A cordless phone gives you the freedom to move around the
house, while talking over the phone. This is because it uses a
feature in which the conversation is transferred between the
handset and the base, through radio waves. It is a must to buy
the perfect type of cordless that would aptly suit the need.

Caller id is one of the first things to be noted while buying a
cordless. Nowadays almost all the phones come with this feature.
This is very useful feature that allows knowing who is calling
and also gives the option to take a call only if needed.
Cordless phones also can be used in more than a line, if more
than one handset is available, up to 12 lines. There are also
phones that come with more than one handset, with the base being
the same. This can come up to 8 sets and some also have separate
voice mails facilities for each.

Other options like redial, mostly the last number dialed,
speaker phone options, which allow hands-free talking, are also
available. The speaker phone facility is usually available in
the base of the cordless and not in the cordless phone as such.
Some keypads come with a backlight that helps in figuring out
the numbers, even in the dark. Also options like phone mute is
also available, in case we do not want the other user to hear
what is happening this side. A phone hold option is also
available in such phones that help to keep a caller on hold,
when another call comes, and then coming back to the first
caller, without disconnecting the call.

Sometimes, especially when more than 2 users want to talk to
each other, a conference option serves as a very good help. This
helps more than 2 people to communicate and latest phones have
this option. There are also phones that have 2 keypads, one on
the cordless and the other on the base of the cordless. This
option lets one call even on the base of the phone. Memory is
another important feature in a cordless phone and not all phones
have this option. This option allows entitling one telephone
number to a particular number like 1, 2 etc and when that number
has to be dialed, it is enough to dial just that number, and the
whole number gets dialed.

Some phones are so very sophisticated that they also have
headset jacks to them that help to listen and talk over a
headset. Intercom facilities are also available in cordless
phones nowadays. This facility allows talking from the base to
the handset, within a specified distance. Also, if after
talking, if the cordless is placed somewhere and it is not
traceable, then a beep sound can be generated from the base to
the cordless, that allows identifying where the cordless is!
Cordless phones also come with Nickel-Metal Hydride battery that
lasts longer than any other type of battery, thus giving long
talking hours and standby time.

Another very useful feature is that certain phones have
passwords as locks that allow making calls only after the
password is inserted. This is a very useful feature as it allows
access only to authorized callers. Frequencies are also to be
considered while buying such phone. The phones that have higher
frequencies cost more but have better sound clarity and
audibility. However, it is necessary to take care not to fall
prey to the ads that manufacturers make, as almost always the
frequencies are much less than what is promised! Also cordless'
with digital phone answering techniques are also available in
the market, making it easy to leave a message back, when the
owner is not at home. This along with a delete button allows
deleting only the particular message that has been listened to.

With so many outstanding features and even more, a cordless
phone is definitely a useful friend and companion! Choosing it
sensibly and with precise judgment is very essential.

Just as you may have noticed that your automobile runs more
smoothly after a fresh new oil change, the same principle works
for your furnace, when it comes to a new or clean furnace
filter. The main component for both hot water and forced air
heating units is called a heat exchanger. The purpose of this
nifty component is to take the heat that is produced by burning
fuel in your furnace, and to transfer it into the water or air
so that it can be distributed through the entire house. The heat
exchanger is traditionally concealed from view in hot water
heating systems, and is only occasionally visible in forced air
systems.

If you look at a modern forced-air gasoline-powered furnace,
here is everything that you will find. First, you will find a
solid-state furnace control, which has a fan assembly and is
visible in the power rear of the furnace. Next, you will find a
draft inducer, which provides fan-forced exhaust. Third, you
will find both an igniter, and a flame sensor, because your
furnace is actually running on firepower. Next, you will find
the gas valve and manifold, along with gas burners. On the
outside of all of this you will have the heat exchanger,
followed by furnace filters or other air filters. Keep in mind,
several aspects of this concept will vary based on the model of
furnace that you use, though some things will remain the same,
including the igniter, the furnace filter and the heat
exchanger.
Learn more about keeping your air filters clean by visiting
http://www.home-air-care.com/furnace.htm.

The thing that makes heat exchangers malfunction or inoperative
in general is the development of a hole, crack or warping that
allows hot water to escape, or combustion exhaust to escape into
the home's interior air. Heat exchangers do eventually crack or
warp over time simply because of the constant heating and
cooling that the system experiences throughout the year.
However, most heat exchangers can last a significant amount of
time, often past their predicted life span depending on whether
or not conditions are ideal. Regular cleaning and maintenance of
the furnace do play a large part in determining the life
expectancy of a heat exchanger, as well as the environment that
exists around the furnace unit. Get more information on how to
winterize your home with clean furnace filters at
http://www.appraisalmatters.com/WinterizeYourHome.

Another heavy contributor to whether or not heat exchangers
live out their lifespan properly is reduced airflow, which comes
as a result of dirty furnace filters, dirty fan blades,
obstructed air vents and dirty duct work. All of these factors
contribute to wear on the fan motors, which can significantly
reduce the efficiency of the furnace, prematurely burning out
the heat exchanger as well. Both fuel-fired and forced-air
furnace types are prone to overheating in response to airflow
obstructions. Most modern furnaces are built in a way that
allows them to shut down if temperatures become unreasonably
high based on a dirty or overused furnace filter. However, if
the internal temperature elevation caused by dirt and debris is
only moderate, the furnace may not switch off but the heat may
still be enough to cause metal fatigue to the head exchanger,
which can cause serious issues down along the line. Get more
informative tips on how to keep your furnace filters clean by
checking out
http://www.creativehomemaking.com/cleaning/furnace-air-filters.shtml.

The best way to protect yourself from premature burn out of the
heat exchanger in your furnace is to have an annual inspection
and a monthly cleaning of your furnace filters. The exam, which
should be conducted by a licensed mechanic, should be relatively
inexpensive while affording you a great deal of peace of mind.
Another useful innovation is the carbon monoxide or CO detector,
which is an easy and inexpensive way to protect yourself against
exhaust leaks from your furnace.

As any style enthusiast will tell you, the addition of
beautiful jewelry can accentuate outfits of all varieties; from
casual to elegant and everywhere in between. Crystal jewelry, as
many jewelry lovers continue to discover, has an exceptional
ability to transform an outfit – simple and comfortable becomes
classy; formal becomes exceptional. It's no wonder that crystal
jewelry continues to gain popularity among traditionalists and
trend-setters alike.

Crystal can be distinguished from other materials by its lead
content. This lead adds a weight to crystal but also gives it
flexibility; the lead content actually makes crystal quite soft
and pliable, allowing it to be cut and molded into a variety of
styles. It is for this reason that crystal is so popular in the
making of decorative and functional items for around the house.
It is used quite often in the making of wine glasses, serving
pieces, picture frames, and vases. People recognize the elegance
that crystal brings to a room and appreciate its sturdiness and
sparkle power. The same can be said for crystal jewelry. It is
versatile, sturdy, and always lovely.

Crystal jewelry can mean anything from earring to necklaces and
everything in between. Manufacturers of crystal jewelry are able
to cut it into unique shapes that creatively reflect light; and
the variations of style this gives consumers makes crystal
jewelry inordinately popular. The choices are endless – from
clear drop earrings to a colored crystal necklace – crystal
jewelry can elevate an outfit to new levels of elegance and
sophistication.

The other benefits of crystal jewelry are its durability and
affordability. Crystal jewelry is affordably priced and
therefore easy to replace; you don't have to be concerned that
you will lose or break crystal jewelry as you would with
diamonds or other precious gems.

You can find crystal jewelry at high-end department stores,
large retail outlets, and even in area jewelry stores. You may
also want to check out antique stores to find beautiful and
unique crystal jewelry.

Crystal jewelry revolutionizes your wardrobe and infuses your
own personality and style into all of your clothing choices.

You have decided you want to take a winter vacation in Lake
Tahoe, and as all the reviews of the area suggest, it is a good
choice. But now, how do you get the best deal? Luckily, for the
savvy traveler, "Ski & Stay" Packages are a staple of most Ski
resorts and winter vacationing towns. "Ski & Stay" Packages are
special deals that hotels, resorts, and even local towns and
businesses put packages together to get visitors to not only
stay in local hotels and eat at local eateries, but visit key
area recreational activities. During the winter months, ski
towns, like Lake Tahoe (both North and South Shore) offer tons
of different tempting ski, snowboarding, snowboarding, spa, and
shopping "Ski & Stay" packages.

The easiest way, for the internet savvy traveler, to discover a
vast array of packages it to use your favorite search engine and
search: Lake Tahoe Ski & Stay packages. Literally hundreds of
sites pop up. Lots of the local hotels and time-share resorts
have their own "Ski & Stay" specials on their sites.

Click on the Squaw Valley link and there you are, on one of
Tahoe's most famous resorts and the site of the 1960 Olympic
Winter Games. This site has many different packages ranging from
the $122.00 per person, per night package that includes two days
of unlimited skiing at Squaw Valley and two nights stay at
America's Best Value Inn in Tahoe City to the more deluxe Ski,
Spa, and Wine Tasting package from $553.00 per person for two
nights. This package includes two nights of lodging at the base
of the Squaw Valley Mountain and two days of unlimited skiing.
Breakfast is included each morning and a facial or a massage per
person and a wine-tasting event are included in the price.

