. Your research and study will
give you the opportunity to do in-depth study and analysis of
the correctional system. Needless to say, with this type of
in-depth study, you will come to be an expert in corrections.

This will put you in a position to benefit as your opinion is
sought in issues relating to corrections. You maybe called to
give your expert opinion in legal and legislative issues
concerning corrections. You can make money as a consultant in
such situations.

There you have it…..the benefits of getting a masters degree in
criminal justice. What I have outlined above is by no means
exhaustive. There are other benefits to getting this degree.
Covering all of them is beyond what I can do in this short
article. If you are still interested in finding out more
benefits of getting a master degree in criminal justice, I urge
you to look into it some more. You can do this by visiting
websites that deal with the subject in more detail.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Understanding healthy eating has become a huge challenge in our
society. Our ancestors living thousands of years ago did not
have this challenge. They ate what grew and what they could
catch. Before the advent of agriculture, people ate what was
naturally supplied.

While I have been studying nutrition for 46 years, I am not an
expert, since I am not a scientist and have not done my own
research. What I share with you comes from my personal
experience with my children and grandchildren.

Rather than laying out a specific way of eating, I am going to
write about what I have learned about what NOT to eat.

Below is a partial list of things not to feed your children:

Sugar

Corn syrup

Glucose syrup

Wheat syrup

Rice syrup

Potato starch

Modified food starch

White foods - white bread, white rice, rice milk, white pastas,
white wheat flour

Processed grains

French fries

Sodas

Trans-fats

Vegetable oils other than coconut and olive oil

Preservatives and food colorings - or anything that you can't
pronounce!

You might not think you are feeding your children many of
these, but if you look at the labels, you will find many of
these non-foods in packaged and refined products. In fact, most
refined foods will contain one or more of these items.

For your children to be healthy, they have to be eating foods
that are nutrient dense. Not only do none of the above items
have any nutrient value, they rob the body of nutrients,
creating the weight and health problems that are endemic to our
society.

What are the nutrient-dense foods? The most nutrient dense
foods are organically grown vegetables. Next are fruits,
followed by beans, legumes, whole grains, nuts and seeds - in
moderation. If you are not a vegetarian, highly nutritious forms
of animal protein are organically fed grass-finished beef and
lamb (grain-finishing beef and lamb changes the composition of
the fat and causes many health problems), free-range organic
poultry, and organic free-range eggs. Mercury-free fish is very
healthy, as the oil provides the important omega-3s.

Regarding dairy products: pasteurization kills the enzymes in
dairy and can cause problems such as asthma and allergies.
Pasteurization also causes milk and other dairy to become
difficult to digest, also contributing to illness. Unless you
can get very clean, raw organic milk and cheese from
grass-finished cows, it is better to avoid dairy. Due to the
difficulties in absorption of pasteurized dairy, it is not a
good source of calcium - despite what the dairy industry claims.
My children were brought up on raw Alta-Dena dairy products and
did very well on them.

The right kinds of fats are also important. Coconut oil is the
best to cook with and olive oil is the best in salad dressings.

How do get your children to eat like this? The only way I know
of, which is what I did when my three children were growing up,
is to eat this way yourself. I chose not to have anything in the
house that I didn't want them to eat, so everything they ate was
healthy while they were in the house. I never insisted that they
eat. I just put the healthy food out and they ate as much or as
little as they wanted to eat.

It is also important to determine you own and your children's
metabolic type, which you can do by reading William Wolcott's
"The Metabolic Typing Diet." This will help you to know if your
child does better on animal protein or vegetable protein. While
it is important to have healthy choices in the house, it is
equally important not to insist that your child eat the way you
do. You might be a rapid metabolizer who needs a lot of meat,
while your child might be a slow metabolizer who needs more
vegetable protein.

If you want to be healthy and have healthy children, the very
best thing to do is read as much as you can about healthy
eating, and then decide for yourself what you want to do for
your family.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Track lighting has been around for years but what have changed
most about these systems are the track lighting fixtures
themselves.

In the past, the fittings that came with the lighting system
were big and bulky. People did not care for that after a while
and wanted something more attractive and more quaint.

Look for Fixtures with Inbuilt Transformers

Transformers are now built in the light fittings themselves and
that is how traditional track lighting converts to low voltage
fixtures. For example, the wall plugs that you commonly have at
home have usually been converted from a line voltage to a much
safer transformer, basically making them safer for this type of
use.

Line voltage is used in your wall plug outlets throughout your
home. And line voltage is the power that runs through homes and
office most everywhere. So when you are working with this type
of lighting you have to remember that there is a degree of
voltage power running through it.

Shop Around for Smaller Track Fixtures

It is also important to remember that when people speak of low
voltage track systems they usually refer to the fixtures
themselves.

Track lighting fixtures have seen an emergence of low voltage
fixtures mainly because consumers wanted smaller track fixtures
in their homes. The smaller sizes have allowed for the
production of many new compact fixture styles for both track
heads as well as pendants.

Use Energy-Efficient Halogen Bulbs

In addition, low voltage fixtures use halogen bulbs which
produce a different type of light, one that is crisp and white
versus the yellowish light that is projected from the typical
incandescent light bulb.

They also use a lot less power for the same amount of light.

Identify The Lighting Type You are Installing

Track lighting falls into three categories - H, J, and L types.
If you plan to work on this project yourself, you need to
identify which type you are working with first of all.

If you are installing new then it is strongly suggested that
you use the H type because it is newer and has more design
advantages.

Be Aware of Limitations

There are still some minor limitations on track lighting and
the fixtures regardless of how far it has advanced. One
limitation is that it is impossible to dim one light
independently. If you have a row of track lights on a dimmer
switch, they have to be dimmed together rather than
individually.

The track lighting fixtures are a very important part of the
whole lighting scenario and they will eventually be what
everyone who enters your home will see.

Of course, you will want to integrate them with your décor and
at the same time offer some versatility. There are really many
fixtures to choose from and you will want to make sure that you
choose the perfect ones.

The fixtures do not all have to be the same as many people have
been known to mix them up a bit and they look just as great. Go
with whatever works for you and you will more than likely end up
with the result that is perfect for you.
