An Orlando vacation can be a full-on experience with fun during
the day and also at night. Just as Disney World has its Pleasure
Island entertainment complex, Universal Studios features a
CityWalk area that has nightclubs with entertainment in musical
grooves including Jimmy Buffett, Motown, Bob Marley, rock 'n'
roll, dance music, dueling pianos and Latin rhythms. Let's take
a look at what is on offer at Universal's City Walk.
Before we begin it should be noted that City Walk is not just a
tit for tat response to Disney World's Pleasure Island. The City
Walk area in Orlando is modeled after Universal Hollywood which
first introduced the concept of an entertainment/dining complex.
Here are some of the entertainment attractions on City Walk:
The Groove: This is a dance club that is popular with locals
and tourists alike. It looks like a turn-of-the-century theater
that was converted into a nightclub. It features popular dance
music and is especially attractive to the under 30 set.
Bob Marley: A Tribute to Freedom - A recreation of Bob Marley's
Jamaica Home which was turned into a museum after Marley's death
in 1981. This combination night club- museum and restaurant
offers live Reggae music on the patio and has a nice, casual
atmosphere.
Pat O'Brien's: This club is based on the original Pat O'Brien's
in New Orleans. The exterior replicates the original, and on the
patio in the back, you'll find the signature fire and water
fountain. There are two inside bars, including one with dueling
pianos. Be careful when sampling their strong Hurricane drink
which includes four ounces of rum.
CityJazz: During the week this venue is a comedy club and on
Friday and Saturday night it is a jazz club. It sports a montage
of jazz stars filling one wall and has glass cases with jazz
memorabilia.
Latin Quarter: Here is another venue that is popular with both
tourists and locals, especially Orlando's Hispanic community.
During the day it is a restaurant and at night is a chic
nightclub.
Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville - Another fun spot to hang out and
party, Margaritaville offers everything from live bands nightly,
to hula hoop contests. Of course, the drink du jour here is the
Margarita.
Red Coconut Club - Live entertainment and a South Beach vibe
combine to make this one of the liveliest clubs in Orlando. If
you decide to pay the Red Coconut a visit, we suggest you dress
a step or two above standard resort wear because you'll feel a
bit out of place in shorts and sandals.
There is no admission charge for CityWalk, although individual
clubs may have cover charges. Visitors can buy a Key to the
Clubs, providing admission to all venues, for $7.95 plus tax.
The Universal parking garages charge $7 for cars and $8 for RVs
and campers before 6 p.m. Parking is free after 6 p.m.
General operating hours are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., although each
venue has its own hours.
CityWalk can be seen only on foot. Visitors must park in
Universal's garages and walk about five to 10 minutes to get
there. Moving sidewalks are available.
So, put on your dancing shoes and enjoy some nights out at
Universal's CityWalk in Orlando, Florida.

================== ARTICLE START ============ ======
In the near future, the advance of human technology will become
so rapid the unaided human mind will be unable to comprehend its
implications. The point in time at which this occurs is
generally known as "the singularity," and many believe it will
usher in a new and exciting era for the human race. Throughout
the world, many intellectuals and futurists have noted their
belief in the nearness of the singularity, with quite a few
predicting it will occur within our generation.
Some proponents of the singularity have promised immortality
and post-biological bodies for the human race, prompting many
adherents to draw parallels between these events and the
prophesied rapture of the bible. Lacking a clear understanding
of bible prophecy, some of these people have come to believe
that the singularity and the rapture are one and the same.
However, nothing could be further from the truth. So let's
examine the facts about the singularity and the rapture.
What is the Singularity?
As previously stated, the singularity is a future point in time
when societal, economic, and technological change increases at
such a rapid pace that the unaided human mind cannot begin to
comprehend its implications.
The concept of the singularity is built on the premise that
human technological advancement is not linear, but rather
exponential. In other words, conventional wisdom (the linear
view) holds that the next 100 years will bring the same amount
of progress as the previous 100 years. However, those who
predict the singularity (the exponential view) believe the next
100 years might well bring the equivalent of twenty or more 20th
Centuries of progress.
Mere observation tends to support the exponential view. For
instance, the 20th Century brought more technological progress
than the 19th Century. And the 1990's brought more technological
progress than the 1980's. As a result, it's logical to conclude
that the human race is rapidly approaching the singularity.
What is Transhumanism?
In preparation for the singularity, a new worldwide
social/religious movement has emerged: the Transhumanist
Movement. Identifying themselves "singularitarians" and
"transhumanists," these people look forward to the singularity
with a fervor usually reserved for religious zealots. Many
within the movement believe the singularity will lead to the
emergence of "post-biological humans" who are able to shed their
biological bodies and "upgrade their hardware." Many believe
that by downloading themselves into a network, they will
effectively become "immortal." True believers have modified
their diets, exercise routines, and entire lifestyle in an
effort to increase the likelihood of living to witness human
reversal of the aging process and eventual human "immortality."
In light of the emergence of this new movement and its clearly
stated goals, these words of warning from our Lord take on new
meaning:
"In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, the entire
human race will be destroyed. But it will be shortened for the
sake of God's chosen ones." Matthew 24:22 (NLT)
Through the centuries, this verse has been interpreted to mean
that the Glorious Appearing of Christ will arrive just before
the human race managed to destroy itself in war. However, it
could mean that "no flesh will be saved" because the human race
will attempt to transform itself into a race of "post-biological
humans."
Why Do Some People Believe This is the Rapture?
So why are some people arriving at the conclusion that the
singularity and the transhumanist desire for post-biological
bodies portend the rapture? What is the basis for this
reasoning? Believe it or not, the root of this idea comes from
scripture. However, as will soon be illustrated, the scriptures
cited have been taken out of context.
Post-Biological Bodies
Human transcendence of biology is a process which has already
begun. People who have pacemakers or artificial limbs are in a
sense, merging with non-biological human technology. As this
technology advances, the human race will engage in much more
sophisticated enhancement of the human body, including
enhancement of brain power and the connecting of human brains to
local or global networks. In addition, a person's exterior body
could be modified to become stronger than steel, making them
less susceptible to life-threatening trauma.
Some who foresee this future believe it will be a fulfillment
of bible prophecy:
"And then we who are living will be transformed so that we will
never die. For our perishable earthly bodies must be transformed
into heavenly bodies that will never die." 1 Corinthians
15:52-53 (NLT)
In addition, they believe these post-biological bodies will
enable them to inherit the Kingdom of God:
"Every human being has an earthly body just like Adam's, but
our heavenly bodies will be just like Christ's. Just as we are
now like Adam, the man of the earth, so we will someday be like
Christ, the man from heaven. What I am saying, dear brothers and
sisters, is that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of
God. These perishable bodies of ours are not able to live
forever." 1 Corinthians 15:48-50 (NLT)
Proponents of this idea believe that when humans shed their
biological bodies (i.e. flesh and blood), the door will be
opened to a new earthly paradise.
Immortality
In addition, transhumanists believe the information in our
brains (i.e. memories, knowledge, and the varying patterns that
make a person unique) can be translated into code and uploaded
into new hardware. Imagine for a moment that a human body is
like a computer, and the personal information you have on your
computer comprises all the memories and knowledge of a lifetime.
When your old computer becomes broken or obsolete, you simply
get a new one. And when you do, you transfer all the important
files and information from the old one (or a backup) onto the
new one. This is a fairly accurate description of the
transhumanist vision for humans.
Human bodies become obsolete. They decay and eventually stop
functioning, and when they do, a person has no backup. All their
memories and knowledge are lost forever. Transhumanists believe
they can halt this process by uploading a person's unique
thoughts and brain patterns into a "more reliable vessel," one
better equipped for long-term functionality than a mere
biological entity. By creating backups of their brain patterns,
decentralizing themselves over a network such as the Internet,
and continually upgrading their hardware, transhumanists believe
they can effectively live forever.
And some transhumanists believe a scriptural basis exists for
this human immortality:
"When this happens when our perishable earthly bodies have
been transformed into heavenly bodies that will never die then
at last the Scripture will come true: `Death is swallowed up in
victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your
sting?'" 1 Corinthians 15:54-55 (NLT)
Taken out of context, it's not difficult to see how someone
could be deceived into believing the singularity and
transhumanism will help them to cheat death. However, neither
one addresses the root problem of death sin. And the only way
to blot out sin is through the blood of Jesus Christ.
Why the Singularity and Transhumanism Are Not the Rapture
The singularity and transhumanism are not the methods deployed
by God for the rapture. Although some people have made this
connection, bible prophecy must be taken out of context to draw
such a conclusion. Below is a list (perhaps not comprehensive)
of why the singularity and the rapture are not one and the same:
Post-Biological Humans Will Not Appear in the Twinkling of an
Eye
The singularity and human transformation into a post-biological
state will both occur rapidly, but not in a literal instant. In
Chapter Six of "The Singularity Is Near," author Ray Kurzweil
underscores this point:
"But this is not the primary way that I envision the transition
to non-biological experience taking place. It will happen,
rather, in the same way that all other paradigm shifts happen:
gradually (but at an accelerating pace)." (Kurzweil, page 324)
Yet, the bible is clear that the rapture of the church will
take place in "the twinkling of an eye":
"But let me tell you a wonderful secret God has revealed to us.
Not all of us will die, but we will all be transformed. It will
happen in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, when the last
trumpet is blown." 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 (NLT)
The singularity is not the rapture, because the rapture occurs
instantaneously.
The Transformative Power of the Rapture is Everlasting, Not
Temporary
The singularity and human transformation into a post-biological
state will provide the illusion of immortality, but not literal
immortality. In Chapter Six of "The Singularity Is Near," author
Ray Kurzweil underscores this point:
"By the middle of the twenty-first century humans will be able
to expand their thinking without limit. This is a form of
immortality, although it is important to point out that data and
information do not necessarily last forever." (Kurzweil, page
325)
The transhumanist claim of immortality falls short of its
stated goal, unlike the promise of the rapture which will result
in spiritual bodies which will never perish:
"Our earthly bodies, which die and decay, will be different
when they are resurrected, for they will never die. Our bodies
now disappoint us, but when they are raised, they will be full
of glory. They are weak now, but when they are raised, they will
be full of power. They are natural human bodies now, but when
they are raised, they will be spiritual bodies. For just as
there are natural bodies, so also there are spiritual bodies." 1
Corinthians 15:42-44 (NLT)
One day, humanity might well achieve a post-biological state of
being, but it will simply be trading in one fragile vessel for
another. Those who participate in the rapture, however, will
remain with Christ forever:
"Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on
the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in
the air and remain with him forever. So comfort and encourage
each other with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 (NLT)
The singularity will herald a time of unprecedented human
power, but this power will pale in comparison to the awesome
power of God, meaning it cannot be eternal in nature. On the
other hand, the rapture will bring with it the everlasting
authority of Jesus Christ. Therefore, the singularity is not the
rapture.
Conclusion
The bible is clear concerning the characteristics of the
rapture. It is an event that will be precipitated by the
appearance of Jesus Christ in the clouds. It will happen in "the
twinkling of an eye," and it will not be an event in which the
whole world will participate. The rapture will transform human
bodies into spiritual bodies, while even the boldest of
transhumanists claims merely assert that the singularity will
transform fragile human bodies into relatively less fragile
human bodies. The singularity is simply not the rapture. Despite
the claims, which will no doubt increase in number as we
approach the end of this age, no scriptural basis exists for
believing otherwise.
As such, be careful that you aren't deceived by false prophets
and messiahs who claim the singularity and the transhumanist
movement will usher in an earthly paradise. One such person
might be the Antichrist who Paul describes as one who will "use
every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to
destruction" 2 Thessalonians 2:10 (NLT).
Those who place their faith in the singularity and the
transhumanist agenda will be greatly disappointed.
Nevertheless, human beings are still inclined to believe they
can conquer the power of death. The prophet Isaiah foresaw these
days, as well as the futility of those who would place their
faith in that which is merely human:
"Don't put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as
breath. What good are they?" Isaiah 2:22 (NLT)
This is a brilliant observation, instructive to any generation.
Instead of placing faith in fallen mankind and the material
things of this world, people should put their faith in Jesus
Christ. If they do, God promises they will never be
disappointed:
"And anyone who believes in Him will never be disappointed." 1
Peter 2:6 (NLT)