If you visit www.northstarattahoe.com and look on the main
page, there is an advertisement for "Stay & Ski" packages, click
on the link, and you can see the packages they are featuring at
that time. The day I searched, they had several packages ranging
fro $103 a day per person to an American Express package that
offered a free night's stay with the purchase of three. North
Star was also adding a little sugar to the package pot by adding
a $25.00 gift certificate (per person) to be spent at the resort
and lift tickets being exchangeable for cross-country trail
passes. The lodging also includes access to the recreational
facilities, fitness center, pool, spa, and a game room.

Not all the resorts call the packages "Ski & Stay" (even though
many do) but Heavenly Resort, just call them vacation packages,
but they are essentially the same idea. If you go to
skiheavenly.com, not only can you see a live webcam of the snow
and skiers at Heavenly, you can also search for packages and be
redirected to a page that shows all sorts of vacation and
savings packages that Heavenly is offering. They have a "BIG
SNOW PACKAGE" offering five nights four days at $389. The great
thing about the Heavenly website is it also has custom plans
that you can create working with one of their agents and
exclusive online deals.

Not only the resorts offer great packages online, but also
hotels in nearby Reno and Carson City also have "Ski & Stay"
packages that include transportation to the nearest ski resorts,
not the mention the deals and packages the departments of
tourism for Nevada, California, city of Reno, city of Tahoe, and
city of Carson City have cooked up… And they all can be accessed
through a simple engine search.

If you happen not to be internet savvy, that does not make your
Ski & Stay options non-existent, just a little bit harder to
track down. Most of the hotels, tourism groups, and resorts have
little pamphlets scattered all over the airport, restaurants,
and any visitor center in the Reno/Tahoe area. But if you want
to plan something before you get there, you could start with
calling the Reno/Tahoe tourism board (officially called Visit
Reno Tahoe) and they will gladly send you all the pamphlets that
they have in stock. I called information and was given the 800
number and a local number .800.FOR.RENO
(800.367.7366)775.827.7600. when I called, I was greeted
cheerfully and when I said I was looking for pamphlets and
brochures on "Ski & Stay" packages, I was told they had plenty
of great deals and information they could send me. They then
asked a few questions about my interests in the area, and my
name, address, and phone number, and that quick and easy, I had
a bulging envelope of brochures on their way to my house! Local
travel agencies also have information, but the deals are a
little bit more outdated, and of course, include a travel agency
commission. But you could always go and get a handful of
brochures and then follow up booking and new pricing information
on your own!

Either way you get the "Ski & Stay" package information, it is
a great way to visit Lake Tahoe on a budget and get some coupons
and passes for things that you might not normally visit, making
your vacation all the more memorable and rich! And isn't that
really the point?

Lets be honest, everyone feels depressed at some time during
their lives. Circumstances and life events can sometimes propel
us into this state as if we have little or no control over being
there. Here's the thing, there are times when feeling depressed
is appropriate, when you should feel glum or grumpy or angry,
sometimes it is completely right that you should be there. It
begins to become a problem when you spend too much time there-
either because you can't shake it off and spend prolonged
periods feeling bad, or because you are going there easily and
regularly- too regularly, even when your circumstances are
generally good.

When someone is feeling very depressed you can hear it and see
it in them, you might even get a vibe from them that something
just isn't quite right. There are a number of ways of spotting
it- The tone of their voice coupled with the language that they
are using, typically will be very negative, plus their bodies
will look un enthused, tired and sickly (and they will also
probably feel that way.)The danger with being in this state is
that like anything in life, the more you practice it, the better
you get at it, so every time you revisit that emotional state
(if you are going there a lot) you can get into it quicker and
experience the feeling to a greater intensity. What is happening
is that the neural networks within the nervous system that
relate to the state of depression, become stronger. If you think
of a motorway as an example, the roads are well traveled and
strong, so the traffic can move at speed. If the neural network
is the motorway and the cars are the information that tell you
to feel depressed, you can see how this becomes greatly enforced
and fast. If the happy feelings are like an overgrown country
lane, you'll understand that it's less easy for the traffic to
travel down that road, but the more and more the traffic does
travel on that path instead, the easier that road becomes to be
on. The less frequently you use your depression "motorways" the
more overgrown and out of use they become. So this is how you
begin to do it:

Firstly, use the wheel of life on the "try it you might like
it" page of the People Building Website. Use this to identify
which areas of your life are giving you the most trouble. It's
always a good idea to think of your wheel of life as a bicycle
wheel- so if it's not looking very well rounded you can expect
to get a bit of a bumpy ride! Then it is time to find yourself a
good coach, and preferably someone who can offer you some
therapeutic help for the areas of your life that challenge you
and to help keep you in a peak state. NLP in St Albans can be
particularly effective for providing you with empowerment, but
beware, a good NLP practitioner in St Albans will not let you
blame others for the way you are feeling. The point of feeling
empowered is that you start to think about controlling your
emotions, instead of having them controlling you. Putting
outside influences in charge of the way that you feel doesn't
help you to feel empowered and in control. That's not to say
that they will not listen or be sympathetic, but their job is to
help you create some positive changes and help you stay in a
better state, not to keep going over all the reasons why you
should be feeling bad.

Here are 3 major things to consider when eliminating depression

1) The mind

Where's you head at? What do you spend most of your time
thinking about? day dreaming about? Remembering about? Quality
stuff that makes you feel good or bad stuff that- guess what-
makes you feel bad.

2) The body

Are you drinking enough water? Are you eating healthy food? Do
you get enough sleep? Remember that your body is a lab filled up
with chemicals but it doesn't run on its own, you are
responsible for maintaining it's equilibrium by eating and
drinking the right stuff. Your emotions are created by hormones,
hormones are chemicals. It makes sense that you should provide
the right chemical intake to keep your lab well stocked with
good quality chemical.

3) The spirit

Do you do what makes you feel alive? I meet so many depressed
people who I ask "Do you love your job?" and most of them reply
"No." You have to do things in your life that make you feel
happy in order to be happy. Most of us spend more time at work
than we do with the people we love, so it's really got to be a
great job. Think about what hobbies make you feel good and just
as importantly, take an evaluation of the people you spend your
time with. We become like the people we spend most of our time
with, so if you're around people who are pessimistic or
negative, you can expect to have some of that starting to show
up in your own personality.

Digital Age Effectiveness Secrets
After a careful study of some of the masters of time
management, including Steven R. Covey (Seven Habits Of
Highly Effective People), Roger Merrill (First Things
First), and Timothy Ferriss (4 Hour Work Week) and after
comparing their amazing time management principles to a
highly dysfunctional test candidate (myself) I have
developed three principles that have helped me become much
more effective.

Principle 1. KNOW WHAT YOU SEEK. According to Dr. Covey,
human beings are comprised of four different fundamental
areas: mental, physical, spiritual, and social/ emotional.
Take a sheet of paper, write down the four things, and ask
this question: What one thing could I do, that would bring
the greatest positive improvement in this area?

Next, identify the different "roles" you play in your life.
Things like wife, husband, father, mother, daughter, member
of a community, church or club, entrepreneur, cyclist, etc.
Then ask the question for each of these roles as well. You
now have a list of goals that cover every important area of
your life.

Principle 2. DEVELOP A DAILY AND WEEKLY METHOD OF
OPERATION. (MO). First, throw most of your long range goals
in the trash. They're meaningless. Why? Because they delude
you into thinking that it doesn't matter what you do TODAY.
But today is all you have. How can you possibly reach a
massive goal in five years if you don't do the daily work
necessary to get there? Yet not everything has to be done
on a daily basis, some thing are best performed weekly. For
example, in the role of "husband" I try to have a date once
a week with my wife. Weekly makes more sense than daily.
But monthly isn't near enough! Very few goals outside of
daily or weekly make sense. So take all the goals
determined above, and develop your daily and weekly method
of operation. Write them down on a single piece of paper,
and display it where you will see it often.

Principle 3. REDUCE AND SIMPLIFY. Think you don't have
enough time? Think again. You have the exact same 24 hours
as Bill Gates or Mother Teresa. One major difference
between highly effective and dysfunctional people is simply
in the use of time.

Every morning, look at your daily and weekly MO. Start into
those most important activities you have chosen, and stay
on task until they're all done. Do not let ANYTHING
distract you from each item. And don't multi-task. Do one
at a time through to completion.

There are four things you will have to manage if you want
to do this effectively: e-mail, the telephone, media, and
other people.

E-mail. E-mail is perhaps the biggest time waster in
business today. And very few e-mails are mission critical.
Here are some steps to take in killing this time sucking,
income reducing monster: 1. Turn off the "you've got mail"
sound on your computer.

2. Only check your e-mail twice per day, once per day if
possible. The best times are noon and 4 PM. If once only,
then do it at 4. If you need to, set up an autoresponse
letting people know that you are only checking your e-mail
at 4 PM, and if it's an emergency item to call you on the
phone. When I started checking e-mail twice a day I thought
I would miss out on opportunities or cause grief to
colleagues. Surprisingly, within a week I was down to once
a day, and my personal effectiveness was through the roof.

