Debt collection has become an issue with some consumers.
Generally, debt collection procedures do not begin until after
the lender has tried a variety of ways to get paid what is owed
them. Some of the more common methods that lenders use include
sending letters of delinquent payment and perhaps placing phone
calls to the borrower's home. When these methods have proven to
be futile, the lender may pass the loan onto a debt collection
agency or company.
In times past, debt collection agencies could and would use a
variety of tactics to get people to pay. In some cases these
tactics were more along the lines of harassment and intimidation
than they were good business practices. It was not uncommon for
some agencies to call a borrower's place of work. Some of the
more aggressive types would call regularly and that often caused
trouble for the worker. Other companies would falsely tell
people that they (the debt collection agency) were going to
garnish wages if the bill wasn't paid quickly. Many consumers
did not know that wage garnishments have to come through a court
and cannot be levied by a debt collection agency. There were
plenty of other tactics used as well. Some were verbal and some
were written.
After years of abuses such as these, the Federal government
finally had to step in and impose certain limitations on debt
collection agencies. Today, these same types of agencies have to
follow guidelines and rules as stated in the Fair Debt
Collection Practices Act. Under these rules, collectors are not
allowed to do certain things. These include:
Debt collectors may not harass, oppress or abuse anyone. They
may not use threats or harm the person, his property or his
reputation. In addition, they are not allowed to publish a list
of consumers who refuse to pay their debts, except to a credit
bureau. The use of obscene or profane language whether in person
or over the telephone is strictly prohibited. Repetitive
telephone calls to harass the person are also not allowed. Debt
collectors are not allowed to use false information in order to
get a person to pay up. Unless it is true, debt collectors are
not allowed to say that they have attorneys working the case.
They may not act as if they are attorneys working on the case
unless they really are. They cannot falsely imply that you have
committed a crime.
In other matters, they are not allowed to falsely represent
that they work for any credit bureau. Debt collectors must not
misrepresent the amount of your debt. They cannot tell you that
papers being sent to you are legal forms when they are not and
vice-versa. They cannot tell you that you will be arrested if
you do not pay your debt. In addition, they are not allowed to
seize, garnish, attach or sell your property or wages without
court approval. Lastly, they cannot try to frighten you by
telling you that they are going to take legal action against you
if that action is not available as a legal course of action.
You can learn more about your rights and what to do if you are
abused by visiting any of the consumer right's websites.

Certain doctors have been aware of follicular units for a long
time now, but the knowledge only recently made its way into hair
transplant methods. Now these ideas are being used in hair
restoration every day.
To understand how follicular units have affected hair
transplant surgery practices, it is necessary to first
understand what a follicular unit is. A follicular unit is a
single entity that is made up of several parts. All these parts
are necessary to the whole.
The first part, and the one most people getting hair transplant
surgery are interested in, is the hairs. There should be one to
four full hair follicles in the unit and one or two fine hairs
as well. There are sebaceous glands in the follicular unit
which produce oil.
The follicular unit is a living unit with muscle, nerves and
blood vessels that are all tiny enough to fit into this small
package. The unit is set off by a band of collagen that holds
it together. If you look under a microscope at a scalp, you can
see follicular units growing in just this way.
The idea of bringing this information into hair transplant
procedures led to innovative surgical methods. Rather than just
moving around individual hair follicles, surgeons actually moved
a unit which contained everything the hair needed to keep
growing. The results were ground-breaking.
One way surgeons used to move the donor follicular units to the
balding areas was by single strip harvesting. This is done by
moving small strips of tissue containing follicular units. This
method keeps the units intact and ready to transplant. Earlier
methods such as mini-grafting and micro-grafting broke up the
follicular units.
As a part of the hair transplant process with Follicular Unit
Transplantation (FUT), a new microscope technique was used. It
is called stereomicroscopic dissection. This means that the
follicular units are carefully taken out of the donor tissue and
kept individually intact.
When doctors use hair transplant procedures with FUT, they do
not have to use quite as large of a donor site. The follicular
units are small and they can be separated from tissue that has
no hair, under the microscope. That way, only the tissue that
grows hair is transplanted. It is a much more efficient
procedure in that way.
Follicular units placed during hair transplant procedures are
put into tiny holes the size of needles. The insertion sites
heal quickly, and they leave no marks. This makes for a much
more comfortable recovery and better results.
FUT hair transplant procedures can make a big difference in the
number of times a patient will have to go back for more
treatments. More grafts can be done at one session, so that the
patient has to go back fewer times. This is more convenient to
patients.
Hair transplant done using follicular unit procedures is
becoming more and more the norm. Possibly this is because it
puts hair into the scalp in the same arrangement as it grows
there naturally. This represents a leap forward in hair
transplant technology.

PPC (Pay Per Click) is probably one of the most cost effective
ways of targeted advertising on the internet. Forbes magazine
has reported that PPC, or Pay Per Click, accounts for 2 billion
dollars a year and is expected to increase to around 8 billion
dollars by 2008.
Here is a brief look at how PPC works.
PPC search engines create listings and rate them based on bids
placed by the advertiser. These bids are what the advertiser is
willing to pay for each click received from that search engine.
Advertisers must bid against each other to get a higher ranking
for their keywords and so achieve a better position in the
search engine. The highest bidder for a certain keyword will be
ranked as number 1 in the PPC Search Engines, followed by the
second and third highest bidder and so on, up to the last
advertiser to have placed a bid. Your adverts will then appear
prominently on the results pages dependent upon the dollar
amount bid that you have agreed to pay per click.
So how do you make money by using PPC?
Affiliate programs only pay when a sale has been made or lead
delivered by clicking through to your site. Your earnings will
depend on the strength of your PPC ad which determines your CTR
(click through rate), and the strength of your sales page.
PPC should be in your advertising arsenal because it is the
ONLY way to practically guarantee a good position in the search
engine listings thus giving you more of a chance to make a sale.
PPC can be very useful for your website. You will not only get
sales from those who are searching the web to find the products
and services that they want, but you will also be able to build
your site's authority as a valuable resource. The visitors who
have found what they wanted from your site are more than likely
to come back and see what you are offering more closely. This
will give you a chance of repeat custom and even more income. It
is a good idea to build a list of your customers details by
incorporating a form on your website for them to complete. Lists
built like this give you a strong market to cater too.
If you don't have a website and product of your own to promote,
there are plenty of affiliate sites to profit from. These
affiliate sites have ready made products and websites for you to
promote, and you receive a percentage of the profit from every
sale you make. They will even give you sales copy and other
tools and resources to help you in your marketing efforts. This
is an excellent idea. You need have no storage facilities and
will have no fulfillment costs. All you have to do is advertise
the products and any sales will be dealt with by the affiliate
owner.
So all in all PPC is a must have resource in your on line
business.

For years, the only way you could sell your home through a
broker was to pay a commission based on a percentage of sales
price, often 6 to 7%. The higher the price of the home, the more
an agent would receive for selling it. An agent selling a
$1,000,000 home would make ten times more than one selling a
$100,000 home. But does an agent do ten times more work selling
a $1,000,000 than a $100,000 home? Certainly not. Agents might
have spent slightly more marketing an expensive home, but
largely the costs of providing the service was the same. While
homeowners wanted a different type of commission, for years they
had very few options.
In the 80's and 90's, different brokers around the country saw
an opportunity and decided to experiment with a new price
structure: the flat fee. Rather than charge a commission based
on a percentage of sales price, their would be one flat fee
regardless of sales price, often $1000 to $10,000 with $2995 and
$3995 seeming to be common. The savings to homeowners could be
large, especially for higher-priced homes. The concept began to
become popular and put pressure on traditional agencies to price
their services more competitively. A discussion of commissions
came up more often, and agents faced more pressure to outline
exactly what they were doing to justify their fees. Some agents
started to realize that they might be able to make more money by
charging less, but listing many more homes per year. Companies
grew and national franchises began to use the flat fee model as
a means of differentiating themselves from the competition.
While homeowners would only be charged a flat fee by the
listing broker, it is important to note that to gain exposure to
buyer's brokers through the Multiple Listing Service (MLS),
homeowners usually also offered a commission to any buyer broker
that brought a buyer. More often than not, this remained a
percentage, often 2.5 to 3%. The thought is that the buyer's
broker is the one that ends up doing the most work in a
transaction, helping their buyer to locate properties,
previewing and showing properties to their client, drafting the
purchase contract, arranging inspections, etc. Thus, the
thinking goes, they deserve to earn a higher fee than the
listing broker.
Today, the flat fee listing concept has been refined and
polished. Brokers have unbundled their service offering to allow
homeowners to pick and choose exactly the services they do or do
not want. For instance, an MLS listing might only cost $300 to
$400, while a virtual tour might cost $100 to $200, and a sign
might cost $5 to $100 depending on its quality. A homeowner that
lived in a subdivision that did not allow signs would not have
to pay for one, while they might opt for a virtual tour to
showcase to prospective buyers some of the luxury finishes of
their home. Flat fee listings are no longer just a small niche
in the real estate world. Hundreds of thousands of homeowners
have chosen flat fee listings for the cost savings and control
over the listing that they allow. What was once an experiment is
now reshaping the real estate industry.