The Moroccan theme is a popular one in home decor and it is all
about warm, earthy tones and textured walls.
The Mediterranean way of designing will be different in each
region and one region that is certainly worth considering is
Spain. In Spain they have a very unique way of creating their
decor and it is something that you could easily recreate within
your own home. The Moroccan theme in particular is very popular
and it is not hard to see why.
Moroccan Style Decorating
The Moroccan style decorating theme can look extremely romantic
and elegant. It adds warmth to the home and it shows off the
coastal Mediterranean style influences that it uses, with
texture and color being particularly important. By using bright
colors alone you could easily recreate a Mediterranean style
home, but if you really want to push it up a notch, then you
should incorporate the style of the Moroccan walls, floors and
ceilings too.
The main thing to remember about Mediterranean style walls,
Moroccan in particular, is that they do tend to be fairly
textured. Whilst it may look complicated to achieve, it actually
isn’t and you can easily use a basic sand paint to get the
look that you require. It acts as a base for any color you want
to put onto the wall and it is a lot easier to use than tinted
sand paper which many people tend to struggle with.
If you want to really make the walls stand out, then the use of
columns and moldings wherever possible is a good idea. When
painted over the textured walls, remember to keep the colors
bright, warm and dreamy. Sea blues are particularly good for
this and even mixing a little yellow in there too can be a great
idea. The Moroccan theme tends to include earthy tones. Think
warm browns and reds as well as olive greens and that is what a
Moroccan theme will basically entail.
It is the boldness of color that you are looking to use with
any style of Mediterranean decorating. That will give you the
best look possible, even without the textured walls. When you
think of the Mediterranean, you instantly think of color and
warmth and that is exactly what you are trying to create in your
Mediterranean style decor.
Overall you do want to make sure that as well as color, you
also take into account every other aspect of Mediterranean style
decorating. Textured walls will really add to the effect of a
Moroccan theme so it is certainly worth considering using a sand
paint to get the look that you require.

If you are looking for a great gift, then you may want to
consider giving tools to use for landscaping a year. At the
first sign of spring, many people start yearning for time spent
outside working on their yard. With excellent landscaping
tools, you can help to make their landscaping more efficient and
less taxing on them physically.
Choosing Shears
Every gardener needs a good pair of hand shears of clippers.
They are a excellent choice for trimming shrubs, bushes, and
even small trees. The great thing is that you can buy
inexpensive shears and still receive the same results.
Spades and Shovels
A spade is used for digging and a flat shovel is used for
creating bigger spaces or removing dirt. There is quite a
variety in the different shovels, including different sizes and
shapes. Handles are different lengths as well. If you are
going to use it for digging in a small area, then you will want
a shorter handle length. If you are using it predominantly for
moving dirt, then you will want a longer handle.
Rake It Up
The best and most useful of the landscaping tools that you can
purchase is a metal rake. Rakes come in all different price
ranges, but a rake with metal teeth will last longer and will be
a lot stronger for those landscaping jobs. Rakes can help you
move dirt and debris from any landscaped area with very little
effort and time.
Wheelbarrows and Garden Hoses
In the landscaping process, you will find that wheelbarrows can
help you quite a bit. They can help you to move dirt, plants,
or debris from one area to the next. Carrying supplies in your
yard is also made easier with the wheelbarrow. If you want to
carry around your garden tools, you may want to consider
purchasing a cart to carry them. Carts cost less money and they
weight quite a bit less, which will make it easier to maneuver
in your yard.
Garden hoses come in different lengths so you need to evaluate
the distance from your water spigot to the areas that you will
need to be watering. You will also want to consider purchasing
a hose rack or wheel to store your hose on and keep it free from
kinks that can keep the water from flowing through your hose
efficiently. Storing your garden hose neatly will help keep
your lawn uncluttered and neat.
Landscaping tools are a great gift for yourself or for someone
else. A few other tools that can be quite helpful in
landscaping include water cans, lawnmowers, gloves, pole
pruners, and trimmers.
You can buy landscaping tools on a budget. Much of the above
listed tools can be bought for very little money, but they can
make a huge impact on how your lawn will look for years to come.

Using the right essential lawn care equipment is the best way
to keep your lawn healthy and looking good.
When it comes to properly caring for your lawn, having the
proper equipment goes a long way to ensuring that the lawn is
looking beautiful and healthy. If you are looking on the market
for new lawn care equipment, you will certainly be spoilt for
choice in terms of the selection that is available. The thing is
however, that with all of the different types out there, there
are actually only a few bits of equipment that are essential for
most lawns.
A Run Down of Essential Lawn Care Equipment
When it comes to caring for your lawn, there is no better start
than to use a good lawnmower to properly cut the grass. There
will be a lawnmower to suit everyone's needs and also everyone's
different types of grass.
If you have a smaller lawn then this will mean that you will be
better off going for a smaller lawnmower and if you have a
larger lawn then obviously you will want a stronger and more
powerful lawnmower, to help you with the task ahead. Without a
lawnmower you will find it extremely difficult to maintain good
lawn care and this is why a lawnmower is an essential piece of
lawn care equipment.
The good news for people searching for a lawnmower is the fact
that there is a massive range available; whether you go into
your local hardware or home improvement store, or whether you
search on the internet for one.
Something else that is considered as an essential piece of lawn
care equipment is an irrigation system. This helps to regularly
distribute water evenly over your lawn. If you have one of these
installed, you will not have to worry all of the time about
watering your lawn as this works by using an automatic timer to
spread the water during certain times of the week. This is
absolutely ideal if you have a larger lawn, but if you have a
smaller lawn then you may just use a hose pipe for this task.
There are some companies out there that will be able to install
an irrigation system for you and the good news is that it can
all be up and running within a day and the results from it are
almost instant.
Getting the essential lawn care equipment helps to make sure
that your lawn looks great and it easily helps to maintain the
look as well. Obviously this is what you want especially if you
have spent a long time growing your lawn from scratch.