3. Go through e-mails QUICKLY, and eliminate the junk
aggressively. If you have dysfunctional friends that think
they need to send you stupid "pass this on to 10 people
and..." e-mails, politely ask them to stop sending them.
Unsubscribe from mailing lists. Don't feel obligated to
respond to every e-mail you receive. The delete button is
your friend.

Telephone. Do you feel like a ringing phone is an
emergency? It's not. Believe it or not, the world will
still function just fine without you for a few hours. Learn
to ignore the phone while working on your priorities, and
let voice mail do its job.

Media. Kill it. Cancel your newspaper. It's only filling
your head with negative crap anyway. Stop watching the
news, reading magazines, and celebrity gossip at your home
page. Do not surf the internet idly. As a matter of fact,
set your home page to a non distracting page like
google.com, or a site that helps you achieve one of your
major goals. Think you'll miss out on something big if you
cut media out of your life? Nope. Trust me, if a major
earthquake sinks a continent, you'll hear about it real
quick.

Other people. This one you have to be careful with. What's
the point of life if not for the relationships we have? At
the same time, by following the effectiveness principles
outlined above, you will have more time than ever for loved
ones. The key is to not let others invade your sacred space
when you are working on your MO's. Use the "do not disturb"
button, warn your family before you go into your office,
and take care of interruptions quickly. That will help you
eliminate casual, time wasting interactions, saving time
for the important, planned people time that you create
through being more effective.

The 80/20 rule dictates that 80 percent of the results are
achieved by only 20 percent of the work. By using these
principles you can eliminate the 80 percent, work only on
the 20, and cut your work time down while increasing your
effectiveness and creating time for those things that
matter most in your life!

Working With the Wisdom of the Seasons
Nature's response to the changing seasons offers us wisdom
about how we can make changes in our own lives. These
strategies, which have evolved over the eons, can guide us
to the most effective way to produce the results we are
looking for.

Although our society advocates pushing forward to get
results, nature has a different way—-a way of working
with each season rather than against it.

-- In Fall the goal is to acknowledge that it's time to let
go of the old to prepare for the new.

-- In Winter our focus is to retreat and reflect on what we
want in the coming year.

-- In Spring we take action to make our vision reality.

-- In Summer we celebrate our successes.

You can use the wisdom of the seasons when the calendar
indicates a particular season OR when your personal journey
takes you through a Season. Let me explain...any time you
make a change in your own life, your journey takes you
through several phases that mirror the seasons.

For instance, if you are in the midst of a career change
(or any other big transition), it's likely you are in
Winter. As you wrestle with your options you may feel
confused, lost, and tired. You may feel awkward and
uncomfortable in highly social events. When you don't know
who you are or where you are going, socializing questions
like "What do you do?" "What kind of job are you looking
for?" set you on edge. If given the option, you'd much
rather take time for yourself right now.

As we officially enter winter this week, use these
strategies from nature to ease your own journey toward
spring and your new beginnings.

Hibernating -

One of the ways animals weather the storms of winter is to
burrow in. They slow their bodily functions and their
activity to conserve energy and wait out the cold, wintery
months.

If you are feeling buffeted from the storms of change
around you, take some time for yourself. Set aside some
quiet time during this holiday season to take care of
yourself. Although those around you may be encouraging you
to participate in holiday festivities, you may not be in a
particularly festive mood. Honor where you are in your
journey. Respect your personal desire to be alone or with
close friends this holiday. This phase won't last forever.
When you are clear about your future, you'll be ready to
rejoin the world.

Camouflaging -

When animals must be out and about during winter, their
coats often change to help them blend into their
surroundings.

If you do need to attend social gatherings, you might feel
safer using some camouflage techniques. Rather than drawing
attention to yourself and the fact that you aren't sure
where you are headed with your career, find ways to
participate in the gathering that shield you from questions
and attention. Offer to help out in the kitchen or to take
care of the fire. Associate with the people you feel
comfortable with, those who understand where you are right
now. Do your best to avoid people who make you feel
vulnerable or uneasy.

Staying Safe -

Animals that have migrated during the Fall months are now
safe in a milder environment, which allows them to avoid
the deepest, darkest storms of winter.

If you can, you may want to consider "migrating" for the
holidays! Plan a getaway so that you are far away from the
situations that feel unsafe at the moment. Even a day
outing can do the trick. Although people may react to a
change in tradition, you can choose to explain why you are
going away or just let people know your plans. In either
case, plan to go somewhere that feels safe and comfortable
to you.

Indigenous people around the world, who are in touch with
the natural cycle of the seasons, take time to pause,
reflect, and celebrate during the darkest time of the year.
The focus of their ceremonies is often the return of the
light as the Solstice passes.

As you take time for yourself during the next few weeks,
consider reflecting on what's absolutely true for you.

-- What are you passionate about?

-- How do you want to spend your time?

-- What impact would you like to have on those around you
and on the planet?

-- What work environment is best for you?

Don't worry about HOW you are going to achieve these goals.
Instead focus on thinking expansively about you, your
passions, and your impact. When you know where you are
going, doors and paths have a way of opening up in ways you
can't anticipate at this moment.

Resist the urge to leap into action right away. Allow your
ideas and visions to incubate, grow and evolve. It's likely
you'll notice that your list of ideas weaves together to
create an even larger vision.

A brief description of fibromyalgia is widespread pain
throughout the body lasting for several months or years. The
pain due to fibromyalgia is due to stiffness of muscles and
bones. Fibromyalgia causes a non-bearable pain in the body. The
cause of is still unknown. Its can be due to physical or
emotional fact which develops a syndrome. A research suggests
that frequent sleep disturbance causes fibromyalgia in most of
the patients and it can be classified as a major cause. Women
are more likely to suffer from fibromyalgia at a ratio of 4 to
1. The reason is still a mystery. But that does indicate that
men are safe from the deadly pain of fibromyalgia. There was a
belief that children cannot be a prey to it, but a research
reported that 6.2 percent of children suffer from fibromyalgia
in Israel. The age of these children is between 9 and 15.

If you are affected from fibromyalgia and you want get rid of
than you treatments which are natural, medical but most
significant and effective treatment is of hypnosis when
fibromyalgia is the problem. A study by Office of Alternative
Medicine, NIH of US, stated that fibromyalgia treatment by
hypnosis is more effective and has 80 percent of good result as
outcome. The figure itself must have given you some relief from
fibromyalgia pain. Hypnosis is more efficient in throwing out
the fibromyalgia pain from your body and comforts you. The
simple reason for it being the best is that it does not use any
medical procedure or there is any requirement of drugs to be
injected in your body. With hypnosis you can overcome the pain
as it empowers your subconscious mind to overcome from
fibromyalgia. Your body is already suffering from a bundle of
painful bones, muscles, ligaments and a number of nights without
sleep.

Fibromyalgia treatment is possible with a little help from your
own side. You can have the power to cure yourself from
fibromyalgia and relax yourself with no pain. You can learn the
techniques of hypnosis and control your subconscious mind and
have a powerful tool for fibromyalgia treatment. Hypnosis will
surely help you in giving independence from the pain, but it
will also help you to overcome depression caused due to the
pain.

You must be praying everyday to God while going to bed that the
next day when you wake up you want to be free of fibromyalgia
pain. Well God has just listened to your prayers and sent a tool
of hypnosis for you. By hypnosis you can direct your brain that
you would not feel the pain. You will be normal, working, happy
and relieved from fibromyalgia pain. For the best fibromyalgia
treatment you need not visit any doctor or pay heavy medical
bills. Treatment for fibromyalgia is available on the internet
in the form of mp3 or video, maybe a book. Going through
hypnosis for fibromyalgia treatment you will be bringing
yourself back to a life which you always dream of. Go ahead if
hypnosis help 80 percent of pain than its worth going for it.
Live life as you plan not as the pain.

With the pressures of climbing the corporate ladder and just
keeping up with the Jones's, there are many things that are
pushing us in life to succeed and achieve greater goals year on
year. While really wanting to succeed and attain our goals we
can stumble on some obstacles that may be barriers that keep up
from making a success in life and reaching our goals. One
example of this is a fear of public speaking; also known as
public speaking anxiety. In a recent survey this phobia was put
at number one as being the most severe fear that you could
suffer from. Just to show you how bad it can be, the fear of
death on the same survey came it at number seven!

As a `recovered' sufferer of public speaking anxiety myself, I
can empathize with people that are sufferers at the moment. The
phobia itself is `all in the mind' however it really does have a
physical part to play too, allowing us to sweat, shake and get
palpitations – sometimes even just thinking about it! I even
remember reading a case history once of a young man in his
twenties suffering a heart attack due to the stress and pressure
that he was under with his public speaking anxiety. It really
can cause a massive effect on the person that it is hounding.

Most sufferers will unfortunately just come to terms with it
and allow it to limit them in future life choices such as
getting a promotion at work or just giving an after dinner or
best mans speech. If you do suffer from this condition you can
think back now on just how many opportunities that you have
missed out on due to this irrational fear. Some of you may have
just tried facing it, only to make the phobia stronger after a
failed attempt! Wherever you are at the moment – with the
correct approach you can get the success that you both desire
and deserve.