Once you've been diagnosed with acid reflux disease, there are
some changes you'll have to make to your diet and lifestyle in
order to feel better permanently. While you may have experienced
severe symptoms in the beginning, continuing to eat the foods
that cause reflux symptoms could prove to be harmful to the body
in the long run. Here are some of things you can do to minimize
this condition in your life, one step at a time.
In order to get rid of the lingering symptoms that can
sometimes be a part of reflux, such as slight headaches, stomach
pain, or hoarseness, you'll want to make sure that you reduce
your stress level as much as possible. You can do this may
making sure that you enjoy yourself by laughing with friends and
family, and even taking time out for yourself a few times a
week. You should also make sure that you're getting your
exercise in every week; riding a bike, brisk walking, and
jogging are all great ways to make sure that your acid reflux
disease doesn't flare up again, and taking up activities like
yoga and meditation are good ways to center your mind and body
as well.
Wearing loose clothing can also help you to reduce the
discomfort you feel from acid reflux disease. Many times, tight
belts or shirts can make your chest pain even worse, so wear
clothes that are comfortable for you, especially if you will be
eating while on a trip. If you drink or smoke often, reducing
these activities, and eventually stopping them, will help you to
regain the strength of your heart, and reduce the erosion of the
esophagus that comes with reflux.
Changing your eating habits will also help you to get rid of
acid reflux disease. If you are used to eating a large meal
every night, or if you have a large breakfast, you may find that
your discomfort starts right after eating, making it hard to
sleep--or stay awake. Instead, try eating 4 or 5 small meals
every day, so that your body will be able to process the food at
its own pace. Eating too much or too fast can also cause stomach
contents to be pushed back into the esophagus, so smaller meals
may be best for awhile. You should also make sure that you are
active after eating; don't lie down right after a meal. Help out
with the dishes, take a walk, or spend some time playing with
the kids so that your food can digest properly.
When you are ready to turn in for the night, make sure your
food has had at least three hours to digest, and try to sleep
with your torso somewhat elevated. Acid reflux disease is easy
to manage if you follow a few simple rules in order to get your
health back; for more information and prescription information,
be sure to consult your doctor.

History of photo printing
It's amazing that photo printing something that used to
involve a lot of time and effort can now be referred to as
"photo printing." Just a few short years ago, getting a photo
print meant going through a wide variety of steps, not the least
of which involved buying film, taking it to the processor,
getting back a bunch of prints you really didn't want, etc.
In fact, it has gone beyond simple convenience. photo printing
is partly responsible for a worldwide surge in creativity.
People who never thought of themselves as creative are now
taking digital pictures, uploading them to the web and then
outputting their work with photo printing.
This is all thanks to the technological innovations in the
digital age. Just a few years ago, we were all still fumbling
with loading film in camera. (Ever load it backwards? Or forget
to load it completely? Don't be ashamed, most of us did both at
one time or another.) No matter who you are or where you live,
it's hard to escape the digital photographic boom that's
happening online.
photo printing not so easy in 1839
Think back to the very old days of photography it began in
1839 and was isolated to people who understood how chemicals
interacted. It took most of a day and a lot of preparation to
get just a couple of photos so much for photo printing.
The type of "photo printing" process they used in 1839 is still
very similar to what is used today. It's basically a five-step
process that requires a darkroom, multiple trays filled with
chemicals, some a bit dangerous, expensive equipment, and a lot
of time.
Now there is a place for this type of photo printing for
people who really enjoy the process, artists who want to get a
certain effect, hobbyists, etc. People still have film cameras,
darkrooms, light sensitive paper, and lots of fun exploring this
fascinating art form. It truly has its rewards. However, in this
day and age, it is not photo printing.
Innovation brings photo printing to the masses
Photography started to really change in about 1900, with the
introduction of simple cameras that were really just black boxes
with a lens and film. The advent of these cameras was the first
revolution in photo printing and photography at last this
highly expressive art form was open to the masses.
photo printing was within reach to anyone who could afford to
buy the camera and process the film. Since the cameras only cost
about $1 a lot in those days but still affordable many
people who had never taken a picture before in their life were
snapping pictures like crazy.
The next innovation in photo printing didn't happen until the
1940s with the advent of the "land camera." At first glance,
this camera looked simple but what it could do revolutionized
the way we defined photo printing.
These land cameras could produce a picture on the spot. You
simply took the picture and waited for the print to come out of
the camera. When it did, you just had to let it sit for a minute
or two, and voila, you had photo printing, right then and there!
There were drawbacks, however. The picture's came in a small
size, and if you touched the print too soon, it smudged. The
camera was really just a way to get fast, photo printing into
the marketplace.
Internet revolutionizes photo printing
Not much changed until the Internet boom of the 1990s, but even
then, digital photography was just a few years behind Internet
technology. But when the camera technology caught up, the
combination of digital photography and the world wide web was
unstoppable. In the early 2000s, more and more websites offering
photo printing services cropped up.
Now, you can simply go online, upload your photos to a photo
sharing website, and then have your photos printed and delivered
directly to your door. And the quality is amazing probably
better than what a standard film processor could have ever
offered in the old days.
Of course, since the technology folks are constantly looking
for ways to innovate and make our lives easier, it's a sure bet
that even more methods for photo printing will appear in the
near future.

The writing of United States history books has been dominated
by status quo educators and traditionalist leaning historians.
It seems that thousands of them have written thousands of books
with very little diversity of philosophical perspective and even
less regard for a host of uncomplimentary facts. If someone
should voice the opinion that United States history books read
like a conspiracy of white power mythologists, he or she could
turn to a mountain of evidence for support. No country's history
is as reproachless as traditionalists make that of the United
States of America seem when they write and teach United States
history.
But the perspective of the traditionalist educators is now
being challenged. One book that looks at United States history
from less than a complimentary perspective is Mba Mbulu's An
Introduction to White History: The History of White America.
Unlike many historians of American history, Mba Mbulu
supplements his university studies with years of independent
research, and is able to present a picture of American history
that will be met with such subjective knee jerk reactions when
read by status quo Americans that I feel impelled to write about
it.
Mba Mbulu's An Introduction to White History is a summary of
the concepts, principles and motivating factors that led to the
establishment and expansion of the United States of America.
Since it is usually implied that "American" history is the
history of "superior" white people, this precise title makes it
clear that such is not the case. There are several histories
that make up American history, and the history of white
Americans is only one of them.
What An Introduction to White History brings to the forefront
is the unusually powerful and concentrated role finances and the
profit motive have played in the political and social
development of white America. It is white Americans' unusual
preoccupation with finances and profits that distinguishes them
and their institutions from those of all other Americans. It
behooves all other Americans to not underestimate that unusual
preoccupation when determining the essence of their relations
with white America, and it behooves teachers and other educators
to account for that unusual preoccupation when they teach their
students.
One can acquire a more complete basis for understanding the
underlying principles that guide this writing by reading Chapter
One of Ten Lessons: An Introduction to Black History (also
written by Mba Mbulu).
Traditionalist educators in schools and colleges in the United
States should give more consideration to how nonwhite Americans
view this country. They might not like the contrary perspectives
they are made aware of, but that might create the jolt that
motivates them to be less subjective and better teachers.
Traditionalist educators should expand their field of vision if
their objective is to educate instead of indoctrinate. They
should culture the ability to accept the intellectual equality
and legitimacy of perspectives other than their own. Mba Mbulu's
An Introduction to White History: The History of White America
could be the dose of reality so many of them so sorely need.