Applying for credit cards online can now be done quickly and
easily right on the Internet. The main thing when applying is to
make sure to protect yourself, only disclosing your confidential
information on an appropriate site that hosts the credit card
application.
In a nutshell, here's what you need to know when you go to
apply for a credit card online :
1) Be alert to identity theft and other security issues on the
web today. Many things that you are able to do online today can
leave you vulnerable, exposing your computer and you to possible
dangers, especially when your private, confidential and
financial information is involved. Don't stick your head in the
sand and keep it there with regards to online safety issues.
2) Look into safer interacting online. For example, there are
advances in computers, software and online security making it
much safer to conduct financial transactions from your personal
computer or laptop hooked up to the world wide web today.
3) You will find many credit card offers online so do some
homework before you apply for any. Open up your favorite search
engine and research which credit card applications are online
and what they offer, taking notes and printing out comparisons
before you even start to complete any of the online
applications.
4) Check out the individual credit card rewards and other
programs available, interest rates, minimum payment amounts,
fees and guidelines, payment options (some need bank accounts
connected with them to pay online, so check first), the full
credit agreement including "the fine print" and any extra
charges that could be applied (like late fees, over the credit
line fees, etc.)
5) Also research the financial institutions. Check with the
Better Business Bureau to see if there are large amounts of
complaints filed. Ask friends and family for recommendations.
6) Look for websites that offer secure and encrypted entering
of data for your online application processing. For example, the
site should begin with "https" instead of just "http" in your
browser. Also review the privacy statements of the financial
institutions on their websites to make sure they keep your info
confidential. Make sure that this site is secure before you
trust it with your personal details.
Note that it's your responsibility to look into all the details
surrounding your credit and your credit cards. Even once you
have the credit, you want to make sure to stay within your
credit card limit, make payments on time and pay balances off,
because your credit history is your own permanent record for all
to see who check out your credit bureau.
So keep this checklist handy when you are applying for credit
cards online. Use good judgment when choosing a good credit card
program or programs to join up with and apply to online. And
follow up in a responsible manner to keep your credit in good
standing.

================== ARTICLE START ============ ======
Traditional common law provides a method to claim the title to
a land through use. The law rules for adverse land possession
are codified under various laws. They allow a person to assign a
title to a land from the owner just by using the land, out in
open for all to see.
For example, if someone builds a fence on your land with the
intention of taking the property and even goes as far as to pay
property taxes for a certain period, yet you do nothing about
it, then he or she can claim the title of the land. The theory
behind this is that by not disputing for the use of your land,
you have abandoned your rights to the property.
There are several things that have to be considered elemental,
though, when dealing with matters of adverse land possession.
These include:
1) The definition of `adverse possession' involves many legal
words which have special meanings and differ from their standard
definitions. The elements of `adverse possession' are the real
estate is open, actual, exclusive, notorious, hostile, under
cover of claim or right, and continuous and uninterrupted for
the statutory period.
2) The adverse possessor should have acted in the manner of
owner of the property. The possessor should have engaged in the
act of possession consistent with the property at issue in a
manner which was capable of being seen by all. During the
statutory period the person claiming the title must be the only
person to treat the land in the manner of an owner (it does not
mean that he should be the exclusive user of the property). The
possession should not `hostile' to the title owner's interest in
the property.
3) You can not claim adverse possession if it is a permissive
use of the land. If the possession is not hostile then the land
can be claimed under the theory of acquiescence.
4) All the elements of the adverse possession must be met
throughout the statutory period. Even it is possible to claim
adverse possession if there is a transfer of ownership, the
ownership period is added cumulatively.
5) The length of time required to claim the title of land
according to adverse land possession statute varies. It could be
as short as few years or could be more than 20 years. Some
states have the rule that the adverse possessor should have paid
taxes every year on the land.
6) The defense against the adverse possession may claim the
permissive use. If the claimant has been granted permission to
use this property by the actual owner, then the claim fails.
Government owned lands may be exempt from adverse possession.
7) If the land owner is also engaged in the use of the land in
a manner consistent with that of the landowner, the claim fails.
If the various aspects of the adverse possession is not able to
hold out till the expiry of recommended statutory period or if
the possession was hindered by non-use period of the property
then also the claim is deemed fail.
It is important to note that the real estate laws concerning
the adverse possession vary significantly between jurisdictions.
The law, definition of terms and the applicable statute of
limitations can very considerably between jurisdictions.

================== ARTICLE START ============ ======
Everybody tells you that in order to lose weight you need to
eat less calories. For many people the next logical choice to
lose weight more quickly is to go on a fast. It seems reasonable
that not eating any food will force the body to lose weight, and
this is true.
However, is going on a fast for several days, or even a week or
more, healthy?
When done properly, fasting can be a good thing for your body,
because it not only causes you to lose weight, but helps the
body eliminate toxins as well. When fasting for weigh loss it is
tempting to drink nothing but water, but this can be very
dangerous for the body.
When you go on a water fast for more than a day or two, you can
wreak havoc on your blood sugar levels, causing it to fluctuate
between being too high or too low. You are literally starving
your body of essential nutrients it needs to keep functioning
properly. Maybe you've heard of people who go on a fast to
protest something and then end up in the hospital with a feeding
tube. This could happen to you too, that's why water fasts are
generally discouraged.
However, there is a healthier way for you to fast. It's much
better for you to go on a one day fast, than a longer extended
fast. You see, you want the fast to help you lose weight without
side effects.
This means you need to understand a little about how the body
works. Food is fuel to the body and supplies needed nutrients.
When you are overweight, the body has accumulated too many fat
cells along with unhealthy toxins.
You see, when you starve the body of the nutrients it needs, it
will automatically slow down your metabolism and use what
calories it has in reserve more efficiently. As you know,
slowing down your metabolism makes weight loss a lot harder.
Those going on extreme water fast diets will initially lose a
lot of water weight, but when they resume eating again, they'll
quickly gain back all the weight they lost and more.
The body just doesn't like to be starved and when that happens
it will work even harder to retain every single calorie that you
consume. This is a natural survival mechanism built into our
bodies to help keep us alive. Since you cannot fight nature,
it's best to stay away from any kind of extreme fasting.
On the positive side, a 24-hour fast will give your body a
needed rest and let it do some healing. Toxins will also be

Situated close to Fife on the East coast of Scotland, St
Andrews is famous for being the "home of golf".
The Royal and Ancient Golf club was founded in the town in 1754
and controls the game of golf everywhere except in America and
Mexico.
There's a good chance that your visit to St Andrews will be to
do with the links course, which often holds the annual Golf Open
Championship, the longest established of golf's four major men's
championships. Outside the time of the championship, you should
be able to book a tee time and play the course yourself.
If you can't afford the fees to play on the most popular
courses, don't panic. There are a total of 7 links courses in
the St Andrews area, so you're sure to be able to find one that
has an open slot and an affordable price.
Or you can just practice your shots at the local St Andrews
Links golf driving range.
If you prefer a sport other than golf, St Andrews has plenty to
offer as well:
You can keep fit at the East Sands Leisure Centre or take a
swim in the pool or if you prefer to stay on dry land, they also
have a number of pool tables.
Surfers will want to check out the surf on the nearby East
Sands beach the best surf is to be had in the winter months
when the waves are bigger.
Kite flying is also a popular sport here. Most flyers will head
towards the West Sands beach to indulge their hobby.
History fans can browse around the ruins of St Andrews
cathedral. The cathedral was originally built starting in 1158.
They fell into disuse at the time of the Reformation, during the
mid 1500s but you can still get an idea of the scale of the
building from the remains that are still standing on the
original cathedral site.
These remains include St Rule's tower which is even older than
the cathedral. If you have the energy and the weather is in your
favour, make sure that you climb up the 156 steps of the tower
so that you can admire the views of the town of St Andrews as
well as its harbour, the North Sea and the Scottish countryside.
The other ruins to visit are those of St Andrews castle, which
has been on the same site since the 12th century. There is a
visitor centre to give you a flavour of what the castle used to
be like in its prime.
St Andrews is also the site of Scotland's oldest university.
The student population in the area ensures that there is plenty
of life in the town if you want to venture outside your hotel.
One thing you should remember when you are visiting St Andrews
is that if your visit coincides with a popular golf event, you
will need to book your hotel accommodation in plenty of time to
make sure that there is room for you to stay.