I help all of my clients that come to me for help with public
speaking anxiety with hypnosis and self hypnosis. In fact in my
clinic and with my downloads and my book I have helped thousands
to overcome this fear with great success. Simply put – hypnosis
reprograms the part of the brain that houses all of the
behaviours and beliefs that make this phobia. This part of the
brain is called the sub-conscious mind. Hypnosis works on every
aspect of the phobia giving the client the results that they
want and need.

Dogs like to play. Giving them their own things to play with is
a great way to let them use some of their energy, and also keep
away from your things that they should not be chewing on. But
there is a bit of an art to selecting the right dog toys.

Just like kids, all dogs don't like the same dog toys. Some
dogs like to play a little rough others have a softer side.

The first thing to consider, when choosing dog toys, is to make
sure the toys are the right size. The toys you give your dog
should always be large enough they could not get stuck in your
dog's throat. Dogs will chew on toys. That's how they play. You
just need to make sure what they will chew on will be safe. One
mistake many dog owners make is to give their dogs golf balls to
play with. While this may seem fun at first, once the dog is
able to break through the outer skin of the golf ball, they may
well start to swallow the insides, and that could soon mean a
trip to the vet's office.

Next you need to decide what style of toys will best suit your
dog. This could take a little bit of trial and error when you
first get your pet.

You may have to buy a few different styles of toys and then
watch to see which kind he seems to be the most interested in.
All dogs develop their own playing style and by watching what
they like to play with, and what they don't, you will be able to
more easily select toys they will like in the future.

For a rough and tumble dog, you want to get pull dog toys, and
things that are a little hardier and created for a rip-roaring
playtime. If tug of war is a game you like to play with your
dog, you need to make sure you get tugging toys that are fun,
but also safe. While you will be pulling with your hands, your
dog will be pulling with his teeth. That means there could be
damage done of the toy he is pulling on is too hard. You should
look for rubber or rope pull items so they will be a little
softer on the inside of his mouth.

If you have a dog that likes to shred things it may be best to
choose tug of war toys that are not made of rope, as this rope
could well be the next thing that is shredded in your home.

Some dogs like softer toys, and things that are not as rough on
their teeth. For these pets there are plenty of stuffed dog toys
to choose from. Many of them are stuffed animals that have
rattles or squeakers inside, so as your dog plays with them,
they will make noise and encourage him to play even more.

One important note on giving your dog stuffed animals. If you
have children, teach your dog which toys are his and which are
your child's. You may have to monitor this for a while to make
sure your pet doesn't attack the kid's toys.

An ingrown toenail is a condition that if you have ever had
one, you will never forget it!

An ingrown toenail is a very painful condition of the toe and
affects men, women, boys and girls.

The agony of an ingrown toenail is something that can wake you
during the night, disrupt you during an important business
meeting, and seemingly drive you out of your mind.

An ingrown toenail is a rather common condition suffered by
many.

An ingrown toenail occurs when the side or corner of one of
your toenails grows in to the soft and delicate flesh of that
toe.

It happens because as the sharp corner of the toenail begins to
grow it begins to dig into the skin at the corner of or at the
side off the toe.

Redness, pain, and inflammation at the very spot where the nail
curls into the skin, is the very first symptom of an ingrown
toenail that you will see.

If the ingrown toenail is bad enough you may also have an
infection in the area. An ingrown toenail typically affects the
great toe, also known as the big toe, most often.

If you leave an ingrown toenail untreated, it can progress to a
horrific infection or even an abscess that requires surgical
intervention.

Quite often you can take care of your ingrown toenails all by
yourself. However, if the pain from the toenail is severe or
spreading, then you should see your physician for her help to
relieve the pain of the ingrown toenail.

It is important to remember that if you have diabetes or any
other health condition that causes poor circulation to your feet
or one that puts you at a higher risk for any type of infection,
then you should not try to treat an ingrown toenail on your own.
You must see your health care provider for assistance.

An ingrown toenail is an inconvenience and irritation that must
be dealt with.

Whether you address the issue on your own or you get the
assistance of your health care provider, it really doesn't
matter. The bottom line is, you should not allow an ingrown
toenail to simply persist.

Get the treatment that you need.

We all know the importance of first impressions. In social
settings, we often establish our opinions about people before
we've even said hello. Between the way they walk, the clothes
they wear and the look on their face, we form an opinion of
their entire personality without them even having a chance to
influence our judgment. And as horrible as it sounds when
described in such detail, the importance of your first
impression is intuitively logical.

The vast majority of human communication is carried over
non-verbal channels. Picture a scene where two identical people
walk into a room. One practically glows in the dark while the
other goes unnoticed. Why? Well, it all comes down to the
spring in your step, the smile on your face and the confidence
you project in social settings. So, why can't we use that same
logic on the internet?

As it turns out, the exact same principles apply online. There
are millions of websites out there and they all project
themselves differently. Fact is; when someone new visits your
website, you have an opportunity to present whatever reality you
wish. You can present them with a small reality or a huge
reality. The visitor has no bias either way. In other words,
neither would be more believable from their perspective. After
all, they've never been to your website before. So take
advantage of that opportunity and greet them with an
overwhelming presence.

In social dynamics, we would describe this as owning the frame.
When someone visits your website, you own the frame. You can
present that frame any way you wish. And the person visiting
will make their opinions based on the information they're given.
You control the information they receive so it behooves us to
present only that information which contributes to the identity
we're striving for.

The perfect manifestation of this is the product selection you
offer on your website. There are basically three categories.
First, you can offer no products at all. Second, you can offer
products with a fairly narrow price range between them. And
third, you can offer products with a wide price range between
them. I would argue the last option presents the most
impressive frame.

The website offering products ranging from $2 to $35 is
essentially a retail shelf vendor. They're a small time niche
player. On the other hand, a website offering products ranging
from $2 to $3500 is a parallel world. It is an entirely
different universe the visitor was completely unaware of. And
when they see the breadth of your product menu, they will
quickly realize that your site is the go-to place for your
product category.

I'm not suggesting you necessarily widen your actual product
selection, only the packages you offer. We all know the
advantages of marketing a narrow niche on the internet but even
within a narrow niche, you can offer a wide variety of packages.
Even for something as simple as gourmet jellies, you could
offer a 3-day weekend retreat complete with special meals that
feature the jelly, a tour of a production facility and workshops
for how to make similar jellies in your own home. The package
could cost $3500.

Widen your thinking so you can see what premium options to
include. And don't hesitate to add these high price point
packages. Even if nobody ever buys them, their very presence
will change the frame new visitors experience when they discover
your website. The objective is to impress them with a far
bigger resource then they were expecting. Own the frame,
project confidence and position your site for greatness.

Connect with the Essence of Your Green Career
As you search for your next career, it's tempting to try to
"figure out" your next move using logic to make sense of
your most obvious options. There's a certain comfort in
knowing your next step makes good sense.

That's the up side.

On the flip side, your efforts to find a logical solution
may actually limit your options. In your search for a
feasible solution, you turn away from possibilities because
your mind doesn't believe it's possible.

The activity I describe below allows you to bypass your
logical mind to discover the essence of your ideal green
career. Although you won't be able to wrap your mind
around how it works, I encourage you to give it a chance.

When I've invited clients to use this activity they've
always gained new insights, clarity, and perspective about
their future direction. From there they begin to see
opportunities they couldn't have seen before. It's always
fascinating to see how doors begin to open when people tap
into the essence of what they want.

I always enjoy doing this activity around the New Year.
It's fun, inspiring, and sets the stage for the year.

Activity - Discover the Essence of Your Ideal Green Career

Your Goal: Create a beautiful collage to represent the
essence of your ideal green career.

Step 1: Gather a variety of magazines, catalogs, and other
printed material.

Step 2: Flip through the magazines and pull out words and
images that illustrate the qualities you want in your ideal
green career. Don't hold back. Be idealistic, expansive,
and out of the box. Don't worry about whether something is
possible or not. Focus instead on what draws you in and
attracts you. You might think of the tasks you want to do,
the environment you want to work in, and the way you want
to feel in your work. Be inclusive in this stage of the
process.

Step 3: Place the images and words you've collected in a
file folder. You can add to the folder for a couple of
sessions if you'd like. When you don't seem to be finding
any new material, you can move onto Step 4.

Step 4: Find a large poster board or piece of cardboard.
Or, alternatively, a series of smaller pieces of
cardboard/paper that you might place in a binder or folder.

Step 5: Begin to place your words and images in a way that
appeals to you. Let your creativity guide you. Let the form
evolve as you place more and more of your favorite words
and images. Keep a couple of things in mind:

You are now the editor. You decide what to cut and what to
include. It is in this process that you begin to understand
and refine your vision for your future.

Pay attention to the insights you gain during this process.
You might want to jot down your conclusions so that you can
review them later.

If you notice a gap in your words or images, mount a search
to find what you want. If you can't find the piece of the
puzzle you are searching for, create the word by combining
letters from various places.

Step 6: If you can, walk away from your collage for a day
or two. When you return take another look at what you've
created. What do you want to change? Anything you want to
improve?