In this modern era of mass marketing, we are bombarded by
electronic messages. After awhile, advertising and promotions
all start to sound, feel and look the same. There was a time
when the perfect combination of artistry, imagination and
originality could be found in vintage metal and tin signs. Many
of todays most recognizable brand names got their start as metal
signs.
Products too numerous to mention have been promoted with a
style and wit that today seems all too nostalgic. Vintage tin
and metal signs were produced by the hundreds of thousands from
the mid eighteen hundreds through the advent of television in
the late nineteen forties. Most were painted or screen printed
using enamel paint and many were given a porcelain overcoat to
increase their durability. The irony of all this is that many
vintage metal signs outlived the very companies and products
they were meant to promote.
This is not say that metal signs have completely disappeared
from the landscape. Highways signs, street signs and metal signs
of kinds are still with us, though most serve a more utilitarian
purpose. The golden age of vintage metal signs has been
maintained through reproductions and the zeal of collectors to
preserve a piece of advertising and artistic history.
Aging metal and tin signs that have begun to rust should never
be refinished. Vintage metal signs that are in good condition
are highly prized by collectors. A little rust may devalue the
sign just a bit, but the nostalgic value is priceless. When
buying any type of antique or collectible signs, the well
informed collector must be able to know the difference between
vintage metal signs and reproductions. The rule is always buyer
beware.
Reproductions of famous metal signs can be found almost
everywhere. Even though they are not true antiques, quality
reproductions of metal and tin signs are a great way to accent
the decorating theme of your home or business.
Many companies would provide merchants with durable metal and
tin signs in order to promote their products. Among the most
popular collectible signs are those that have anything to do
with Coca Cola. Coke was able to create their brand by extensive
promotion. From big cities to rural farming communities,
merchants who offered Coke products for sale may have had
several metal signs advertising that fact.
Manufacturers of tractors and other farm equipment produced
metal signs that were often fixtures at general stores, Grange
halls and feed stores all over the country. Companies such as
John Deere, International Harvester and Ford produced many
styles of metal signs. These farm equipment signs are favorites
among collectors of items that reflect classic Americana.
The great outdoors and the sporting life are amply represented
by a number of famous brand names. Metal signs from Winchester,
Remington and other gun producers helped to create these now
famous brand names. Much of the illustrative artwork used for
this genre was produced by some of the best known artists and
illustrators of the day. The combination of beauty nature
illustrations and catchy slogans make metal depicting the
growing market in sporting goods.
No discussion of vintage metal and tin signs is complete
without looking at the automobile industry. The famous slogan
used by the Packard Company, ask the man who owns one, was made
popular in prints ads and was emblazoned on a variety of metal
signs. Other early car manufacturers such as Studebaker, Desoto,
Dodge and Ford produced metal signs that are clearly classics.
Whether advertising or just for decoration, metal and tin signs
have a long history and provide us with a glimpse of the past.

Are you using a good bodybuilding program? Are you sure? Do you
know what makes up a really good, effective bodybuilding
program? Many people believe it is all about just lifting
weights. But it isn't.
The best bodybuilding program is one that includes elements to
develop each part of the body. It will also include diet,
nutrition and overall lifestyle routines. Okay, so how do you
find out if the program you are using, or intending to use, is
the right one for you? Well, you need to take a look at several
things.
First and most important, you need to pay attention to your
current condition. Don't push your body beyond what it is able
to do safely. Champion bodybuilders did not wake up one morning
as a skinny or overweight nerd and decide that today was the day
they were going to be a champion.
They worked up slowly, with hard, steady work. They finally
got there. And yes, lifting weights was big part of a their body
building program, but it was not everything. You want to be sure
that you start small and work your way up so that you don't
injure yourself.
Each person and each body is different but every good body
building program will contain a variety of exercises meant to
work all parts of the body over time. They do not concentrate on
only one muscle group. Your program needs to require effort.
This seems like a given, but many programs overlook this.
If you are not working your muscles to the point of exhaustion,
they just wont grow. Of course, you need to allow recovery time
between workout periods for each muscle group or they wont grow
either. If you overdo it, you will end up slowing your progress
and maybe injuring yourself. So find a program that taxes you
without killing you off.
Proper nutrition cannot be over stressed in any bodybuilding
program. You need to be sure that your diet is providing all of
the nutrients that are needed to make your muscles grow. If your
diet doesn't provide the required nutrients your body in effect
feeds on itself and you never gain muscle mass.
Proteins, carbohydrates and fats are all required. And they
have to be of the correct types in the proper balance. Your
program needs to address this. The best bodybuilding systems
include extensive diet sections.
Rest days are also important in your body building program. It
is during these periods of rest that your muscles draw on the
nutrients and hormones in your body to grow. The only time they
will get that advantage is when you are resting. Muscles grow
when the body is at rest - not when it is working. If you are
hitting the gym for a full body workout everyday, you are never
going to gain the results you want.
Lastly, but certainly not the least important is to chose a
program that recommends substituting supplements, steroids and
artificial hormones for hard work. Bodybuilding is not easy and
there are no shortcuts. But if you work at it you will end up
with muscles that are toned and a body that is truly fit.
About The Author: Gerry Marsh is a successful author and
publisher of several websites including

techniques.

Porn can be a really sticky issue in a relationship. If you are
afraid that your interest or your spouse's interest in porn
could possibly turn into an addiction or cause other problems in
your relationship, there are things you can do that might help.
Here are some great tips to porn proof your relationship:
1. Don't stop trying One thing that can cause a relationship
to grow distant and lead to porn problems is that the couple
stops trying. If you remember the way your relationship was when
you first married or first started dating, you probably remember
that you did a lot of things to impress your spouse. As time
progresses, we stop doing things like this because we become
secure and comfortable within the relationship. When you
continue to do these things for your spouse, things will stay
more interesting and there will be less temptation to turn to
porn.
2. Don't be afraid to experiment While you should certainly
never do something that is going to make you feel uncomfortable,
you shouldn't be afraid to experiment with your sexuality.
Trying new things and tossing things up a bit from time to time
can be a real turn-on for both of you and will keep things
interesting in your relationship. You can explore each other's
fantasies (within reason), you can role play and many other
things that will keep both of you interested in each other and
not a picture of something.
3. Spend time together Try to spend time with your spouse
regularly, as this strengthens bonds and keeps you closer
together. In fact, every once in a while you should take a mini
vacation or a romantic weekend away. Very often, with the busy
lives that we lead today, it can be easy to become distanced
from your spouse. Taking time away to just enjoy each other can
stop the temptation to turn to other things, such as porn.
4. Initiate more often If you are never the one to initiate
sex within your relationship, you should most definitely do so.
Your spouse may feel that you don't find them attractive if you
never act as though you want to be intimate with them. When you
show you are attracted to them and that you want to be intimate
with them, it is a real turn-on and that will keep your spouse
from turning to porn.
5. Compliment your spouse Many people turn to porn because
they are seeking gratification and may feel insecure. If you
make sure to compliment your spouse often, it will alleviate a
lot of their insecurities. This will let them know that you find
them attractive and they will feel less compelled to check out
porn. When they have someone at home who finds them incredibly
sexy, they will not have the need to indulge in fantasies online
or in a magazine.
Following these tips can help you prevent porn from coming into
your relationship. When you take time to care for your
relationship, you can make sure things like this don't become a
concern in your life or in your marriage.

destructive pattern. Visit http://www.recoverfromporn.com today

Reading is an activity that keeps the brain very active. When
we read we create a mental scene, comprehend what the writer is
saying, and form an opinion about what is being said. There are
many different mental processes taking place at once. This means
that the reader actually has to do some work, especially if
English is not their native language. However, for those
learning the English language, reading in English can be very
beneficial when improving English language skills.
Reading English to improve English
When reading English to learn English, many new words are
encountered. If too many new words are encountered, then the
reading level may be too high at that particular moment and a
book written for a lower level may be needed. Once the simpler
book is completed and understood, then a book at a higher level
can be taken on. To make learning less overwhelming, there
should be no more than 5 new words per page in order for the new
words to be easily understood. Having 5 new words at most will
enable the reader to easily learn without the help of a
dictionary and add those words to their vocabulary.
Reading books to learn English allows the reader to see English
that is structured correctly, which will enable better
communication through writing. It can be a little more difficult
when speaking since speaking requires immediate retrieval.
However, when writing, the writer can put thought into what they
are trying to say before they write it on paper. In other words,
they can go their own pace which rings true of the reading
aspect as well. The reader can repeatedly read a sentence to get
the meaning of a word or re-read an entire page if they need to.
How to get the most out of reading
There are several tips for those who are doing a lot of reading
in order to learn English. These tips are:
To ensure that reading is occurring at the right level.
Reading at the wrong level can be very discouraging and damage
the learning process. Stopping every three words and having to
utilize a dictionary is the perfect recipe for discouragement.
Writing down new vocabulary words can be extremely helpful.
Better yet, create a notebook to write down new words, writing
the new words down after the page or section is finished will
prove more helpful. This way, the meaning of the words can be
guessed. Marking them with a pen can make them easily
identifiable when searching for them to write them down.
Reading needs to be done every single day for about fifteen
minutes either before bedtime, in the mornings, or during
lunchtime.
Be sure to have certain materials available for use: These
items include reading material, a dictionary, a highlighter, a
pen, and a notebook.
The chosen book needs to be something that interests the
reader because interesting subjects encourage reading. When
reading is encouraged, the ability to learn English is enhanced
substantially.
Just as speaking, listening, and writing a new language is
important, reading it is equally important when learning the
structure of sentences to enhance speaking, writing, and
vocabulary. Without using books as a useful tool in learning
English, communication can become very difficult in a country
where English is the resident language.