Penzance

Located at the southern tip of Cornwall, Penzance is well worth
exploring and has a wide variety of things to do and explore.
Whether you want town life, to check out rural Cornwall or
experience the coastal waters around Cornwall where years ago
smugglers were rife.
The word Penzance actually means "Holy Headland" in the native
Cornish language and is a reminder that the town stands close to
where the chapel of St Anthony stood over a thousand years ago.
Although people have lived in Penzance since at least the
Bronze Age, its importance was recognized by King Henry IV, who
granted the town the right to hold a Royal Market.
Although it was once a major fishing town with all that
entails, Penzance now caters mainly for the tourist trade. Most
of the town is subject to strict planning rules, so its
character has been preserved without the blight of too many
modern buildings and signage. Although the poet Sir John
Betjeman disagreed with that last statement he thought that
the town's character had been blighted.
As befits the area, there is a midsummer festival in Penzance
called the Golowan Festival. After a lapse at the end of the
1800s, the ancient customs of the golowan Festival have been
revived, including lighting fires and setting off fireworks to
celebrate the midsummer solstice. You can also witness street
artists and see the whole town decked with greenery and other
decorations. The popularity of the festival means that Penzance
now attracts thousands of visitors at that time of year, so be
sure to book your hotel room early if you are planning to visit
Penzance at the time of the festival or you could end up finding
no room at the inn.
Opera fans will want to check out Penzance. As you'd expect
from the title, it was the setting for the Gilbert and Sullivan
opera "The Pirates of Penzance". In modern times, you can watch
plays at the local Acorn Theatre, which also shows films and
hosts dance music and cabaret.
Despite their name, the Penzance Pirates rugby team are now
located in nearby Camborne and have therefore been renamed the
Cornish Pirates.
On a more exotic note, the solo transatlantic yacht race called
the Mini Transat 6.50, so called because the maximum boat length
is 6.5 metres, starts its journey in alternate years from
Penzance harbour.
Whether you choose to stay in Penzance itself or would prefer
to use one of the many Cornish villages nearby, there are plenty
of places that you can stay. These range from small, family run
bed and breakfasts, often located in farms and other rustic
locations, through to the larger guest houses which give you
many of the facilities of a hotel but the warm welcome
associated with Penzance's landladies. Or if you prefer, you can
choose one of Penzance's larger hotels. Whichever of these you
decide on, you can be assured of a warm Cornish welcome and the
hospitality associated with it.

Avoiding Human Sacrifice
Posted by: "Joyce C. Lock" inspirations@insightbb.com ourheartandhis
Sat Feb 2, 2008 4:04 pm (PST)
This article may be published in its entirety, electronically or
in print, free of charge, as long as the bylines are included.
------------------ ARTICLE START ------------ ------
Avoiding Human Sacrifice
Present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service.
Romans 12:1
Many appear to think that life application, of the above verse,
is to sacrifice whomever smokes, drinks, chews, eats, and more;
whomever does whatever is considered to be undesirable that could
affect one's physical body (regardless of their love for God) and
more follow suite; sacrificing to idols. In fact, I do not recall
having ever heard this verse used any other way, even though
studies have proven such families to have inherited lower stress
tolerance for which they self-medicate for survival. And yet,
some get more leniency than others. Humm, I wonder who decides
which to sacrifice and which is worthy of escaping.
We can be sure they did not ask God because He would have
reminded them, it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a
man; but that which comes out of the mouth, Matthew 15:11. And
so, while you were busy worrying about what everyone else was
doing, "What came out of your mouth?"
After all, it is not as if you have never heard it before, "Judge
not according to the appearance," John 7:24. Judge not, and ye
shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned:
forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given
unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and
running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same
measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Luke 6:37-38
So, if you do not want the consequences of judging, it is a
pretty good idea, when you are tempted to judge, to save your
energy for researching scripture; to determine what you are
guilty of. In fact, the very reason you find fault in others may
be so that you can recognize and deal with your own.
A righteous judgment calls for mercy, not sacrifice. Matthew 9:13
Thou shalt not sacrifice unto the Lord thy God any bullock, or
sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evilfavouredness: for that is
an abomination unto the Lord thy God. Deuteronomy 17:1
There's one thing for certain, when we are counted as sheep for
the slaughter, we know Who it is that really loves us; Romans
8:36-37. Jesus said, "The Son of man is come eating and drinking;
and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend
of publicans and sinners!" Luke 7:34 But, Paul said, "Why stand
we in jeopardy every hour? I protest by your rejoicing which I
have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily." 1 Corinthians
15:30-31
Besides, Roman 12:1 calls for a living sacrifice, not one that
has been killed. So, you might want to check and see if you are
serving dead works or a living God (Matthew 23:3). Again, present
YOUR bodies a 'living' sacrifice.
And, since when were we ever commanded to persecute anyone?
Job seems to say it best, "Why do ye persecute me as God, and are
not satisfied with my flesh?" Job 19:22
Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and
not we ourselves. Psalm 100:3a He that despiseth, despiseth not
man, but God. 1 Thessalonians 4:8
In addition, the law is spiritual (Romans 7:14a). Therefore, the
reference is in regard to one's 'spiritual' body; only, not just
'one' body, but bodies. It's a group effort! And no matter what
others are doing, what does it have to do with YOUR reasonable
service?
It has been said that the things we hate are the very things we
dislike about ourselves; for which, in this case, should lead us
to question, "What am I not sacrificing?" Consider the following:
Ye shall not do ... every man whatsoever is right in his own
eyes. Ye shall bring YOUR burnt offerings, and YOUR sacrifices,
and YOUR tithes, and heave offerings of YOUR hand, and YOUR vows,
and YOUR freewill offerings, and the firstlings of YOUR herds and
of YOUR flocks: And there ye shall eat before the Lord your God,
and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put YOUR hand unto, ye and
your households, wherein the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.
Deuteronomy 12:6-8
And, it does not count when the preacher does it for you.
Every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes
the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. Hebrews
10:11
God wants YOUR sacrifices; Matthew 23:3. Plus, you are to put
YOUR hand to something. Try laying YOUR hand upon the word of
God. And when you do, go and learn what this means, 'I will have
mercy, and not sacrifice'; Matthew 9:13. For, if you had known
what it means, you would not have condemned the guiltless,
Matthew 12:7.
Ye, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy
priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God
by Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:5
Proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you.
Amos 4:5 For this is the love of God, that we keep his
commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:3
If ye offer a Sacrifice of Peace offerings unto the Lord, ye
shall offer it at your own will. Leviticus 19:5
And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the
Lord to accomplish his vow ... it shall be perfect to be
accepted; there shall be no blemish therein. Leviticus 22:21
And when ye will offer a Sacrifice of Thanksgiving unto the Lord,
offer it at your own will. Leviticus 22:29
Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare
his works with rejoicing. Psalm 107:22
And if you want to bless God, consider the Sacrifice of Praise.
Jesus, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood,
suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him
without the camp, bearing his reproach. For here have we no
continuing city, but we seek one to come. By him therefore let us
offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the
fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. But to do good and
to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well
pleased. Hebrews 13:12-16
And, once you have done YOUR reasonable service, you should no
longer have the desire to sacrifice others. But, also, know that
it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should
take away sins, either. Wherefore when he cometh into the world,
let us make it possible for Him to say, "Sacrifice and offering
thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me." Hebrews
10:4-5
By faith Abel offered unto God a
more excellent sacrifice than Cain.
Hebrews 11:4
And faith cometh by
hearing the word of God.
Romans 10:17
02/02/08
From the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away,
http://iam.homewithgod.com/glimpses ofgod/humansacri fice.htm
and the abomination that maketh desolate set up,
http://iam.homewithgod.com/glimpses ofgod/falseways. htm
there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

The historic town of Rye in East Sussex is situated close to
the Romney Marshes.
One of the reasons for the popularity of the town of Rye is
that there is so much history here. It has been a town since the
time of the Normans and by the time of the 13th century it had
become a thriving port.
Since that time, storms and "long shore drift" of the coastline
have landlocked the town and it is now around 2 miles away from
the coast.
Walkers often pass through Rye as part of their journey along
the Saxon Shore Way, one of England's long distance footpaths.
If you're following this interesting walk, you may decide to
book your accommodation in Rye so that you can take in the local
sights.
Another popular choice of things to do when you stay in Rye is
to explore the Romney Marshes. These wetlands cover around 100
square miles and even lay claim to their own breed of sheep, who
thrive in the wet conditions of the marshlands and have also
been exported to Australia.
The marshes have been important over the centuries as their
closeness to the European mainland means that they have often
been at the front of the various invasions to England. Amongst
other defenses here, King Arthur built a fortress in the village
of Appledore.
More recently, the Martello Towers were built as part of
England's coastal defenses in the 1800s. This was a series of
small forts standing up to 40 feet high, sometimes surrounded by
a moat to give more chance to keep invaders at bay. You can see
some of these still standing in the area today, preserved as
historic monuments.
Naturally the often bleak nature of the marshlands led to them
being regularly used by smugglers from the 1600s right through
to the 1800s. The sheep were an important part of the smuggling
trade as their wool was smuggled across to continental Europe.
They also inspired Rudyard Kipling to write his famous Smugglers
Song.
If you've ever read the Doctor Syn novels, you'll recognize the
landscape in the area as it was a setting for them.
Those with more energy may want to try their hand at the sport
of kitesurfing, sometimes also known as kiteboarding. You can
experience the thrill of being drawn along the water on a small
board, similar to a surfboard, powered by a kite. Even if you
don't want to participate, you may well be able to spot some
kitesurfers practicing their sport in Rye Harbour or the nearby
Camber Sands.
Shoppers are also catered for. There is a regular Farmers
Market in the town of Rye, where you can buy fresh local farm
produce and also a more varied Country Market which features
locally made crafts and unusual plants as well as food.
When you visit Rye, you'll find a good range of places to stay,
including a variety of small, family run bed and breakfasts and
guest houses, where you are sure to receive a warm welcome.