As you do your final review, make sure that everything on
your collage is stated in present tense. It is happening
now! Not in the past...not in the future. By being in the
present, your subconscious is triggered in a very specific
way, which gives you the sense you already have what you've
envisioned. This is a critical piece to this process.

Step 7: Use a glue stick to attach all of the pieces to
your board. Make any changes that evolve as you work with
your collage.

Step 8: Place your collage in a place where you will be
able to see it on a frequent basis. You might place it near
your computer, in your bedroom, where you exercise, where
you talk on the phone. When you look at it you don't need
to do so consciously. At one point I had my collage near
where I'd brush my teeth each day. As I brushed I'd gaze at
my collage, noticing new details or new connections
throughout the year.

Step 9: Allow your life and career to unfold. Every now and
then take a look at your collage. Has anything happened
that relates to your collage? Do the images in your collage
take on new meaning as you make new discoveries?

Enjoy your journey of discovery with this activity. Invite
your friends and family members to join you if you'd like
or make it a retreat activity just for yourself. Either
way, I'm sure you'll enjoy the process and the results!

Five Strategies to Launch Your Green Career
It's your intention to land a green career in 2008, but do
you know how to make that happen?

Use the five strategies in this tip to focus and guide your
actions. Don't attempt to do all of these strategies as
once. The key is to get a good foundation in one strategy
before moving to the next. As you move through each
strategy, your knowledge and clarity will build.

1) Identify Your Green Niche

The green economy offers tremendous possibilities. Some are
available today while others will unfold over the next
months and years.

To find your place in this new universe, your first and
most important task is to discover the career that is the
best match for your passions, talents, interests, and
experiences.

The answer that is right for you is a combination of your
interests. Don't limit yourself by latching onto your first
idea or the idea you've had for some time. Instead open
your mind to all possibilities.

Begin your search for your green niche or refine your
understanding of your green niche by creating a list of
your favorite skills and interests. Don't worry at first
about how they will all fit together, just keep making your
list. Think of each entry as a clue to your green niche.

When you have a list of forty entries, then explore themes
and trends to see how your clues fit together. Sometimes
your green niche will jump out at you. In other cases
you'll need to play with various combinations to find the
one that works best for you.

If you'd like help with this process, we have several
resources to help you.

2) Track the Current Events in Your Field/Industry

When you've narrowed your focus to your green niche, your
next task is to immerse yourself in the field/industry that
interests you most. If you are drawn to two industries,
track advances in both of them.

Although you'll want to track changes in the green movement
in general, find blogs, news sources, and experts that can
give you the full picture of your industry of choice.

If you haven't defined your niche yet, you can use current
events to help you discover the clues to your passions.
What industries do you feel drawn to read about? What
topics catch your attention? What do you talk about with
others?

3) Talk to People in Your Target Field/Industry

Although you can understand a lot about an industry by
reading, you'll gain an even richer sense of what's
happening by talking with people who work in the field.

If you are struggling a bit to figure out whom to talk to,
use these ideas to jump start your networking process.

-- Attend a green networking event.

-- Become active in the green movement in your local area.

-- Attend professional meetings.

-- Attend a relevant green conference.

-- Talk with individuals over coffee, lunch, or a hike.

4) Watch for Opportunities

As you immerse yourself in your target field/industry, you
have several goals.

-- First, you want to learn enough to understand the
various facets of the field/industry.

-- Second, you want to identify where your skills, talents,
and experience may be an asset.

-- Third, you want to find organizations that hire people
in your field.

-- Fourth, you want to discover problems those
organizations are facing. As you identify these problems,
assess where you can use your skills to help them turn
these situations around. When you can articulate your
ability to help the organization meet their goals and reach
for their vision, you are on the right track.

5) Be Ready

As you become more familiar with how and where you'll fit
into your target industry, begin putting the pieces
together for your job search or your new business. When a
live opportunity presents itself, you want to be ready to
jump into action.

-- If you are planning to launch a job search, you want to
work on the best way to articulate the kind of job you are
searching for, you want to update your resume, and you want
to prepare yourself for future interviews.

-- If you are planning to launch your own business, you
want to focus on a clear description of your business idea,
you want to create a solid business plan, and you want to
create a way to market test your idea.

Figure out where you are in this list of strategies and
start there. As you get a handle on one strategy, begin
making progress on the next strategy. As you gain momentum,
you'll see clarity increase and your foundation strengthen.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
When you decided that you wanted to run your own website, you
were faced with many options. Most likely you were offered many
design choices, email addresses, blogging interfaces, and
e-commerce choices.

Quite naturally, once you decided on all of the above, you had
to make the decision about hosting and what types of hosting you
wanted to have for your website. Most people start out small so
they wouldn't need too much in regards to a hosting server, so
many choose basic or deluxe shared hosting.

Shared hosting is when there are several, sometimes hundreds of
other websites being hosted on that one server. Usually this is
okay for any simple and small business owner.

But what if your business is picking up, or if you have
confidential clientèle matters handled through your website? Or
what if you are worried about someone hacking into your server
and causing havoc on your website?

Is there a way to guarantee that no one else has access to your
server and/or can view any files or databases? There certainly
is. That guarantee comes in the form of a dedicated server.

Unlike an unsecured shared server, a dedicated server is
different.

Shared servers are a popular choice when web hosting companies
set customers up for hosting. Each customer on the server
"shares" hard drive space and monthly bandwidth.

This method causes many security problems with people on that
particular server. A dedicated server is the exact opposite.

There isn't anyone or anything on that server except you and
your website(s). Your server is "dedicated" set apart solely for
you and your usage. A dedicated server would be a good idea if
you are running a highly confidential website such as a banking
institution, doctor's website, high traffic ecommerce site, and
anything with content-sensitive material.

Many financial institutions and medical institutions use
dedicated servers to host their websites.

You can acquire a dedicated server simply by requesting one
from your hosting company. But beware, unlike shared hosting,
dedicated server hosting can be quite costly per month, because
you have a complete server for yourself.

There isn't anyone or any other entity to split or share the
cost with you. Check with your current hosting company to see
what dedicated server plans they have to suit your website
hosting needs.

Using dedicated servers have many advantages. One advantage
that takes to the for is the issue of security. No longer do you
need to worry about people hacking into your website.

The whole server and everything therein is yours. You have
maximum storage space, more bandwidth, data transfer, and above
all you have your own control panel.

Most control panels use Plesk Cpanel. And with the Cpanel come
the many choices in software, for instance: Wordpress, PHPBB,
Joomla (CMS), Drupal, Siteframe, phplinks, MySQL databases,
phpAdmin, apache, and the list goes on!

However, as mention before dedicated servers can get very
expensive. Sometimes it's cheaper to get a dedicated server as
opposed to renting shared space per month and per year.

Take all these things into consideration and then ponder over
them for a while. Before making your choice to switch to a
dedicated server or to stay with a shared server, decide whether
or not you can risk any compromises in your website's security.

If security is not an issue as much as lots of bandwidth, then
maybe you could upgrade your shared server.

But if you deal with credit cards and other personal
information on your site, you should really consider switching
to a dedicated server hosting plan. It's better to be safe than
sorry.

Article Title: Trend Or Fad? What To Ask Before Choosing Your
Product Line

================== ARTICLE START ==================
While it's important for every online seller to keep their eyes
on consumer buying developments in their product market, it's
equally important for them to understand whether those
development are trends, or merely fads. It's easy to confuse the
two; but to source the right products for your E-Biz customers,
you need to be able distinguish between them.

Short-term Thinking

"Fads are random sparks that catch on with a group of people,"
explains Lisa Suttora, founder of trending site
http://WhatDoISell.com. "They come out of nowhere, burst into a
full-blown buying frenzy, and then quickly fizzle out." The
problem occurs when you mistake a fad for a trend. By the time
you recognize a fad product's popularity and begin sourcing and
selling it, that product is already on its way out. Prices
spiral downward, and you end up holding a lot of inventory no
one wants.

Selling fads is a matter of being in the right place at the
right time. Because fads aren't fueled by consumer wants or
needs, there's no repeat group of customers to whom you can
continually market. You may successfully supplement your regular
sales with fad merchandise on occasion, but jumping from fad to
fad is not a good long-term business strategy.

A Stable Approach

Trends, on the other hand, are usually the result of other past
trends that have merged and developed. Based on buyer
lifestyles, trends move with rhyme and reason, and tend to
progress and morph over time, rather than abruptly disappear.

Upcoming trends are shaped primarily by consumer values. If you
monitor the things that matter to your target market – the
issues they're talking about, and the things on their minds –
you'll see those ideals reflected in current trends. Following
are just a few examples:

• Recent concern for the environment has resulted in a surge of
"green" products in nearly every product category.

• An enduring demand for the best of everything has given rise
to luxury or "premium" offerings in markets from food and
beverages to baby strollers to laundry detergents to RV
accessories.

The advantage of working with trends is that they can be
tracked and predicted. If you're carefully following the trends
in your market, you're going to have a good idea of where
they're going next and what products you should begin sourcing
now. Because you're dealing with a target group of consumers to
whom you can repeatedly sell a diverse array of products that
relate to a common need or interest, you can achieve sustainable
selling success.

Which is Which?