Panic Attacks can be very scary. I know because I use to have
them. It was about thirty years ago and I was running an
Electronics Business. If you have ever been in business for
yourself, you know there is always something to worry about. I
thought this worry was what was bringing on my Anxiety Attacks.
I didn't know for sure, I just thought that was what it was. I
tried very hard not to worry. But the harder I tried not to the
more I worried.
On about six or seven occasions, I woke up in the middle of the
night in a cold sweat and just could not stay in bed. I had to
get up and move. I thought I was dying and my blood pressure
would be out of sight. My wife would rush me to the Emergency
Room. Even in the Emergency Room, I could not sit still. I would
just have to get up and more. Just move anywhere except where I
was. Once they took me in and gave me medication I would
gradually get back to normal.
I talked to my doctor and other people, but no one seemed to
know what to do. After about my six or seventh trip to the
Emergency Room, I knew I had to do something. I went to a
Gastroenterologist, not so much for the Panic Attacks as for
some trouble I was having with my digestion.
After talking with him for a while he hit on what I had been
trying to tell people, but didn't know how to explain it. He
said you sometimes have a feeling of "doom". That was exactly
the way I had felt. I was doomed to death and there was nothing
I could do about it.
He sent me for x-rays and found that I had gall stones. I was
scheduled for gallbladder surgery and never had another Panic
Attack after that. He explained that the attacks were due to
some chemical imbalance caused by the gallbladder not
functioning properly.
On another note, I use to work with a very young guy, in his
twenties. We worked in Security for a very well know Casino.
This young fellow had lived a very sheltered life and had not
had a lot of responsibility before. He was very afraid that he
would do something wrong and let a minor enter the building or
something of that nature. He was actually terrified that he
would get reprimanded for something he had done wrong.
This caused him to have Panic Attacks at work. We had to call
911 on several occasions to come and take him to the hospital
for Anxiety or Panic Attacks.
He finally left that job and went to work for his cousin in the
construction business and his mother told me that he never had
another attack. It was just the stress of the job that he was in
that was causing all his problems and when he changed jobs the
problems went away.

In our quest for the perfect job, career or even our first job
out of college many people turn to the internet as a source of
self marketing, and promotions, job finder service and
networking tool. Hundreds of thousands use employment search
programs such as Careerbuilder.com; Monster.com and Yahoo
HotJobs.
Resumes are posted everywhere on the internet. Most every
university, business, company or personal website (for those
looking for employment) provides a resume, or some form of
contact, background, employment, or educational information.
University professors post their curriculum vita. Businesses
and medical professionals post their employment and educational
information online to advertise their qualifications. But how
safe is this information?
Privacy advocates, Better Business Bureaus and Employment
professionals, as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigations
have identified online fraud as one of the most common sources
of identity theft. Identity thieves and prospective employers
alike can use your information. Which one do you want to have
it?
Here are a few examples of those who didn't think identity
theft could happen to them by posting their resume online:
"Jim" responded to an email request from an individual
identifying himself as interested in Jim as a potential employee
at a leading corporation in his field of expertise. Additional
information was required of him, he was told, so that they could
quickly perform a background check before going through the time
and expense of further interviews. After responding with all the
information that the "company" requested he followed up with a
phone call to discover that the number he was given had been
disconnected. He contacted the company through their toll free
number and after some discussion with the human resource
department discovered he had been a victim of a scam.
Three companies contacted "Candace" with request for more
information for jobs that appeared to be too good to be true.
Suspicious of so much good fortune she did more research and
found that the information and techniques used to gather
additional information from her were common methods used for
identity theft.
NBA Star Steve Smith and movie star Will Smith were victims of
the same identity theft criminal.
An online resume is a ticket to the lotto and in some cases
it's straight to the bank to cash that winning lotto check.
Resumes provide identity thieves with personal information such
as: name, address, telephone number, date of birth, schools
attending and when, as well as references and their contact
information. Some resumes even include height and weight.
The use of technology by both potentional employees and
employers is a common practice. With all the information out
there, with all the competition in the job market how do you
market and keep your information safe?
Do the following:
Rewrite your resume using a functional format
Include a work location
Include education and work experience in general terms.
Create an anonymous job search email address, which does not
use your name.
Use your cell phone number or even purchase a prepaid cell
phone system while you are conducting your job search.
Your research; make sure you know which online job sites are
legitimate and safe.
Get it in writing: print out the licensing and privacy
agreement, before agreeing to it and posting your resume.
Professionally explain that additional information is available
upon completion of an interview or at another appropriate time
after face to face contact.
Do not:
Include your address.
Include dates of employment or graduation
"Copy and paste" your regular resume into a comments section of
an application or online service.
Provide references and references contact information; you may
be putting them at risk for identity theft.
Include: SSN, date of birth, home telephone number or personal
email address.
Release your social security number, mother's maiden name or
any other information when approached by a "contact."
.
Use the technology for you, not against you. Install spyware
and anti virus programs and use them. Report inappropriate
contacts or requests to the job search site via email or a
contact us from. Reset your cookies on your personal computer
decreasing opportunities for spyware, adware, or malware to
access your computer.
Keep track of your information, when and where it was
submitted. It will help you not only "weed" out inappropriate
contacts but also assist you in professionally presenting
yourself to prospective employers.
Make your job or career efforts successful ones by protecting
your information, presenting yourself cordially and
professionally, and being knowledgeable about your field and the
world. By using the tips offered, you may not only get that
dream job, but you may also be able to keep your credit safe
allowing you to enjoy all the money you will be making.

================== ARTICLE START ============ ======
I have always been a very organized personon the outside. On
the inside is an entirely different story. I am, at best,
"scattered". My mind, my thoughts, my emotions are constantly
all over the place. By the time I have caught up with one
thought, I have many more waiting in line to process. I might be
said to suffer from "chronic information overload".
The challenge has always been to take the disorganized mess on
the inside and present it to the outside world in a manner that
will make sense. Computers have made this process easier because
of software programs designed to help organize endless stacks of
random information. About 10 years ago now, I started learning
how to program in order to write my own custom software
solutions to deal with the various forms of information floating
around in my head. I have written some software to deal with
this, and am continuing to write and test more applications
built around this need.
I'm not writing this to talk about software though. The purpose
of this article is to talk about the method to the madness. I'm
going to attempt to bring a sense of order to the mess; to give
you a couple of tools that will set your thinking free, and let
your mind rest.
Let Random Be Random
The first step to "thinking in blocks" is to simply let random
thoughts stay random. Learn to enjoy and appreciate every idea,
every morsel of thought that crosses your mind. Sometimes you'll
think good things, sometimes you'll think horrible, scary
things. Each thought, each piece of the infinite puzzle, is a
precious and valuable part of "you". I spent a great deal of my
life trying to "not be so scatter-brained". I have finally
realized that being "scatter-brained" is indeed a gift, and is
something that I can learn to both appreciate and use. Is your
mind all over the place? Let it be. Sometimes one activity will
make more sense to you, sometimes another. For months you might
lean more towards one interest, and then shift entirely to
something else. Fine. Great. Perfect. It's a great way to be.
Enjoy the variety and the change of scenery, and don't stress
about it if you lose a bit of the mess here and there. It's
usually still there anyways, and worrying about losing it isn't
going to help you hang on to the rest of those random ingenious
ideas you have floating around in your head.
The Part, Not The Whole
The second thing that we have to do to apply "thinking in
blocks" is to realize that getting the "big picture" doesn't
necessarily mean capturing every morsel of thought all at once.
If you try to get a handle on everything at once, you will
likely stress yourself out, and maybe even give yourself a
headache. Instead, I have found that the more focused I am, the
less overwhelming everything seems to be. Seeing the "big
picture" isn't so much having "grand vision" as it is being able
to see each piece of the puzzle in focus--one piece at a time.
Sometimes we get caught up in the "whole", while the only thing
necessary is to focus on the "part" that is before us currently.
Right now, this moment, this screen, this word... bringing one
thing into focus, in the end, is often far more beneficial than
seeing the whole picture in a blur.
The second step then, to thinking in blocks, is to pick a
partany part, and focus on that. Focus on it for as long or as
short of a time as you need to. Analyze it. Pick it apart. Do
what you need to do, for whatever time you have. Even taking a
few minutes each day and applying this idea can yield amazing
results in your creativity, not to mention every other area of
your life.
Putting The Puzzle Together
Once you start to get an idea of what each piece of the puzzle
looks like, you can then start to put pieces together as you
come across ones that fit. The more pieces you find that fit
together, the easier it will be to find a home for the other
loose pieces floating about. The biggest difference between this
puzzle and any other puzzle that you'll ever put together, is
that YOU are the one who decides what fits and what doesn't, and
YOU are the one who ultimately decides what your picture will
look like in the end. You are not limited by the picture on the
box.
One of my 2 1/2 year old son's favorite things to do is to play
blocks. He has these little blocks made of clear plastic, with
all sorts of objects and creatures on the inside. Each block has
it's own unique characteristics, and works quite well as a
stand-alone toy for any two-year-old. As we put the blocks
together, they start to tell another story (usually a "tower" or
a "fence" if my son is the one doing the building). The thing to
remember in this third stage of thinking in blocks, is that
while each block, each thought, each piece of the puzzle has
it's own story to tell, the collection of blocks (or a portion
of it) can be shaped and molded, arranged and organized in such
a way that it tells an entirely new story.
In writing, the job of the author at this stage is just to
relax and tell the story. Don't get caught up too much in
details... just let each piece speak for itself, and let your
pen and your heart determine what the picture will look like in
the end.