CRUCIAL TIPS TO TRAIN YOUR DOG
Teach your dog to be happy, healthy, and sociable. Good dog
training is all about bonding with your dog, where the dog has
respect for you and also where the dog clearly recognizes that
the owner is his master and that he or she is the boss.
If the owner assumes the role as the leader, the dog knows and
respects that position, then it will feel more secure and be a
happier pet.
A properly trained dog should never be fearful of it's owner
and that is why most up-to-date methods of dog training focus on
the positive aspects of the dogs actions and reward it for the
good actions that it takes rather than punishing it for anything
that it does that is wrong.
A well trained dog that respects it's owner will always want to
please, and that leads to a better-behaved dog both at home and
when socializing with other dogs and people.
These positive training methods are also great at training dogs
that have consistently done something wrong, as they will
quickly learn that the rewards for good actions are far greater
than the attention they are seeking from their negative actions.
Even older dogs can be trained quite well by using these
methods so a dog is certainly never too old to learn new tricks.
RECOGNITION TRAINING FOR YOUR DOG
Recognition training is quite possibly one of the oldest
methods of training dogs, dating back to the days when people
started trying to naturalize wild animals. Recognition dog
training is probably the method of dog training that most of us
are well known, and it is a natural instinct to reward the dog
when they perform the task that we have asked of them.
Some people prefer to use a combination of the reward training
methods and the leash and collar training to get the best out of
their dog in the least time. Some dogs respond better to reward
training than leash and collar training so your decision might
depend on what method you see working the best with your dog.
HOW LONG SHOULD YOUR DOG-TRAINING SESSIONS BE
There are many different factors that come into play when
determining how long your dog training sessions should be.Just
as people have many and varied personalities, the same is true
for dogs - even within a breed.
Many people recommend that you do a personality analysis before
getting your dog to determine which breed will be most suitable
in your life. Very often, however, we choose dogs based on other
different factors at the time.
The various different breeds of dogs have different personal
qualities and you need to work with these when training your dog
to get the best results. The age of the dog is also a factor in
deciding the ability to be trained.
While young puppies generally have a shorter attention span
they haven't picked up the bad habits of older dogs and in most
cases are easily trained. When training young puppies it is a
good idea to have shorter training clinics, and to end the
training clinics with a bit of fun and games.
When you mix a little fun with the training, you always get
better results, and you will also be more likely to proceed with
the dog training for longer. As the owner and their dog advance
with training, both parties will find it far more enjoyable as
the results will improve and the obvious rewards that both the
dog and the owner receive from one another will bond the
relationship even further.
There's nothing quite like dog training to start off a bond
between the dog owner and his new pet, in the best possible
manner. Dog training is the best thing you could ever do for
your pet for a long lasting relationship.

A lot of people decide to live in Spain for many different
reasons. If you want to live in a comfortable climate, you
cannot choose a better location. But for some, the reasons may
be more practical, such as work or family obligations. If you
decide you want or need to relocate to Spain, you will have to
learn about such requirements as work permits and residency
permits. If you want to be able to get around easily in Spain,
you should also study the Spanish language.
With Spain's economy booming, one of the main reasons people
have to relocate to Spain is job related. In this case, you may
want to consider a professional relocation company to assist you
with all of the details. They can take care of a lot of the
paperwork and make your move as easy as possible. A company such
as this will have a staff that can speak many different
languages. They will take care of all of the details of
relocating, from finding a home, to enrolling your children in
school, to obtaining your residency permits, to registering your
car. Their in depth knowledge of the Spanish culture and
Spanish bureaucracy will save you a lot of anguish.
If you are going to work in Spain, you have to obtain a work
permit. There a different types of permits, depending upon the
type of work you are going to be doing, and how long you will be
working in Spain. A Type "A" permit allows for seasonal work in
Spain, and is only valid for only nine months. Many times this
type of permit will be limited to certain areas of the country.
A Type "B" permit is considered an initial work permit and are
usually for a specific region and only for certain types of
positions. These permits are valid for a year and can be
renewed, but only for a maximum of two years. A Type "C"
permit is not limited to type of job, or to location. A Type
"C" permit is valid for up to three years. Self employed
individuals can obtain a Type "D" permit, which allows them to
work in Spain for up to a year, but can be renewed for up to
two year. These are also limited to certain geographic areas,
and the type of work to be done may also be limited. Each
application is reviewed to determine this.
Type "E" permits are valid for up to three years, and have no
geographical limitation. If someone is given a permanent work
permit, they will have no limitations on the type of work
activity or the geographic location. These are usually granted
after a Type "C" or Type "E" permit has expired.
Regardless of the type of work permit you have, in order Ty
live in Spain, even for as little as three months, you will need
to obtain a foreigner's identification card.

If you are looking for great adventure, a rafting trip is the
perfect getaway for you and your family. There is not much that
can compare to the feeling of being on a fantastic river and all
the excitement that comes with it. There are a number of things
that you will have to do in order to prepare for this vacation
with your family.
You need to think safety first above anything else. If you are
going to use a rafting company, they can help you guide with
safety on the tour. If you are choosing to go at it alone, you
need to know some safety things first. You need to be sure that
you have personal flotation devices for everyone on the raft. It
makes no difference if you are a good swimmer; you need to have
a life saving device on at all times. You should also wear
fabrics that are going to dry quickly. You should wear
lightweight shoes because heavier one can make it hard for you
to swim if you fall in. A solid raft and good paddles can make
your experience much safer. You should always inspect the
equipment before you head out on the trip. Make sure that
everyone in the family has the sense to handle the rapids. You
do not want to get someone scared and let them panic. You need
to make sure that everyone knows what to do if the boat
overturns.
You should also consider the special equipment that is needed
on the trip. Not only do you need life jackets, you need bags
that are water resistant to carry your gear. The one thing that
you want to avoid is to find all of your gear to be soaking wet
after a long day of fighting the wild river. You need to also
make sure that your boat and your paddles are rated well for the
kind of river that you will be on. If not, you should rent or
buy some that can stand up to the test. Having the equipment
that you can trust and feel good about will make your trip much
better.
You should think about what to wear while you are on your trip.
You will want to dress accordingly to the water temperature and
the climate. During the summer time, you can wear shorts and
t-shirts for this time. On the cooler days, you will probably
want to wear a wet suit. This can help you keep warm and it is
fast drying. For some added warmth on the cooler days, you my
need to choose to take some wool or fleece jackets and sweaters.
Wearing a cotton jacket or sweater will not keep you warm and
comfortable. This will take up your body heat. Fleece and wool
will provide insulation even when they are wet.
You need to make sure that you have sun protection. No matter
what the season is, you need to choose the right high powered
sun protection. You will also want to have sunglasses to protect
your eyes. You may even want to carry along a hat for your head
and to help protect your neck and ears. Sunburns can happen very
fast when you are out on the water. You need to prevent yourself
from pain and injury by backing the right sun protection for
everyone.
Lastly you need to be sure that the perfect meals are set up
for your trip. You want things that are easy to prepare, good
tasting, and very nutritious. It is a good idea not to bring
along anything that needs to be kept cold. Once your cooler is
out of ice, the side of the river is a bad place to stop and get
more. More than anything else, you will be tired and ready to
eat so you want to pack something that is easy to prepare and
that will fill your hunger and make you feel good.