To determine whether you're looking at a trend or a fad, simply
ask yourself what the reason is behind this buying development:
Is there a consumer desire or need? A lifestyle change? Can you
identify a trend or multiple trends out of which it has grown?
If so, you're dealing with a trend. If there's no rhyme or
reason (think of the pet rock), then you've pinpointed a fad and
should think very carefully before investing your inventory
dollars.

Understanding the difference between fads and trends is
critical to your product sourcing. Following fads won't get you
to your long-term goals, but you can and should build a
successful e-tail business around market trends. Advises
Suttora, "Study the trends in your product niche. That's how
you're going to continually bring your buyers the products that
resonate with their current concerns and priorities, and stay
relevant to your customer base."

================== ARTICLE START ==================
When you start to think about school, you start to think about
all the stress that's involved when it comes to classes, making
friends, getting homework on time, finances, and list can go on.
When it comes to reducing stress, most students will do just
about anything to do this. What a lot of college students don't
realize is that you're able to make your finances a lot more
manageable with credit cards.

I'm sure by now you've heard a million bad things about credit
cards. It's like the old saying "There's always one bad apple in
the batch." The same goes with society. There's always people
out there ruining the image for the rest of us. What students
don't realize is that there are a lot of people out there that
don't know how to manage their credit cards and finances
therefore putting them in that awful debt black hole.

Credit cards are a great way to keep track of your finances and
benefit off perks at the same time. If you're currently using
cash, you're not getting anything for that money. If you set
that cash aside and use a credit card, you're now going to get
some sort of a reward. When your bill comes in the mail, you can
simply send the cash/check off to the credit card companies.

When it comes to college finances, you may find that it's hard
to earn cash and I understand that. What you need to realize is
that when you don't have cash, you shouldn't be using your
credit cards. If you do have the cash, it's important that you
start a budget. With a budget you're able to benefit with the
maximum perks of a credit card. Let's show how they can benefit
you below.

- Get rewards for every dollar you spend.
- Know exactly what you're spending each month.
- Track your spending month to month all on one bill.
- Build your credit history.
- Great to have for emergencies.

These are some great focal points that you should look into
when you start to apply or currently have a credit card. So many
people want to knock down the credit card market but they don't
want to point out the positive effects of a credit card. I'll
not this again, a credit card can be deadly, it all depends on
the user. What you need to remember is that a credit card can't
be treated like play cash. You need to be able to pay off your
bill every month, no exceptions.

If you think you're a responsible college student and you want
to keep track of your expenses easier, it's probably the best
thing that you look into a credit card. Even though you hear a
lot of negative side effects, like anything, you should look
into the positive effects as well. If you think the positive
will help you out in college, then you have nothing to lose. If
you think once you get it, you'll abuse it, then you can simply
cancel it and go back to your financial ways you used before.

Act"

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Raleigh Schools leaders and teachers may be divided on the
effectiveness of nationally mandated requirements. But they're
obligated to adhere to them. On January 8, 2002, the No Child
Left Behind Act was signed into law. Built on four principles,

1.accountability for results,
2.more choices for parents,
3.greater local control and flexibility,
4.and using teaching methods based on scientific research,

the act was intended to unite schools and school systems across
the nation with one common goal; educate our children to the
best of our ability.

In 2007, a new NCLB Act was set before the legislature,
intending to reauthorize the guidelines set forth in the
original law. Adhering to this "new" law, Raleigh Schools are
doing all they can to ensure that no child gets left behind. In
a statement made in July of 2006, Education Secretary Margaret
Spellings had this to say:

"The NCLB Act of 2007 strikes a strong balance between
preserving the fundamental accountability that is helping
students improve, and responding to legitimate concerns raised
by parents and educators."

Able to see that even laws must at least be flexible to our
changing world, the reauthorization affected by the government
attempts to address these concerns.

Since the beginning the NCLB Act has shown sweeping effects on
Raleigh Schools students, teachers, parents, and school systems
themselves. The fifty-five counties in West Virginia (of which
Raleigh Schools are apart of) are constantly and consistently
evaluating how they are educating their students. To follow the
law, Raleigh Schools teachers and administrators must look even
more carefully at the types of learners they are working with
and use teaching methods that will reach them all.

Serving 12,000 students, Raleigh Schools are working to create
a unified, standards-based curriculum that serves as a map for
educating these children. Raleigh Schools teachers have been
involved in the organization and prioritization of the
curriculum. This has provided an opportunity for a thorough
examination of the content standards they teach. Knowing what to
teach is a first step. Knowing how to teach the students of
Raleigh Schools effectively is the next and crucial step that
teachers must learn and implement in order to give their
students the best education they possibly can.

To this end, teachers working in Raleigh Schools have received,
and will continue to receive professional development (commonly
known as in-service training) with NCLB funding. Participating
in quality professional development has provided the Raleigh
Schools teachers with the research-based educational practices
necessary to meet the requirements of the No Child Left Behind
legislation. Raleigh Schools teachers, probably the most
enthusiastic of all learners, are constantly on the lookout to
improve their skills and knowledge; the NCLB gives them the
funding needed to continue this vital continuing education.

Currently there are 14 public Raleigh Schools and two private
Raleigh Schools receiving Title I funding. Eligibility for
funding is based the school's free and reduced lunch count as
compared to county's average.

If you are selling your home in San Diego, or looking to buy,
finding the right San Diego real estate agent can make a big
difference in whether or not you get a good deal. But how do
you find the San Diego real estate agent who is right for you?
Here are a few points to consider when choosing a San Diego real
estate agent:

Go for Experience

You may have heard it said that the three most important
aspects of selling your home is location, location, location.
Well, when choosing a San Diego real estate agent, probably the
most important quality to look for is experience, experience,
experience. The real estate profession is one with a high rate
of turnover, and many San Diego real estate agents you come
across will be newcomers. When buying or selling such a large
investment as real estate, it just makes sense to use a real
estate agent with several years of experience. Don't even
consider using a San Diego real estate agent without at least
two years of experience, preferably more. An experienced real
estate agent should have an established track record of buying
and selling homes in the San Diego area. This professional
expertise will definitely benefit you as you buy or sell your
San Diego real estate.

Consider Personality

One thing that many people overlook in choosing a San Diego
real estate agent is personality. Make sure to work with a San
Diego real estate agent who has a compatible personality—meaning
they understand your goals, are willing to be patient, and are
good at maintaining communication with you about your real
estate. If all they seem to care about is selling the first
house they take you to, or tell you that your asking price is
too high just to make a quick sale, then you know that the San
Diego real estate agent you are working with is not really
serving your needs. Look for a San Diego real estate agent who
listens to your wants and responds by showing you houses that
actually fit your criteria. Make sure they are comfortable with
being patient until you find the real estate agent that
satisfies you. Doing so will make the buying or selling of your
real estate a much more successful experience.

Finding the Right Agent

You may be wondering how to find a San Diego real estate agent
who has the characteristics mentioned above. The most effective
way to do this is by word of mouth. Talk to other people you
know in the area who have recently bought or sold real estate
and find out who they would recommend. You can also use online
websites, such as, to find a local realtor with the background
and experience you desire. Once you do come across a San Diego
real estate agent you think you would work well with, make sure
to set up an interview. Try to interview at least three
different realtors before deciding on which one would work best
with you. Following these recommendations should make it much
easier for you to find a San Diego real estate agent who will
work diligently for you, and will help to make the buying or
selling of your home go as smoothly as possible.

Primetime 6 For A Ripped New Body!
The sleek physique we are all after is only obtained with a
certain amount of dedication. I have seen many clients
overcome the couch potato "look" by simply adjusting there
work load and following a good sound nutrition and exercise
programs. Nothing Fancy! The program must take into
account each piece of the puzzle - including smart
nutrition planning, fun stress relief exercises and of
course the ability to remove excess stress. Once you
determine you are ready to begin you are 51% on your way to
success.

First believe it will happen, then ask for it to happen as
you get what you ask for, you always do, whether it is good
or bad. Aladdin always asked the genie for something when
he rubbed it and he always got it. You have to ask also. If
you want change just ask and stick to it.

Getting started is the predominately the most difficult.
Many of you are overwhelmed with information overload and
you get stymied and do nothing. So I'm going to outline a
simple but fun exercise plan that can get you started with
NOW!

It is time!

Just image you having abs of steel, shoulder that look as
good and broad as an Olympic swimmer or piston like thighs
and buttocks of a downhill skier. This routine will do it
for you. Focus on each body area and go for it! You will
look better, feel stronger and improve overall muscle tone
in a few short weeks.

After a good warm up of a bike, elliptical or treadmill for
5-10 minutes move then into a dynamic stretching routine
for about 5 minutes. You can find dynamic stretching
routines simply by searching google.com and type the words.
I have left dynamic stretching out of the article, for the
sake of keeping this article shorter for your reading ease.

Here is the Primetime 6:

~Bent Knee Dead Lifts for a Strong Back

~See Saw Shoulder press for coconut looking shoulder

~Bulgarian Lunge for tight thighs

~Speed Skating Walk (buns of steal)

~Basic Plank for a firm core

~T-Push up to maximize your upper chest development and
balance

This system is performed in a set fashion. You complete the
prescribed repetitions and sets for each exercise before
moving to the next.