A wise real estate agent will wait to show buyers the property
until they are pre-qualified, when attempting to make real
estate sales. Every "for sale by owner" seller has no choice
but to pre-qualify their buyers before they begin to consider
signing a sales contract. It is a terrible idea to sign a
contract with an unqualified buyer. If a buyer is unable to
attain a mortgage that is large enough to buy your home, he will
tie up the contract and prevent you from locating another buyer.
If this term sounds unfamiliar, a pre-approved buyer is a buyer
who had a lending institution approve them for a loan for a
%specific% dollar amount. A buyer who has an unconfirmed
estimate of the specific dollar amount that he is able to borrow
from a lending institution is called a pre-qualified buyer.
Your objective is to get the perfect buyer who is able to attain
a loan that can grant him the ability to purchase your home.
Anyone who wishes to pre-qualify a buyer will have to perform
this task on their own. You are responsible for arranging a
meeting with a potential buyer during which you will request
basic but personal information. Both the long-standing debt and
the salary of the buyer will need to be known by you. Asking
this kind of personal information from a total stranger or even
a neighbor may make you feel uneasy, but you don't need to be.
Every buyer will be aware that they will have to answer
questions of this nature if they are willing to complete real
estate sales.
In order for you to do the calculations by hand, a
pre-qualifying worksheet is mandatory. As soon as all the
buyer's information has been recorded regarding monthly
long-standing payments and salary, the time has come to attain
an estimation of the maximum dollar amount that the buyer will
be able to borrow.
A method that is significantly simpler is asking the buyer to
go to a %trustworthy% web site that specializes in calculating
the estimated maximum dollar amount that they will be offered by
the lending institution.
Yearly salary, monthly long-term debt, and the national average
of cost of living are all factors that determine this
estimation. The utmost dollar amount the buyer can pay for your
home will be the sum of the estimated mortgage loan and the
buyer's down payment.
Although it is a hard task, it is imperative that you find the
right buyer for your real estate sales. It is a substantial
waste of time to give all of your attention to an interested
buyer who is unable to attain the loan required to complete the
transaction. Everyone is on even terms when you first meet with
a future buyer. As soon as a potential buyer expresses
excitement in purchasing your home, you want to pre-qualify
them. Everyone will be relaxed once the buyer is qualified, and
you can move on to the more serious business of purchasing your
home.

Any number of cordless picture lighting fixtures may be
employed to highlight the quality of photography, prints, and
oil paintings. The actual type of cordless picture light you
select really depends on the nature and price point of the art.
It is also a matter of budget, as some fixtures for picture
lighting require an electrical contractor for installation, and
other devices represent museum-quality lighting effects reserved
for rare and exquisite masterpieces.
Before making an investment, it is necessary to obtain a sound
understanding of how the different types of picture lights
operate and what specific advantages they offer the home and
commercial decorator. This simplifies shopping for the end
user, who is simply looking to find the best equipment for his
or her dollar. This also adds value to the professional
installer or artwork lighting expert, who can take a
consultative approach to sales and offer clients multiple
options and choices rather than hard absolutes and fixed price
points.
Cordless picture lights of any variety offer more placement
options. Because they are either battery operated or install in
the ceiling, there is no wiring to conceal. There are also
literally thousands of different cordless picture lights to
choose from, a good number of which are very affordable and
ideal for smaller households on a budget. These fixture types
include battery powered over the picture lights, recessed
lights, projectors, and even certain types of strip lights.
These fixtures work well for illuminating prints and
photographs when high performance is not an issue. Battery
powered lights are very popular for people living in small town
homes and apartments. They are relatively inexpensive and do
not require a technician to install. Almost every major
manufacturer such as RiteLite and House of Troy distributes a
full array of battery-powered lights in innumerable sizes and
finishes to match interior design, genre, and home color
schemes.
Battery powered cordless units are ideal for lighting any type
of print or photograph housed in non glare glass panel frame.
They are also ideal for smaller pictures and fit conveniently
over the top of the frame, becoming almost a part of the picture
themselves.
The only drawback to these lights is infrared light and
ultraviolet light can damage certain forms of art. As a general
rule, avoid using them over watercolors, acrylics, and oils that
are sensitive to heat.
Another avenue you might want to consider taking is lighting
your pictures with recessed ceiling lights. Recessed picture
lights are categorized as cordless picture lights because they
wire directly into the home or office electrical system as
opposed to operating from a power outlet or a battery.
These fixtures require installation by a professional
electrician, and they also involve cutting into ceilings.
If this is affordable and acceptable to you, then recessed
picture lights are an ideal source of illumination for larger
works of art that require a special spotlight. Multiple
recessed lights or track lighting fixtures can be used to light
entire collections of prints, photographs, or paintings along an
entire wall.
Recessed picture lights can either be low voltage or high
voltage, depending on your budget for power costs and the need
for lighting intensity. They can also be controlled with dimmer
switches that allow for precision adjustment of lighting levels.
Low voltage recessed lights tend to feature pinhole apertures
that produce minimal glare. They work very well for any
collection where glass panes cover the artwork.
Incandescent bulbs produce a white light that is ideal for
illuminating black and white photography. For color
photographs, halogen low voltage lighting produces a low
wattage, high intensity light with superior color rendering
capabilities.
Normally, a art lighting company licensed to install recessed
lighting also consults with either a lighting design company or
certifies its electricians in lighting design. If you have
questions about which lights will work best with your
collection, your installers should be able to give you sound,
professional recommendations on the best fixtures to use.
Comparative online searches on the term, "cordless picture
lighting" will immediately return a plethora of results focused
on achieving optimal effects in fine art lighting.
When it comes to lighting anything on canvas, it becomes
necessary to consider higher price points and more sophisticated
technology than battery powered and recessed cordless picture
lighting fixtures normally feature.
The primary challenge to fine art lighting lies in the absolute
necessity to eradicate all ultraviolet light and infrared
radiation. UV rays will degrade both paint and canvas and
literally ruin a masterpiece.
To ensure the integrity of your art, and to give an original
piece the proper spotlight it deserves, consider the benefits of
recessed projector lighting with a ceiling-mounted, art
projector like the Phantom Contour Projector.
Contour projectors utilize a complex system of lenses and
filters to strip the light beam of harmful wavelengths. Like
recessed lights, they install above the line of sight into the
ceiling of a room. Phantom has both invasive and non-invasive
models available, so if your art is housed in a location where
cutting the ceiling is not an option, we have surface mounted
projectors that can be installed with no damage to the interior
whatsoever.
Perhaps the most innovative way for lighting small pictures
with cordless fixtures, and a method some may have not
considered, is to house them in standing frames within display
cases and use linear strip lights to illuminate them alongside
of curios, sentimental objects, and antiques.
Linear lighting strips fit directly onto display cabinet
shelves and use existing metal shelf standards instead of
traditional wiring to conduct electricity. Their low profile
position makes them almost impossible for the casual viewer to
see, and they can be fitted with incandescent, xenon, and LED
bulbs to accommodate any level of lighting and special effects
your artwork requires.
These cordless picture lighting strips are also dimmable, so
you can accrue additional savings on power costs by turning the
lighting levels down when visitors are either absent or asleep.
An extensive network of Phantom Lighting Agents works
throughout North, Central, and South America to answer
questions, customize orders, and offer technical support to
professional designers and individual lighting enthusiasts.
About The Author: Phantom Lighting manufactures proprietary art
lighting projectors and linear display and under cabinet
lighting fixtures. For more information visit

After you buy your car, but before you run out and sign up for
car insurance, it is a good idea to learn how car insurance
works. Knowing how the insurance works is the best way to make
sure that you get the car insurance that is right for you. After
all, you don't want to pay too much for a bunch of things you
might not need, right?
There are a variety of different coverages that are involved in
insuring your car: liability, collision, comprehensive, medical
coverage, personal injury protection, uninsured motorist, under
insured motorist and rental reimbursement.
Different states have different requirements, so make sure that
you know which types of coverage are required by your state.
Most states require at least liability coverage, but it varies
from there. Often, insurance companies will combine a lot of
these different kinds of coverage.
It is also important to note that it might not be the best idea
to go with the minimum insurance required by your state. You
never know what might happen on the road and the last thing you
want is to end up with hundreds of thousands of dollars in bills
because you skimped on your auto insurance. This isn't to say
that you should buy tornado insurance in Hawaii, but think about
what you might encounter on the road, and what you want to have
covered.
For example, if you are in an accident and cannot drive your
car, would you like to have a rental car provided by your
insurance company? Do you want extra warranties for labor and
parts in the event that your car breaks down? If you have leased
your vehicle, you will want to invest in gap insurance. This is
insurance that will pay the difference between what you still
owe on the lease and what your car insurance covers in the event
that the car gets totaled.
Think about the car you just bought. If it got completely
totaled, could you afford to get it replaced? If you can't, you
will probably want to get collision and comprehensive coverage
in your car insurance. Depending on how much your car is worth,
it might even be worth the extra money to make sure that your
car gets replaced in the event of a serious accident.
You should also look at your health insurance and homeowners
insurance to see what kinds of coverage include damages
involving a vehicle. Sometimes you will already be covered for
something that you might have been tempted to add to your car
insurance.
The best way to decide what kind of car insurance to get is to
look at what kind of car you have, your budget and your
environment. You will obviously want to have more inclusive
insurance if you live in a crowded area where thefts and
accidents are common. You might be able to get away with less if
you have a less expensive car or you live in a low crime, low
accident part of the country.