When it comes to the wintertime, most people tend to head south
for the holiday. You will find that there are little piles of
snow. You have getaway destinations that will allow you to have
hot and dry weather. You will also find that there are some
sandy beaches involved in these destinations.
You will find that there are Antiqua or Barbuda beaches that
you will be able to visit. You will also find that there are
plenty of places where you can get in those favorite water
sports. You will find that when you head south for Christmas you
will be able to sunbath in 80 degree weather. You will be able
to trade in your snow shovel and replace it with a sand shovel
and bucket. You won't be making snowmen, but sandcastles. There
are plenty of destinations that you can go to and have some good
celebrating times. You will be able to have some drinks on the
beach. You will be able to watch the sun deep down and listen to
the rhythm of the steel drums. You will also find that the only
sounds you will hear are the birds flying ahead. You don't have
to listen to the rushing traffic and you don't have to deal with
hundreds of people getting ready for the next storm or buying
Christmas gifts.
You will be able to make memories when you take your time
making memories in these islands and exotic locations. You will
find that there are many destinations that you will love in the
South American region. You will love lying on the beach and
soaking up the sun, while others find snow on their cars. You
will want to make sure that you do everything you can to enjoy
the beautiful skies and seas of the tropics.
During the day, you will have fun during all of the activities
that the islands provide, but then you can mix things up at
night in the many clubs. You will be able to dance the entire
night way and then come back to the hotel and do it all over
again the next day. You will find that there is all different
kinds of fun when you go away for the holiday. It's also a great
place to take the entire family. There are sites like the Rio's
statue of liberty or swim with dolphins at Monkey Mia. There are
plenty of things to do and it'll never be dull.
When you take your time to explore areas like Singapore, you
will find that there is a cultural melting pot. You will find
that it has four languages including Chinese, Malay, Tamil, and
English. You will find the best foods in Singapore and you will
be able to enjoy drinking tea in Chinatown or have a ball in
Little India. There are tons of things that you can do in the
modern city of Singapore.
There are many areas of the exotic that you can take your
family for the holiday, but you will also find that there are
many places that you can go to forget about the cold weather and
the snow in your drive way. Everyone needs to get away in the
winter months, but it's just to get back to remembering how
spring is. Winter is so draining, but with a vacation to a warm
and exotic place, you'll be able to come back and finish out the
season.

How to Build Credibility Online : The 15 Steps

How to Build Credibility Online : The 15 Steps
I find this a most interesting and somewhat complex subject, as there has to be TRUST in any business relationship before any exchange is made. This can be quite difficult to achieve, when you have never met your customer (prospect) face to face in another part of the country...or even the world.
Having been on the www about a decade (thanks to my clever "technogeek" friends), here are a few pointers that we find helpful in the online sales process:
1. Have your OWN DOMAIN NAME (not expensive - less than $20 a
year from 000Domains.com. Most important for online success, as it makes you look "more professional and not cheapskate"...even though you may be living in a garden shed (or even in a plastic bag in a septic tank - thanks Monty Python)!
2. Offer GUARANTEES (money-back) on your products or services
N.B:
3. Emphasise transaction SECURITY in the form of a secure payment
system and a secure server.
4. OFFER TESTIMONIALS from satified customers.
5. Have a PRIVACY POLICY for your online business.
Offer a Privacy Statement
6. Have CONTACT INFO on your web site. People then know to get
hold of you, if they want further info... or if there is a
problem (they do occur from time to time, but remember, a problem is only
an opportunity in disguise!).
7. Offer a BRIEF BIO - a little bit about yourself and how you
are qualified to offer your product or service. This builds trust
in your abilities... and makes you a "real person".
8. Have a FEEDBACK FORM on your web site for visitors comments
about possible improvements.
9. BE YOURSELF, YET BE PROFESSIONAL IN YOUR WRITING (on your web site). Just be YOU, when writing copy on your website or in your ezine articles . Ensure the information is accurate and timely - writing with absolute integrity and honesty. Also suggest using a bit of HUMOUR in your writing. I try to use a "dollop", as I believe reading a computer screen is not a very exciting pastime (except to "geeks"). It's also a sedentary (big word) activity; so the least I can do for our site visitors, as a reward, is attempting informing and trying to entertain at the same time with doses of my "rather strange/wacky/ zany" humour. Hopefully it works and gets appreciated.
10. Use proper grammar and punctuation (with the right "case")
and avoid misspelling. This makes you appear to be
"professional"- in your writing and in your "appearance" ...
and image is EVERYTHING on the www.
11. Avoid using slang. Remember, the Internet is global and your "funny language" might offend other cultures. For example, I've learnt to avoid using the word "Yank", after someone pointed out to me that it could be seen to be offensive to some southerners!
12. Send all marketing email to yourself first as a test. Check
the layout, spelling and grammar...to see how it looks in your
prospective client's eyes - ie. on THEIR computers. Also re-read to check for "typo" errors and the flow of your words ("arty/farty writer types" call this rhythm and cadence, btw).
13. Think before you re-act to an abusive message. "Strike in
haste and repent in leisure ("Impulsive" I've done that a few times - not that I get many negative messages!). My advice...leave the
message in your "in-box" for a day. Then look at it after you
have calmed down...and decide whether it is worthy of a response:
Will it change anything? Perhaps the sender is just having a
disasterous day and after deliberation, you can send a word of
kindly encouragement in your "carefully composed" reply.
(The subconscious mind will help you in this).
14. Really CARE about people and treat them with respect as fellow human 'beans'. Like you'd like to be trated!
We all have frailties and are vulnerable at times. More
times than at others. We can get all what WE want in life through
helping other people get what THEY want (thanks Zig Zigler)...
and finally... and most importantly,
15. "GIVE AND THOU SHALT RECEIVE." GIVE FREE INFORMATION ...
AND YOU WILL SURELY RECEIVE FAR MORE IN RETURN. (Everybody has unique knowledge and expertise in certain areas - specialised skills, which can help others through SHARING). This is "the Golden Rule", the Law of Giving, which is the basis of all the religions of the world (I think!).
If you are a "total non-techno" like me, leave your web site to the experts, the professional web designers, rather than trying to do it yourself. This will save a lot of frustration (GRRRR....FFFF...) and allow you to focus on what you do best, that is running your business.
Become a "busy internet marketing bee" in building your online
credibility and so making a name for yourself in the "vast unchartered world of cyberspace".
Follow all these steps and people then will be attracted to your
web site (and regular TRAFFIC is THE BASIS/KEY FOR SALES),
like bees to a honey-pot (that's a simile, by the way!).
Here's to finding your "pot of gold" at the end of the internet
marketing "rainbow".*
* that's a metaphor, BTW
Eagle Productions Books ("Information Distributors, Incorrigible Encouragers and People-builders")
"Give a man* a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man
to use the Internet and he won't bother you for months...or
perhaps even years!"
* However, I presume this principle also applies to our 'more sensible' women-folk. Sorry men!

Everyone loves designer perfumes, but nobody loves designer
prices. Fashionable people of all types, men and women, young
and old, rich and poor all want to add some class and style to
themselves with the perfect designer fragrance. The use of
perfumes as a symbol of elegance and style is as old as humanity
itself. Designer scents enhance the personality of a person and
also help to attract other people. The gift of a designer
perfume is something that everyone appreciates. And the receiver
of your gift never needs to know the price you paid for their
designer gift.
The Recent Explosion in Designer Scents
Perfumes have all ways been with us. You can go back to the
biblical times and find them being used and given. Historically
perfumes were produced from natural, rare and expensive
ingredients. However in modern times the makers of perfumes have
taken a radically different course. There are now more and more
man made ingredients being used when creating the perfect scent
for a new perfume. Thus, there has been a proliferation of
discount designer perfumes not just because the ingredients are
cheaper, but they lend themselves to being produced faster as
well.
These days you can easily buy discount designer perfume such as
Eau De Dolce Vita by Christian Dior for less than twenty-five
dollars. This is a refreshing, flowery fragrance, possessing the
fragrance of freshly cut flowers with a blend of aromatic woods
mingled with overtones of vanilla. It is a fragrance that is
very well suited for wearing during the day and to the office.
Another designer perfume that you can often buy at a decent
discount is Polo Black Cologne by Ralph Lauren. In a discount
retailer that can typically be found for less than fifteen
dollars. This designer perfume has a blend of Silver Armoise,
Iced Mango and also Patchouli Noir and is ideally suited for the
style conscious male.
Search On Line
Searching on line will produce a overwhelming choice of Web
sites and adverts for all the major designer brands. Most
discount designer perfumes such as Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana
have distinctive fragrances that will enhance your life and are
totally irresistible when worn, being especially lively and
totally feminine as well as resolute. All you need to do is to
find a store that offers these excellent perfumes at knock down
prices and a search on the Internet will throw up many options.
But with so much competition in finding different discount
designer perfume stores, you will need to do a fair bit of
searching before you find a perfume that matches your needs and
which also is well priced for you.
Browse The Blogs
Rather than relying on the search engines you should check out
the blogs of people who are passionate about perfume and see
what the community is saying about your favorite designer
fragrances. To find a blog search for "Blog About Perfume" or
"Review of ..." your favorite designer fragrance. Look for a
blog that has a lot of comments on their posts. More community
interaction on the site usually means a better quality of
information and opinions from many different people to help you
chose where to get your discount designer perfume on line.