Bent Knee Dead Lifts: A strong back that you can count on
staying fit. To perform this exercise you can use a set of
dumbbells or barbell. This exercise should be performed
with strict form. Load the barbell or grab a set of
dumbbells that will allow you to do 12-15 repetitions. This
could take a few tries so stick with it.

Stand with your up straight and grasp the dumbbells or
barbell with an overhand grip a little wider then your
shoulders; just out side your thighs. Inhale a deep breath
to stabilize your core area. Slowly bend with your knees
slightly bent, keeping your chest up and back flat until it
is parallel with the floor. Slowly exhale and stand up
straight. Repeat for the allotted reps and sets.

See Saw Shoulder Press: This exercise will do a great job
at firming up your upper torso, improving your should
girdle and giving you a coconut looking set of shoulders.
This exercise not only aids in a strong set of shoulders
but also helps with entire body stabilization which helps
prevent injuries. Perform this exercise for 12-15 reps to
each side left and right.

To perform the exercise stand with your knees slightly
bent, belly button drawn in a touch, and feet shoulder
width apart. Your palms should be facing each other. Hold
the dumbbells over head for 5-10 seconds, then slowly lower
one side to shoulder level or parallel to the floor. Pause
at the bottom for 2 seconds then slowly push the weight
back up. Repeat this action with the opposite arm.
Alternate this pattern for the reps prescribed.

Bulgarian Lunge: Stand up and place one leg on a low beach
about 2 feet behind you. The top of your foot should be in
contact with the top of the low bench or you can use low
stairs. Please keep your chin up and back straight as you
can. Draw your belly button in slightly to create a good
stable core. Slowly drop you back knee towards the floor.
Keep your then shin bone of your front leg perpendicular to
the floor and do not let it slide forward past your ankle.
Push back up to the starting position and perform 10-12
reps with each leg. Repeat for the other leg and do 2 sets
for each leg.

T-Push Up: Get on the floor face down and support your
weight with your toes and hands. Your feet should be
together and your palms flat on the floor a little wider
then should width. Your body should form a straight line
from your neck to your ankles. Keep your head in neutral
(not facing up) and draw in your belly button slightly to
keep a strong core. Slowly lower your body towards the
floor. Lower your chest to within one inch of the floor
keeping good alignment. Push yourself back up to the
starting position, then twist to your right side, lifting
your right arm so it's perpendicular to the floor and it
forms a straight line with your torso and left arm. Your
head and eyes should follow your hand, so you are looking
at up at the top hand. Slowly lower down and perform
another push up and repeat twisting to the left side.
Perform 8-10 T push ups, four to each side. Do 2 sets of
this exercise.

Speed Skater Walk: Slowly draw your belly button in to
stabilize your core. Then stand with both feet together and
knees bent to 90 degrees if you can. Lean forward at the
waist so your spine is at about 45 degree angle to the
floor. Keep your chin up and hands behind your back or
tightly next to your side. Take a big step forward with
your right leg. Let your left leg extend as much as
possible. Slowly drag the toes of your left foot up until
they are even with your right foot. As soon as this
happens, step forward with the left extending your right
leg. Perform 10 strides with each leg rest a minute and
repeat.

Basic Plank: Lying face down, prop yourself up on your
elbows and toes. Make sure your palms down and facing
forward and your belly button is gently drawn in. Elbows
should be directly under your shoulders and you eyes should
be looking at the floor. Hold this for 30 seconds. Rest 30
seconds and repeat 5-10 times. Try to work up to 1 minute
holds

This simple but effective exercise routine can be done
virtually any where with just a small set of dumbbells. The
key to success in any venture is consistency. Keep plugging
away and your will find your body changing in front of your
eyes. Use this routine along with my ultimate core training
e book "Firm and Flatten Your Abs" and you are well on your
way to a successful accomplishment.

posture and your abs! I have a very swayed back, and that
seems to affect the shape of my abs. My brother is in very
good shape and he has the same problem, though not as
noticeable as me. Do you have any suggestions on how to
correct this, keeping in mind that I play hockey once a
week year-round and work as a heavy truck mechanic? I just
can't seem to focus and start a workout regimen. I eat
fairly healthy and don't drink much alcohol, I'm 41 and
6'1" tall 35" waist, about 235 lbs., 44" chest. My main
problem is the love handles and beer belly. Keep up writing
your articles, they're great!

Regards,

Terry C.

ANSWER:

I'm glad you asked this because posture is a very important
topic for functional movement in everyday activities as
well as in athletic performance, but I don't think it has
been emphasized enough.

Posture is extremely important because posture is the
position from which movement begins and ends. If you do not
express good posture, your body is subjected to undue
stress especially in your joint structures. Having ideal
posture creates a balanced environment for all your
supporting structures and helps avoid helps avoid injury
and "deformation" of the body (such as the way you say your
swayback changes the appearance of your abdominal region).

From reading your question, it's apparent that you have
several issues that need to be addressed, but first and
foremost is your posture situation and what you call a
"swayback." If your brother has the same condition, then
you can probably look at your dad and grandfather and find
the same postural circumstances. Sometimes people get
swayback confused with a flat back. Swayback is a condition
that creates a posteriorly rotated pelvis (pelvis tucked
under tush), rounded shoulders, bent knees and forward head
posture.

Most swaybacked people are on the tall side. They tend to
look down on other people, which contributes to this type
of postural imbalance.

To understand it more, we must look at "upper cross" and
"lower cross" syndromes. Upper cross syndrome is created by
an imbalance between your trunk extensors and your trunk
flexors. The trunk flexors tend to be dominating and
stronger, thus creating a short tight abdominal region,
pulling the rib cage closer to the pelvis.

Characteristics of this condition are forward head posture,
drooping rounded shoulders and a "pigeon chest." The knees
and ankles tend to bend because they have to
counter-balance the hump-backed upper body. In swayback
posture, we could easily have both upper cross and lower
cross syndrome and often do. One leads to the other and
vice versa.

To compensate for the sway and to keep the center of
gravity over your base of support (your feet), your back
and pelvis tend to flatten out and drift forward. Lower
cross syndrome consists of tightening of the hamstrings and
abdominals while lengthening the lumbar erectors, thigh
muscles and hip flexors.

To correct these postural situations we must stretch the
tight muscles and strengthen the long and weak muscles.

For example: To address the rounded shoulders - stretch the
chest muscles, and perform exercises such as the prone
cobra, dumbbell bent over rows and alternating Supermans.

To address the lower cross syndrome, we would we need to
stretch your hamstrings and abdominals and tighten the hip
flexors with such exercises as like the Prone Jackknife.

The second part of your question was related to your
recreational hockey playing. When looking at how to
structure a training program to enhance performance in your
sport, ask yourself, "What position does a hockey assume?"
The answer is, a bent over position (picture the body
positioned for a slap shot movement).

This position and movement is made up of several different
movement patterns. The slap shot is a combination of a side
lunge, and upper body twist and a push. So some exercises
you would want to include would be multi-directional
lunges, woodchoppers and bent over rows.

Hockey is also different from other sports because you get
pounded into the boards. This can result in massive
structural damage to your body. There are some steps you
can take to help prepare and compensate for this type of
collision. First you must have good stability in your neck
and lower back. To obtain this stability, your conditioning
program should include, but not be limited to Swiss ball
neck training, one arm C. R. A. C. dumbbell press, and
supine lateral ball roll. Your program should also include
shoulder shrugs, dead lifts and high pulls. These exercises
strengthen the muscles in your cervical spine area and
develop good core strength.

The final part of your question was, "How do I get rid of
the love handles and beer belly?" First of all, the love
handles and the beer belly come from poor eating habits.
Part of your body's ability to store fat so easily has to
do with your genetic code. We carry fat as a protective
mechanism to guard against starvation.

All body fat will decrease in response to a calorie deficit
created by exercising more and eating a little less.
However, love handles and the beer belly usually come from
your body having stubborn fat deposits. These stubborn fat
deposits are fat cells that will not relinquish their
energy without a fight. I'm sure you've noticed that even
as you lose weight, the abdominal fat is usually the last
place to go.

Stubborn fat cells are estrogen dominant cells and estrogen
is a fat-producing hormone. You mentioned that you don't
drink much alcohol, but take a close look at how much is
not much. Believe it or not, beer contains hops; hops
contain estrogenic compounds which help you develop that
beer belly (so there is some truth to the idea of the "beer
belly" and you should minimize alcohol consumption when fat
loss is your goal)

To rid yourself of body of stubborn fat, you should also
eat more cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli,
cauliflower and cabbage. Avoid drinking anything from a
plastic container, avoid soy proteins, eat organic food as
much as possible, increase omega 3 oils (fish) and decrease
your omega 6 intake.

Great'

================== ARTICLE START ==================
This article revolves around a single yet very powerful
question I have to ask you:

Do you want your life to be `good'…or do you want it to be
`great'?

Simple enough question. And yet, how you answer will dictate
the kind of experiences you have in the very near future.

Let me explain. For the past week, I've been listening to Jim
Collins' book, "Good To Great" on 6 CDs. I've already listened
to the first half of the book twice and I'll probably play it
another 4 times before I'm done with it (when you want to learn
something new, use the power of repetition to saturate your
consciousness with that new information).