================== ARTICLE START ============ ======
What did you think when you read the title of this article? Be
honest. Did you assume it was meant for procrastinators? For
those who haven't made a resolution for 2008 and want to catch
up? Or did you figure it was simply a way to catch the eye of
the curious?
They're all true, but the most important audience for the title
is this group: people who have made a resolution, or created a
goal, and are now finding that they can't quite make it both
realistic and concrete, by which I mean "real in the world."
What makes a New Year's resolution or goal fail rather than
succeed?
Sometimes it's too general:
"I want 2008 to be a great year for me," for example. By March,
or even sooner, you find you're not making anything happen
because you haven't specified what "great" means.
Sometimes it's too specific:
"I will raise my earnings by $7,000 this year." Not a bad
start. But why $7000? If there's a reason that will motivate
you, express it. If it's a number you picked out of the blue,
perhaps you can motivate yourself better with a range.
If you said "I will raise my earnings by $5000-10,000" this
year, you did two motivating things. You've given yourself the
goal of a smaller and perhaps easier sum to acquire ($5000) and
at the same time, you've served yourself a taster possibility
that makes your eyes light up--$10,000." (You'll want to adjust
the figures to fit your lifestyle, but this is the general
principle.) You've given yourself two potential ways to win.
But let's look further at the goal.
We've made a good statement, hopefully one that's "juicy,' and
makes our eyes light up. And we might be willing to stop there
and let the universe take over.
I have no objection to that philosophy if it has a history of
working for you.
But for most of us, it's a good start but not quite enough. My
mind-coaching clients often remark that doing something while
holding the intention in their minds and hearts is most
empowering.
Somehow the doing helps clarify and empower the intending. If
we allow the granting of the goal to come either from our work
OR from unexpected machinations of the universe,
we've given ourselves several chances to "win." It's likely
they'll work in tandem to make it happen.
Here's an example.
A friend wanted an extra $10,000 to redecorate her home. She
took a second job to get it. In the meantime, a relative died
and left her $12,000. Coincidence? Empowered intention? We can't
know for sure, but certainly something here is working.
As an interesting side note, she kept that second job (but
worked fewer hours) simply because she liked it.
So what about the February resolution? Where does it come from
and what is its power to make a difference in your life?
It could be your January resolution thought out and clarified.
In other words, a new resolution that includes the original. For
example, if the original resolution "I'm going to get a new job
this year" were opened up and explored, you might end up with
"I'm going to become certified in ______, make contacts in the
field, and get myself a position that makes me want to jump out
of bed in the morning."
Notice how the jumping out of bed conveys the attitude you want
to have about the job, how life would be for you, and is
something you can imagine feeling. Knowing exactly how you want
to feel can later help you choose one job offer over another.
"I'm going to lose 40 pounds in the next six months" may become
"I'm setting up a combination of how I think, move my body and
eat that will guide me toward weighing 40 fewer pounds six
months from now."
Your February resolution could also be the January resolution
with the kinks worked out. One client's original resolution was
to feel more peaceful at work. A client I'll call Jennifer
enrolled herself in yoga and gave up excessive caffeine. Those
changes put a dent in her stress level, but it was not enough.
There was obviously something missing.
So "Jennifer" asked herself where the rest of the stress was
coming from. The answer? Relationships. Her February resolution
was to repair her relationships at work that were broken, and
create new and nurturing ones.
Within a month, almost everything in her life got better during
the hours between 9 and 5. Soon the diminished stress and anger
of the workday made her a calmer, more pleasant person at home,
and her home life underwent an even greater positive shift.
That's the power of a February resolution created from a
refurbished New Year's resolution. But sometimes it works
another way.
"Dave" declared that his resolution was to date an exciting
woman. He signed up on Internet dating sites and started
frequenting singles events, but he felt like was meeting the
same people again and again.
When that New Year's resolution didn't quite do the job, he
thought about it some more. He decided to become the person he
wanted to spend his time withinstead of searching for a woman
to fill that position. What he did was change his resolution
from putting an exciting person into his life to becoming that
exciting person in his life.
Everyone has his own idea of what exciting is. For Dave it was
traveling, being a good-to-great skier and becoming more
involved with people. Dave already traveled quite a bit, so he
began by making a list of all he places he had dreamed of
visiting but never got to.
He chose China, and booked himself on a tour that involved lots
of physical activity, great food, and educated people. Not only
did this become the beginning of a life of travel, but he met
his lifelong travel partner. By the way Dave insists that even
without the fairytale ending, it would have been an amazing
trip.
My take is that when Dave created one specific goal that
excited him and that he could imagine with all his senses, he
got what he dreamed ofand more. Being on that trip, he
unleashed the exploratory, excited, curious and open part of
himself that hadn't come out since his college years.
And it was that part, once exposed, that attracted "Donna."
So what was that New Year's resolution you made and how can you
stir it up allow it to inspire you?

Pitfalls in Parenting and How to Overcome Them

Pitfalls in Parenting and How to Overcome Them
Previous generations where raised under the premise that children
are to be seen and not heard. If they altered in teaching, the
next generation was heard. But, their words were not taken
seriously; as adults always think they know more than children
do.
Following generations often have few to no guidelines, wherein
children's behavior screams for someone to care enough to say,
"No."
Though, what if God did that to us? When we call out to Him, can
you imagine God responding with, "I can't hear you"? When we cry,
what if He mocked our words, "Cry my hands full. You're nothing
but a big baby"? Or, we could be given blame for all that ails
us, "All he does is wine", or even worse, "Come here and I'll
give you something to cry about!"
What if God did not care more about you than the comfort of the
moment, "Sure, do whatever you want. I just want you to like me."
Try some of that on church visitation and see how effective you
are. But, instead, God takes great care in parenting, to do it
right. He looks deeper, to meet the need of the heart.
Why should God listen to our prayers when we do not listen to our
children?
Doesn't God love us enough to say, "No", when it will hurt us or
someone else?
Still worse were the teachings of "spare the rod, spoil the
child". During the days of preaching 'hell, fire, and brimstone',
parents showed children what they thought God was like; drawing
blood, in the name of the Lord. What happened to "thy rod and thy
staff they comfort me"?
Is it any wonder adults think they can not come to God?
Once children 'know' they have a consistent place of refuge they
can depend upon, in time of need, many annoying traits of
childhood disappear.
Few come to realize children are living souls first and children
second. Taking God as a perfect example, we are to be spiritual
parents. Only when children become willfully defiant, for
non-need reasons, do we have the right to act in disciplinary
fashions and, still then, with God's guidance.
If God offered us grace, then, why do we hold children
accountable under our law (or His), without consideration of
extenuating circumstances? When we accuse and punish children,
without considering their heart or getting facts straight, we
could be shedding innocent blood.
Children are an heritage of the LORD. They are not possessions,
but a gift to raise for Him. The fruit of the womb is HIS reward.
Psalm 27:3
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the
tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his
fruit. Matthew 12:33 The relationship children have with parents
will affect their relationship with God. For, however we perceive
earthly parents is how we perceive God.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And
in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess
unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work
iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23
As is with everything, the only way to parent perfectly is to ask
God every time; letting Him be our parent. Not every one that
saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of
heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in
heaven. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and
doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his
house upon a rock. Matthew 7:21, 24.
If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort
of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and
mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same
love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done
through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each
esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his
own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this
mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:1-5
In every way God loves us, we are to love others in return and
that includes our children; grace for grace (John 1:16). It is
our opportunity to thank Jesus for loving us.
In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence:
and his children shall have a place of refuge.
Proverbs 14:26