Essential Oil Kits
Are you well versed with Aromatherapy? Here is some useful
information about Essential Oil Kits
Aromatherapy is a recent therapeutic technique or science which
makes use essential oils to build up and create a certain
positive effect upon the human cells and the body as a whole.
This has a very refreshing effect which is beneficial to the
human body and mind. This effect is being created or induced by
the special aroma or external application of these special
aromatherapy essential oils.
Aromatherapy does rely very heavily upon these variety of
special essential oils. If a person or an individual is very new
to this aroma therapy, there are so many inexpensive ways to
know and determine if aromatherapy meets his individual
requirements and needs. One of these method is the use of
aromatherapy item called the essential oil kit.
A basic essential oil kit should be comprised of three basic
items. These items include a diffuser, aromatherapy decoder and
the basic essential oils.
More specifically, there are certain essential oils, such as
lavender oil, which can really help to reduce stress and help
you eventually fall asleep and relax completely. Moreover, there
are essential oils or aromas which can serve or stimulate to
energize and refresh an individual through various aroma therapy
uses and techniques. These Oils or aromas are extracted purely
from basic natural elements found on our planet. These are
elements which include ingredients from spices, flowers and
trees etc.
Diffuser
As with any product there are different types of diffusers that
are available to the consumer. Some of those type of diffusers
found in essential oil kits include candles made from the
essential oil, electric diffusers, nebulizers, or a nicely
crafted container that holds the oil and is heated using a tea
light.
One of the most important items which comprise an essential oil
kit is an aroma therapy diffuser. Basically, an aroma therapy
diffuser is an item that helps to release the healing properties
of the essential oils that are used in aromatherapy. This
release is accomplished when the diffuser is heated and in turn
transfers that heat to the essential oil. This process allows
the release of the aroma so that it can be inhaled and be used
effectively in providing therapy.
Aromatherapy Decoder
An important part of an essential oil kit is an aromatherapy
decoder. In order to understand the effects of the essential
oils upon the body it is important to have a handy guide that
clearly shares aromatherapy information with the novice.
In addition, the essential oils are defined according to their
specific properties, instruction on how to use them, blending of
essential oils that need to be accomplished and precautions
regarding their use. When the decoder is turned the various
essential oils and their corresponding therapeutic effects are
highlighted. This decoder may come in different styles but
basically is circular in design.
Basic Essential Oils
Basic Essential Oils generally included in the essential oil
kit are Lavender, Rosemary and Eucalyptus.
Rosemary oil can be used for particularly for congestion in the
lungs, strep germs and fatigue and counter staph. Eucalyptus
essential oil can provide antiviral and antibacterial effects as
well as help to clear your congestion and act as a therapeutic
relief for arthritis and rheumatism. Lavender Oil produces a
very calming and relaxing effect. Therefore, Lavender helps
individuals to first calm down, reduce his anxiety and to sleep
well.
Thus you can see how the essential oil kit will be helpful to
you and benefit you when you apply and take advantage of its
various curative and therapeutic values, when used under special
guidance from a licensed practitioner.

It's the biggest day of their lives and you have been selected
to be the photographer. Now that's quite an honor and a
responsibility. Everyone is counting on you to take wonderful
pictures so everyone who attends can enjoy easy photo sharing.
But there's no reason to panic. We've got a complete checklist
so you can keep the smiles on everybody's faces. These handy
tips will help you deliver a wonderful record of this special
occasion that will make for easy photo sharing for years to
come.
Tip #1: Bring along the right camera
Let's start right from the top. What kind of camera should you
use? Fortunately, there is an easy answer. Ideally, you'd use an
ultra wide with 100mm lens range. This will allow for just about
any kind of photo opportunity that comes up. Also, don't forget
the tripod for those beautiful, "moody" shots and a reflector
for window shots - both are helpful when the bride and groom are
looking for high quality pictures that will allow for photo
printing.
Tip #2: Go to the bride's home the day of the ceremony
Many photographers just show up at the reception hall, ready to
go. But you may want to go to the bride's house first. Even
thought it may be in a state of turmoil, this is a great time
take pictures of the bride, her mom, and the bridesmaids.
They'll love it when they can enjoy easy photo sharing years
after this special time, when they can look back on the
anticipation and excitement they felt.
Be creative! Create photo opportunities inside and outside the
home. These "extra" touches will help the family with easy photo
sharing over the years - and they'll appreciate your efforts at
helping them stay connected.
Tip #3: Be "invisible" at the ceremony
During the ceremony, a photographer needs to be invisible. You
need to blend in as much a possible. The attention and focus
should always be the bride and groom.
Many photographers make a major mistake at weddings - they
bring along a flash! Remember, you should rarely if ever use a
flash because it's a major distraction. You may want to ask the
happy couple before hand - and if they say okay, then use it,
but use it sparingly.
Tip #4: How to create those special shots
Finally, this is your chance to shine. While you've been fairly
restrained up until now, here's where you'll have to step up an
create photos that will have everyone gushing. So if you want
pictures the happy couple to be proud of - if you want to take
photos that are perfect for easy photo sharing and photo
printing -- be assertive, but polite!
You'll need to take group shots of individual tables -- so move
quickly and tell the guests exactly what you want them to do. If
need be, ask a family member or an usher to help you create a
special grouping or environment that will be especially
memorable. You'll take photos that will give the event depth and
meaning for everyone who attends, and they'll be such good
photos people will go online looking for photo printing websites
as soon as they get their pictures!
Tip #5: Keep posing to a minimum
Obviously, there are some occasions when posing is necessary --
especially those group shots of each table. But what will
separate your photo album from all the rest is how many genuine
moments you capture.
Be alert! You'll get the best photos by photographing a quick
kiss, a longing look, a squeezed hand, and a loving embrace that
are all spontaneous and spectacular! And if you keep vigilant
and keep an eye out, you'll capture moments that will become
treasured heirlooms for future generations to enjoy. Because of
your attention to detail and sharp eye, the bride and groom will
be able to share memories - created by you - for decades to
come. If you keep posing to a minimum, you will providing great
photos for easy photo sharing.
Tip #6: Add a slideshow DVD
Want to help the happy couple share photos in a unique and
exciting new way? Then create a slideshow DVD. This is a great
for easy photo sharing and photo printing.
Many more people today love to sit and relax with a DVD and
enjoy reliving the laughter and the tears of the wedding. A DVD
becomes a great companion to a beautiful photo album.
Weddings are a new beginning and a major milestone in life. And
with today's sophisticated equipment, you can shoot photos that
look crystal-clear and razor-sharp.

If you have ever sold on eBay before you know what it's like to
run out of things to sell. I have been selling on eBay for a
little over a year, and I have enjoyed every second of it. I
gained my Powerseller status 8 months after I started selling.
What does one do when they have sold everything in their home
that they didn't want? In this guide, I will give you some great
ideas on what to do when you are in this situation and ways you
can find more things to sell.
The first thing I want to talk about is going to garage sales.
Garage sales can be a great source of finding products if done
correctly. The main key to success is dedication. You have to
have a strategy or you will never find anything worth while.
Knowing what you are looking for is very important especially if
you are going to 20 or more garage sales a day. When I go to
garage sales I focus on vintage electronics. If you know what
you are looking for you can get in, look around, and get out
quickly so you can go to the next one. I have made thousands of
dollars using this method. The hardest thing is getting up at 6
in the morning on a Saturday.
The second thing I want to talk about is finding products using
www.Craigslist.org. Most people don't realize how powerful this
site is and they don't give it much of a chance. Craigslist is
an online classifieds website that features thousands of cities
in the U.S and many countries overseas. When you visit this site
find your state, and then city or a city near you. The section
you should focus on is the "For Sale" section, especially the
Electronics section. The way I search for products is I have
craigslist open and have eBay opened in another window. As I go
through the electronics section of craigslist if I see something
I am interested in I check the price, then check the completed
listings on eBay. If there is a great enough profit I contact
the seller on craigslist to arrange the sale. This is an awesome
way to find products, because craigslist changes everyday which
means there are more potential products to find. Please note
when you do arrange a sale make sure you do it in a public place
to ensure your safety.
The next thing I will talk to you about is creating your own
product to sell. Digital delivery products have exploded on eBay
and people are making thousands of dollars everyday. The most
popular type is selling eBooks. There are thousands of ebooks
for sale on eBay from "How to get rich" to "How to cook." The
best part about selling ebooks is that once you have created an
ebook you can sell it as many times as you like.
The final thing we will talk about is bargain shopping. I have
made far more money using this method that any other. The
website you should visit is www.slickdeals.net. This website is
where people post the deals that they found shopping at stores
and online. I suggest you visit this site everyday looking for
hot deals. As you go down the list just compare sale prices, and
check the completed listings on eBay. If the deal is sweet
enough go to the store and buy as many as you can. The best
thing about this method is that you usually have between a 30-90
day return policy. This is great because you can't lose. If you
can't sell the product you can just bring it back to the store
and get your money back.
No matter what you decide to sell just make sure you are having
fun doing it. I hope these methods will help you find more
things to sell on eBay. Best of luck!