There's too much `good' and not enough `great' in our lives
today.

But that's ok, because I'm about to reveal to you one of the
main reasons why many of our lives tend to play out as mediocre
and what you can do to change this fairly quickly.

Now, `Good To Great' focuses on identifying the differences
between good companies and great ones. The question Jim Collins
continuously asked himself was, "How do you take a `good'
company and make it `Great'?"

With all the time you've put into reading personal development
books and listening to CDs, I'm sure you know by now that
success principles recognized in one area of our life (ie,
business development) can be easily applied to another.

I want you to ask yourself right now:

How do I take the `good' or `ok' parts of my life and make them
`Great'?

How can I make my relationships with my wife, husband,
children, family, friends and coworkers stronger….make them
`Great'?

How can I turn my `good' salary and financial situation into
something `Great'?

Asking these questions can set the forces of life into motion
and new circumstances, situations, opportunities will begin to
almost miraculously appear for you.

One of the secrets to turning your life from `ok or good' to
`Great', is through recognizing and demonstrating (living) the
following very important success principle:

"If you see the separateness of life…then life will be
separate.

If you see the interconnectedness of life…then life will be
connected."

How To Quickly and Easily Go From Good To Great

We sometimes get these `aha!' moments where something clicks
inside us and our understanding of life and of ourselves
deepens. I remember one time this happened during a small debate
I was having with several coworkers. I was in the marketing
dept. of a company at the time and these guys were from the
sales dept. The debate was over which was more important:
marketing or sales?

Now, ask someone from marketing and usually they'll say
`marketing.'

Ask someone from the sales dept.? Chances are they'll say
'sales.'

What's more important? Marketing or Sales? How can you tell?

What's the real answer? Marketing SUPPORTS sales!

Just as a husband and wife SUPPORT each other.

And a supervisor and employee SUPPORT each other.

Until you understand this in both your heart and your mind,
you'll continue dividing life into separate parts and that's
just what you'll continue to experience in your life:
separateness from your own greatness.

That's all for now. Practice asking yourself, "how can I go
from "good' to "Great' in ______________. Remember: the key to
rapid success is learning to embrace life. Practicing this can
bring you richer, more powerful, and more fulfilling experiences
in your relationships, in your career, and even in your health!

Have a powerful day. I appreciate you!

Welcome to paradise for that is what the word 'Hawaii' means;
and with a warm, sub-tropical climate, friendly outgoing people,
some of the world's most wondrous scenery and those famous
beautiful beaches, who are we to argue? The islands of Hawaii
each have their own unique characteristics and the four main
islands offer a world of contrasts. There are black lava desert
plains, waterfalls, rainforest, the world's most active volcano,
endless beaches and even snow-capped mountains.

The Hawaiian Islands are known for their breathtaking scenery
and the hospitality of their people, as well their abundant
marine life. Surfing and diving are popular pursuits, but you
can kayak or bicycle tour the islands as well. With most
high-density tourism activity located around Honolulu, on the
island of Oahu (also home to the famed Waikiki beach resort),
visitors looking for a more laid-back holiday usually head for
one of the other islands.

The long awaited Superferry service has now started operation,
so access to the outer islands is better than ever and cheaper.
This high-speed, 866-passenger catamaran carries both people and
vehicles between Oahu and Maui, and should begin services to
Kauai in the near future.

You can drive aboard the Hawaii Superferry in your own car,
relax in the lounges, watch TV and enjoy refreshments during the
three-hour ocean voyage. Adult, advance purchase, midweek fares
start at $44 one way (plus a fuel surcharge), while peak fares
(Friday–Monday) start at $54. You can take your car for an extra
$59.

The introduction of the Superferry has dramatically altered the
fare structures for traveling within the Hawaiian Islands,
forcing airlines, which have long dominated inter-island
transportation, to slash their fares to meet their new
competitors head to head. Of course airfares change regularly,
but in recent months Hawaiian and Aloha airlines have been
offering inter-island sale fares of $19 one way. These airlines
also offer tour packages that allow you to see as many of the
major islands in Hawaii that you have the time and resources to
visit.

Cruise ships also run services to Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii
(often called the big island to avoid confusion with the state
of Hawaii), giving you a taste of the best each island has to
offer.

A trip from Honolulu to Maui by Superferry takes about three
hours, compared to about 40 minutes by plane. To secure cheap
air and ferry fares, be sure to make your reservation early – at
least two to three weeks in advance, or at least as soon as you
know your travel dates. Also, flying on a weekday usually costs
less than flying on Saturday or Sunday, and flights departing on
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday generally offer the lowest
fares.

If you visit during the low season (January–May,
September–November) you can save up to 20 per cent on fares. So
whenever you travel to Hawaii, keep in mind the different
options for inter-island travel and check the transportation
companies well in advance for new services and special rates.
Welcome to paradise!

Who uses a Real Simple Syndication (RSS) feed? Maybe the better
question is how many are not using RSS feeds?

Before we go any further let's talk just briefly about what RSS
is and why it's important. Real Simple Syndication is a process
that allows individuals to subscribe to content distribution.
This is not like subscribing to email marketing or an ezine.
This content is custom fed to your reader and viewable when you
choose to listen, watch or read the content. That's right, the
content captured by a RSS reader is not confined to text
information.

Say for instance you have a podcast you like to listen to; an
RSS reader can capture the podcast and download it for quick
listening when you're ready.

OK, now that we're past the primer, let's get back to the
subject at hand.

Who uses an RSS feed?

Your average information consumer thrives on RSS information,
but there may be an even more interested group of users.

Many business bloggers have very specific RSS subscriptions. If
a business blog is dependent on information about a very
specific trade or business discipline they can, in turn, provide
their readers with some of the most up to date information
available.

Their RSS reader scours the Internet looking for the specific
information the business owner requests. The information
received through an RSS feeder can help the business bloggers
establish themselves as trusted resources for quality
information.

The truth is there is a two-step marketing plan that is
happening when a business blogger uses an RSS feed to find
information they can use. The first step is for the original
writer of the article or the producer of the audio or visual
content. The RSS feed is helping them reach a very specific
segment of the online population that is motivated by the
material they present. The second form of marketing is when the
business blogger redistributes the information. It is marketing
for both the business blogger as well as the individual or
organization that supplied the original story.

If you are looking for fresh content for your blog or even your
website you can utilize RSS through a free article directory
that can allow you quick access to the latest content from a
specific writer or on a specific topic.

The growth of RSS is incredible. You might even liken the
service to something like a newspaper being delivered to your
reader that only feature topics you're interested in.

This can be a great resource for business as well as an
incredible time saver as you can bypass multiple online searches
for the same information that can be direct delivered to your
RSS reader.

The work of online business is already hard enough. That's why
using an RSS reader is a component that can enable you to have
more available time to work on other marketing chores and
business development.

In an online world that recognizes the power in knowledge-based
content RSS has become a goldmine for those interested in
passing the wealth along to their customers.

Using a blog to promote your wellness business is a very
effective marketing tool. What is great about using blogs is
that you can promote your wellness business absolutely free.
There are many places on the Internet that you can set up a blog
without it costing you a single penny. With a new home business
it is important to maximize promotion without spending all your
profits on advertising and marketing. Using a blog is one of the
methods that you can use to promote your wellness business
without it emptying your business budget.

You do not have to be a computer wiz, internet wiz or
programmer to set up an attractive blog. There are many places
on the Internet that have blogs already set up for you. All that
you have to do is create a free account, select the name for you
blog and start making blog posts. It's literally that simple
without requiring that you know how to program or pay any type
of membership fees or hosting fees. This is why blogging is
ideal for promotion because it's so simple to do.

Once you have your blog selected and your account created, it
is time to name your blog. When selecting a name choose
something that fits both the wellness industry and compliments
the types of products that you will be promoting for your
wellness business. For example, if you sell weight loss products
you could name your blog something such as Skinny Tips. This
would let others know the general theme of the blog.

The blog setup will ask you to create a description for you
blog. Take the time to write out several descriptions until you
have just the perfect one. The description that you post on the
blog will often be what is used when search engines pick up your
blog and list it in the pages. For the example of the skinny
tips blog you could do a description such as helpful tips and
information for weight loss. The description then further
explains your blog so that more people are likely to read your
posts because they will know what the blog is going to be about
before they start reading.

What should you write about for your blog? One of the top
things to write about is the general topic of the blog. Blogs
with a lot of different topics can get confusing to readers.
They are successful but the purpose of this type of business
blog is to promote your wellness home business. If for example
you had the Skinny Tips blog, you could write short pieces about
losing weight, eating well and exercising. You can even write
reviews for the different products that you are promoting. In
the reviews, you can link directly to the product to encourage
visitors to visit your main wellness small home business
Internet site.

The primary purpose of blogs is to provide information.
Providing a great deal of information is the key to a successful
blog for business. You get people that would not normally visit
a wellness product site to come and read your blog. After
reading your blog on a regular basis, visitors will naturally go
and visit your business site. Use the blog as a portal to get
traffic to your website and not as a big advertisement. People
will stay and read the information if it is informative and
entertaining.