Vintage costume jewelry is a hot collectible in today's antique
market and can literally be worth several hundred times their
original purchase price. The very first true costume jewelry
appeared on theatres throughout Europe before being brought back
to the States by American G.I.'s returning home from World War
I. American manufacturers began dominating the industry from the
1920's onward. Many American companies like Coro and Eisenberg
produced some of the most coveted collectibles on the vintage
jewelry market today so keep an eye out for signed pieces as the
flea markets.
But what truly makes costume jewelry unique and potentially
valuable? Vintage costume necklaces, bracelets, and other pieces
were purchased by American soldiers in French boutiques and
brought home after the first world war. U.S. companies began
dominating costume jewelry design and manufacturing from the
late 1920's onward. Trifari, Coro, and dozens of American
manufacturers soon began producing the designs and pieces that
are some of the most prized collectibles on the vintage market
today. If you know what you are looking for and can distinguish
the worthless knock-offs from the genuine Eisenberg necklaces
and other top pieces, then you can literally make a great
living--while having fun in the process! Ultimately, the value
of any piece is determined by: Supply; Demand; Design;
Materials; and Condition.
The supply of vintage pieces is not evenly distributed which is
a large reason why there is so much diversity in pricing. The
jewelry was produced in batches of varying size by dozens and
dozens of different manufacturers. Larger companies like Coro
and Trifari would commonly produce thousands of pieces of each
design. DeMario, McClelland, and other small companies might
only have batch sizes numbering in the hundreds. When other
pricing variables are held constant, signed pieces from the
small companies tend to be worth more money. But be careful,
some of the larger companies produced special batches in limited
quantities making them more valuable than typical pieces from
the same company.
But rarity alone does not determine value and demand is always
the largest factor affecting price. Simple economics dictates
that higher demand will command a higher price. For anyone
looking for the hot items right now, signed Miriam Haskell
vintage jewelry is the best bet despite being a bit eccentric in
design. Potential investors need to do a little homework on the
Internet to find which designs are hot and which are not in
order to identify the best pieces to buy. It doesn't matter
whether you like the popular designs or not--just remember that
they will make you more money!
So why do people like some pieces but not others? The design of
the piece itself plays a large role in the demand for the piece
and thus also has a big affect upon value. Seasoned investors
sometimes avoid collecting the signed vintage pieces because
everyone is already looking for them. Instead, they will focus
on unsigned but well-designed pieces because they tend to be
more profitable than many of the signed necklaces, brooches,
etc. A large portion of the entire vintage costume stock is
unsigned despite having been made by some of the most respected
companies in the industry. Identifying great designs is one of
the surest ways to identify unsigned pieces and make vintage
jewelry collecting profitable. Pieces of exceptional design
quality, like those made by companies like Boucher and B. David,
tend to be both unsigned and more valuable than many of the
signed pieces on the market.
The overall design is accentuated by the quality of
craftsmanship and materials used to produce each piece. The
gemstones are typically the most relevant materials when it
comes to the value of a particular piece of jewelry. There were
some companies that were famous for using gemstones of
exceptional quality though none of them would be considered
precious. Jewelry designs by Bogoff, Weiss, and Eisenberg tend
to be high value collectibles primarily because of their
exceptionally high quality.
Without question, Eisenberg costume jewelry is renown for being
of exceptional quality and design. This makes it very hard for
collectors to buy and sell it for a profit. If you are trying to
find some profitable pieces to purchase at cheap prices but
still command a lot with serious investors, look for jewelry
made by these companies:
Danecraft
Kramer
Bogoff
Weiss
Monet
Ultimately, the overall value of any piece of costume or fine
jewelry is assessed based upon its current condition. It is
quite common to find excess scratches, lost stones, rust, and
other forms of discoloration on vintage costume jewelry pieces.
But while some degree of wear is expected, it is not the only
factor that determines price. But if you know how to locate the
unsigned gems hiding in flea markets and online auctions every
day, then you can really make a bundle collecting vintage
costume pieces--even those with excessive signs of wear!

Authentic costume jewelry actually originated on the stages and
theatres in Europe before becoming popular in the U.S. Shortly
after the popularity exploded during the 1920's, American
companies began setting up shop and soon dominating the
industry. These same companies produced some of the most coveted
collectible vintage costume necklaces, bracelets, rings, and
other jewelry. Some popular American manufacturers to keep an
eye out for at the flea markets include:
Coro
Eisenberg
Weiss
Trifari
Barclay
But what truly makes costume jewelry unique and potentially
valuable? The very first true costume jewelry appeared on
theatres throughout Europe before being brought back to the
States by American G.I.'s returning home from World War I.
American manufacturers began dominating the industry from the
1920's onward. Signed vintage costume necklaces, rings, and
other pieces are worth more money. Some popular American
companies known to produce high quality and highly collectible
pieces include:
Trifari
Eisenberg
Art
Carnegie
Coventry
If you know what you are looking for and can distinguish the
worthless knock-offs from the genuine Eisenberg necklaces and
other top pieces, then you can literally make a great
living--while having fun in the process! Value is determined by:
Rarity of Piece
Demand
Design
Quality of Construction and Materials
Current Condition
The supply of vintage jewelry varies greatly and this affects
pricing in a big way. The jewelry itself was supplied by dozens
of manufacturers. Batch sizes could vary dramatically from one
company to the next. Larger companies like Coro and Trifari
would commonly produce thousands of pieces of each design.
Barclays, DeMario, and many of the smaller companies had limited
facilities and thus tended to have far smaller batches. Because
signed or stamped pieces from the smaller companies like
McClelland are rarer, they tend to sell for more than similar
pieces from the larger manufacturers like Coro. But, the other
four factors will also affect price but supply is definitely a
big factor in the equation. Yet even large manufacturers
conjured up a small specialty batch for holidays and other
special occasions. In most cases, the specialty pieces will be
of higher value than others produced by the very same outfit.
A piece of jewelry can be rare but command little demand for
some reason or another which will greatly affect value. While
you can't give away pieces people don't want, those in demand
can command several times their original purchase price. Despite
having some rather odd designs, signed Miriam Haskel jewelry is
in high demand right now. Potential investors need to do a
little homework on the Internet to find which designs are hot
and which are not in order to identify the best pieces to buy.
It doesn't matter whether you like the popular designs or
not--just remember that they will make you more money!
But what actually affects market demand? Without question, the
design itself is one of the biggest factors that affect the
demand for any piece of jewelry, costume or otherwise. While
novice investors tend to focus exclusively on the signed vintage
costume pieces, the unsigned one featuring unique and compelling
designs are often the most profitable to collect. Collecting
vintage costume jewelry for profit is complicated by the fact
that most of the pieces are actually unsigned. Simply knowing
what makes a great design great can actually help you identify
the unsigned pieces and optimize profits. Unsigned pieces by
companies like Bergere and B. David are highly prized by
collectors and can be identified by their distinctive but high
quality designs.
The quality of construction and materials used to make a piece
of jewelry ultimately vindicate or condemn any design. The
gemstones are typically the most relevant materials when it
comes to the value of a particular piece of jewelry. There were
some companies that were famous for using gemstones of
exceptional quality though none of them would be considered
precious. Bogoff, Eisenberg, and Weiss are all great investments
because they almost always had great designs made with high
quality stones.
Excessive
signs of wear, lost stones, and discoloration are all factors
that can lower the value of a vintage necklace, ring, brooch, or
any piece of jewelry. But while some degree of wear is expected,
it is not the only factor that determines price. Collectors who
do their homework can still make a tidy profit off of damaged or
excessively worn pieces by knowing how to spot the hidden gems.

A clean bicycle will be a well tuned bicycle and will serve you
much better than a greasy, grimy bike that you rarely have time
to wash. Everything on your bike is open and easily attacked by
dirt and grime and if you do not regularly clean it off, you
risk not only losing performance, but endangering yourself with
shoddily performing parts.
Cleaning Chains
The most complex and actively moving part on your bicycle is
its chain. It is here you should devote the most attention
regularly, cleaning every time you go out. There are options to
buy expensive, all-in-one chain cleaners, but you rarely need
those if you have a good cleaning routine already in place.
First, make sure you have a chain that is easily removed for
cleaning a Wippermann or Sachs preferably. The Wippermann in
particular is stainless steel, immune to the effects of rust and
corrosion. You still need to clean it regularly, but it will not
succumb quite as easily to small problems that other chains
might.
After removing the chain, place it in a tub and cover it in
self cleaning lubricant. Use a basic degreaser if the chain is
especially dirty and scrub it clean. You should do this every
time your chain or bicycle gets wet or dusty.
Cleaning Cassettes
Place degreaser on a toothbrush and clean these thoroughly with
the brush. Get inside every little crevice you can find.
However, do not spray the cassette directly as it will get the
degreaser into the bearings and remove the grease that you
actually want to be there. Afterwards, rinse lightly and let it
dry.
Cleaning Wheels
Use some luke warm water, a sponge and plain old dishwashing
detergent to clean your wheels. Sponge off the tires, rims and
spokes while being careful not to get the detergent into the
bearings. Rinse it carefully and dry the wheels off manually
with a towel.
Cleaning Chain rings
First, take the chain rings off of the crank this might
require a special tool and place them in a tub or sink. Cover
them with degreaser and brush them thoroughly. Rinse them
afterwards and give them time to drip dry and then take a towel
lightly to them to finish the job.
Cleaning the Frame
You will need a lot of additional help for the frame cleaning.
Don't take a pressure washer to your frame because it looks easy
you will only get stuck replacing shocks or other parts
because of it. Clean the frame carefully and by hand and look
for any other indications that you might need to clean other
parts of the bike such as the pulleys.
Finishing Up
When you are finished, check over every part for any signs of
wear or damage, including chipped paint, dings or cracking. Now,
lubricate your bike thoroughly with the right viscosity of
lubricant for each moving part and ensure everything is well
placed and put back together properly.
If you regularly wash and lubricate your bicycle, it will run
like a brand new machine every time you take it out of your
garage. Make sure you follow the right steps provided for your
specific bicycle in its manual and that you take it to a
professional shop if any major work needs to be done.