A child gives a school friend a hug or borrows her hairbrush.
Friends of your children stay the night and share a bed. These
things are all it takes to catch head lice. Head lice are one of
the most annoying and irritating things to deal with, but there
is help. Whether you decide to utilize an over-the-counter
medication or a great home remedy, this article will provide you
with some important tips to help rid you of head lice. So,
without further adieu, let's get started.
Over-the-Counter Tips
Should you decide to purchase an over-the-counter medication,
there are a few tips that will help you achieve success.
Any sort of medication you use will need to be re-applied to
the hair 6 to 10 days later. This is so the medication will kill
any of the newly hatched head lice. Comb the hair again very
thoroughly with a fine-tooth comb.
When treating your hair with an over-the-counter medication,
follow the label directions very closely and read the entire
label. For hairbrushes, barrettes, clips, combs, and other
accessories, run a sink full of hot water. Place a cap or two of
the over-the-counter medication under the running water. Soak
these things in the hot water for 30 minutes to an hour.
Ensure that each and every strand of hair as well as the
scalp is completely saturated with the medication before you
allow the medication to sit.
Home Remedy Tips
There are many proven home remedies that people have found
successful in eliminating head lice for good.
Utilize mayonnaise or petroleum jelly to suffocate the head
lice in the hair. You will need to saturate the hair completely,
as well as the scalp. Cover the head with a shower cap and allow
the infected person to sleep this way. The next morning, rinse
thoroughly and comb with a fine-tooth comb.
If you find it difficult to remove the mayonnaise or
petroleum jelly, sprinkle baby powder or flour into the hair
before washing completely.
Anise oil is a natural insecticide, so dilute several drops
with olive oil and spray on the hair to treat head lice. This
can also be used to cover your hair accessories.
Miscellaneous Tips
Be sure to treat the bedding, stuffed animals, hats, and
scarves of the infected person. These can be placed in a
plastic, airtight bag for three weeks. They can also be placed
in the dryer on the hottest setting for an hour.
Utilize an over-the-counter head lice-killing spray to treat
mattresses, furniture, carpets, rugs, and throw pillows. This
will help to prevent re-infestation.
In conclusion, head lice are no fun and can be a royal itch in
the head. By utilizing preventive measures and teaching your
children never to share hairbrushes, hats, hair accessories or
other items, you may be able to prevent head lice. However, if
you or your child already has head lice, you can still get rid
of them. Simply follow the previously mentioned head lice tips
and be diligent in your removal efforts. In no time at all,
you'll be lice free.

Four Things to Consider Before Investing in the Financial Markets
Are you ready to make money in the stock market? Investing
is an important step towards building your personal wealth,
and there are many things to consider before you begin.
Your present financial situation
You need to begin by evaluating your current financial
situation. Consider your assets, your liabilities, your
total household income and the amount of discretionary
income that you have available to invest on a monthly
basis. Your discretionary income is the income that you
have left over each month after you pay all of your
household expenses. Next, you need to evaluate your current
level of cash reserves. Cash reserves can be defined as the
assets set aside in the case of an emergency or for an
opportunity. An example of an opportunity would be a great
investment, a real estate property that you want to buy or
a great vacation discount that you want to take advantage
of. It is recommended that you keep between 3-6 months of
your total household expenses set aside as cash reserves.
The other factor to consider is the level of your personal
protection. Your most important asset is your ability to
earn an income. Protecting yourself, your home, your
vehicles and your family is important. Evaluate your levels
of insurance coverage to determine whether it is sufficient
to cover your present needs.
What are you saving toward?
Everybody saves for a purpose. Some people save to ensure a
better retirement. Some people are saving to buy a car,
home or a new boat. Some are saving to ensure that their
children have a great college education. Before you begin
to save, sit down and think about all of your goals, and
then prioritize them based on personal importance. Ask
yourself whether these goals pass the acid test. The acid
test asks if you would be willing to do whatever it takes
to achieve these goals. For example- Would you reduce your
lifestyle and expenses to save more money if it would
ensure that you reached your goal? If a goal does not pass
the acid test then you should remove it from your list.
Next, define each goal with a time frame and an amount. For
example- I need to have $50,000 saved for my oldest son by
2010 to pay for his education, is a clearly stated goal.
Once you have defined your goals, determine the dollar
amount needed to save to achieve them and the length of
time you have to save for them. These factors will be taken
into consideration when making your individual investment
selections.
Do you understand your investment options?
Consider investing into mutual funds if you are a new
investor into the stock market. Mutual funds are comprised
of multiple individual stocks or bonds and usually offer a
smaller initial investment amount to be contributed on a
monthly basis. This smaller dollar amount makes it possible
for a variety of investors to begin saving into the stock
market without large sums of cash already set aside.
Understanding stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate
investment trusts, cash value life insurance, annuities and
trusts is an important place to start when you are a
beginning to invest. Research each investment option to
determine which combination will best assist you in
reaching your financial goals.
Define your Investment Risk Tolerance
Now that you have an understanding of the stock market, you
need to determine your personal risk tolerance before you
start to invest. Your risk tolerance refers to the amount
of variance you are comfortable with in your portfolio, and
is often defined by how far away the goals that you are
savings towards are. Investors are typically categorized as
Aggressive, Moderately Aggressive, Moderately Conservative
and Conservative. Each investor type is characterized by
their investment portfolio, their time frame to save, their
expected portfolio returns and their overall tolerance to
withstand portfolio value changes on an annual basis.
These are the most important things to consider before you
invest into the stock market. Having a financial plan that
you implement will increase your chances for financial
success.
This is not investment advice. Before implementing any
investment strategies, consult your financial advisor or
financial professional.

If you own a long case clock such as a grandfather or
grandmother clock, you no doubt have come to love the beauty of
its tolling chimes. The classic chime tones that toll from many
grandfather clocks have roots in history. Many of us have heard
these beautiful melodies without really knowing much about their
origin. The variety of clock chimes is fairly wide but there a
few classics that have become standard favorites of clockmakers
and owners alike.
Some makers of grandfather clocks have been know to incorporate
more than one chime tone, giving owners a choice to change the
chime. Most standard grandfather clock movements utilize either
a twelve or a sixteen chime configuration. The twelve chime
arrangement is thought to be the most common. The chimes or
tubular bells are struck by hammers at very precise intervals
creating the desired melody.
Some grandfather and other long case designs may use just a
simple, repetitious chime to mark the hour and half hour
segments. Those floor clocks with multiple chime designs make
use of several familiar and historic melodies.
Westminster
The historic clock tower at the Palace of Westminster in London
has tolled, with very few exceptions, since 1859. Known in
popular culture as Big Ben, the clock is the largest four face
chiming clock in the world. Featuring the largest bell ever cast
at 13 tons, the chimes and the great bell rings out a melody
that has become known simply as Westminster. The most famous
clock chime melody in the world was quickly adopted by chime
clockmakers. There are several variations of the melody with
some minor changes in pitch and rhythm.
Saint Michaels
While many chime clockmakers adopted the classic Westminster as
a chime tone, another equally beautiful clock chime has its
origins in the New World. A little known church in South
Carolina became the home of bells that were originally cast in
England in the 1760s. The bells were hung in the steeple of
Saint Michaels Church in the city of Charleston, South Carolina.
During the Revolutionary War, the British Army captured
Charleston. Along with other spoils of war, the British removed
the bells from the church and sent them back to England. When
the hostilities ended, arrangements were made to send the bells
back to Saint Michaels. In the early 1820s crack were found in
the bells, and once again found their way back to London to be
remade.
During the American Civil War, there was an attempt to keep the
bells out of the hands of the Union Army. In spite of being
hidden away in Columbia, South Carolina, the fortunes of war
were not kind to the bells of Saint Michaels. During the Union
invasion of Columbia, the armies of General Sherman destroyed
the bells. Since the original molds still resided in England,
the bells were once again recast and the new set sent back to
Charleston. In 1867, the bells were hung in the church where
they have been to this day.
Whittington
The origins of the Whittington chime are thought to be much
older than the popular Westminster chime. Located in the
Cheapside area of London, the Church of Saint Mary Le Bow has
been home to the bells since 1392.
Ave Maria
The chiming of Ave Maria follows that melody of this beautiful
song. Written by the classical composer Franz Schubert as part
of a larger work, the song has long been a favorite of church
choirs and operatic performers for many years and is one the
most recognizable and beloved melodies in the world.