================== ARTICLE START ============ ======
The Audi TT brand has been in production since 1999, but the
second model has just been in production for about 2 years now.
The Second Generation TT is strongly based on the Volkswagen A5
platform, and has two classes, which consist of a roadster car
model and a luxury sport. The original plans for the Audi TT
Second Generation were revealed in 2004, then it was first
showcased to the public on April 6th, 2006, and it was dubbed by
the internal indicator of "Typ 8J". And like its predecessor the
First Generation TT, it was praised by critics for its
innovative, bold, provocative look and design, which is has been
kept traditional with the brand. The ideals of the original
unmatched design of the Audi TT both first and second can be
heaped upon to its creative designers Freeman Thomas and J Mays
of the Volkswagen's California design studio, as well as Martin
Smith for the original concept and designing of the prize
winning interior.
The prototypical Second Generation TT production car comes
standard with the "3.2 litre VR6 engine" that outputs 250PS
(247hp or 184kW). But the car has an additional option of Audi's
rendition of direct injection engine in the form of the "2.0
litre Turbo I4", also known as the FSI (Fuel Straight/
Stratified Injection) outputting 200PS (197hp or 147kW). The FSI
mechanics was obtained from the specially crafted Le Mans racing
cars, which resulted in an overall improvement of fuel
capabilities, and enhanced power turnover. This technology was
imitated, enhanced, and integrated into Audi's format for the
2.0 litre engine. The transmission of the car came with the
basic 6 speed manual drive, but has added the alternative of the
DSG refined model as well, along with the "quattro all wheel
drive" trimmings being standard with the 3.2 litre V6 engine.
The body-style of the original TT has been augmented and
matched up to a higher level of elegance, and style, but still
supporting the fundamental traits of the First Generation TT.
The car is still being offered in the sheik roadster design, and
the 2+2 coupe (4-door coupe), in keeping with the tradition for
all the inherited lovers of the First Generation TT car. One of
the TT's newer design is that it is manufactured out of aluminum
in the front end, and out of steel in the rear end in order to
magnify the balance of the car overall. This change also allows
the car to be obtainable in both all wheel drive, and front
wheel drive. The specifications of the second generation TT
includes a length of 4178mm (164.5in); wheelbase of 2468mm
(97.2in); a height of 1352mm (53.2in); and a width of 1842mm
(72.5).
The TT comes with a couple of new performance intensifying
embellishments that makes the car truly unique and allowing for
a smoother ride, like the new reactive suspension the "Audi
Magnetic Ride" being available as an option for the TT and is
firmly based on "Delphi's MagneRide magneto rheological
dampers". The "Audi Magnetic Ride" allows the suspension to
automatically adapt relying on the present road settings that
car might meet. A further addition to its interactive list is
the redefined back spoiler that automatically lengthens allowing
speeds over 75mph (120km/h), but can also retract at an
appropriate location to allow even a low of 50mph (80km/h),
which can also be controlled by the driver by utilizing a switch
on the dashboard.
The Second Generation TT has captured many awards for the
combination of the old with new and complete innovation at its
best. The TT was the very first recipient of the "Drive Car of
the Year", and outright won "Atuobild's Most Beautiful Car",
"Fifth Gear Car of the Year 2006", "Top Gear Coupe of the Year
2006", "World Design Car of the Year 2007", and has been a
finalist for "World Car of the Year". In 2004, Audi has
announced plans for the next generation TT that will completely
be manufactured out aluminum, and would go into the production
line in 2007.

Warning : Maybe this is you!
So you joined a MLM company and you are really excited to get
started. Maybe a few months in you realize that you aren't
making any money matter of fact you are spending more then you
are making. What went wrong?
In order to make money in the MLM industry you need to follow a
duplicable system. People buy solutions not more problems.
So this article is attempt to educate you in what you really
must follow if you ever wish to make money in the MLM industry.
The first thing you must do is find a MLM product that you
believe in. If you don't believe in the product you are selling
you won't make many sales. People love passion if they see that
product A somehow improved your life they will listen.
Once you have decided on company to work with the next thing
you need to do is investigate the different MLM teams that are
out there. The internet makes finding recruits for your business
easy because of this fact many people join MLM teams that are
not prepared to duplicate what they do. This leaves many people
confused and angry.
Become the center of your universe.
You must be willing to chart new ground. People follow leaders
not followers. Take the advice of your upline. There are there
to help you through rough waters. The only way you can teach
people to duplicate your success is by having your own
experience.
How do you become a leader?
In simplest terms you need to drive traffic to your MLM offer.
You need to teach your downline how to attract traffic to their
MLM offer. Duplicate this and you will be well on your way to a
6 figure income.
If you don't already have a mailing list of thousands of
prospects or you haven't already proved to the world that you
are a internet guru then you must ride other peoples success.
This is why the most critical step in having a duplicable
system is joining a team that is successfully duplicating their
business.
Joining the right MLM team could easily mean the difference
between failure and defeat. I stress this point because you
could end up spending thousands of dollars and never seeing a
cent of it. That's why it pays to join the right team to begin
with.
Here is what to look for when you are researching a MLM team to
join forces with.
Do they use their own capture pages?
Do they answer emails and phone calls?
Do they have training sites where I can learn?
Do they host web conferences this is an important point, If the
team you are joining aren't holding private web conferences
online then they are not utilizing the internet correctly and
are probably not making that much money. Weekly web conferences
are very important it makes it possible to communicate with your
team live. This is powerful in duplicating your business. If you
join the right team you can leverage their business to grow your
business.
Matter of fact join the right team and your success is
practically guaranteed. If you are willing to be a leader then
success will follow.
What should you expect when you join a MLM team?
A proven marketing strategy for all income levels.
Don't let advertising cost hold you back there are many methods
to marketing online. You just need to pick one and be consistent
with it.
Once you have found the right team you can begin the process of
duplication.

Heres the thing, I believe 'Boredom' to be a 'BIG part of Bad
Behavior' in doggys. If you think about it and put yourself in
their shoes, you may possibly come to understand what it takes
for them to communicate their NEEDS. They cannot speak the
English Language or? They do however have other ways of getting
your attention and some may be a bit destructive. So, I think we
humans need to be these 3 things, Patient, Gentle and Consistent
and we must 'Never Give Up'. If you have a ''new puppy" or a
''rescue doggy'' that is showing you these kinds of ''boredom
signals'', Chewing, Jumping, Barking, Digging or disobedience of
any sort, you now know you will have to take the leadership role
and that the above 3 things is what is expected or required of
you in dealing with bad behavior and the way you communicate.
#1.Chewing-If the doggy is just a puppy it may be as simple as
supplying doggy with chewing toys/items from your local pet
store. It could also be an undiagnosed medical problem which can
be handled with medication. You will need a vet at some point so
I would suggest one of the very first things you do is take the
doggy for a check-up (Up front, just put it in the budget).
Peace of mind. On the other hand the doggy may just be trying to
get your attention."Hey, look at me, I'm still here and you've
been at work all day! I was so bored I chewed up your new
$100.00 sneakers." Although there are those who probably nay say
the idea, give the doggy an old shoe with your scent on it for
'doggys alone time day delight' and be sure to pick-up other
tempting items before you leave doggy for work or? You will need
to schedule "Quality Time"to spend with your doggy, dog walks,
dog parks(good for socialization skills) or whatever regular
outings you come up with, it's a 'Boredom Preventative' MUST!
#2.Barking-Sometimes it really is just 'dog talk' between the 2
of you, one of those tender moments. But when it is not, boredom
and loneliness are the most common reasons. Try leaving a radio
or TV on, they even make videos for animals while you are away
at work. The doggy should have lots of toys to amuse himself and
the squeakier the better.
#3.Digging-This activity may just be a part of that doggys
'breed' or sheer boredom. Now would be a good time to teach your
doggy how to fetch, most love this game but it must be taught
when the 2 of you are alone so that other doggys do not run
interference in lesson. Here is the payoff, the more exercise
can make your doggy too tired to 'dig'. Also there is a
non-toxic doggy repellent you can spray where you don't want
your doggy to dig.
#4.Jumping-Most people do not appreciate ( including dog
lovers) a doggy propelling itself in your face. This is a very
hard one to break, you may need to physically enforce and with a
strong command word, then reward with verbal praise and a treat.
Check with a dog trainer for most effective way to deal with
this behavior. But again it is usually out of loneliness/boredom
because they are so glad and excited to see you!
Disobedience of any kind will always call for repetitive
lessons and rewards. Some of these sweet babys just do not
understand what is expected of them, and that is when Patience,
Gentleness and Consistency come into play. If this becomes too
frustrating for you and the doggy, you may want to consider
obedience school. This will be good for both of you and make
your time spent together more enjoyable!
